Fantasy Mrs. Evans' School for the Gifted

Sorren could feel his anger wanting to tip over the edge, wanting to let go of his inhibitions and just let his rage take over. He couldn't prevent his eyes from turning to the piercing amber of his hybrid form. To turn off his humanity would be a way to release his built up animosity. He hadn't felt like this ever since...that...Sorren's problems usually were dealt with on the spot or within mere moments; Keeper was proving to be a prolonged problem by his standards.

Sorren placed his hand above his head on the same tree in which he had carved into. He closed his eyes and began to focus on his breathing. Sorren just couldn't keep it together though, all his methods for calming down weren't here, he starting to tap the tree with his fist until he spun around in frustration and began to pace again. Times like these were when he hated to be a hybrid.

Heightened emotions were beneficial at times but when allowed to scale out of control could prove catastrophic. Usually, if he took extra care to, he could keep them under check and mask them from other people. Ever since Azalea used her ability on him, Sorren has had immense trouble regulating them though.

He paused and looked up at the darkening sky, his hands still fidgeting. Sorren had completely lost track of time in the cave, the school day had surely ended by now. He didn't care though, his mind was overtaken by a myriad of other things. Sorren's luminous eyes darted to Azalea as she spoke, they flicked to Cat whom was stirring behind her and then back. He froze for a second, looking her over, he had almost forgotten she was here due to his consuming enmity.

Sorren bit his lip, he could tell she had been crying, he had kind of hoped she was dealing with it better than him. Sorren took a step back as he gazed into her eyes, "Please don't come near me", he said in an almost pleading voice through gritted teeth. Sorren wanted to add I don't want to hurt you onto the sentence but couldn't manage it. Sorren twitched with anger, he couldn't calm down, the one person who had managed to calm him before wasn't here - he couldn't let Azalea take that risk.

Azalea considered getting Kalin, but she knew if she left he'd either burn down the forest or calm down by then. Azalea wore a look of somber sympathy. Yes, she knew exactly what he was going through, his emotions were just far enhanced. Azalea couldn't imagine that. When you're sad, you're in despair, but when you love, you really love. She watched him freeze as he looked her over, as if remembering she was there.

Azalea bit her lip as he told her not to come closer. She understood the words unspoken. He wasn't in control. And she was under the risk of getting her throat ripped out. Azalea was stubborn, and guilty, and in a few quick strides, she'd wrapped her arms around Sorren, flinging her arms around his neck in an embrace. She knew no words could possibly calm him down, no words could calm her down.

The embrace was was almost like a million words spoken for Azalea, but it was quick, and she'd pulled away quickly before he would have time to consider tearing her head off.

Cat got up, blinking sleep from her eyes, looking and feeling confused as she tried to remember what happened. Before she knew what was going on, Azalea had pulled her into an embrace. Cat looked past her shoulder at Sorren, she furrowed her brows. What had happened?

Azalea began to gently but firmly shove Cat back towards the school, maybe Azalea could convince Cat to go to the football game with her friends. Azalea took  quick a glance back where Sorren was before she continued to push Cat through the forest.

Interaction: @Bowa

Sorren was taken aback by the sudden embrace, he never expected Azalea to show any kind of affection towards him. He took in her scent for the brief moment, a thought in the back of his mind wishing he could hold her tighter. Sorren didn't get even a chance to respond as she pulled away as quick as she had came over. He could have just ended her existence but Azalea risked it anyway, it took all of his willpower to not sink his fangs into her skin but he didn't do it. He couldn't do it.

As Azalea rushed over to Cat, Sorren watched her figure with a blank expression. He wasn't sure how to feel, instead of being overcome with anger, he wasn't sure which emotion was most prevalent as an array of them swirled around in his head. The hybrid blinked and his eyes had changed back to their glowing green, Sorren didn't think any other person would be able to calm him ever again but Azalea did just that.

Obviously, he wasn't all rainbows and sunshine but Sorren had managed to get a hold of his emotions again. Sorren looked at his hands as his claws retracted and began focusing on his breathing which now enabled him to channel a calm aura. His eyes glanced back up to Azalea as she and Cat started to wander back through the forest. Sorren spoke no words, instead he raised a confused eyebrow as Azalea took a look back at him, even he was surprised she had managed to sooth him; Sorren didn't want to think about what that meant though.

Sorren turned in the opposite direction to that of which Azalea and Cat were going, he still wasn't back to full level-headedness and so resolved to take a few moments alone. Sorren strolled over to a nearby rock and sat on it, folding his arms across his chest. It had been a long day, Sorren thought to himself, somewhat overwhelmed with the days events. At this moment in time, Sorren didn't want to think about what he was going to do about Keeper. He couldn't imagine what Azalea must be going through and the bewilderment in which Cat must feel.

