-Pandora Lockhart-

Pandora looked over at Sorren and chuckled, shaking her head a bit. "I don't like men holding me down."she told him, running a hand through her hair. Her gaze returned over to Azalea. She couldn't help but gulp a little loudly when she heard that her mother was dead. It brought back many memories, some more happy then others. But it seemed as if those memories were fading. "Im sorry Azalea.."she said, emotionless. She zoned out little when she said that. Thoughts popped into her head, as if a diary just started flipping pages. But all she caught were glimpses of them. Pandora hopped that it wouldn't be the last time she thought back to those visions. Those were the only pieces of happiness she had left in her life.

Her attention was taken from her when Azalea mentioned her mother. The only emotion she felt was pure hatred. She never liked her mother and her hatred for her would forever linger in Pandora's tainted soul. "Ash. She could burn in hell for all I care."she said in a stone and icy cold voice. As those peaceful thoughts left, new memories popped into her head. As she thought of them, her marks on her neck and skin were glowing cherry red and the color of her eyes were switching from dark red to black in a quick motion. Pandora dug her nails into her the palms of her hands, not really feeling the pain in her skin

Azalea drummed her fingers on the table, thinking back to the times with Pandora, when she wasn't cold and before she'd encountered Keeper. For a moment Azalea almost dissapeared. As a Whisper, she had the opportunity to relieve her own memories, and others if she acquired them. Azalea smiled slightly at Pandora's response, full of hate. She knew Pandora and her mother didn't exactly get off on the right foot, and expected the response. Azalea was using this as a bit of payback for asking about her mother, even if it was genuine, Azalea was quick to temper, especially when it came to her family, even if Pandora meant well.

Azalea allowed a smile curve at her lips. Naturally." She replied gently, but without emotion as she watched Pandora flick between her other form. Azalea looked amused as she attempted to push Pandora over the edge. However Cat, the angel quickly rushed in.

"Perhaps," Cat said quickly, "We should change the subject." Cat looked at Sorren with wide eyes, mouthing 'help' as she attempted to calm both girls down.

Breakfast period was nearly over, Kalin and Akira had missed it, once again. Sorren wasn't surprised and simply sighed at the thought. He raised an eyebrow as he looked over to Pandora, he couldn't help but wonder if what she said was the truth or really there was an undiscovered undertone. Sorren felt the slight twinge of awkwardness and then scorn pierce the atmosphere as Azalea's and then Pandora's mother was mentioned. Clearly both were rather sore subjects.

Sorren tilted his head inquisitively as Pandora's eyes shifted colour and the markings on her skin began to glow. It suddenly clicked in his head that she was a succubus as his attention was drawn to her markings and the change in her eyes. Her relationship with her mother was seemingly extremely strained. Sorren wasn't sure how to react, he knew of succubus' but didn't know what to do in a situation like this. His eyes flicked to Azalea and Cat, hoping they would do something but instead Azalea decided to make it worse. Of course. He rolled his eyes before Cat silently pleaded for him to change the subject.

Put on the spot, Sorren had no clue what to bring up, feeling as if every subject he turned to would be a terrible idea. The hybrid ran a hand through his hair, trying to think of a neutral subject to bring up. "Let's stop talking about family now...", he said shooting Azalea a glare, "What do you two do when you're not trying to see how quickly you can frustrate someone?". Sorren shook his head slightly, the peace he had hoped had already been disrupted.

Pandora calmed down a little bit, enough to stop her eye color from switching but it wasn't enough to stop her markings from glowing. "Its been a while since Ive worked with an animal."she told him and looked over at Azalea again. "Why don't you tell us how to stop people from frustrating others."she said. A small smile appeared on her face. She liked it when she seen people this way. Something about deep annoyance and frustration gave Pandora life. It was kinda her energy source. "Tell me Azalea. Besides the fact that you've become an anger creator, how's life for you here. I bet its a lot more stress relieving with him at your side."she said referring to Sorren.

Azalea smirked at Sorren's glare feeling triumphant with some small victory. Cat began to tap on the table until Azalea's hand shot out from under the table, grabbing Cat's wrist and putting an end to it. Her head still pounded. She snorted at Sorren's attempt to change to subject, but didn't pursue the family topic.

Azalea wore a lazy, smug smirk as Pandora made a little dig at her before continuing with her words. Azalea's finger twitched at Pandora's question, and the way she tried to put Sorren as her boyfriend once again. "Quite the opposite actually." Azalea said matter of factly, which was true with her conflicting emotions for him. "But I'm sure you don't have to deal with that, do you? I'm sure you've had plenty of you're fair share of men." Azalea retorted with a smirk, cocking her head in a curious mocking fashion.

Sorren couldn't help but snigger at Pandora's comment which was directed at Azalea. Although he had hoped for peace, entertainment at its finest was when drama was started; specifically throwing shade at people. Sorren raised a fist to his mouth, "Burn", he mumbled trying to hold back a grin. Sorren brought his hands together and rubbed them for a few seconds, as if he was about give a life lesson. "Well", he started calmly, "All you have to do is teach people why it's such a bad idea to frustrate you". The hybrid looked over to Pandora and smirked, "Then it should all fall into place, people will know exactly where they stand after being given some...reinforcement".

