Passionately Curious
Sorren could feel his anger wanting to tip over the edge, wanting to let go of his inhibitions and just let his rage take over. He couldn't prevent his eyes from turning to the piercing amber of his hybrid form. To turn off his humanity would be a way to release his built up animosity. He hadn't felt like this ever since...that...Sorren's problems usually were dealt with on the spot or within mere moments; Keeper was proving to be a prolonged problem by his standards.
Sorren placed his hand above his head on the same tree in which he had carved into. He closed his eyes and began to focus on his breathing. Sorren just couldn't keep it together though, all his methods for calming down weren't here, he starting to tap the tree with his fist until he spun around in frustration and began to pace again. Times like these were when he hated to be a hybrid.
Heightened emotions were beneficial at times but when allowed to scale out of control could prove catastrophic. Usually, if he took extra care to, he could keep them under check and mask them from other people. Ever since Azalea used her ability on him, Sorren has had immense trouble regulating them though.
He paused and looked up at the darkening sky, his hands still fidgeting. Sorren had completely lost track of time in the cave, the school day had surely ended by now. He didn't care though, his mind was overtaken by a myriad of other things. Sorren's luminous eyes darted to Azalea as she spoke, they flicked to Cat whom was stirring behind her and then back. He froze for a second, looking her over, he had almost forgotten she was here due to his consuming enmity.
Sorren bit his lip, he could tell she had been crying, he had kind of hoped she was dealing with it better than him. Sorren took a step back as he gazed into her eyes, "Please don't come near me", he said in an almost pleading voice through gritted teeth. Sorren wanted to add I don't want to hurt you onto the sentence but couldn't manage it. Sorren twitched with anger, he couldn't calm down, the one person who had managed to calm him before wasn't here - he couldn't let Azalea take that risk.
