Realistic or Modern Where the Werewolves Go

The wolf gets up to stand at his side, smiling at him. She likes that she made him laugh, it makes her feel good. Anna enjoys making others laugh as well, but due to her worries of being annoying to those around her, she isn't as relaxed about it. The wolf thinks on his words for a moment.
Pack bond I really want to meet the others! It's okay if Anna has to take over for that, I just can't wait!

She shakes herself off, and continues trying to get the blood off, more for Anna's benefit than her own. The wolf doesn't particularly mind it, but she can sense the human's social anxiety, and while slightly confused by it, doesn't like Anna being so nervous about this. Anna is glad that she's at least trying to give a good first impression, even though she doubts it'll make her look any less like a confused child.

It was such a good sight to see the shewolf is in high spirits. He adored how content she seemed in this very moment. He definitely wanted to spend more time with her. He'll have to make sure everyone in the pack will be aware of his intentions. Then again, everyone should know by now that the Alpha practically clings to new members of the pack when they start. He's not super clingy but in a way he is. It's how he shows his affection without being physical. "Mm." the wolf made a sound of approval with his throat followed by a quick nod. Already on his four paws, he expected her to follow him as the wolf began the trek back home. His shoulders blades weaved up and down left and right as his hips seemed to sway with his body. It was almost a lazy way of walking, like a stroll. His tail hung back behind him as he listened to the shewolf. He hoped she would follow him, Anna has always been a fast learner. If she's okay with it, then it's time to start their journey back home and it would be then that he would teach her how to shift. But for now, it doesn't hurt to bond with her and ensure that feels comfortable now. The wolf chuckled in the pack bond, she would be able to hear it in her head, and if she caught up to him, she may see the smile that moved his whiskers upward as well.

Pack Bond Good, good. Everyone in the pack should know you're a pack member by now, we've been looking forward to this day. I was hoping your human would want the bite. It makes things so much easier to be in the pack and be a part of us. We can begin your shifting lesson when we reach the Bath House. But remember, we won't step foot..er rather, paw, in the open. So we'll shift in the trees before we get you in the cabin.

The Wolf pads at his side, glad that they aren’t running like before. It’ll give her some time to try and neaten up some more. She listens to him as they walk, vibrant blue eyes glancing over at him every so often to show that she’s paying him the attention he’s due as her alpha.

Pack Bond That sounds good! Oh! Anna wants to know if there’s a plan for the human rangers being outside. She doesn’t want anyone to see her naked. I don’t get why, but she says it’s important.

She says, still trying to figure out why that would be a problem. She walks with a slightly bouncy gait, while trying to pull some burrs out of her chest fur. She’s very excited to meet the rest of the pack. Maybe they’ll want to play! She certainly wants to play.

Logan grumbled a little when Alpha's words echoed into his head, not being known for his patience per say. Not that he blamed the wolf, he'd rather Anna and her wolf be thoroughly inducted than answer a million questions later or potentially have an incident. Logan heard the footsteps coming from behind, eventually catching onto who it was by scent before she came into view whilst heading for the clipboard. The man let out a small chuckle as she complained about the lack of sunscreen, "Not about the heat, but the exposure." Logan started walking backwards, towards the station. "I don't know about you guys but I don't feel like waiting around for Alpha to finish up with the new girl, so I'm going to start getting my stuff settled." He gave the pair a quick wink before turning on his heel to face away from them and start heading towards the parking area.

Once he arrived at the truck he opened the backdoor and reached in to grab a medium sized heavy suitcase. Logan packed light frankly, he'd given up his apartment and boxed up the rest of his belongings and stored them at his parents home in town. With his belongings in hand he started back down the path and across the open area towards the cabins, peering at the others by the fire-pit as he did. Logan had an idea of which cabin he planned to set up in, not that he didn't doubt Chief might have a different system in place. If he got moved around then so be it, otherwise he was taking the one in the best condition to his knowledge. Logan had been in and out of most of them a number of times over the years, visiting pack members while he was helping out and the such. With this he knew of a few...not so great additions to some. Like the fact that the cabin closest to the station had a leak in the roof near one of the back corners, it wasn't a terrible one but enough so that he didn't want to deal with it. Nope, Logan was taking the one furthest from the station because as far as he knew there were no such downsides to it. Stepping into the slightly stuffy cabin Logan opted the leave the front door open, laying his suitcase on the bed before taking a look around to make sure.