Sorren sighed at the mention of him and Azalea as a thing again. The topic being brought up another time just caused him to think about it more, and the reference in which Pandora was hinting at only made it worse. Sorren forced out a chuckle, attempting to answer in a light-hearted manner, "The only time Azalea relieves stress is when she leaves", he said with a smug smirk. Azalea returned her own dig back to Pandora. This is great. Sorren thought, highly amused with the back and forth conflict of words between the two.

"Honey, I can get more men in a few months then you can get in a lifetime."she told the girl, with a smile. It was quite true though. As for Sorren's comment, she sighed and looked at her. "I don't think this girl understands boundaries. Teach her, maybe she'll learn."she added and messed with the necklace on her neck. She sat up straighte, feeling a bit sore from leaning on the metal table for so long. Looking over at the clock, she sighed. I don't feel like going to class right now, she thought to herself. Maybe I should just skip. A few more days won't do no harm right? "On a different note, whats this dance you are all talking about?"she asked curiously. Pandora never really went to these dances. The only type of entertainment in her land was fighting, brutal murder, and other things.

Azalea smiled at Pandora with a sickly sweet smile. "Honey, I don't need men to feel wanted." Azalea then turned, her brown eyes eyes narrowed dangerously at Sorren as she tore the butter knife out of the poor peice of bread. "What's your stance on silver, Sorren? I think it's a quite lovely, can be used on all sorts of things." Azalea said feigning curiosity, although her eyes glinted dangerously at him. The air was stifling. No, that wasn't right, Azalea felt stifled.

Azalea glanced behind Sorren, across the room, leaning against the wall, clad in back, was Keeper, or Kole as was his real name. He looked roguishly amused, a roguish strand of midnight hair hung in front of his eyes.

Azalea turned back, to Pandora with a cold smile. "It's been so, fun catching up with you Pandora. I look forward to seeing more of you." Azalea said with mock sincerity. As Azalea stood, she planted the butter knife with a loud bam on the table, right in between Sorren's fingers, behind him, she whispered right in his ear, not taking her eyes off Pandora.  "Careful. You may soon find her tongue down you're throat, unless that was you're goal." She whispered icily with a sweet smile. Feeling a stab of pain as she said so.  Cat frowned, glancing between the two girls.

Azalea gracefully maneuvered herself away from the table, giving Cat a glance that told her not to follow. Azalea walked over to Keeper, the two looked to exchange few words before Keeper took her arm and nearly shoved Azalea out the cafeteria doors, but not before glancing back and smiling one long-dimpled smile at the three, looking intrigued. Before both disappearing from sight out the doors.

Cat glanced between Sorren and Pandora before she finally asked the question that had been bothering her. "What exactly is the history between you and Az?" Cat asked with raised eyebrows at Pandora.

Pandora almost vomited at Azalea's comment. "Oh god no, I'd rather kill myself." she said, hand on her stomach a bit. But then she realized that that must have sounded really rude. Looking over at Sorren, she shook her head. "Don't take offence to that. I just don't mess around with hybrids. Im forbidden to do so." she said, lying about that last part. She could do whatever the hell she wanted, but she would never mess around with a hybrid. Well not against her free will. "Azalea why don't you do that? im sure your dying to. You know what the family used to say. Ce que cette personne déclare, c'est ce que la personne désire dans la vie***"she said in french. It was an old saying that past down in the family, but it was the truth.

She waved goodbye, blowing her a mocking kiss and chuckled when she left. Couldn't handle all this, she thought to herself. When a girl asked their history, she chuckled again and patted the seat across from her. "Honey, grab some popcorn. Its a lot to process. So much scandals, not enough peace."she said and looked at Sorren. "Im guessing you wanna go with your tramp. Be gone if you do want to. Right now, kitty here wants to know."she replied and looked at the girl.

"Basically, me and Azalea were very close friends in the past, Our families were practically one huge family or clan or whatever the hell you want to call it."she said, clearing her throat a little bit. "Well there was a secret affair going on between my real mother and Azalea's real father. Of course they were married to different people at the time, but that doesn't tend to stop true love does it,"she smiled and continued. "Long story short, my biological mother was executed because of that and I don't know what the hell happened to Azalea's father. Thats what pretty much caused us to hate each other. We both blamed each other for what had happened. And thats pretty much when I disappeared. I did come back once or twice to check up on my family, but I completely stopped when my father just remarried that old bitch."she said referring to her stepmonster. Just the thought of it made her marks start glowing again, but this time there was a searing sound, as if her own skin was burning. "Oh don't worry sweetheart, that happens all the time. No biggy."she said to Cat, noticing her expression.