Sorren sat on the cold surface of the rock, his eyes scanned around the area before he was startled by his phone buzzing in his pocket. He pulled out the device and searched the screen for the reason for the alert. It was a message from Kalin

Hey dude, I know u said to come and find u if ur not bk by the end of school...but Akira made a dope ass curry and it would have been gone by the time I came bk from looking for u. I'm sure u understand that food gets priority ;)

Sorren put his phone back in his pocket before he rolled his eyes, his face wore a weak smile, classic Kalin. In the end though, Sorren was glad that he didn't come, he didn't want Kalin to be near him when he was in such a state, unsure of if he could have stopped himself when Kalin's inevitable goofiness lead him to try and jokingly pull Sorren out of his rage. Thinking about it, Sorren didn't know what would have happened if Azalea wasn't there. His stubborn nature would never allow him to admit he felt anything for the whisper but he couldn't prevent a small smile from curving up his lips at the thought of her.

Azalea had been shocked she actually calmed him down. And she wished for a split moment she hadn't pulled away so quickly. The walk back to school consisted of Cat asking a basket full of questions about Keeper, that Azalea chose to ignore. She feared if she did, she'd have another break down. After a while, Cat gave up and it was just the two of them in walking in silence. Beside her, she could feel Cat begin to grin. Oh great.

"So.." Cat said grinning, "That hug though."

Azalea rolled her eyes, shaking her head. "I needed to calm him down. That's all." Azalea said indignantly. Liar, she thought to herself.

"There are plenty of other ways to calm people down. Especially after he specifically told you to stay away." Cat said grinning.

Azalea realized she too, was grinning and she quickly, with effort, regained her steady, cold face. "All apart of the game Cat." Azalea said coolly with a smirk, truthfully, she was just trying to convince herself that.

"Suuuure. Whatever helps you sleep at night." Cat said, bemusedly. "I mean who could blame you? Those eyes. Pow! So green. And that body? Mmmm! Don't even go there, and how bout that-"

"Cat!"

Cat snickered.

Azalea couldn't stop herself from smiling though. She mentally scolded herself for doing so. She couldn't allow herself to feel anything for anyone. Especially with Keeper!

Too late.

Frustrated with herself, Azalea stormed ahead of Cat, who snickered behind her as she quickened her pace to follow.

Finally back on on school grounds, Azalea could hear the distant rumble of students on the field. Azalea had completely forgotten about to homecoming game again.

Cat turned to Azalea. "I planned to go to the game with some friends, you wanna come?"

Azalea shook her head, waving her off. "I'd rather not. I have some things to do." Azalea said briskly.

"At 8:00?" Cat question with raised eyebrows. "Come on it'll be fun! It'll take you're mind off...everything." Cat said pleadingly, taking her hand.

"I don't do fun." Azalea sharply retorted, tugging her hand away.

"Fiiiiine." Cat said in a whiny tone. "I'll be at the game if ya miss me!" Cat exclaimed before jogging off towards the field.

Azalea caught a quick movement out of the corner of her eye. Azalea spun around, only to see Garrett quickly fleeing in the direction of the field.

"Garrett! Buddy!" Azalea exclaimed sarcastically with a grin, throwing up her arms as if he were a friend she hadn't seen in a while. "How you been?" Azalea caught up to him easily, putting a hand on his arm and pulling him back, spinning him to face her. Azalea's eyes were cold as he looked to stammer something out.

"I-I didn't know what he'd do!" Garrett squeaked out, yanking his arm from her grip.

Azalea cocked her head and smiled sympathetically as if he were a poor child, which in a way, he kinda was. "Of course, you didn't." Azalea said in a honey sweet voice that dropped with venom.

Azalea's eyes turned black and Garrett began to bend his arms backwards.

"Ow! Ow! Ow! Owowowowowo!" Garrett cried.

"Now, the next time somebody asks you where I am, what do we do?" Azalea asked in a sweet tone, as if she were talking to somebody completely stupid.

"But he's a hybrid- OW!"

"In sorry, what are we going to do?" Azalea asked sweetly.

"Owowowowow-Okay! Okay! Not tell them!"

"Good." Azalea said, releasing her grip on him. Garrettt sheepishly ran off, rubbing his arms which would surely be sore tomorrow.

Azalea sat down on the bench she'd been previously ambushed on from Sorren and Kalin. Where a large random willow loomed nearby. Azalea like willow trees, which was why this was a favored place of hers to sit.

Mentioned: @Bowa

Sorren had sat for a while simply taking in his surroundings, the dark sky that was illuminated by a scattering of stars, the plethora of plush trees that swayed gently with the push of the wind. Sorren had always felt serene when he took a moment to absorb and appreciate nature. Sorren slowly stood up, brushing down his clothes as he did so and took a final deep breath before he started to stroll towards the school at a leisurely pace.