Once again, a snicker bubbled in his throat at her words. He wasn't making fun of her of course, he found the very thought to be entertaining and rather adorable. So it seems the human Ana is very shy of her body. He can respect that. Meanwhile it seems Ana's wolf seemed highly confident in her body, and even found it normal. Which is true. Growing up with werewolves, it's very normal to show your nudity with confidence. And Ana's wolf seem to wear confidence proudly. As they walked, he looked over at her every so often when she responded. Alpha nodded with understanding in his eyes, looking ahead of him to make sure he knew where they were going. Hopefully Ana's wolf would be able to tell that there was a strong scent of the territory wherever they went. Had they been outside of the territory there would have been a different strong smell. Unfamiliar. This was good practice for her, however, he wasn't openly pointing things out quite yet. Today was purely an introduction day. Perhaps another day they'll spend the time to explore her senses and her skills.

The golden shewolf's blue eyes were vibrant every time he had the chance to glance at them. There was something in her eyes that told him just how excited she is, and he hoped Ana is in the same boat as her. He wondered how her human was feeling, but he hasn't felt any doubt that Ana would regret this choice. She's been wanting this ever since she discovered Logan's truth. Alpha had no worries with her, he appreciated her excitement. It made him smile warmly as they padded down the trail. They'd eventually slow down, approaching the end of the treeline that wrapped around the territory. New scents would drift into their noses. He half expected her to point them out, or maybe she'll keep it to herself. But the important thing to focus on were the cabins. In front of them, Alpha could see the Bath House from here, nestled with the other cabins. They were still hidden from the trees. Luckily for them, nobody seemed to be out and about, save for the members of the pack. His eyes spotted Logan heading towards a cabin. "Hm." He hummed, wondering what he was doing, he thought he was at the firepit. Maybe he was and wasn't patient enough to wait. Sounds like him. His eyes rolled to the pit, noticing Ren and Jen waiting for them. Ahh, Jen. It was good to see her again. An ear flickered at the top of his head, he could hear the conversation from here but his focal point had been the new golden wolf next to him.

Sitting down, he looked over at Anna with a warm smile that wrapped around his muzzle. Giving a nod to confirm her question, the alpha's voice slipped into her head once again. He knew Ana was always smart, it's no wonder she would think that there is a plan in the first place. In fact, thanks to Logan being nearby, he already had a plan mapped out in his head. Perfect timing.

Pack Bond Yes. There is. I'll call a few people over to make sure nobody is looking in our direction. But for now, you're safe here to practice your shifting. Would you like to learn, little one.

Anna’s wolf walks along at his side, sniffing the air curiously as they come close to the camp. Her tail waves a bit as she sees the others, and it’s all she can do not to run forward to meet them like an overly excited dog. She sits down, forcing herself to obey what Alpha and Anna have told her. She mustn’t enter the camp.

She looks over at Chief at his words, returning his smile with her own, slightly goofy one.
Pack Bond That sounds great! Anna really wants to practice too, she feels really weird.

The Wolf replies to him, thumping her gold and brown tail on the ground happily.

Elliot stood in the empty and dark flat in the early hours of the morning. Bags packed and few belongings he couldn't bare to separate himself from all stowed in his SUV, waiting for him. For years the flat had been filled with love and laughter. His father and he shared it for his whole life in New York but the man had never been one for company leaving it up to Elle to fill and boy he did. Years of having friends practically living with them, parties. Good times and bad; all through high school - hell they even hosted the graduates after party for the Arts from his private school. It was no different through medical school, though less parties and more impromptu twenty-four hour study sessions. And then there was Trey. The thought of him was bittersweet. Trey had been the love of his life - or so he had thought. In the final years of Columbia Trey had moved in with him and his father; Mr. Parson hardly aware of the human among them, he was always at work.

With a final nod Elle turned and closed the door behind him, wishing the new owners as many years of happiness he had within the walls.

***
Hours of driving through the country side lead Elliot to a small town to fill the fuel on his SUV - not nearly as fuel efficient as the salesmen had boasted - to be fair, Elle hadn't been looking for something to save him a few bucks but something he enjoyed looking at and was as unique as he was. He paid in cash in the small corner store picking up a homemade sandwich and a bottle of coke before hitting the road once more. He continued on, further and father away from civilization until his GPS indicated him to turn off down the gravel and dirt path towards the Ranger's Station. He pulled in along side the other vehicles, an old truck and a motorcycle, he knew belonged to others of the pack. Turning off the music, he stepped out of the vehicle and collected his jacket and baseball cap from the passenger seat. Pulling the jacket and buttoning up the two buttons, he placed his red cap on his head and headed towards the building.

There was no sign of anyone within, any scents of activity hours old but he soon picked up voices in the distance. Making his way around the side of the Ranger Station Elliot spotted what he head heard; Ren and Jen seated by the fire pit. He grinned and jogged towards them both. "Hey," he waved as he neared. "Sorry I'm late. Did I miss anything?"