The bell to signal the end of breakfast period rang, the mass of students that Sorren only now noticed took up the cafeteria began to pile out. For once, Sorren hoped that today wouldn't be as eventful as the day previous. The hybrid preferred to always be in control, yesterday, there were some parts of the day where he didn't feel like that. He hated it. Sorren had AP Biology first, a subject which he particularly enjoyed, but he wasn't sure if he would be able to focus in it; with the previous days events and a certain whisper on his mind. The school were more lenient in terms of the older students skipping class as long as their grades remained adequate. Plus, it's not like Sorren had never skipped a class before. Sorren resolved he would get Akira and Kalin to ditch with him

Sorren grinned as he looked over at Azalea. He knew what she was doing. It quite amused him to see his playful comment had exerted such a reaction. What he didn't expect was for her to suddenly place the knife right between his fingers in a quick, fluid motion. Sorren eyes widened slightly and he instantly moved his hand away from the silver utensil, not wanting to get burned. Sorren cringed as Azalea whispered in his ear, she couldn't have been more wrong, if anything he would want Azalea kissing him. A thought that caused him to nibble on his lip.

As Azalea walked away and towards Keeper, Sorren frowned, being reminded that the Keeper situation was real. Sorren didn't care about Pandora's opinion of him to be quite frank and so simply ignored her statement. He gently tapped a finger on the table as he watched Azalea leave, his gaze then landing on Pandora. The hybrid got annoyed at her comment on Azalea, no longer seeing it as harmless banter. "The only person resembling a tramp here is sitting right in front of me", Sorren began as he slowly stood up, "By the way you're dressed, it looks like your going to be standing on the street corner later". Sorren wore a condescending sneer as he implied Pandora was dressed like a prostitute. He then nodded a goodbye to Cat, Sorren couldn't spend anymore time around Pandora, he might just rip her throat out.

Sorren walked out the cafeteria, as much as he wanted to hear the history between Pandora and Azalea, he couldn't risk getting angry in such a populated area. As he strolled down the hallway and towards his favourite garden, Sorren pulled out his phone and sent a text to the group chat. He told them to meet him in 'the spot' as it was commonly referred to amongst the friends - Sorren had something important to discuss with them.

Azalea had not wanted to leave, she was simply having too much "fun." with Pandora, although she was a bit taken aback with Sorren taking Pandora's side, and felt a bit stung. But refusing Keeper would be much more dangerous.

Azalea was grasped firm around the arm as Keeper dragged and pushed her along side him, moving in quick, sleek, catlike strides, moving through the crowding halls. Azalea attempted to yank her arm away but his grip was tight in his long fingers. Within seconds Azalea found herself pushed into the tight closet space of the janitors closet, the door shutting behind her as Keeper closed it.

Azalea spun around, angry. "You stole it. My necklace." Azalea said, more of a statement then question.

"Ah, straight to the point. That is bad manners you know." Keeper said, blocking her exit.

"Give it back." Azalea demanded.

"Do you know why I am called Keeper?" He said. "Because I keep. You have known me thus long."

"Move."

In one silky movement, Keeper had backed Azalea straight into a wall, pinning her against it with his weight.

"I had hoped," Keeper spoke in a low voice. "You would make this less complicated, but alas it seems not."

In a sharp movement Keeper's long, pointed finger wrapped around her throat, and leaned in so his face was merely inches from her, she should've felt the warmth off him, but did not. Azalea choked in an attempt to cry out.

"Miss Azalea I have spent a disgusting plentiful amount of time looking for you." Keeper said in a low voice, dangerously smooth. "Alas, I want to make sure my lady, or her gentleman don't break the rules. Or it would result in ah, unfortunate consequences. Is that not so?" His grip tightened on her throat.

Azalea managed to weakly nod, struggling for air.

Keeper allowed a trace of a smile to curve his lips. "Naturally. But ah! Seeing is believing is it not?" His black eyes glinting.

He didn't wait for a response, instead he grabbed her by her bruised wrist, receiving a cry from Azalea and he dragged her back through the halls filled with masses. Keeper halted to a stop, a distance away, Sorren strolled down the hallway, phone in hand, seemingly strolling towards outside. Keeper grasped her hard about the waist and pulled her tightly against him, his chest against her back.

"Ah you're gentleman, Sorren Latrent. I must say my lady, I cannot say we had many hybrids in my time. He has quite lovely friends, Kalin and Akira. " Keeper murmured in her ear.

"Alas, I also have my own fair share of acquaintances. Now-you see those three gentleman on there devices over there?" Keeper asked, indicating to three lonely looking teens on there phones.

"In there possession they have some very pretty silver-"

Azalea opened her mouth to scream in warning but Keeper clamped a hand tightly over her lips, her lips throbbed against his fingers, his other arm still wrapped around her waist.

"Hush," he said. "There now, hush. That is a sweet thought my lady, except he'd be down with a snap of my fingers." He whispered. "And my lovely friend who kindly removed you're necklace, is a vampire, Miss Azalea. She'd have no problem detaching Miss Caterina's head."

Azalea cringed, trembling.

"Miss Azalea, if you so much as go against our agreement, I will kill Sorren, along with Caterina and everyone else remotely acquainted." Keeper said calmly in his chocolate smooth voice, no trace of remorse. "Is that not fair?"

