Asha would perk up when the tall wyverian woman approached her at the canteen, Strix likewise regarding the stranger with a cautious stare until the Seikret was dismissed by a gentle pat on the top of the head by her rider. He made a grumbly chirp before returning to a peaceful snooze, likewise waiting for the assignment just as Asha was.
As the woman introduced herself, Asha noted that -
One: Her appearance fit her name quite well.
Two: She seemed at least enthusiastic enough compared to some members of Avis unit.
Three: She was very, very tall.
"I'm Asha, the grumpy bird below me is Strix." She introduced herself and her immediate company,
"As far as I know, Avis unit is lead by Theryx, the sad looking fella you may have already met. Tiziana is our lancer, she's a rookie like me, and Silvia..not sure on them. Oh, there's Raylyn as well..she's sort of on the younger side but I think she's with us."
She sighed, sure she was forgetting someone, and considering she had never met Raven prior to this moment despite her being in the same unit, she couldn't even be sure how many people were supposed to be in the unit.
"Quematrice..right.." This was the first she was hearing about their assignment - and she frankly had no idea. She had just gotten here, and the name didn't sound familiar. Should she know this? Where could she get the resources to study more prior to their expedition, but it's not like she had any prior warning or any information.
"Probably talk to Theryx..or the other tall wyverian around here..Doe I think they were called? I'm..pretty new, but I'm really good at what I do!"