As he arrived at the school grounds, Sorren heard the bustling of students preparing for tonights game. He wasn't so sure if he was going to go, especially after the day he has had. The hybrid would much prefer to relax before he would have to deal with Keeper, something which was unavoidable.

Sorren saw Azalea sitting on an all too familiar bench. He contemplated whether to go up to her or just walk to the dorms, Sorren didn't want to confront his feelings about Azalea. Brushing them aside was a much easier option, but he still wanted to say something to her.

He calmly walked over to where she was sitting and stood next to the bench. Sorren scratched the back of his neck as he looked at her. "Thanks", he cleared his throat as if it was painful for him to utter the words, "For earlier". Sorren wasn't used to thanking anybody but felt it was needed in this scenario. He began to open his mouth as if he had more to say but instantly closed it again, walking off without saying another word.

Sorren placed his hands in his pockets as he sauntered away from Azalea, heading in the direction of the dorms. He was sure that Akira and Kalin wouldn't have gone to the game, choosing to chill together in Kalin's room instead. It didn't take long for Sorren to traverse the campus to Kalin's dormitory room and he walked in without knocking; a thing that all of the friends did and was considered normal amongst them.

As soon as he shut the door, he turned around to Kalin shooting him his trademark finger pistols, and promptly receiving a slap to the head from Akira.

"I told you to stop doing that...", she sighed.

"Never...I'm not me without my finger pistols", Kalin replied with a chuckle as he rubbed the back of his head.

Kalin spun to face Sorren once again as he took a seat on the worn leather couch that occupied most of the room.

"I told Akira you wouldn't be dead, she was worried you would have been sacrificed to Satan or something", Kalin said with an amused grin.

"Well Azalea is a psychotic bitch!", Akira exclaimed as she held in a snicker.

"She's not that bad".

"Says the guy who didn't receive the murderous stare of all murderous stares", Kalin responded in disbelief. But his facial expression suddenly changed to that of a sly grin, raising his eyebrows up and down at Akira until she wore the same expression.

"So what changed your mind...hmm", Akira said while giving Sorren a nudge.

"I don't blame you, she is a solid 10 out of-", Kalin started before being interrupted by a book to the head.

"Shut up", Sorren said with a wry grin as he pulled out his phone, clearly putting an end to the conversation.

The three sat in Kalin's dorm and hung out, normal teenager stuff for once. Laughing, insulting one another, talking about the most random topics, generally just having fun and enjoying each others company. Sorren hoped that it wasn't the calm before the storm.

Azalea stared at her swollen risk with a glare, as if wishing for it would make the red mark go away. The distant sound of students gathering somewhat soothed her as the sky turned black and the stars shone above her overhead. The night air soothed her, and she temporarily took her mind off Keeper.

As more students excitedly made there way to the field and bleachers for the game, Azalea felt more and more tired. She just wanted the day to end, in fact, she wanted the whole week to end. It killed her knowing it was only the beginning. Azalea looked up, her eyes reflecting the night sky as she took in the beauty of it, but only for a moment.

Azalea's snapped her head in the direction of footsteps approaching, surprised to see it was Sorren, calmly approaching. She gaped as he thanked her for calming him earlier, and almost laughed for the pain it caused him. She didn't know why. Technically, it was her fault he was in this mess, it had only seemed fair to calm him down. Azalea wasn't used to being thanked, and she struggled to find the words. "Yeah.." Azalea said hesitantly, pausing "Sure." Azalea almost shook her head at her poor word choice. Smooth, Azalea, she thought sarcastically. Azalea waited for him to saying something else as he opened his mouth, but to Azalea's little disappointment, he didn't, as well to her relief. How many times did she have to remind herself that feeling anything towards anyone was a good thing? It was bad enough she was friends with Cat, now Sorren?

He literally stuck his claws in you! What are you doing?! Azalea's head screamed.

Azalea shook her head as Sorren dissapeared from her sight. "Just look what you've started." Azalea muttered scoldingly to herself. She got up, shoving her sore wrist in her jacket pocket, she walked around the campus a bit before heading for the dorms, more then anything she wanted to snuggle and mope in her bed. Azalea made her way into the dormitory building and entered her dorm.

Azalea had hardly plopped unto her bed, she didn't even take off her clothes other then her jacket and she had just laid her head on the pillow before the door burst open, followed by Cat, Raisa, and a few others girls Azalea was vaguely familiar with. Azalea sat up.

"Why, why are you here?" Azalea's reaction had a look of bored irritation.

"Well," Cat began excitedly. "Since you didn't want to come to the game, we thought we'd bring the party here!" Cat ignored Azalea's annoyed look.

"Great!" Azalea said with fake enthusiasm, "Leave!"

