Fantasy Through The Portal

Shin was surprised when he fell and began running but he couldn’t push the plate back. "I get it I need the adrenaline to use to boost at the same time." So far he had only used one at a time. He almost fell but remembered a moment when he spared with sis. He missed and attack and got a jab to the face he then complained that he'll never beat her so why try. She then gave him a Chopping Right to the face cutting the area above his eye giving him his scar. "Shin if you ever tell me something is impossible or you give up or fail without going 100% next time I'll send you straight to hell!" Shin heard those words echo and ran faster pushing the weight back until he pushed it out of the hole.

Leoch discreetly sighed and ruffled through the rucksack, adding a few of his own items before slinging it over his shoulder. "I'm sure your rugged looks and unbelievably good charm will win over even the most prickly of monsters, Talim," he said dryly, using the Elvish honorific in a sarcastic manner. A thought occurred to him. "Have you actually ever fought one of these creatures before?" he inquired. He was half-convinced that the man was simply acting on foolish bravado.

Kenshi said "Good now again." He created another 10 ton metal plate and this time threw it at Shin to knock him back onto the slope.

Dragna replied "Yes, I have encounter one or rather many cloaked in black with white masks. These ones relied more on finesse then what my brother told me you guys faced. If we move fast enough we could by chance intercept the ones my brother fought." He lead Leoch to edge of the estate island and to a boat banked on the small shore. He then pushed it into the water and gestured for Leoch to get in the boat.

Leoch warily got into the boat, keeping a cautious eye on the water. "Well, then let's hope we meet the same type of creatures," he said. He wasn't comfortable leaving so much to chance, but they didn't seem to have much of a choice. The dark beings seemed to be spreading quickly, and if they weren't stopped, they would eventually reach the elven cities. Leoch considered the thought, with pride, that the elves, in all of their military might and brilliance, would be ready for any attacks. Heck, such a potential catastrophe might wake up the higher-ups from their inaction.

Leoch suddenly stopped. The thought had troubled him, so he attempted to quash it from his mind, but it still lingered at the back of his head.

Azalea frowned at Kenshi. "It's fire. I can't make it solid." She raised an eyebrow. "I can shape it and move it and bend it to my will, but this is about as concentrated as it gets." She let the fire-rope slip through her fingers, holding it in one hand now, as the end curled into the sky. Slowly it took on the shape of a whip. She cracked it once, white-blue sparks trailing behind it. Then she passed her hand right through it, though it reformed her fist dropped to her side again. "See? Still fire."

"Yes you can, that's why this is training. It takes practice and hard work. This is an advanced move. But this move opens up the ability to create flame constructs of all kinds. You just have to work on solidfying you flame. Try a blade of flame that should be easier." Kenshi explained.(http://powerlisting.wikia.com/wiki/Flame_Solidification)

Dragna hop in the boat and drew his sword. He then plunged its tip into the water and placed two hands on the handle. He made a paddle motion with his sword and the boat sped over the water to the main island. Dragna sheathed his blade and hopped out the boat. He then proceeded to walk through Yuushima and then across the bridge to mainland and then through the forest.

Bliss nodded and lay back in the large pillows, breathing softly as she occasionally sipped the tea. Deep breath. It's okay. Clam down. It wasn't your fault... She thought, shaking her head a bit and looking down into the slightly red tea. She soon finished the tea and set the empty mug on the nightstand by the bed she lay on. Bliss stretched a bit and rubbed her eyes, swinging her legs off the bed and setting her feet gently on the floor.

Azalea let the fire whip melt away, and nodded. "Okay... I'll try again." She frowned in concentration and again let a ball of blue flame rest in her hand, closing her fist around it as it elongated, gradually taking the shape of a fiery sword. It wasn't solid, however. Doubts plagued her mind. What if she wasn't powerful enough? But no, she shouldn't think about that. With a rush of determination, she closed her eyes and focused on the fire in her mind's eye, picturing it solid and touchable. When she opened her eyes again, she swung the sword-- for a moment, she could feel it in her hands, no longer hovering across her skin but sitting on it, as solidly made as she was. And then the sword shrunk again and she cursed under her breath. "If I'm going to use this in a battle, it needs to last longer than that!" She scolded herself under her breath. Talking to herself had been a habit she'd picked up in her voluntary solitude, back before she'd crossed through the portal.

Leoch followed Dragna silently, his previous thoughts still haunting him. In order to distract himself, he began to hum an old Elven folk tune that had been written thousands of years ago: Takii Chalul, or "Water Strider". As he walked, he examined the trees around him. They were unfamiliar to him, and they did not seem to be taken care of as carefully as the trees in Elf territory. Leoch noticed this with a sense of distaste. Without proper replanting and nurturing, the city would soon lose its supply of lumber.

Kenshi clapped for Azalea despite her sword shrinking away quickly at being summoned. "Good job, just keep practicing. Eventually maintaining your constructs will become second nature."

