He watched the guy run off without a attempt to stop him from leaving with no more injuries if he had any at all. He didn't even give much thought about him retreating because all his attention event immediatly on his brother who was on the ground in pain probably but most likely not in as bad of a shape he would of been without the interference of those two. Honestly he nearly fell to his knees out of relief, his legs might of even gave out if he hadn't remebered how many people were there right now.

He blinked to clear his vision which was becoming unclear for...reasons out of his control. After he decided that he wouldn't look any kind of way he went over to him silently and squatted down to get a better look at what he wanted them to see "What is it....Artie?" it felt off saying that and he was hesitant to say it anyway. He was just testing out the water as they say. "A badge of some  sort? Whoever that was must be the owner." he didn't know antoine by the name engraved on it.

Alfred suddenly realized something. And then, spouted something angrily. "That bitch is probably who attacked Kiku! Damn asshole! I'll shoot a round in him next time I see his ugly mug."

Alfred hugged the Brit, looking at it. "Never fucking again dude. You aren't leaving camp without some back up. Almost lost matt, not losing you too. Let's head back. The storms kicking up."

"There were two of us and a gun," Arthur pointed out.  "In case you haven't noticed, there aren't exactly teams of bodyguards for hire on a desert island.  That was all the backup we were going to get."  But despite his grumbling over Alfred's reaction, he quickly returned the hug before turning to Joshua.

"My thoughts as well.  It could be a person, though I can't fathom why they'd be living here, of all places.  Or perhaps it's the island.  Can uninhabited places even have personifications?"  He turned the badge over in his hand, lifted it up to examine it closely.  "It's old.  Very old.  If this belongs to a human, it wasn't created for them."

His thoughts bounced back and forth between the badge and, oddly enough, his brother's new nickname for him.  He'd much prefer his full name - Artie just didn't sound very proper or dignified - but saying that might give the wrong impression that it wasn't the nickname he disliked, but Joshua.  And after what had just happened, that was the last thing he wanted to do.

He might not be saying it out loud to either nation, but their helping him had made him realize just how much he cared.

Alfred's exclamation, however, pulled him out of his reverie, reminding him about the eastern nation's state.  "Alfred, is Kiku... Is he alright?"

"H-He's at camp with the others."  Alfred reloaded the gun.

It wasn't too long of a walk back to camp, but hardly a pleasant one; the rain was still pouring down, and thunder rumbled warningly not far away.  However, Arthur's focus was far from the storm.  The last time he had seen Kiku, his friend had been soaking wet, unconcious, and covered in bandages; there was no guarantee he'd walk back into camp to good news.  He quickened his pace, anxious to get an answer as soon as possible.

Upon entering the clearing, Arthur didn't see Kiku anywhere, and deciding he must be in the cave, went inside to look.  The lighting was dim under the rocky overhand - the clouds and rain obscured most of the morning light as it was - but he could see Kiku propped up against the wall, and Ellen was there as well.

"How are you feeling?" He asked, noticing the nation seemed to be awake.

"Ellen, how badly is he hurt?"

"Ellen, how badly is he hurt?"

Kiku watched the rain as it fell. He was silent.

Kiku? That's the name of his Japanese friend? was one of his thoughts as he watched the two talk about how he was doing after the previous attack. Whitney  Zaroff? What kind of name is that? what he meant by ''what kind of'' name was it's origins. He could probably get better idea of what area this island was or the nationality of the assumed personafication. If this island was as barren of human life as it appeared the only thing that guy could be was one of them. That pretty much meant it was going to be hard to keep him down and close to impossible to kill him. He let them walk back as he continued thinking about the name. It was raining but it didn't make much of a difference because his clothing wasn't ever dry in the first place. He thought he would have no trouble finding his way back so he went to get Ireland like previously planned, leaving quickly as well in the opposite direction. She could hold her own just fine so he didn't need to worry about someone jumping her like they did England. Still this island seemed strong so he couldn't keep himself from worrying a little. She probably would be upset that she had to sit in the rain but so be it. Better than being dead.

"...Kiku?"  At his friend's silence, Arthur frowned, realizing something was amiss.  Kiku was generally a quiet person, but he wasn't silent.  "Say something.  Please."

Kiku jolted out of his memories, looking at arthur tiredly. "Yes?"

Raj hadn't said a word on the way back to camp , he didn't really know what to say , he had this feeling that the encounter they just had was not the last time they see this 'whitney zaroff'

Raj followed Arthur into the camp where all the countries had assembled , Arthur went straight to kiku who looked like he had taken a very bad beating , Raj couldn't help but think whether it was all his fault .

Raj looked at kiku with a sense of guilt in his eyes

"How did this happen ?"

"Oh, thank God," the Brit murmured under his breath, glad his friend was at least coherent.  He repeated his earlier question.  "How are you feeling?"

Kiku offered a shrug. "Tired. Beaten up. To put simply at least." Seeing Raj he sent an icy glare at him, looking back to the rain after.

For the first time since the shipwreck, Arthur's expression wasn't entirely angry when he turned his attention to Raj.  "We - I - got us lost after..." He glanced around at the other nations, deciding it was best not to mention their fight and how much it had escalated.  "After what happened.  Kiku was attacked while we were sleeping."  He flet a twinge of guilt, wondering if there was something he could have done, if he could have gotten them back to camp earlier.  But Arthur, like most of the nations, had been in trying situations before, and he knew that guilt wouldn't solve anything.  The only one responsible for this was Whitney, if that was actually his name.