The girls did not, instead, the decided to crank up music, which Azalea was sure was past the noise limit, and bring out the alcohol. The talking turned into laughing, then gossiping, then drinking and dancing. Azalea eventually decided to have some fun and hogged her own bottle to herself. Hell, she needed it the most. So they danced, even in the small space, blasted the music, and got drunk.

~Sorren Latrent~

The night past in a flash, Sorren, Akira, and Kalin went into the late hours as they lost track of time enjoying each others company. Sorren never thought he would be able to maintain another true friendship again, but here were two people proving him wrong. He just hoped that Keeper wouldn't get to them. He couldn't stray his mind away from him forever, Sorren realised he would have to face the facts, that Keeper was very much real and a serious threat.

At a time Sorren would rather not mention, he escorted Akira back to her dorm and then retired to his own. Exhausted from the days events, he almost instantaneously fell asleep as his body collided with the comfy, soft surface of his bed.

The game of the night before had been a success, everything went down perfectly, to the letter. The football team won the game with ease, the overload of practise clearly paid off. The cheer squad's routine stirred up an uproar of applause as the new stunts wowed each and every spectator. The marching band, like always, performed flawlessly. Overall, the start to the new school year couldn't have been better.

Now, however, it was just a simple day. The normal school schedule would commence at full swing, after the big game yesterday it was time to settle down and get ready for another interesting year. An untold story waiting around each corner.

Sorren yawned as he tried to open his heavy eyes, he was not a morning person. The hybrid leaned up slightly as he stretched but fell straight back down into the comfort of his mattress. Wishing he had the ability to rewind time to savour the bliss of sleep for another hour at least. Fifteen minutes had past before Sorren attempted to get up again, he had to set multiple alarms within regular intervals so he would eventually get out of bed.

Sorren sat up and rubbed his eyes, blinking fast to wake himself up. He glanced around his dorm room, despite the stereotypical teenage boy's bedroom being a disaster zone, Sorren's bedroom was neat and fairly organised; though definitely not immaculate. He swung his legs over the side of his bed before cracking his back and standing up. He shivered as he lazily dragged his feet, strolling towards his bathroom to complete his usual morning routine - Sorren slept in his underwear as he found it the most comfortable, not caring about the coldness of the typical morning.

His usual morning routine consisted of the average things: having a wash, brushing his teeth, doing his hair, changing into clothes etcetera. It took Sorren roughly half an hour to finish this, spending most of the time checking he looked alright in his mirror. Sorren was far from vain but it didn't hurt to make sure he didn't make a fool of himself, plus his parents always told him to take pride in keeping a kempt appearance.

After one final glance in the mirror, Sorren picked up his bag and left his dorm. He walked over to the main building and into the cafeteria for breakfast, it was fairly early so not many people were up and about. Sorren much preferred not having to interact with idiots than getting up a bit earlier, undeterred by the fact he wasn't a morning person. He just hated idiots a bit more than mornings.

As he pushed the doors to the cafeteria open, Sorren didn't take into account any of the few people whom were already in the cafeteria and eating their breakfast. There was no queue and so he sauntered straight to the front of the line, picking from the broad selection of breakfast food. Once done, he sat down on a table in the corner of the cafeteria and started to eat. Hoping to get a few moments peace before people began to pile into the room.

The night consisted of dancing, loud music, and getting drunk. The hours seemed to pass by the girls like second, and Azalea's room got trashed. Azalea had gotten the drunkest surprisingly, trying to drink her worries away from Keeper. At about 4 am the girls had passed out.

Azalea had slept right through the alarm, unfortunately Cat hadn't, and Azalea was awoken with Cat grabbing her shoulders and shaking her wildly. Azalea groaned, sinking further into her bed, while Cat was a morning person, Azalea was not, and slept as late as she could. The rest of the girls had left an hour before.

Azalea woke up hungover and grumpy, and became especially so when she found out what she'd lost.

"I wouldn't take it off. Not even drunk." Azalea said crossly as she did her makeup, Cat doing hers neck to her as they carefully did so, looking in the bathroom mirror.

"Are you sure? You could put it-"

"No. We already searched the entire room. It's not here." She said sharply, cutting her off as she finished up her makeup.

That morning consisted of her usual routine. She showered, dressed and did her makeup and hair. But it was also different, Cat and Azalea combed the room for her missing necklace, and cleaned it up to its original state. Azalea wanted nothing more then to crawl back in bed, knowing she'd have to face Keeper sooner or later. She preferred later. Azalea even attempted to crawl back into bed, but Cat dragged her out of it.

Azalea's room was kept to a certain cleanliness, other then her bathroom, which had makeup and stuff all over the counter. Her room didn't have much in it, it looked ready to pack and go in a moments notice, just as she liked it. Azalea was dragged out of her dorm unwillingly, feeling incredibly hungover.

