Just thought I'd throw this out here while you were getting acquainted with the setting lore.

Obviously, the big golden one in the back is the Unconquered Sun. The four arms and four items he holds are related to the four virtues. If you want to play off of that for your visions, it might give you some ideas. There's a lot of cool additional tidbits in the Glories of the Unconquered Sun book. I think the blurb about his subordinate that pilots the daystar is in there as well. Fun stuff if you're into that sort of thing.

Of those pictured, There is the Sun, one of Luna's shapes, and Gaia in the back. Then from left to right, Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, and Saturn. The Maidens of Journeys, Serenity, Battles, Secrets, and Endings respectively. Just like Glories of the Most High: Unconquered Sun, there are two other books related to Luna and the Maidens with additional goodies for their chosen.

Also... the noble titles... finally got things straightened out. Had to abandon the notion of integrating the old Shogunate structure of the Seventh Legion. It was causing too many headaches to wrap my head around. So I stuck to more generic titles overall, outside a couple fancy titles for Exalted. For Ragnar this means his title is Lord Marshal per my original draft.

Sherwood Sherwood since it's been posted after the giant wall of governance... You mind the assumption that our Terrestrial vassals were given first pick of Jade Arms and Armor before they get sealed in the treasury? I'd also like to know what's left so I can keep better track of this stuff.

Thanks! And I kept thinking The Sun was female for some reason.

And that does sound like it would be fun to play off of. I'm definitely going to have to do some research on the first age and the Unconquered sun. As I decipher who Ragnar was in the first age, I will definitely be turning my eye towards that book. I'm hoping to learn more about him as I roleplay, and as I learn more about the lore and setting, the culmination will be an appropriate and epic past to live up to.

And I will admit that Lord Marshall does make it sound like I am less likely to plunder the gold and women of my enemies than Warlord. And it's easier to gauge comparative rank. And thank goodness, cause I was sort of guessing on the military ranks I was throwing about.

"Voice that Whispers From the Heart of Darkness - a Abyssal assassin that tried to kill Darian before being reformed."

Can I assume from this that she's a Day Caste?

Sirocco's doing over the nine-months time skip:

While Sirocco alternately flirted and ignored, or hurt Heaven's feelings, she feels a strong bond with him (Solar Bond 5), and it hurts her to see him hurt. Also, she has long promised him to study Sorcery, and has been negligent in her studies.
Her first order of business would be to go to him, and make amends, learning from him, thereby increasing her Intelligence, Occult, and learning Sorcery. In the course of their close studies, and as part of her learning Sorcery, she will realize that she doesn't need to be overly protective of him, and that while she values her freedom greatly, she can enjoy some freedom, even in a relationship. And will 'seduce' him, and conceive a child. She is now 8 months pregnant.
She will also spend time with Heaven to assist and inspire him in his studies.

Sirocco will go to Aredin and Darian, and request that she be given the privilege, and duty, to clear Rathess, and start the work of restoring it, while coordinating with the three goddesses, and the Dragon Kings, to turn it into a cohesive place, and one that can be built upon, and that can be used to start restoring the Dragon King population.
She will also use this time to finish mastering the Dagger Wind Style.

Knowing that there are Dragon Kings in other remote locales, Sirocco will reestablish contact with K'rr'cheek, the pterok who helped her recover after her Exaltation, and possibly make contacts with other Dragon Kings in other places. To better do so, she will improve relations with the Dragon King goddess, and enlist her aid.

I just want to stress, Aredin will want to be present for a meeting with Ma-Ha-Suchi. It is his top priority in the foreign relations department, Lookshy and the Guild are far below that given how critical his cooperation is for future efforts. Given his skill in the social sphere, approaching him as a team seems wise.

Also, Rykon Rykon you can let your friend know that the other person that was considering joining in has decided to bow out. I am willing to take him/her on.

Full disclosure, this is my buddy that played Aredin's twin in a previous game, and he wishes to reprise that role. This will be a very interesting beginning to the next adventure.

Interesting. What Caste/kind of Exalt is this person looking at?

He's definitely wanting to play a Solar. He's currently thinking of making a Night Caste "Demon Hunter", Melee oriented. Basically he would be a combatant that takes charms for fighting spirits.

Yes. Sorry about the referral Sherwood, I think she had gotten a little overwhelmed. I'm sorry about the effort you put in to help.

Another Solar. Ok, I can roll with this. Does your friend know the system well? Does he need help making up a sheet?

Its ok. I like making characters. Its fun. So no worries.

I know him in real life and we've played it before in person, both 2nd and 3rd edition. So he's at least familiar with the flow of things.

And a demon hunter sounds cool! Between him and Ragnar there wont be a single threat that they can't vanquish!

I have suggested to him the following as favored abilities

Melee - basic necessity
Resistance - basic necessity
Occult - Seeing and injuring spirits
Lore - Knowing the enemy and affecting the Wyld (given personal backstory of the Lentier Twins)
Survival - Hunting the enemy

Welcome to the game. Has Rykon filled you in on the details of what's going on?

Cool deal. If you have any questions for me, feel free to ask. I am always available to help out.

I have thoroughly enjoyed myself with the game so far, and the next arc should prove to be a blast. I look forward to seeing your contribution to the hijinks.
