Hes actually probably gonna go from Pentos to kingslanding first to get a feel what going on and to meet Kuriva and swear drones loyalty ((no matter how temporary)) so he may be in kingslanding when he heards of the wedding.
Still would take at least another week to ride over to Casterly Rock from there. Not sure why he's doing that also. Ella's sworn to Kuvira already at the coronation...

I'm considering giving Egyll a younger brother who is a fierce, respected, honourable Knight of great-renown. Chivalrous, kind, fair, think a Frey Garlan Tyrell - just less skilled. He;d essentially be the Kevan to Egyll's Tywin, the second in command, and the only man Egyll trusts whole heartedly. I think he'd have a very solid run in the tourney, with a finalist run in the joust perhaps.
If you'd be interested in a character of the sort, it'd be pretty awesome. But if you make a Frey, I'd rather it be entirely how you want it. Since roleplaying is obviously better with a character you design yourself. :D

Cayden doesn't seem like the Jouster type, he'd probably exceptional leading a light cavalry skirmish or something, but as a Dornishmen and a Mercenary, heavy cavalry is very mush out of his comfort zone.
What would a Frey know of honour?

Because one way or another hes likely gonna replace Ella for obvious reasons (mostly OC reasons of Littlewolfe not being here but anyway.

You can say the same about the Lannisters, and these aren't the same Freys as the grumpy old bastard's giant house of Freys. I'll be more than willing to give them a fair chance to prove themselves one way or another. :P

I've always loved Kevan Lannister, he's such a minor guy in the story but from what we here he's pretty much a nicer version of Tywin, with the same brilliance and intelligence (If to a slightly lesser extent)

Plus I'll always remember him as the guy that so so good at being Hand of the King he got killed for it.

Probably right but his sense of balance is superb on a horse and he is used to long weapons. Not saying he would win, but along with some clever planning he might get somewhere thiugh if he excels anywhere its probably the melee or even archery

But then Dorne would've still pledge their loyalty to the current liege... you know what, if that makes you happy, go for it *shrug*

He's a pretty cool dude, I can imagine the younger version of him in Leon or something IC in this RP.

Haha, no mention of how he completely verbally murdered Cersei?

Kevan is a legend. If Tywin was the second born, Kevan would have been just as good as him as Lord Paramount.

The North have been remembering for like three books now, they should shut up and actually do something about it.

Oh no! Not Rhaegar, Symond and (I can't even remember his name) Frey, what will we do without them! It's not like we have hundred of other Freys running around or anything.

It's Jared, his name is Jared.

Fine reaffirming of loyalty even with change in leadership xD

Well there's that as well xD . I disagree about being just as good though. The Westerlands was in shambles when Tywin took over, and through sheer strength of will reunited the place and made it grow for the Lannisters in ways not seen for a few generations. Kevan wouldn't have had the steel nerve to wipe out House Reyne or House Tarbeck, probably sparing some of them and that would've come back to bite him in the ass later. He also wouldn't have taken advantage during Robert's Rebellion quite the same as Tywin; he's too nice of a guy. Kevan's a good second in command to be sure, but he wouldn't have brought the Lannisters to the heights it was in the beginning of the books like Tywin did.

Early days my friend.

I think a large part of Kevan's character comes from the fact he was a second born son, really it's impossible to say what would have happened but in reality it probably just been Tywin with a name change and Tywin would have been the nicer one.

Early days for the Freys too and if we're looking at their kill ratio I think the Freys are ahead.

True enough, Kevan could've easily bore the brunt of most "toothless lions" joke directed at him and all that's change are the names between the brothers. We'll probably never know what would've been different *shrug*

Yeah, I guess you're right with that, the Westerlands was falling apart and they basically needed someone genocidal like Tywin to stem the root of the corruption. Tywin was still - in my opinion - a horrific man, people seem to overlook how terrible his sack of King's Landing where, yet Dany and Walder are piled on for doing less horrific; but still terrible.

I think in this situation, Tywin was the better leader. But if the Westerlands were stable upon Tytos's death, with no Tarbeck/Reyne rebellion; Kevan would have likely performed on Tywin's level. Maybe better, due to his "love not fear" style. Kevan is more Tyrell than Lannister really.

Oh, he's done some horrible things ethically of course, but to Tywin it's all about opportunities, and he made the most out of all the ones he had been given. I can understand how terrible the sack of King's Landing was, but then again, I can't really blame him for hopping on the chance to do it. I won't say he's better or worse than Dany or Walder, just that he definitely was a very avid opportunist.

Honestly though, Tywin doesn't scare me. Walder Frey doesn't scare me. Hell Ramsey Snow doesn't scare me. You know who scares me the most out of all canon RP characters?

Euron Crow's Eye mofo Greyjoy. If by some chance all of my characters except for Nagito goes to shit, I'm making a calculative/crazy late entry Greyjoy into this RP.

Say what you want about Mace, but that episode is actual proof he is a legitimately good diplomat. Especially when the Banker dude whose name eludes me tried to say they don't take risks, and Mace basically said you always take risks.
