May shakes her head. "Not entirely. I simply do not have many healers because there are few around who have been trained, that's all. It's not too much of an issue, most times, since there aren't many people around in general. "Damn!" Cursed Edward. Raina's distraction accidentally caused the privateer to pull the trigger. Fortunately, the bullet only grazed the teenager's cheek, drawing a modest amount of blood. Edward threw the used flintlock to Raina's feet. "I have nowhere to escape to? Oh please, woman. When you decided to sneak aboard the flagship of the black flags, you subconsciously signed your death warrant." Explained the captain in delight as he drew his two swords. "Don't you understand? The world is changing, Raina. Within the next couple centuries, your once remote, indigenous forest that are abundant with wildlife will soon be replaced with greedy tourist attractions and high-end resorts. All of the descendants of the animals that you have protected will be stuffed into cages and exhibits for the mindless eyes of children! I have seen what all our futures hold!" Yelled Edward. "If I take control of the Mist, I will be the most powerful of the triumvirate of privateers! If the European or Asian leaders got to us, then we wouldn't live to see the next spring!" Edward desperately explained. "What I fight for is the wellbeing of everyone on Earth who deserves it! What you fight for is a lost cause, Raina! And if you don't stand beside me, then you are against me!" By now, he has lost most of his sanity living in paranoia of the other privateer leaders finding this place. Edward swiftly did a 180 and took a hack at Raina's hip as the Isle leader fell to the floor. However, her recent injury only motivated her even more. In a split second, Raina stole one of Edward's daggers from his belt and stabbed him in the windpipe. Edward fell to his knees above Raina before rolling to the side. Within a few seconds, the pirate painfully removed the blade from his neck, blood spurting and all. "Raina..." Edward rasped. "I do not have m-must time left in this place of existence." He explained as he coughed up crimson liquid. "When I die, take the necklace from me and cremate my body." Shaw knew that this was where he was going to end the final chapter of his life. "I have seen the wonders and horrors of man. Soon, you will live in a world that you will not recognize. And the only way to prevent that is to destroy me. Raina, when you meet up with May, give her the necklace and tell her.." Edward paused before spitting out even more crimson before continuing. "T-tell her... that I still owe her 19 pounds... and I'm not paying it...." Edward did not speak any more words, but instead grabbed a holy hand grenade, pulled it's pin and clutched it to his chest. The bomb exploded, leaving the deck of the ship unharmed, but only leaving ashes, his tricorne and a wooden necklace with a sword design.
