Fantasy Lifeweb Academy: School For The Magical

" Let's go." Amy said quickly, for some odd reason the wolf thing was making her uncomfortable. It made her nose feel all itchy and gross. Amy shook Alexa's hand.
Alexa nodded and quickly pulled Amy back to her room to the sight of her boxes filling the room. "Um would you rather be here and unpacking or just kind of chill here for a while?" She blushes.

Takia enjoyed the short and sweet dispute between Skye and Solbi. I think Skye won this one. He said before finishing his last taco. He grabbed his plate and threw it away,still chewing his food, to come back and drink his soda. He swallowed his food and looked at Solbi. Looks like your question has just been answered. He said with a slight grin. @Kazehana @Drakerus @Cruor Flumine

"Oh yay. I'm sure the great and powerful Skye hath won. It maketh total sense. But whatever geteth us out of here and investigating ist fine with me," she replied with very dry sarcasm. She was rather done with both of these idiots right now, but what was she going to do about it? Nothing. She shot Takia a warning glare to not mess with her, but doubted he would take it to heart anyway. Getting up, she stretched for a moment before returning her attention to Skye and Takia. "Whither ist it we goest first?" she inquired, for once interested in their opinions.

As she pondered places to go, she drifted off for a second or two. Should they try the library? That seemed like a place to hide some passageway behind a bookshelf or something. Maybe the boiler room? That was shifty. The basement in general? Probably. Come to think of it, what was in their basement anyway? It was a place to store and convert energy for use, was it not? Did that mean the lifeweb was down there? It sounded interesting, but she doubted they would be allowed to see it. When she came to, Skye was trying to leave, which made her panic a little on the inside. Creating an impromptu case around him with the snap of a finger, she didn't really plan out what she was doing. It was more of a reflex at this point. She looked over to the newly arisen case, looking at Skye's back through the shimmering barrier. "Nay. We needeth thee for the expedition. Thou art not going anywhere," she said in an only vaguely more emotional tone than normal. Though on the inside she was still panicking a little. As much as she wanted him to leave, she just couldn't bear the idea. So instead, she trapped him. Logic!

She looked at him blankly for a moment, vaguely trying to comprehend what just happened. Then it hit her, and she was immediately placed into awkwardness territory. "I just... Thou... 'Tis... Uhm..." She scrambled for words, but were unable to convey why she needed him to come along. The sheer embarrassment of being unable to produce an argument brought a red to her cheeks, faint but present. She had a lot of insults she could have given at that moment, but what he asked for was a compliment. If she couldn't give him one, he wouldn't go with. She shifted nervously as she tried to gain her composure, fidgeting this or that as she did. "Well, we needeth thy thievery skills. Just in case," she spattered out quickly. It wasn't much, but she figured it would do for the circumstances. Plus giving positive comments and admitting she needed help with anything was hard for her, so

Skye rolled his eyes. "I'm sure you do. Fine, I suppose I'll stick with you guys for now." He said. Skye could've sworn her face got a bit red again, but it must've been a trick of the eye. He sighed and tapped the barrier. "You can let this thing down now."

Letting out her pent up breath, she visibly relaxed and returned to her usual demeanor of complete neutrality and boredom. He requested to be let out of her little prison, but she debated whether or not that was a good idea. Then she realized that it was a horrible idea to keep him in there because he was 100% useless in there otherwise. Well he was useless outside of it, but still. She lowered the barrier, but not her guard. She wanted to make sure he didn't try to make a run for it because he was for some reason lying about his will to go with them. "Alright, whither goeth we now?" she asked once again, hoping to get a reasonable answer from someone this time. If no one else wanted to randomly go off on their own, they would finally be able to get on with it already. She was basically just itching to go right away without any further delays.

"Well I don't either! But I hath thought of a few ideas... Canst we find the basement? That might be a good place to start," she proposed, looking from one to another. Her eyes rested on Skye for no reason other than she had no idea what he was doing. She hovered over to him and looked at his wing, inspecting it for whatever it was he was brushing off. Was it like dust or something? Nothing seemed to be there now. How weird. She was probably looking too much into this, but her curiosity go the better of her anyway.

Aero

After Aero had 'wolfed' down his sandwich, he cleaned his hands with a napkin and wiped his mouth clean. "So, uh, what next?~" His ears wiggled and his tail picked up with excitement, wondering where this new friend of his would take him. The other people didn't seem too polite, but that might just be because he didn't know them very well.