Azalea quickly nodded as Sorren dissapeared from her line of sight. Keeper's hand slid away from her waist and mouth, when Azalea turned around, Keeper was gone. And the crowd of student subsided as they piled into first period. Azalea shook all over, she couldn't feel anything but the cold fear in her stomach. She would not be going to first period.

Azalea darted outside, glancing around to make sure nobody was around before darting into the tick forestry. Azalea ran until she couldn't, through the forestry. Until she got to the waterfall, where Azalea sat on the cold, slick wet stone by the gushing waterfall, tucking her knees to her chest.

Cat gaped as Sorren suddenly lashed out at Pandora. Cat couldn't understand why everyone fought and killed, forever innocent. Cat gaped as Sorren walked out before turning and excitedly to Pandora, eager to hear the story. Cat sat on the edge of her seat as Pandora told the story. Raising and furrowing her brows as the story was unfolded.

Cat furrowed her brows as she watched with worry and concern at Pandora as it sounded like her skin was flaming. But she relaxed at Pandora's assurance. "I'm sorry...about you're mother." Cat said sympathetically with a touch of soberness. Cat jumped, realizing the bell had rang. "Oh! I'm gonna be late!" She said, quickly gathering her things. She'd already skipped last period the day before, if she did it again she feared for her grades, Cat was a typical stereotype, always trying to get 10/10 grades, working herself to the bone in progress.

Sorren Latrent - Laughing.gif

~Sorren Latrent~

Sorren had reached the gardens and had been sitting calmly on a bench, simply admiring his surroundings as he waited for his friends to turn up. The hybrid wasn’t sure how they would take what he had to tell them, Sorren hated to ask for help but this was a situation where he was willing to swallow his pride.

“Just because you can skip class doesn’t mean you always should”, Akira complained as she walked around a pillar and towards Sorren. He gave her a half smile as she sat beside him.

Where’s Kalin?”, Sorren asked with a sigh, not surprised that his psychic friend was the last one to arrive.

Akira rolled her eyes but wore a smile on her face as she replied, “Oh, he stopped to speak to that Cat girl. He thinks he has a chance”.

Sorren face palmed. Of course, he thought, typical Kalin. He was so easily side-tracked that Sorren worried that he would even turn up at all. Just as that thought entered his mind, Kalin rounded the corner, his face beaming.

“She is totally digging it”, Kalin said with a grin as he strolled over to Sorren and Akira, nodding to himself in triumph.

His friends knew that Kalin thought anyone who even showed remote friendliness or general kindness were considered to be ‘digging it’ by his standards.

“Sure…”, Akira uttered, not wanting to dampen her friend’s high spirits. Sorren took a breath before getting straight to the point.

I need your help to blackmail someone”, Sorren said matter-of-factly with a solemn facial expression.

“No problem, I’m i-”, Kalin began before being cut off by Akira.

“That’s a big ask, you’re a hybrid, why can’t you do it yourself?”

Kalin looked at Akira with a face that seemed like she had just eaten the last cookie on the planet. “Rude…”, he mumbled before turning to Sorren, curious as to his reply.

It’s something that requires multiple stages, it’s simply not possible on my own”.

Akira fired another question at Sorren straight away, “Why do you need to blackmail whoever it is?”.

Sorren glanced around, his eyes scanned for any prying eyes or eavesdropping ears. “All will be revealed in time, I just need you guys to trust me. This is really important”. Sorren didn’t want to reveal any of the details of his plan yet, he still had to figure out the minor details and he didn’t want to tell them everything in case they pulled out. Something he couldn’t risk.

Kalin finally spoke up again after seeing Akira deep in thought, “I’m in”, he rushed out. Half fearing that Akira would interrupt him again but continued after seeing she didn’t. “I know you would do the same for us, and you have on multiple occasions before”. Kalin laughed as he remembered a previous venture the friends had been on “It can’t be as bad as that time with the Gorgon”.

“Don’t mention that”, Akira hastily butted in, raising a hand to Kalin’s face to signal she was ready to use a spell to prevent him speaking at a second’s notice. Sorren snickered, knowing she would actually do it if Kalin spoke another word on the subject. Kalin simply used a hand to gesture that his lips were sealed before Akira rested her hands gently on her lap.

“I’m in…But…I want details as soon as possible”, the blonde-haired witch said calmly.

Sorren stood up, placing his hands in his pockets, “Deal”, he said with a grin before taking a few steps away from the bench. “As for now, we can just skip class together”, he began to slowly saunter around the garden, thinking about what he was going to do next.

“We could be learning”, Akira said as she stood up, about to protest to Kalin and Sorren, “You know, doing what we come to school for”. She looked between the two, Kalin had started to lounge on the bench and Sorren didn’t seem to be listening. She plopped herself back down on the bench with a sigh, feeling as if she was talking to a brick wall. However, she would rather hang out with them than go through the boredom of her current class, Akira just liked to try and maintain a model student persona.

Sorren contemplated leaving the school grounds and paying a certain old crone a visit but resolved it was too early. Access to her ‘shop’ was restricted until it was dark, a rule to prevent it being discovered by common folk. He needed to collect information before he could put his plan into action, he would just refine the steps until then. Anyway, Sorren still had the whole Keeper situation to deal with.

