Amber had just finished practicing when she noticed a kind of familair face near the doorway. Having just finished her 12 hour practice she decided to go and investigate to see if she really knew that guy. She climbed down the ladder while holding her scythe in her right hand steadily.


When she got to the bottom she was suprised (as usual) to see the roof of the church barely standing up. Amber shrugged the worries off and walked through the doorway to see the familar face was AJ and another girl with bright pink hair sitting near him. Seeing as there was no escape from being social she assumed she had to talk.

"What's with the smile?"

Amber knew that probably sounded rude, but she didn't see much people who were like her smile (besides these guys) so she just assumed to ask about it.

He shifted his backpack, looking around.

"So how big is your group?" I ask walking next to him

He smirked.


"It's, uh, just me."

"Better than nothing, your not like him are you?" I ask getting paranoid

Melina smiled softly "Its good that you're all better" she said as she fixed her glasses a little "Shame you still eat people though... Ah well" she said before a girl came towards them and spoke. Melina blinked a few times, watching the girl in a curious manner.

Lucas couldn't just stay in this dumpster, he knew that he'd have to leave eventually. So he lifted the lid up, and hopped out onto the cold floor below. His heavy backpack only made it worse on him. Walking towards the alleyway's exit, he spotted a girl around his age walking with an older man. He shuddered, was that her? But she looked somewhat content with this man. Lucas wiped his eyes again, looking on at them curiously. Maybe these two were different people?

It was her, it was the girl he couldn't save. Lucas tried to smile at her while nodding, but his eyes were still watery. He reached in his backpack, and pulled out his student ID—revealing his identity to her. [Name: Lucas Salmires, Gender: Male, Height: 57.5", Age: 11] It read, he avoided her gaze. Guilt would tear him apart if her looked at her again.

I chuckle "so your the person who tried to save me" I can remember his voice "It's fine, he was armed and you had zombies around you..." I get a cheeky grin "You know your pretty cute right?" I say blushing

"Still I wish I could've..." he suddenly turned red, timidly looking her way "Wait! C-cute?!" he shuddered, nervously. He waved his hands in front of himself, embarrassed "I-I'm not cute!" he looked at her profile "You're much cuter than me" he muttered, quickly covering his mouth "I mean-!"