She straightened back up, staring up defiantly at him. "I was making sure naught was wrong with thee. Thou needest to be in thy best condition, after all!" she said with conviction. She was making it clear that she wasn't doing it just for fun. It wasn't like her to do so. However, she made no effort to move away from him, so there's that. Instead, she opted to hold his gaze, almost pouting. She was beginning to think he was manipulating her, which explained a lot.

She scoffed, but never removed his face from her sight. "I am not worried! Thou art delusional about how important thou art. Typical egoist," she retorted, her eyes almost piercing his. She could have addressed the thing about Jeremy, but she didn't want to. It was a simple fact that Skye was giving her far more attention than Jeremy did. And that was a huge portion of what she was looking for in her prince, so she was beginning to think Jeremy might not be the prince she originally thought him to be. But she wasn't going to admit she was wrong ever!!

@Loser @Puppy @Guy

"Egoist? Nah, I'm just wondering what your true intentions are. Seemingly wooried about me, insisting on keeping me around, earlier...well, I'm sure you can guess what I think you really want." He said, a smirk on his face once again as he stared into her eyes, ignoring the glare.

It took a few seconds of thinking for her to figure out what he was talking about. And when she did figure it out, her face went from adamantly defiant to horror, the same faint red from earlier creeping up on her. She looked back and forth, slowly backing away. "I-I... 'Tis preposterous! Thou art vile and gross and so full of thyself and.." she never had time to finish, as her blind attempt to back out of the situation was interrupted by hitting a table. With no more room to flee the situation, she just kinda shrunk in embarrassment. She was still trying to convince herself that she didn't want him in her life, and now she would have to convince him too. Well this was just great wasn't it?

@Loser @Puppy @Guy

He watched her for a moment before sighing. "So here's my offer. I can leave now and cut ties with you so that you can stop being so damned distressed about it. Deal?" Skye asked. Of course he enjoyed teasing her, but even that had its limits and he hit them.

Maria Ann

After the chick and her friend left Maria sighed and finished eating her sandwich. Some people, staring just because they'd never seen a harpy before. Weirdos..you'd think they'd pick up a book. But apparently not. When Aero asked what to do next she shrugged. "Dunno. I mean, whatever that noise was probably isn't relevant by now. We could look around I guess?" She replied, gazing out of the window. It looked to be afternoon, probably 2PM by now. Ehhh...only a few more hours until they had to sleep for school. Hopefully they'd pass quickly.

She held a confused disposition for a moment, not sure as to where that particularly came from. Then she shook her head and moved away from the table. "Nay. Thou canst not get out of thy duties so easily," she responded. It was brief, but it got to the point of 'why' she wanted him to stay. In reality she wasn't going to let him leave regardless of his value to their mission, but she would rather give him a reasonable explanation such as this so he didn't get any more ideas. That wasn't to say he didn't have his own set of skills that could be useful, because he did. Who knows, he might just come in handy after all. But for now she just kinda wanted to look at his face. It was weird, but fun at the same time.

Skye smiled. "Well, if you say so Princess." He said, walking over to the table she bumped into and taking a seat. "Regardless, are we even supposed to go into the basement? That headmaster guy seemed pretty strong, I'd rather not get you guys caught either."

Solbi the Nimbi

For some reason, Solbi was rather relieved. Perhaps it was just because he was so obviously happy with her decision, which made her happy in turn. Not that she would ever let anyone else know that she was. To them, she wanted to seem indifferent to everything, though she wasn't particularly good at fooling anyone. She just had too many involuntary responses to seem completely neutral about any situation. Regardless, she carried on just the same. Her eyes followed Skye as she sat, and did just the same without thought. "Perchance not, but 'tis worth a shot, no? Besides, I never geteth caught," she said with a slight boast. While it was true that she was good at stealth, it wasn't because she had any skills in that field. It was mostly because she just entered a sister dimension to make it so she wasn't actually there. But hey, whatever works, right?

@Loser @Puppy @Guy

He shrugged. "We don't know the headmaster's tricks, but he doesn't know all of ours either. So if we do this, we must be very careful to not get caught." Truth be told, he was rather worried about the outcome, whether they find something or get caught. Or neither.