As they walked through the campus, Cat couldn't help but ask questions. The light stung Azalea's eyes and she wished she'd brought sunglasses. Cat loved school events, especially dances.

"So... the homecoming dance is in a couple days."

"Brillant observation. Cat." Azalea said bitterly.

"Watcha gonna wear?" Cat persisted slyly.

"Not going." Azalea said, entering the slightly empty cafeteria behind a few other students.

"What?! You have to! You always go!" Cat cried, looking horrified.

Cat wasn't wrong. Azalea attended every dance. Even after Keeper and everything, Azalea couldn't help but continuing to love dancing.

"Well I'm not. Get Raisa to go with you." Azalea snapprf as they sat down at an empty table, Azalea choosing the less illuminated table.

"This is the hangover talking. I'll get you something to eat." Cat said stubbornly.

Azalea groaned at the thought of food. "Please don't." She complained. But Cat was already off. Azalea sighed, resting her head on the table, exhausted.

Cat ran off to get food, she noticed Sorren in the corner and waved, smiling brightly. Cat seemingly had no memory of Keeper or Kole, and didn't remember meeting him whatsoever. It worried Azalea. Cat fetched her food and brought it back to the table, Azalea ignored Cat as she droned on about her plans for homecoming, burying her face in her arms. Azalea winced as she pressed her head against her bruised wrist.

Sorren had sat for a while just enjoying the sweet sound of near silence, the obnoxiously loud students hadn't gotten up yet. So after finishing his food, Sorren sat in peaceful bliss, his mind began to drift to his sister. How he missed her despite her...difficult...attitude. How he already couldn't wait for the weekend, when the school was a bit more lax.

Just as he was about to pull out his phone, Sorren saw Cat smile and wave at him. He just about managed a half smile and a weak wave in return, it was still too early for him to be fully functional. As he looked up at Cat, he caught the figure of Azalea, burying her head into her arms. Rough night, he thought with a grin before returning his attention to his phone.

Sorren sent a text message to the group chat, consisting of him, Kalin, and Akira. It simply read.

Hurry up.

In reference to them meeting him at the cafeteria. Both Kalin and Akira were morning people but always took about half a decade to get ready so never got to breakfast early. Practically always on the verge of missing it actually. Sorren decided he would go and grace Azalea and Cat with the pleasure of his presence. He picked up his tray, cleaned it off, and placed it on the cleaning station before wandering over to where the pair were sitting.

Sorren knew just the thing to do to annoy Azalea. As he reached the table with quick movement, he raised his hands and slammed them down with a bang as he sat. "Good morning Cat", he said with a smirk, pretending to not acknowledge Azalea. Sorren began to tap the table, just trying to make as much sound as possible. "Are you excited for the homecoming dance?", he asked while still feigning obliviousness.

Pandora woke up and frowned when she realized that she wasn't in her comfortable bed back at home. Instead of that soft cloud, she was stuck laying on this piece of metal they called a bed. Quickly getting up, she went over to her small closet in the corner and picked out a blue "shirt" with a black leather jacket and a pair of jeans. She stopped suddenly when she felt that painful hunger pain occur. "Well dammit. Now I gotta eat the food here. Hope its good like it was last time,"she mumbled after she finished curling her hair and braiding one side of it. After she slipped on some black boots and a coating of red lipstick, she quickly made her way over to the cafeteria. Getting her usual salad and water, she sat down at a table by herself. Just the way she liked it and she tried her best ignoring the rest of the students that were there. When she looked at one girl in particular, she stopped for a few seconds. That girl looks quite familiar, she thought to herself. No im must be going crazy, she thought again. Pandora shook the girl out of her thoughts and resumed eating her food.

Azalea startled as Sorren banged on the table, nearly falling off from surprise. When Azalea saw Sorren sit she groaned. "No, Buzzkill Bob." Azalea groaned before burying her head into her arms. Then, Sorren began tapping on the table, it didn't take her long to figure out what he was doing and gritted her teeth, wanting to stop the noise from ringing in her ears, it hurt her head. She hated hangovers.

Cat snickered, catching on to what Sorren was doing. "Well," Cat began, in an obnoxiously loud voice. Azalea sat up, cringing and scowling. She clearly would not get any peace. "It's going great! And yes, I can't wait! I even helped decorate the dance, ya know." Cat said excitedly. Azalea rolled her eyes.

"But Az refuses to go." Cat said with a pout. "I think it's just the major hangover, she's just pissed cause her necklace was stolen last-"

"Shhh! Quiet! Shut up!" Azalea seethed, cutting her off. Her head screamed from all the noise.

Cat snickered before continuing in a loud voice, "What about you Sorren? Are you going to homecoming?" Cat asked, wiggling her eyebrows suggestively.

