Astrid just rested her head on his side “Kain I’m tried..” she mumbled just clutching onto him to emotionally overwhelmed with the bond trying to strengthen and her wolf so angry she was ready to end him

Eric startled blinking “I am..” he started to relax finally when she kissed his mark and just held her

Kain rumbled gently, picking her up in his arms. "Let's go get some sleep" He was ready to crash himself. He walked her to the bedroom, setting her down and crawling in beside her. He pulled her to his chest and rumbled again, this time talking to her wolf and trying to apologize that way.

Jay laughed a little. "We can feel emotions through the bond. Apparently no one told you that" She said as he held her.​

Astrid curled immediately back into him and sniffled “she’s gonna take a lot more than that..” she mumbled but slowly began drifting off as she held onto him

Eric sighed with a little grumble “I was trying to let it go. But no only things I learn was Kain messing ip stiff and what not to do

He nodded. "I know. She wants to rip my head off I'm sure" He said with a low sigh. He held on to her as his eyes closed.

Jaylin looked at him. "Hey, I'm still learning a lot about it too. We can learn together" She said, placing a hand on his cheek.​

Astrid just cuddled against his chest slowly drifting off from exhaustion. She was to emotionally and physically exhausted to be angry at him anymore.

Kain felt himself falling asleep, his fingers still running through her hair. He knew he still had to work on apologizing to her wolf.

She smiled at his hand on hers. "Sounds like a plan" She said with a smile.​

Astrid curled into his chest sleeping for a few hours until she finally began stirring

Eric just pulled her back into his chest with a playful hum “how to do you think they are doing..?”

Kain felt Astrid begin to stir, his eyes opening. "Hey" He said softly, his arms were still wrapped around her.

She snuggled into his chest when he pulled her back. "I don't know. If the last conversation was anything to go by, it could be going good or bad." She said with a soft sigh.​

Astrid blinked tiredly but mumbled just curling up more, upset. She couldn’t bring herself to pull away though

Eric sighed “I know…” he rubbed his face “I just want things to go back to normal. I miss my best friend even if he’s being a jerk..”

Kain sighed, looking down at her. "Still not talking to me. I understand, I wouldn't talk to me either" He said, but he wasn't moving anytime soon.

Astrid just snuggled in his arms “Kain I don’t know if I want to cuddle, punch you or just scream right now alright.”

Eric sighed and just held her but shifted his weight to pull her in tighter “they’ll come through this..”

He could only nod. "I deserve all three" He said. "I've been so inconsiderate and a horrible mate" He admitted, looking at her in his arms.

She snuggled in closer as he pulled her tighter. "I know"​

Astrid sniffled, clearly having been crying most of the night “don’t tempt her.. she’s still ready to bite you… why.. why didn’t you even try to fight for us..”

Eric just lay back “on a happier note what would you like to do…? Can you can’t pick just cuddle here.”

Kain swallowed. He didn't have an answer. "I didn't want to hurt you, and it seemed like you wanted me to by trying to get me to touch you." He said, looking down at her. "I wasn't trying to not fight for you, I was trying to give it time" He added.

Jaylin pouted, hearing him say she couldn't pick cuddling where they were. "Can we watch a movie in the rec room and cuddle there?" She asked, looking up at him with an innocent expression.​

Astrid just lay curled in his chest sniffling refusing to look at him “you weren’t fighting for us…” she mumbled. His fear of hurting her had left her to genuinely suffer alone, her wolf had been gone and he wouldn’t go near her. She’d been scared and all alone not even having a friend to turn to and any attempt at comfort was matched with pain.

Eric looked down at her and laughed “your to smart sometimes. If you want a movie I can put someone on in here if your prefer since you found the loop hole.”

He ran his fingers through her hair gently. "You're right. I was lost in my own head, and I didn't think my choice to stay away would end up hurting you more than my touch could've" He said. "I don't know what to do to make it right, but whatever you want from me, you'll have it no matter what" He added.

Jaylin smirked. "Its a blessing" She said with a playful grin. "As long as we watch it together, I don't care where we go" She laughed with a smile on her face.

Astrid just looked up at him with a sniffle but seemed to be slowly relaxing as he played with her hair “I don’t know..” her voice was soft and unsure of her own words

Eric chuckled leaning over to his nightstand and grabbed the tv remote and pulled up his movie list “pick anything you’d like.”

Kain sighed lightly. He leaned down and pressed a gentle kiss to the top of her head as he continued playing with her hair. "We have time love, I'm not leaving your side for a long time" He added, smiling down at her.

Jaylin looked through the movies and smiled. "How would you feel about watching Saw" She asked, looking at him.​

Astrid just curled into his chest but muttered "You ever to anything like that again and I'm letting her bite you." She just tiredly stayed tucked into him desperate for the contact and comfort the bond gave her

Eric shrugged "never seen it. You get to pick whatever you want, sounds like a horror movie." He just leaned back pulling her into his lap watching her decide

He had that coming for sure. “I understand completely. I’ll never leave you like I did” He said. He tightened his grip on her, keeping her tucked into him.

Jay looked at him. “It’s a pretty good horror movie. And you’ll love it” Or so she hoped, as he pulled her into his lap she found it and hit play. She snuggled back into his chest as it started. “It’s pretty gory just so you know” She said with a laugh.​

Astrid just lay against his chest letting their bond just slowly relax her but it wasn't hard to feel the pain still between them. He was going to have his work cut out for him.

Eric chuckled pulling her tighter to his chest "well its a good thing I have my own warrior for protection." He teased just settling in to watch curious, he thought he'd seen ads for it a while back but couldn't really remember.

The bond had been strengthened but there was still underlying pain. Kain was slowly realizing that leaving Astrid alone was not the best plan of action. He continued running a hand through her hair, and started humming gently. He had no song in his head, just humming a little melody his nanny had hummed for him.

She let out a chuckle, enjoying the contact as he pulled her tighter. “I’ll keep you safe don’t worry” She said playfully. The first scene had passed, and now they were getting into the main story.​

Astrid had slowly drifted off at some point with his humming. She was clearly exhausted from fighting for her wolf back, fighting her wolf and yelling at Kain that she was out like a rock

Eric just held her smiling softly to himself seeming almost more distracted by her than watching the movie. He finally just wrapped his arms around her torso and pulled her as close as he could so he could cuddle her and watch.

Kain smiled down at her in his lap. He adjusted himself so they were laying on the couch, her tight to his chest. His eyes were slowly drifting shut, all the worries of hurting her and realizing that he’d done worse by leaving her alone, had finally hit him. He couldn’t believe that he’d allowed himself to almost ruin the one thing he loved more than anything. He felt his eyes closing as he felt true relaxation.

She felt him pull her closer, arms over her torso. She leaned against his chest, enjoying the contact while watching the movie. She felt safe in his arms, her wolf was purring and so was she. The both of them enjoying being wrapped up in their mates embrace. The movie had started getting into the more graphic scenes and she was focused on it and on the feeling of being held by her mate.​

Astrid stirred groaning as she snuggled into his chest tighter while she and Kain had been getting along great since their bond had healed, her wolf was still holding a deep grudge and was refusing to even acknowledge him.

Eric was still out cold, his arms wrapped over Jay's torso keeping her tucked tightly to his chest as he mumbeld in his sleep