Noticing that Raj looked just as he felt, Arthur attempted to reassure him.  After all, while they weren't exactly friends, Raj had helped drive off Whitney, and he owed him this at least.  "No one could have known about Whitney."

"We think that's the name of the bastard who attacked you," he explained to Kiku, realizing he wouldn't know about Whitney yet.  "He dropped some sort of badge with the name on it after Alfred, Josh, and Raj drove him off."

Kiku didn't respond to this. He'd turned a bit more pale, and ignored the two, focusing on the pounding inside his head.

This was the second time Kiku had seemed not to hear him, and no less concerning than the first.  Arthur waited for a moment in hopes that he'd respond, but when he got nothing, knelt beside his friend, taking notice of the pallor of his skin and how exhausted he looked.

He'd been with him for both the incident with the tiger and the river, Arthur reasoned, so he had a rough idea of what his injuries were.  If anything, it would be the wounds to his head that were causing the sudden spaciness, which signified a concussion.

"You didn't hit your head on a rock or anything while you were in the river, did you?" He asked, though he had a pretty good guess at the answer already.

"Maybe.. it's fuzzy."

"Maybe.. it's fuzzy."

Arthur swore under his breath, because that seemed as good as a 'yes'.  A lot of the nations had lived long enough to have some medical experience, so they were able to patch up wounds and deal with a broken bone or two, but a concussion wasn't that simple.  Whatever problems there were would have to heal on their own or not at all while they were on the island, and who knew when they'd return home?

At the very least, Arthur thought, he could try to determine how serious Kiku's possible concussion might be.

"Alright... How much do you remember since getting here?"  He was no expert, but he knew which questions to ask.

As soon as england walked in Ellen stood up and walked out of the cave not wanting to speak to him. She stood under a tree and watched raindrops hit the sand and soak into it.

Calf on the other hand stayed in the cave near kiku to keep him company. He knew how much pain kiku was going through and wanted to stay with him till it stopped hurting. Just like he had done when Ellen had lost her family,  the emotional pain was just as bad as physical pain. It demanded to be felt and remained for many years,  it still lingers in ellen head and heart but it was almost gone before this trip. Now it seems to be worse then ever , seeing how her family had moved on without her and seeing how her childhood best friend and brother acted like he hated and resented her.

Feliciano had sat down just outside the cave some time ago, letting Kiku rest once it seemed he was genuinely tired, not just on the verge of slipping back into unconsciousness from his injuries.  He wasn't used to just sitting and thinking, but after all that had happened in the past couple days, he was too exhausted to do much else and too worried to doze off again.

Soon after Alfred returned to camp with the three missing nations, Ellen had left the cave and taken refuge from the rain under a nearby tree, and before long, her expression seemed to sadden, prompting Feliciano to get to his feet and walk over to join her.

"Are you okay?  What's the matter?" he asked, as usual not waiting for an answer to one question before posing anohter.

"Im just worried about Kiku , i havent known him long be hes been so nice to me." Ellen tried to smile so feliciano would think shes okay but sge couldnt lie to him about her feelings and didn't smile.

"Italy your soaking wet, you should go into the cave with the others , ill do night watch tonight incase the attacker comes back"

Kiku started to stand up next to me.

Well.

He TRIED.

"Hey, Kiku. Lay back down. This isn't an anime, you cant just magically heal."

I'd pull him back down gently.

It didn't take long to find the Irish female who was still in the same place she was assigned to. She was soaked in water from being in the rain which seemed to leave her unaffected. She was way too busy trying to watch her own back to worry about a little water. Joshua approached her cautiously to avoid  getting punched in the nose by her because  she was surprised by him coming out of seemingly nowhere. "Ireland." He said, causing her to turn around in surprise. A look of relief crossed her face for a second but quickly it disappeared "Where's England?" She asked while searching for any sign of him. Joshua chuckled slightly at her words. He found it funny that the first thing that came out of her mouth was that of all things. Her on the other hand didn't seem to get what was so funny and she furrowed her thick eyebrows in annoyance. Her eyes shot daggers at him which didn't effect him at all but he quit laughing "At camp. I've got quite a bit to tell you." thunder could be heard and he added on "Let me explain everything as we walk back."

She still didn't get what amused him but she agreed and both started their way back to camp.

Arthur's frown deepened and he considered continuing his questioning, but from the short, tired responses the other nation was giving, he didn't think it'd do his friend much good.  "Well, whatever's the matter isn't going to resolve itself now," he muttered, more to himself than to Kiku.  "You ought to get some sleep."  He doubted rest would do much, but it was the only remedy they had at the moment.

Letting out an exhausted sigh himself, he got to his feet and made his way over to Gilbert.  "I'm not entirely sure, but he could have a concussion. Keep an eye on him, will you?  I'm going out for a moment.'  The cave was dark and stuffy and far too full of people to be comfortable; some fresh air was a welcoming thought to him.

"Me, too.  I mean, I know he's awake and all, but still, he looks hurt really bad and I've never seen him like this and I really hope that - "

It took Felicano a moment to register the latter part of what Ellen had said, and then finally noticed her morose expression.  Too morose.  Worry didn't look like that - genuine sadness did.

"...No, I can stay."  Whatever had upset her, at least she wouldn't be alone.