Jen turned towards the familiar voice sounding just behind her, using a hand to shade her eyes from the Sun as she looked up at the figure.
"Oh hey Elle", Jen greeted, granting him a warm smile, "Its good to see you. Though to answer your question, no, you haven't missed much", Jen then grabbed the clipboard on the grass beside her and stood up, walking over to Elle to hand him the clipboard.
"Chief's currently out right now", she continued, giving a head nod in the direction of the woods, "I believe he's with Anna, getting some things situated, but he should be back any moment", Jen outstretched the hand that held the clipboard towards Elle, indicating for him to take it, "In the mean time, Chief has asked us to sign the clipboard, and, well, tend to our own devices while we wait".

Elliot had been thankful to Chief for allowing him to return to New York the day before to settle some affairs; he didn't doubt that the Alpha would allow it - his nature had always been kind hearted so far as Elle had known him. He still felt a thread of guilt leaving after their training had finished but before he could fully immerse himself into the pack and environment but he vowed to do so now.

Elle smiled to Jen as she handed over the clipboard, he reached for it, his eyes drifting to the woods behind where she indicated the Alpha was for the time being. "Good." He said with a slight sigh of relief. "I didn't want to be too late getting back today." He quickly scribbled his initials on the sheet before setting it back down aside the burnt out fire. "I'm going to go toss some things into my cabin, you want to go for a run afterwards?"

Ren looked up from where he sat and gave Elle a wave before standing to do a small check around the perimeter. He silently cursed himself for his attire, wearing a long sleeve shirt wasn't the best thing to wear when he knew he would be outside for a while.

Seeing Logan leave earlier Ren figured that his inpatients was getting the best of him as he went to find a building he was going to reside in. Roughly scratching the back of his head, Ren stopped at a tree stump when he picked up on a familiar scent. It was of the new girl Anna and a slight Alpha. Ren had found put the hard way last year that Alpha was excellent at masking his scent whenever they went out the train. Ren chuckled lightly at the memory and rubbed his neck before continuing his check.

Looking around Ren could tell they were close to camp but couldn't see them, well almost.

(Okay, so a time skip is in order! Just a small one though. Chief has gathered the werewolves of the pack together, Anna has had her shower, and they’re gonna introduce her as a new wolf. Obviously Logan new her previously, but I’m not sure what you guys want to do with everyone else. I’ll leave that up to you guys!)

Anna looks at herself in the mirror, satisfied that her thorough brushing of her hair and teeth has gotten any remnants of the fawn out of her teeth, and burrs out of her hair. She looks decent. She’s changed into her new ranger uniform, her old one shredded beyond repair, and she’s wearing her mother’s ashes around her neck again.

She closes her eyes, groaning softly at her wolf pestering her. While Anna is very focused on first impressions, her wolf seems more interested in seeing if anyone wants to play with her. They have very different priorities.

Anna turns, and goes to leave the house, her wolf cheering excitedly to meet the rest of the pack. Anna walks out to the fire, where she knows they’ll be gathered.

It is time to welcome their new pack mate. Everyone in the pack was invited to join him. It's an honor to welcome a new wolf. This has always been one of his most favorite traditions being an alpha: welcoming a new family member. This is his family. This is where everyone should learn how to be in a pack. A proud grin settled on the old timer. If he had wrinkles they'd be bunched around his eyes as the alpha waited for her at the campfire. It had been a few days since Anna has been bitten. Everyone should be arriving (or already arrived) at the campfire. It was lit with a few logs leaned against each other. His thumbs tucked in the belt loops of his waistline. His arms seemed very relaxed but the posture he held was obvious that he was expecting something big to happen. Deep down, he wondered how Logan was coping. Since he was the one who exposed their kind to Anna after all. He seemed to be doing well. And all the new rangers seemed to be settling in just fine in their new cabins. Everything was perfect. What could go wrong? Chief waited for Anna to arrive at her own Welcome Event. He remained silent. And ever so patient while he stood next to the firepit, eyes fixed on Anna's apartment. The human rangers were sent to guide a couple of visitors on a tour so they could have their own private meeting outside with no inklings of suspicion. Chief planned this very carefully.

Anna walks out to the campfire, her bright blue green eyes looking around at the gathered wolves. Oh, she’s trying so very hard to contain her emotions. Her wolf is bouncing around in her mind, taking in everyone’s scents and appearances. If Chief hadn’t made it clear that she couldn’t shift in camp, her wolf definitely would have taken over by now.

Anna walks to Chief, taking a deep breath, and smiling at him. She knows he likes to do things a specific way, so she’ll wait on him before trying to introduce herself. Which annoys her impulsive wolf to high heaven.