 ~Azalea Silvers~

The sounds of wildlife and the beautiful, gushing waterfall filled her ears, but this time, it couldn't calm her. Her mind wandered back to the hallway, Sorren had no knowledge of walking past three wielding silver. Keeper was right. One snap of his fingers, and Sorren could've died. Cat and herself could've died the previous night, unknowingly sleeping in the same room with one of Keeper's aliases. Azalea could've watched Sorren die, and would've been helpless to do anything.

Azalea trembled, tucking her knees closer to chest.

They step out of line, and Keeper would start killing off both of their friends one by one. Azalea felt helpless. She hated it. Azalea angrily picked up a stone and threw it into the waterfall, it dissapeared in the rushing water. Azalea stared in emptily until her phone buzzed.

Lol why aren't you in class?

Azalea ignored it and Cat sent her another text. Then another, and another. Azalea always responded, but now...she just couldn't. She was too tired. Of everything. Azalea buried her face in her hands, sighing. What was she going to do? After a moment she raised her head. If she ran, would Keeper follow? The thought of leaving played out in her head again. She'd betray Cat and Sorren in the process, as she had done with so many others. They would die. Loose ends and all that. Or Keeper would kill them. Azalea stared at her bruised wrist, throbbing from Keeper once again.

Cat grew increasingly worried as her texts went on without reply, Cat continued to send out texts until her teacher took her phone away for. Cat slumped in her seat, anxiety filling her, maybe she was with Sorren. The thought wasn't exactly welcoming considering the events yesterday. Cat impatiently drummed her fingers on her desk as the teacher droned on.

Sorren Latrent - Happy.gif

~Sorren Latrent~

Sorren and his friends had hung out together for the whole of the first period, it seemed to have flashed by. Sorren felt somewhat at peace, a pang of happiness, he had found people who he could just be him around. Live like he wants to. He hadn't felt comfortable enough around anyone or in any particular surrounding ever since the incident, forever wary and suspicious. Akira and Kalin brought out that side of him that he thought had been lost.

"I cannot skip second period as well, Professor Danvers will actually hunt me down", Akira said with a serious tone as she rose to her feet.

Kalin scratched the back of his neck as he looked around in a slightly embarrassed manner, "I'm kinda failing my next class so I have to go too...", he said, also rising to his feet.

"Spoil sports", Sorren replied with a grin as he folded his arms across his chest.

"Hey", Akira began as she jabbed the hybrid in the shoulder, "We can't all be like Mr. Perfect, I'm sorry if we're too average for you", she laughed.

Sorren stood up, brushed down his clothes, and slowly began to step towards the exit of the garden. "I am far from perfect. Trust me. I guess I can put up with your inadequacy though", he joked, still wearing a grin.

"I'm gonna remember you said that", Akira responded as she strolled out of the garden, giving Kalin and Sorren a wave as she left.

Kalin glanced down at his watch, realising that he was about to be late, he started to jog out of the garden. "Catch up with ya later!", he shouted over his shoulder before disappearing from Sorren's sight.

Sorren thought about going to class, AP Chemistry, he normally didn't mind going to class. Actually enjoying it sometimes, but with recent events he resolved he wouldn't be able to concentrate all that well. His mind wondered to Azalea, curious as to what went down between her and Keeper, a submerged part of him wanting to find out if she was alright. Sorren decided he would find her, purely to see that Keeper hadn't killed her of course.

Sorren thought the easiest way to discover her location would be to check the school records, the register to see if she had turned up to class. He sauntered towards the desk with a fake smile, acting the part of innocent student to passersby but to the receptionist he was compelling her to check Azalea's records. The hybrid leaned an arm on the desk, his gaze scanning the area as he waited calmly for the receptionist to tell him what he wanted to hear. Sorren furrowed his brow as she told him that Azalea had been marked absent for first and now second period. He couldn't prevent a feeling of worry beginning to build up.

It clicked in his head that she could have just decided to skip both periods, he settled to check the hideout that they were at yesterday, the only place he could think that she would be at despite it being a place Keeper had found. Sorren moved with brisk movements, he was impatient and wanted to find her as soon as possible. In less than a minute he had arrived at the hideout, his eyes darted around and saw no sign of her. Sorren felt like sirens started to go off in his head, his panic levels rising. Just then, as if by luck, Sorren caught an all too familiar scent and instantly zoomed in its direction.

The scent lead him to a waterfall, the cascading water appeared almost transparent, the area had a tranquil aura; Sorren quite liked it and had began to take it in. That was until his eyes rested on Azalea, she was visibly in a bad mood but alive, he couldn't deny that the sight was something he was glad about. As an instinctive reaction he was next her in an instant, kneeling beside her, hands moving to her waist about to pull her into an embrace until he realised what he was doing and promptly stopped his movements. He moved a hand rest at his side and another to look as if he was going to run it through his hair, trying to brush over the action. "I suppose it's nice to see you're not dead", he said cooly with a half smile as he sat down next to her, a small sigh of relief escaping his lips.

