Realistic or Modern The West Family

After the waves started to get too low to have fun on, Chance paddled back to shore and picked up his surf board. He walked onto the dry sand that was scorching hot from the sun. A brunette with a notebook near his belongings caught his eye. He smirked and walked up to her, setting his surfboard down on the sand. He took a seat and smiled at her. "You seem pretty concentrated on that notebook of yours." Chance stated.

Elizabeth smiled when Alex started to play along . "Come and see this ugly magician that can lift a ball with his mind!" She shouted with a low voice and noticed a few kids started looking at them.

Jessie looked up when she heard a voice. It was him, she chuckled awkwardly. "Yeah..." She glanced back down then back up "I guess the waves died?" she asked softly looking at his surfboard.

"Yeah, pretty disappointing. I was hoping for big ones today." Chance replied, chuckling. "So, what're you working so hard on?" he asked the girl.

He looked at one of the kids approaching who seemed doubtful of Alex's ability. He smirked." Look we have an unbelievable. Here catch, check to see that this is a plain ordinary ball." He said moving his hands appropriately and hoped Elizabeth played along.

Elizabeth nodded when Alex moved his hands and knew what she had to do. She moved her hands and made it seem like Alex was moving the ball himself. The kid touched the ball and his eyes widened.

"ooh magic tricks let me join" taking out a deck of cards "I'll show you a real trick" juggling the cards and balancing them on one finger

Ava was patrolling the beach with pink lemonade in her hand when she saw some people doing magic tricks. She jogged over to them and watched as they did all kinds of things with a ball and one male was doing tricks with a stack of cards. "Pretty cool tricks you've got there." she said, grinning.

"Aha thanks but would you like to see something even greater" shuffling all the cards peering at the girl

She shrugged and closed her notebook "Just drama club stuff." she said giving him a smile. "I'm Jessica...or Jessie...."she said smiling up at Chance. She couldn't believe that she was talking to this guy.

Ava smirked. "Go ahead, impress me." she said confidently.

Chance took her hand and gave it a good shake. "How about Jess?" He laughed. "I'm Chance."

"okay keep your eyes wide open" showing off the cards then drops them and they all land on the front side "okay ready set flips" snapping my finger and they all flip onto they're back showing a picture of the beach "beautiful no"

Jessica shook his hand back. "Jess is fine. It's nice to meet you." She looked at his surfboard "is surfing hard?"

"Wow, how'd you pull that off?" She run her salty fingers over the cards and giggled. "This is way cool." she admitted. "You a professional?" Ava asked.

"Not really." he replied. "I love it, it comes naturally to me." he laughed inside his head when he thought about how he was hiding the fact that he had enhanced strength and agility.

"You can say that...and if you want I can show you more" taking a card then flicking my wrist turning it into a blink card with my number on it

"That is the coolest trick. Teach me sometime?" she giggled and took the card. She was wearing a bikini with jean shorts and she tucked the card into her back pocket. "I'm Ava, by the way." she said.

Jess smiled up at him "well maybe you could teach me sometime." she said giving him a smile.

Chance smiled and pulled out a piece of paper and a pen. He scribbled down his number and handed it to her. "Anytime you feel up to it, I could teach you."

Elizabeth smiled and started using a very deep voice again. "Thank you for watching the show.... and stuff" she placed the ball on the ground and walked away to make sure no one would see her and came to view again. She returned to where her brother was and smiled at him. "That was not a very bad show."

" I'd like that very much...aye yo Alex don't leave without me.....matter fact leave without me" following behind Ava

She took the paper and placed it in her notebook, "what about now?" she asked feeling a boost of confidence. "Unless you don't want to then we don't have to..." she said her confidence from earlier fading. Jess gave him a shy smile and waited for his response.

Ava walked over to the beach bar. "I'll have a daiquiri, please." The bartender nodded and started making the order. "What are you having? And the drinks are on me." she smiled.

Chance's smile grew when she asked. "I'd love to!" he said optimistically. "You have a swimsuit on?" he asked her.