Dragna headed north towards the Northern Forests. Currently they're quite the way from the northern forest but now Yuushima has shrunken in the distance. Dragna then began to pick up a presence in the area. It was similar to his own because it feels like rage and madness. He then looked ahead with his enhanced vision and spotted troting towards them a knight in black armor with red markings. According to his brother the first Shadow they faced bore similar markings, but this one appeared female and had other differences. Dragna said to Leoch "It seems we have a challenger." Dragnz drew his black claymore and held it at the ready.

Leoch carefully drew his bow and aimed it at the creature, though if it was anything the ones they had already faced, his weapon wouldn't do to much good. On a whim, he decided to try a different tactic. "If I may, milady," he called to the creature, "your hair looks positively radient this fine morning." He almost facepalmed, knowing that his words were less effective than his arrows. In preparation for his attack, he stretched his bow to its full length.

Dragna slowly inched away from Leoch anticipating a very agressive response from the knight. It came true as the knight placed two hands on her sword raised her sword and brought it down unleashing a giant blast of energy that would annhilate a fortress at Leoch. Dragna brought his own sword around front and used power infusion to create a shield of energy to protect himself from the blast.

Azalea nodded, and managed a small smile at Kenshi before she turned away again. She concentrated on creating the sword shape. Now that she'd done it once, it was easier to make it solid again, because she could feel it, in her mind and in her heart. She shaped it carefully, not swinging it this time, just concentrating on keeping it there. It burned hot in her hands, but it wasn't painful. Azalea was confident she'd never be burned by her own flames. That, at least, was a comfort, if a small one.

"Hm, that didn't seem to work," Leoch noted, somewhat flatly. It wasn't that he expected the tactic to work, but he was hoping that they would be able to avoid conflict. Communication with the creatures would make this entire ordeal a whole lot easier. Suddenly realizing that he was about to be torn to shreds, he quickly dove nearly 30 feet to the side. He felt the rush of the blast blow past him, but he didn't stop to think about it. Then spinning around, he fired his arrow directly at the creature's exposed cranium.

(Sorry. I misunderstood your post, thinking that Dragna had blocked the blast completely. I'll edit my above post.)

The arrow caught the knight in the face but merely shattered against her skin. Dragna seeing as he was not her main focus jumped into a tree and waited for the right moment. The knight turned towards Leoch as the wind seemed to pick up speed and swirled around the Knight's sword. She swung it and large razor sharp winds blew annhilated any thing in their path as they all headed for Leoch, the Knighr was surprisingly smarter with this attack making the wind actually come at Leoch on from front, back, left, and right leaving only up as Leoch's choice of escape.

Shin pused the metal out of the whole again and began to breathing heavy. "God your almost as bad as my sister!" Shin yelled in excavation.

"Again." Kenshi said and he raised his hand and the metal plate went flying at Shin again to knock him back into the hole. Kenshi made sure to add to multiply it's weight by 1.5, so that'll require an adrenaline burst. "I am only making you better. The more adrenaline you release the closer you get, to 100 percent muscle usage." Kenshi explained.

Leoch cursed and spun around, giving himself the momentum needed to launch himself several feet into the air. At the height of his jump, he fired two more arrows at the creature, though he knew that it wouldn't do much damage, if any. "Try hitting it!" he called to Dragna, somewhat impatiently. The power of their enemy troubled him. These creatures had to have some sort of weakness, but without proper testing and experimentation, it would be impossible. Unless..."Is it possible to knock it unconcious?" he wondered.

Shin looked up seeing the plate fly at him and remembered when his sis gave him his scar his body moved on it's own punching the plate and breaking it Shin snapped back to reality and looked at his hand which wasn't broken or bleeding like it normally is.

The arrows did nothing but hit the ground. The knight wasn't there anymore. The knight had jumped using her superior agility and strength to jump far above Leoch. She came at him diving at a mach 6 with her sword poised to cut him in two. Should he managed to dodge her the second he dodges she'll unleash another giant wave of energy and use her wind to fly and follow up another barrage of razor winds.

Kenshi looked at Shin and gave a clap "Good that adrenaline is getting where it needs to be faster. Now what should I have you do next?" Kenshi closed the chasm as he thought of something else to make Shin do. Kenshi then put one arm up high and created a giant ball of invisible energy, he then tossed it over Shin and it came down with twice the weight of the plate Shin just smashed. "For this one the ball will fall on you and you're supposed to push it enough that you can straighten your body out. The ball will get heavier if you try to push it up but take too long signifying you didn't have an adrenaline rush. The ball will then give you about a 5 minute break before falling on you again."

Shin went to his knees when the ball feel and stayed like that for a with but then began to slowly straighten out until he was completely standing then took his break. "No different then the weight training sis put me through with some minor changes." Normally he'd be lifting weight over a cliff if he dropped a weight or failed to do the training he'd get a beat down. The ball came back down and Shin went back to his training.

Leoch was not having a good day. "Any time now, Dragna!" he shouted. Seeing the imminent danger he was in, he reached into one of his pouches and tossed a handful of poignant tea powder at the creature. When mixed with warm water, it was great for fighting fevers. But when inhaled, it could cause a horrible cough. Simultaneously, he turned invisible. bending his body to its limits to avoid the creature's attack. As soon as he hit the ground, he rolled to his left.