Azalea grew more irritated as Cat texted her until it abruptly stopped, most likely from getting in trouble, Azalea thought.  She couldn't help but begin to calm down with the serenity of the waterfall and forestry around her. Azalea picked up a twig next to her, snapping it in half before tossing it into the water, she watched it bob up before disappearing down the waterfall.

Azalea steadied her rapid breathing she hadn't realized she had. Her mind wandered to Sorren, and she debated telling him about what had happened between her and Keeper, and how close he'd been to his potential killers, how close Keeper had been. But she decided against it, there was no use in giving him anything to try and fix himself. Azalea couldn't stop herself from beginning to worry. What if Keeper had done it anyway? What if he killed Sorren to make a point? Azalea swallowed, it hurt from Keeper nearly choking her earlier.

As if to answer her question, Azalea was startled by Sorren's sudden appearance kneeling right next to her. she nearly fell back into the water from surprise.

"Oh!" Azalea said, surprised.

After recovering herself, Azalea visibly looked him up and down with a glance, as if checking for injuries and when she saw none, Azalea couldn't help but hunch in relief, turning and staring at the water as he spoke, a small smile curving the corners of her mouth. She had to admit, seeing a living Sorren was better then seeing a dead one, and she resisted the urge to lean her head on his shoulder, or embrace him from pure relief, and she decided to fidget with her throbbing wrist instead.

Azalea slightly snorted at his statement, as if it was completely ironic he said it, a small smile still curving her lips. "I should say the same." Azalea breathed out, sounding relieved before catching herself, her face turned into a scowl, although she was still smiling. "Shouldn't you be in second period?" Azalea asked, sounding amused, still watching the reflecting, gushing water, creating a small rainbow from her perspective.

Sorren Latrent - Laughing.gif

~Sorren Latrent~

A laugh escaped Sorren's lips as Azalea nearly fell into the water, he had to admit that would have been incredibly funny. For a split second he considered throwing her in there just to see her reaction, but resolved against it, she would probably pull him in and then try and drown him under the water. Sorren tilted his head sidewards as Azalea looked him up and down, she wouldn't visibly check him out, she didn't seem like that kind of person and so he wondered why she did it. Keeper came to mind, he must have said something. The hybrid didn't bring it up though, he assumed Azalea came here to get her mind away from Keeper and so he didn't want to spoil that.

As she stared down at the water, Sorren couldn't resist using his eyes to adore each feature of her face from the defined to the delicate, the light only seeming to illuminate her beauty. He strained himself to look away from her and to the gushing waterfall, the sound of the running water was heaven to his ears, a sound which has always brought peace to Sorren's often hectic and conflicted mind. He brought a hand to the back of his neck, to stop himself from acting on impulse. All he could think about now while being in such a serene area and alone with Azalea, was how soft would her hair feel as he twirled it between his fingers or how deep he would fall into her eyes if he lost himself in them for an hour.

Sorren began to draw random patterns on his knee to keep his mind focused on something else other than the whisper, an eyebrow rose at her first statement. Sorren was still intrigued as to what happened between Azalea and Keeper, her glance along with her words seemed like a reference to something. Sorren rolled his eyes at her question and tried to suppress a smile, "I should say the same", he repeated her words in a calm voice with a smile beginning to curve up his face.

Sorren eyes remained on his finger, drawing invisible patterns as he spoke, "What happened between you and Keeper?". Sorren asked, not beating around the bush and getting straight to the point. Curiosity got them best of him and he asked her about it. For one, he was worried about her and what Keeper had planned though she wouldn't catch him alive admitting that. Second, asking her about Keeper would hopefully distract him from his other thoughts, a repercussion of dampening the mood with the mention of Keeper.

Azalea could feel Sorren's intense gaze on her. Azalea had naturally felt the gaze of many men on her, as she intended for them to, to get what she wanted that it, but this was different, maybe it was because in the back of her mind, she knew she felt something for Sorren, despite her efforts of trying to hate him. Azalea felt heat rise to her cheeks, and for a moment Azalea considered plunging into the water to cool down.. or push him in the water. Which would probably just end up with Azalea tumbling in the water after failing to push him in.

As Sorren looked away, Azalea found herself unconsciously taking in his own features, with his built body and emerald eyes that seemed to make her wither every time he looked at her, his stubble. She found herself wondering what it'd be like to lay on his chest, to dance with him, or to even touch her lips to his own. She watched him draw invisible patterns on his knee and suppressed a smile.

Azalea caught herself staring and quickly looked back towards the water in front of her, blushing fervently, and she fought the urge to bury her head in the ground like an ostrich. Azalea allowed a smug smirk to take place on her face as he calmly repeated her words, she glanced over at him to see him smile, and she struggled to suppress her own as she glanced back at the water, feeling like a stupid school girl ogling after a crush.

