the idea of gigi and alyx being captured by the military trio is hilarious because

-maskim and alyx have vaguely similar goals (except alyx has updated hers and hasn't been able to share that) BUT they act like they hate each other

-maskim and lanea pretend to be on the same side and have the same goals.... Which they actually do, but of course they dont know that

-gigi doesnt trust any of these assholes

the people who hate each other are secretly rooting for the other, the people who are accepted to be allies are (needlessly) hoping to sabotage the other.... the dumbassery of it all, i love it

I kinda like the idea of 1 because then we have everyone trying to navigate that while being watched by a ticked-off admiral

Like, Maksim wants to not take Alyx back with them BUT he's pretty sure Lanea doesn't give a flip about her and doesn't want him telling the admiral he let her go BUT ALSO he knows she'll help the princess escape again so he is torn

Alyx is probs gonna offer to go in exchange for Astrid's and Leo's safety because, well you know how she be and Maksim is just going to scream

Also when Alyx lies there in the cell like "let me die" Maksim is going to be SO FREAKED OUT because she's obviously planning something BIG she doesn't give up WHAT IS HAPPENING

Yeah, like for one I was thinking they’d go back to their ships and Lanea would be working to get Gigi to the spot where he usually meets Rose, which is located in one of the sleazier red light districts in one of Eldergaard’s less fortunate cities. One of the places where military men usually go to get cheap booze and prostitutes and that sort of thing.

And yes I like one too! It also lets me introduce Petra sooner or later and I love her, even if she will NOT be on board with this lol.

Also does this mean they're going to have to fix the Nighthawk? Astrid will be so excited but also will insist they don't need an engine because they have her and she can get them there FASTER

And Cyn, Rose, and Leo are going to have to remind her that she can't do that 24/7

Also, if Lanea wants to try to talk to Gigi, you can assume Maksim marched Alyx past the cells and into the "interrogation" room. But if you listen *really* closely, it definitely sounds like he's doing all the ranting and she's not saying much.

Lanea’s Life is always difficult.

He knows Alyx and Maksim are engaged but ALSO he half-thinks Maksim sold out to the military which is why he was like ‘man I hope he doesn’t hurt her’ which is hilarious because if he had taken Alyx Maksim would likely have thought the same thing.

Poor Lanea

Maksim is legitimately panicking because he thinks Lanea is going to torture Alyx and he's like, "maybe if I used my magic on him I can stop him???" but he figures, if nothing else, as long as he breaks Alyx out of her funk she'll be able to at least not tell Lanea anything about her friends.

Alyx was genuinely concerned Lanea might do that because he’s always been polite to her so he can’t be all bad. She knew she shouldn’t have gone with Maksim’s idea because all his ideas are stupid but she couldn’t think of a better one

Alyx will sit up and start yelling at them both if Lanea tries to drown her dumbass fiancé.

Lanea is probably the one vampire who is the closest eldergaardians have to like. An actual doctor, which is so ironic, but if you torture people you need to know how to keep them alive, magic or not!

I’m down for whatever you want Freddy to be doing! If you want him to pester Maksim about his sister or something, go for it! Maksim will probs go check to make sure all his vampires are back and then go hunt down some food for the prisoners.

so if Lanea could describe them- it would perhaps go a decent way towards convincing Gigi that he is indeed.... 'rose's man' as it were

yeah, his tattoos were covered up. Lanea is going to stress over what to say because he knows MANY things about Rose but most of them are not PROFESSIONAL things and he can’t just say that.

"They need some work" is about the biggest complement Alyx will *ever* give Gigi on her plans, lol

Also Maksim secretly likes when Freddy follows him around and talks to him, but he would NEVER admit it. Freddy can probably tell because Maksim just kinda starts chattering about this thing or that thing he's annoyed about or pleased with or the new fledgling or the sick one, etc., etc.