Azalea face palmed, annoyed to no end.

Just then, she felt a pair of eyes on her. Two years of being wary and constantly checking her back always made Azalea alert, and she turned-

and almost dropped her jaw.

There, at a table, was Pandora. Her former friend from two years ago, before everything. Azalea quickly turned around so her back was to Pandora. Yikes. She buried her head black in her arms. She was on the verge of breaking Sorren's fingers with his tapping, seething in her seat, Azalea gritted her teeth as they obnoxiously chattered.

When Pandora seen the girl's reaction her eyes widen a little bit and she stopped eating completely. Well, well. My instincts were correct. Well if it isn't the famous Azalea, she thought to herself letting a evil smile appear on her lips. Pandora got up and threw her trash away. Why not confront my old friend. I mean there's no harm in that right, she thought and walked over. She sat at a table, facing the girl. The evil grin still danced across her lips. "Hello Azalea. Its been a while since I seen you."she told the brown haired girl. "Now I know you seen me. But instead of saying hi, you ignored me. Is that a way to treat a friend of yours?"she asked, in a mocking tone of voice. Pandora was always like this growing up. Taunting, teasing, mysterious and evil. Nothing could change that. about her. Looking over at another female and male, she chuckled and looked back at her. "Well aren't you going to introduce me to your friends? Or should I say friend and boyfriend?"she asked, raising her eyebrow.

~Sorren Latrent~

Sorren couldn't stop his eyes from following Pandora as she walked into the cafeteria. Damn. He thought as he couldn't pull his gaze from her for a split second. Sorren hadn't seen her around before, he didn't know if she was new or if he simply was oblivious but she certainly dressed to make a statement.

Sorren let out a small laugh at Azalea's reaction to him purposely annoying her, and then Cat joining in. Sorren decided to step it up a notch by using his palms to tap a random beat onto the table. He wondered how much of this she could take. Sorren raised an eyebrow curiously as Cat mentioned Azalea's missing necklace, no way would she ever take it off. If he had to take a guess at where it was, some way, somehow, Keeper had managed to get it. Sorren just couldn't believe Azalea would simply lose something that seemed so sacred to her.

Sorren, himself, hadn't really thought about the homecoming dance. It wasn't really an event he considered important, not that he considered many school events important anyway but he just wasn't too bothered about it. Sorren rolled his eyes at Cat's suggestiveness, brushing it off. "I hadn't really thought about homecoming until I just brought it up to you" , Sorren began, "I'll probably end up going", he said with a shrug of his shoulders. Sorren would most likely go to the dance, it was something to do, and the drinks always ended up getting spiked; or the teachers just don't pay any attention to it, deeming it as unavoidable. "It's good that you aren't going", Sorren said while looking down at Azalea, "I would have advised against it anyway, as if I did end up going, I wouldn't want to shame you with my dancing prowess". Sorren teased with a grin, continuing to pesteringly tap the table. Sorren wasn't blind, he knew Azalea was the best dancer he had ever seen but poking at her pride was bound to be amusing.

Just then, he saw Pandora begin to walk over while wearing an evil grin. This can't be good, he thought as she reached the table and began to speak to Azalea as if she knew her. Sorren immediately stopped tapping on the table as she spoke, intrigued as to what she was saying, his eyes widening at the last comment. "No, we're just acquaintances", he said quickly with a cool smirk, he remembered Azalea mentioning that they weren't even 'pals'.

Azalea gritted her teeth further as Sorren just seemed to get louder and louder. "Riiiight. I bet you dance like brick." Azalea lamented with a smirk, amused as he tried to shake her pride, and she even considered going for a moment. But without her necklace, she'd be a sitting duck at the dance.

Azalea muttered something in Bulgarian, sounding irritated before sitting up, Pandora directly across from. Azalea cocked her head, and smirked a thin, cold, her eyes were as cold as ice and the air could've cracked around her.

"Awww, I didn't miss you one bit Pandora." Azalea said in a honey-sweet tone. Azalea's smirk grew colder as Pandora referred to Sorren as her boyfriend, she looked amused as Sorren quickly answered the question. "You can have him Pandora, since you still look completely alone." Azalea's sweet tone froze the air like ice. She had not always been cold, cruel, apathetic, or bitchy, unlike Pandora, she had changed.

Cat glanced back and forth between the two with raised eyebrows, glancing at Sorren with raised eyebrows.

Sorren Latrent - Amused.gif

~Sorren Latrent~

Sorren grinned in response to Azalea, a mischievous glint in his eye. "Bet you say?", he started as his grin began to widen, "How about you come to the dance with me and at the end of the dance you have to honestly say whether I 'danced like a brick'". Sorren made air quotations with his fingers before tilting his head sidewards, "If it's a yes, you win. If it's a no, I win. Loser owes the winner an undeniable favour". Truthfully, Sorren was using the bet as a subtle way of asking her to go to the dance with him, he couldn't bring himself to ask her outright, it just wasn't his type of thing. Plus, he didn't want to give Cat anymore ideas.

