Actually, I just researched it. Type effectiveness does not affect Substitute.

I....I don't think so. Substitute takes a chunk of the user's health, and that said chunk is the subs HP. It takes damage whether or not the user is immune to a certain type, at least that's how it works in the games.

Just against the others, Zak wouldn't last a second. But since he's a regular character amongst all the kings, veterans, supernaturals, and mutants, I feel kinda obligated for him to rise up and be someone important.....does that make sense?