Azalea's smile faded as he asked about what happened with Keeper and herself, and her finger traced over her bruised wrist. She considered lying, but didn't see a point in it. "He made a very convincing point. Of course, after demonstrating how easily you could've gone down today." Azalea said in a steady voice, she waggled her finger. "No stepping out of line. " Azalea said, her voice slightly wavering. She decided to leave out the part with Keeper slightly strangling her, or grabbing her by her already-sore wrists, it wasn't exactly relevant in her terms. Azalea stared at the water with hard eyes, tucking her knees closer to her chest.

Sorren continued to draw on his knee, distracting himself and focusing his mind on a specific thing was the only way he could think of from stopping himself from locking his lips with hers. He had been desperately trying to hold back, hide, and deny his feelings for Azalea, now they all seemed to be flooding out of him at once with the first sign that he won’t be able to enjoy her company if Keeper got his way.

Sorren noticed Azalea’s wandering eyes, taking in his features, he grinned to himself. Sorren would be lying if he said he didn’t like her attention. His head still faced towards the water but his eyes drifted over to Azalea, catching her blush. The hybrid internally groaned, the willpower he was exerting at that very moment was definitely something else; at this rate Sorren would have to leave to prevent him acting out of desire.

Sorren turned his head for a moment, looking out towards a group of random trees. He was attempting to regain his composure before he turned back and saw Azalea’s smile fade. Although this was his plan, Sorren was still mildly upset to see her smile disappear. He looked over at her as she spoke, his eyes resting on her finger tracing her bruised wrist. Sorren had noticed her bruising before but he hadn’t taken in how bad it was.

His attention was brought back to her words as Azalea mentioned how he could have gone down today. His eyes widened slightly. He already knows? Sorren questioned himself, unable to prevent his mind from racing, going over possible scenarios in his head. “No stepping out of line”, he mumbled almost subconsciously as he thought about the exact reasons why he couldn’t die just yet. Sorren concluded he would have to conform to Keeper’s demands, at least until a plan was devised to end Keeper’s miserable existence.

Sorren instantly decided that he wanted to change the topic away from Keeper, not wanting to dwell on the subject for long as to not start overthinking the situation. As Azalea tucked her knees closer to her chest, Sorren’s eyes once again glanced at her wrists, he tilted his head in contemplation. “You know”, he began as his eyes raised to her face, “If you want I can heal you”. Sorren revealed his wrist to her, just like he did the day previous. Just a sip of his blood and all her wounds would be fully healed within a mere second. Sorren hardly ever did anything for others unless it somehow benefited him but in this case, he just didn’t want to see her hurt when he could do something about it. Sorren hated himself for feeling this way, it was so unlike him, against the whole persona he had maintained for so long. But Azalea was intoxicating…he couldn’t help himself.

Azalea inspected his face for a reaction from her words, sure enough there was, Azalea's eyes narrowed as his own widened, and she couldn't help but evade into his thoughts using her abilities.  He already knows? Azalea eyes narrowed into cool skits, her dark eyes piercing.

Something clicked in Azalea. Keeper knew Azalea wouldn't step out of line, she didn't last time and she wouldn't now and there was no point in warning her unless he thought Sorren would, Keeper didn't know Sorren, so it was only natural he would threaten him. Azalea snapped out of her thoughts as his eyes landed on her wrist. It was slightly purple, not too bad, but Keeper pulling on it today would most likely bruise it more.

Azalea's eyebrows rose and furrowed as Sorren pulled back his sleeve, and offered her his blood. Her brown eyes searched his face in earnest to see if he was serious or not, after not seeing the slightest bit of a grin, Azalea pursed her lips. Healing her wounds would only give Keeper the satisfaction. After a lengthy pause, Azalea shook her head. "I'll pass...thanks." Azalea said, stubbornly. Too independent to do such a thing, and wouldn't give Keeper the satisfaction. Truthfully, Azalea was surprised Sorren offered his blood, he didn't seem to care before, and he didn't seem to be that type of person, Azalea certainly wasn't.

Azalea fought urge to throw her arms around him, or shake him and scream at him to be careful, to express how dangerous Keeper truly was. Azalea eyes narrowed as her question returned returned to mind. "Whatever game you're playing with Keeper, it won't work he'll-"

Azalea was cut off as a tall figure barreled straight into her side and she plunged straight into the icy water, disappearing in the dark water.

Cat howled with laughter next to Sorren breaking into hysterics. "That'll..teach...you for-for ignoring me!" Cat yelled between breathless pants, bursting into laughter.

Cat howled with laughter until a hand shot out of the water with quick, fast precision grabbing Cat by the arm and pulling her into the slow moving river, which transformed into the waterfall at the end, gushing into a small pool below. Cat emerged from the water, coughing and sputtering.

"Fuck! It's freezing!" Cat sputtered, wiping water out of her eyes.

Azalea was doing the same gritting her teeth and coughing, "Ack! I'm gonna kill you!" Azalea sputtered out angrily, her teeth chattering, glaring at Cat through her  dark dripping hair dripping hair, her wet clothes soaked through and clinging to her tiny waist and curves, Cat chuckled, despite in freezing water, which only reached almost to their shoulder she

Alistair jumped from his sleep, drenched in sweat as he breathed heavily. His eyes were glowing a fierce red as he scanned the room and tried to calm his nerves. "A demon who gets nightmares..one would laugh at the though." He mumbled to himself before hopping out of bed and into the shower, he was already running late so he made no effort to move any faster thanot he needed to. And besides no one actually rushes to pre calculus.

