The funny thing is that Alyx actually would have a lot of information about Astrid because Eldergaardians are very comfortable in their bodies and are pretty relaxed around friends and loved ones, so Astrid has definitely stripped in front of Alyx before and Alyx was like, "WOT ARE YOU DOING" because vampire culture is not that way at all. Astrid KNEW they were friends when Alyx got silver shrapnel all across her chest and she REFUSED to let the ship's healer touch her and said that no one but the captain could pull out the silver.

Gigi thought they both seemed to be pining, which was why she was thinking maybe they were both just very stupid and hadn't told the other how they felt? she honestly wasn't sure what was going on there and had decided not to say anything which was VERY mature of her

(though she absolutely would have brought it up if she felt making them uncomfortable about it could further her goals- she just wasn't going to bring it up soley for the sake of being a pest)
