Mutant Name: Magneto
Face Claim: Nikolaj Coster-Waldau
Mutant Abilities
Magnetokinesis- Erik has the ability to control and manipulate all forms of metal both Earth based and extraterrestrial, and thanks to his past and learning control, he can lift metals that weigh as heavy as astroids.
Magnetic Force Fields- He can create an electromagnetic force field that can withstand a direct hit from an atomic bomb
Magnetic Armor- Erik has woven metallic fibers into his wardrobe, at a moments notice he can expand these fibers and form an incredibly durable suit of armor
Gravity Reduction- By manipulating the Earth's Electromagnetic Field, Erik can in turn reduce his body's gravity and achieve flight
Micro-Magnetism- His power is so finely tuned that he can manipulate metal at the atomic level, and he can even detect metals in organic matter and do with them as he pleases
Energy Absorption- Magneto can absorb electromagnetic energies and redirect them in a concussive blast, if he aimed his fist at a mountain, he could take it out in one shot
Telepathic Resistance- Thanks to a stolen piece of Wakandian metal, Magneto can use that to form a helmet around himself and protect his mind from telepathic intrusion
Multilingual- Thanks to his longevity and his travels in seeking others like himself, Magneto can speak every living language, some better than others, but still
Biography- Erik has lived a long, harsh life, and can hardly remember his Jewish family before the Holocaust, but he had a mother, father and sister whom he loved. When he was a young boy and his family was taken to Aushwitz, the soldiers tried to separate him and family, and in his anguish his powers manifested and he killed a couple of guards, in retaliation the other guards killed his family before knocking him unconscious. When he awoke, he was in a padded cell and was being looked over by none other than Josef Mengelee, the Doctor who would go on torture thousands of innocent jews. With skillfull manipulation, Mengelee helped Erik learn about his powers through the torture of his fellow jews and political prisoners, it wasn't until the Magnetic Killing Machine was in his teen years that he had enough and he slaughtered his way to freedom, though it wouldn't last long as he was found in the woods by none other than HYDRA's Arnim Zola who turned him into what he is today, a mutant first and a killer of humans, no matter their views. It wasn't until the Vietnam War that he came into contact with those would later be a part of his brotherhood, as well as Xavier...