After his shower he'd walked out and over to the larger closet in his dorm, and pulled out a black shirt and grabbed a pair of darker jeans to go with it. Once he was dressed he looked over himself in the mirror and gave a rather devilish smile before grabbing his bag which was rather empty except for a few notebooks and books he used for reading, making his was down the halls and through groups of students nodding hellos and whatnot before going down into the nearly empty cafeteria.

Thankfully the breakfast line was still open and he was able to grab an orange juice and blueberry muffin before walking to find a table next to four other people who seemed to be involved in a rather..interesting conversation which led to one of the girls leaving and followed by the only male who Alistair recognized as Sorren Latrent, a mystery to him but the male had quite the fan base. He was a bit taken back and almost choked on his orange juice when he proceeded to call the female with the familiar symbol on her chest a whore basically which was beyond his reasoning.

Alistair couldn't help but feel bad for the girl or at least taken back by the males comment as would anyone if they heard it. " I'll never understand that guy." He shook his head and rose up, taking his breakfast contents with him as he sat across from where the dark haired girl was. "You alright, love? I can imagine being called out like that this early is a rather nasty shock." He gave her a half smile before continuing to pick at his muffin. "Mm..I'm Alistair, haven't seen you around here before..but then again there are literally hundreds of students here so you can't really blame me." He gave a soft chuckle before looking over her symbol, now able to sneak a better look.

After she had finished telling the girl the story, she smiled and waved by the her. Hmm..nice kitty she is. But one way or another, Azalea will be dead. Even if I have to eliminate that damn puppy to, she thought to herself. Just as she was about to leave, she heard a voice behind her that almost made her flinch. Relax its just someone talking to you. Don't need to be all jumpy, she thought to herself and looked at him. Pandora did have to keep quiet. Did she really look that hurt after Sorren basically called her a prostitute? She just chuckled a bit and shook her head. "Its no biggy. Just a comment. Not like I have to care about his opinions about me."she told him. Sorren is just angry because I can get something and he can't, she thought to herself. She really wanted to snicker at her own thoughts but she was afraid that he would think something different.

"Pandora. Its nice to meet you Alistair,"she told him. "And Im not surprised. I just enrolled yesterday so I wouldn't expect anybody to notice me just yet."she added and smiled. "Are you new here?"she asked.

Alistair nodded, giving a soft smile at her greeting. "Pandora..an intriguing name, its nice to meet you as well." He commented as he finished eating and noticed half of the student body was gone now, leaving only a few tables occupied. "You should be heading to class right? I assume you wouldn't wanna miss out on your very important lessons." His tone held a bit of sarcasm as he smiled and crumbled up his wrapper and downed the rest of his juice.

"Then again I had plans of my own so who am I to judge." He said before tracing a finger over the table as he looked over at Pandora who often seemed to get lost in her own thoughts every once in a while which was understandable for most students, adjusting to life here was difficult. "No actually I've been here for all four years, this one being my last, but as for being new..just step out more and find something you love to do, people will eventually acknowledge your existence..or you can pull the whole loner act." He stated before tossing his wrapper into the garbage can across from them.

"But I'd highly recommend trying new things, our sport teams are pretty good..you should look into that if it suits your fancy." He nodded silently at her before standing up and stretching. "Won't make an impression by sitting on the sidelines, love."

"Your right. I should be heading to class. But I won't be. I've done my time and I know everything there is to know about my abilities, history on how it formed, other valuable information. I would think there is no need going, if you already no the important facts of life. Am I right?"she replied. Pandora had a way with her words, sometimes gaining some enemies. But its not like she cared if she got some enemies or not. Plus, Im here for one reason and one reason only, she thought to herself.

When he mentioned the sports, she cringed a bit and shook her head. "No thanks, im gonna pass."she told him with a chuckle. "I'd rather stick to the loner idea you referred to. "she told him and smiled. When she noticed all the students gone, she sighed. I should probably get going. Before I get confronted by staff, she thought to herself. But she enjoyed a little company every now and then. She didn't want to be rude by leaving the guy out of nowhere. "You planning on skipping class to? You did mention that you had some plans of your own."she asked.

"It all depends on how you view education, knowledge is power would they say. But again it's acceptable to learn at ones own pace so it's natural that you'd view it as such." He nodded his approval at her, accepting everyone's values was important to him but he also learned that others had a different point of view than he did, even though his outlook on life could be seen as a bit unorthodox.

He chuckled at her comment of remaining a loner. "As you wish, I'm sure you have your own reasons." He said before looking around the now empty cafeteria as some of the lunch ladies began cleaning the mess left at the tables. "I honestly planned on skipping but I didn't really know where to, I was just gonna walk around the forest a bit." He thought silently about the dance preparations they still had to do, but it wouldn't be until later today so he could spend his time doing whatever he pleased. "Shall we skip together?" He smiled and walked over, holding out a hand for her.