Sorren knew that Azalea would want her necklace back before her mind could be somewhat at ease so he hoped she would get it back before the dance; he felt this opportunity was one that he didn't want to miss. Sorren thought about if Azalea's stubbornness would cause her to lie just to win, if need be he could always ask Cat or Akira to mix up a quick truth serum for her to drink - he would even drink some to make it fair.

Sorren felt the slightest pang of pain at Azalea's comment, he didn't know why, but her practically saying Pandora could have him like he was charity to giveaway didn't sit right with him. It wasn't the actual words, it was from who's mouth they were spoken from that affected Sorren. Of course, he didn't show that though, maintaining his calm exterior. "I'm not yours to giveaway, darling", he said with a smirk but the words were laced with bitterness that he couldn't prevent. Sorren wondered if his heightened emotions were causing him to get ahead of himself.

The hybrid glanced over at Pandora and then back to Azalea, Sorren wanted to know what their history was. From Cat's reaction it looked like she wanted to know too.

~Azalea Silvers~

Azalea caught the mischievous glint in Sorren's dashing green eyes and his familiar grin widen like a fox would to lure its prey and internally groaned. Cat sat on the edge of her seat in earnest.

Oh no.

Azalea knew a challenge was coming up before he even uttered his words. Azalea was a bit taken aback by the offer. Azalea imagined herself in Sorren's arms, dancing. The thought made her giddy. Azalea then also imagined herself in Keeper's arms, and the thought made her nearly revolt. Her necklace kept Keeper away from the most part, she didn't know why, and didn't care to find out. But without it, Azalea was an open book. She didn't doubt Keeper would miss a dance.

Don't say yes. Don't say yes. Say no! N.O.

Azalea grinned slyly, as if she could ever turn down a challenge, especially with his comment of him being a better dancer. "Game on." Azalea said, smirking and staring at the table, his eyes were so intense Azalea actually feared she'd wither under his green eyes. Beside her, Cat grinned like a fox, excited as if she was a matchmaker of somesort and Azalea prepared herself for merciless teasing later.

Azalea felt a slight stab in the heart at the bitterness Sorren had tried to hide with a smirk, in his words. Azalea had not like uttering the words to Pandora about giving him up, her mouth tasted dry, but Azalea did what it took to win. Always. She was stubborn in that way. For a brief moment Azalea wondered if Sorren felt something for her, but she brushed it aside with a twist at her heart. She was too cold, too empty. It was better that way. When others knew you felt things, they also knew you could feel pain. Azalea would not anyone see she felt. Although she internally knew it was too late. Her pain didn't reflect in her face though however, still maintaining her cool, cold smirk and icy gaze on Pandora.

Charity sat there silently in a grassy spot near the schools front entrance. Her backpack sitting in front of her open and a notebook in her hands as she wrote stuff down. Cuba laying calmly behind her as she leaned back against his side. His massive breaths pushing her forward and back every time as she wrote quietly with a pen. After about three minuets cuba got horse and lifted his head looking at her as he shifted and pushed his massive nose against her side making her smile as she set her notebook down and looked to him as he groaned a little before he shifted again putting his massive front leg around her and pulled her down with a little help from her. Groaning and breathing softly as he gently rested his head onto her and just cuddled with her as she did her best to relax under the big bears head hopping no one was around to see her cuddling with cuba. She giggled softly as cuba pressed his nose into her side where she was ticklish while wolfing her legs down with his heavy paw

-Pandora Lockhart-

Pandora looked at Azalea, a hint of amusement in her eye. Her gaze flicked over to Sorren but then she shook her head. "No I think im better off being alone."she told the girl, chuckling a little. But as a succubus, I don't like boys holding me down, she thought to herself. "Besides, by your hidden expressions and emotions I can tell that you are just bound to fall for him. Or vise versa."she said, smiling. Pandora leaned against the cool metal of the table and fiddled with her fingers. "So Azalea, whats been going on since I vanished? Have things changed drastically?"she asked, smiling over at her.

@Bowa @Ms. Sparrow (Sorry for such a short post. Its really all I can write right now and I don't like adding pointless details just to make it look better. I will try to wrote some more when Im not in class)

Azalea snatched her bruised wrist under the table in spite of herself. She didn't need Pandora poking around, not that she cared naturally, but she knew the succubus. She smirked as Pandora declined her offer, as if to say. 'Of course you'd say that', looking amused. Her smirk smug grin grew wider as she suggested her and Sorren getting together, as if amused, although on the inside she felt her heart tear.

Azalea cocked her head at Pandora's question, smiling as if Pandora was serious or not.

Well I danced with a 200 year old psychopath for a year, resulting in the death of my family.

"Not at all." Azalea said sweetly, her sickly sweet smile becoming somewhat strained, gritting her teeth. She was feeling more and hungover. "And you Pandora? I'm sure you've been on lovely adventures. With many many guys. In the bed at least." Azalea said coolly with a smirk.

-Pandora Lockhart-

Pandora let out a chuckle, more booming then ever. Its more pleasure that you would get in a life time girly, she thought to herself. But Pandora knew better than to give her that satisfaction. "Adventures for me? Or more for them. Because they just ended up dead afterwards."she told the girl. Which was very true. She never quite seduce the men, more or less tease them and then kill them. Secretly she was just an ordinary virgin. She would never tell a single soul that though. Being a virgin succubus would be very embarrassing, especially for the family name. "Well then Azalea, lets chat for a while? I would love to catch up with the details. Hows your mom been?"she asked the girl, tilting her head a little bit in curious way. Surprisingly, she was being very genuine about that question. Their family had always been quite close, but their relations were drastically destroyed after the little "cheating" scandal.

"Speaking of details. You've changed quite a bit."she mumbled, looking over the girls appearance. "..For the better actually."she added looking at the girl.. Pandora would admit that. Her former friend did look rather beautiful.

~Sorren Latrent~

On the inside, Sorren sighed in relief that Azalea didn't deny him, that would have been rather embarrassing. He didn't realise he had tensed up slightly while waiting for her response, relaxing as she replied and wearing a grin; his eyes glancing over her  and then back up to her eyes, he was certainly going to enjoy the dance. Well as long as Keeper stayed away, his mind would always wonder back to him, Keeper was looming around just waiting to strike.

Sorren's eyes gazed over to Pandora as her eyes flicked to him and then returned to Azalea. "Better off alone, hmm", Sorren began in an amused tone, "Your loss", he joked with a shrug of his shoulders. The hybrid still wore a grin as she commented on him and Azalea falling for one another, he tittered, simply brushing over the idea - not wanting to dwell on it, he wasn't ready to confront his feelings for Azalea.

Sorren sat with his arms folded across his chest, watching the interaction between Pandora and Azalea. He couldn't help but let a snicker escape as they conversed, the obviously fake sincerity was definitely entertaining for an early morning. Oh shit. Sorren thought as Pandora mentioned Azalea's mother, he didn't know if she would be able to keep it together at the direct mention of her dead parent. Sorren placed a hand to his head and diverted his eyes to table, not wanting to see what kind of reaction Azalea had.

As Pandora made a statement about Azalea's appearance, Sorren's eyes lazily moved back to Azalea, he had to agree with Pandora's statement there. Sorren maybe kept his gaze on her a second too long, now that her beauty was mentioned, the temptation to admire it for a second was almost too strong. Azalea was incredibly attractive. Sorren's curiosity was piqued by the two, Sorren thought practically everybody from Azalea's past were dead. He considered asking about the history between them but resolved with the mention of Azalea's mother, it probably wouldn't be the best time to do so.

Azalea smiled, staring at the table as of it were the most interesting thing, and her finger swirled in random invisible patterns on the table. She wasn't surprised Pandora had killed, and took her word for. Azalea killed when necessary, only to cover her tracks. Azalea contemplated reading Pandora's mind to see her true opinions on her, but decided against it. She was too hungover to care.

Cat slid her a plate of toast and butter with a butter knife. Azalea spread the butter over the toast as  Pandora spoke. Azalea coolly smirked as Sorren silently snickered next to her. Azalea wanted to cringe as Pandora asked about her mother, but didn't. Instead, Azalea found herself stabbing the knife directly into the toast, leaving it an a upright position with a loud bang. She saw Sorren look away out of the corner of her eyes.

Azalea had been close with her mother, much closer then with her father, her eleven younger sisters were also closer to her mother. Azalea was a bit taken back by the undeserved compliment and looked up from her plate to see Pandora looking over her and she could feel Sorren's gaze on her from her side, resting on her for maybe a couple moments too long, Cat snickered on her other side. Azalea fought the urge to bury herself under the table. Sure, she'd been complemented multiple times on her looks, but from somebody she liked? That was a different story.

You don't like him.

Liar.

Azalea brushed her conflicting thoughts away. "You look good too." Azalea mumbled. She hated complimenting people. "As for my mother, she's dead. The illness took her." Azalea said flatly, her tone cold, her brown eyes darkening. Staring at her toast, the knife still in it. Her mother had been ill for years of course, even when her and Pandora's families were close...before the scandal. "And you're mother?" Azalea asked with curiosity, still staring at her plate.
