Fantasy The War (Players Needed)

Tina looked at Aermik and stuck her tongue out. "Yeah I got it you don't like me. You don't need to say that on every opportunity. ", she said. "Its not like I chose to be what I am or something.", she said. Tina never wanted to be spy. But bandits captured her when she was just 3. They killed her parents and made her one of them. She luckily had found a better life at the kingdom of darkness.

Thalia nodded at Aermik as she took the tea and blew before taking a sip, it was delicious, sweet, and very refreshing as well as relaxing due to the herbal flavor. Thalia stopped drinking her tea when she heard the last part that he said when he was telling her what he does for his queen. Thalia let out a small sigh and took an even bigger sip,"Thank you for being considerate of what I eat," Thalia said hearing how she told Aermik to make a few vegan dishes for her. Thalia looked over at him and then at the queen,"I see no harm in bring him along, when I get back we'll discuss a few things." Thalia said as she placed her empty tea cup on the tray once more and walked over to Zelarous,"Seems like you will be my guard around this kingdom," Thalia told him as she brushed her hair off of her shoulder and stood in front of Zelarous waiting for his response.

Zelarous bowed his head to his queen for a moment as he so often did when she ordered him. He then looked to Thalia, it seems she would accept him guarding her. He was relieved, things would be smoother this way. "No harm will come to you. You have my word." the queen's orders were law to him. "Where is it that I will accompany you to?" he asked her, since he probably knew the castle better than she did, and could take her to where she wanted to go.

"Coffee is my favorite." He took the mug, who instantly came to a boil at the King's hand. He took a sip, them sighed. "Perfect temperature too. Thanks, Aermik." He saw the duke coming through the door, the flare he sent vanishing. "Ah, Faolin. I'm glad you arrived safely." He patted Faolin on the shoulder, then showed the way. "Faolin, this is Queen Bellatrix, ruler of the Dark Kingdom. Now that the Duke is here, there's no reason to prolong this break." Galandor smiled as he looked at both figures. "Now, to start things off, I'm offering you full support rom the Lava Forges. Weapons and armor, befitted to your whole army, enchanted with the strongest spells available. This should start as a good offer." He smiled as he drank more of the bubbling hot coffee.

Snorting Faolin looked for a seat. He found one and sat. Silently he looked at the Queen he smiled charmingly as he had a habit of doing and stated, "Evening Queen Bellatrix I would have been here earlier but I was delayed by the face my King suddenly went missing." He grinned then sat back. He was relaxed as could be but ready to strike as quick as a cobra if need be. Was their a rule about being armed in the Queen's prescience? No one had said anything so he assumed it was safe his sword would stand up to any even those his King forged well exept maybe the sword he had made for this Queen. Foolish and somewhat understandable move. He kept his mind surrounded by a shield knowing these dark elementals had a thing for reading minds and he had no wish to have his open like a book for them.

Thalia began to walk down the hallway when she said told everyone she would return shortly. "The black market please," Thalia told him. It was a strange place for a queen of her kind to go to or even mention but the recipe for the potion asked for a few things that she could not find in the markets near her. She would normally send a messenger to go and get the ingredients but given the fact that she was already here she thought it was only best to get it. Thalia began to walk with Zelarous, she hoped it wouldn't be awkward since they got off on the wrong foot. "My apologies for starting off on the wrong foot," Thalia told him. It was hard for her to apologize but when she knew she did something wrong she admitted to her actions.

Bellatrix took the head seat in the large table within the drawing room, closing the door before she did so. "Now. The offer you start with is very..generous." She started, her face growing serious as well as her demeanor. "Also. Duke. It is a pleasure to meet you." She quickly added before continuing, "My next question however is very obvious. What would you require of the Dark Kingdom? We control a very..interesting market as well as we have very extensive poisons, rare herbs, knowledgeable mages, access to hell and various other things." She said, her elegant lilac eyes never leaving Galandor. Of course her expression was hooded and her face no longer playful. This was a negotiation, not play time.

Silently Faolin looked at his King waiting. He had no say in this because he wasn't the best in negotiations. His reply would have been you specialize in unique herbs we specialize in weapons how about we just pay for each others special items that are discounted for each other or just trade. However he didn't say this he sat silently as if thinking hands clasped.

"The black market it is." he stated. Though it was a place that was not suitable, nor safe for someone of royalty outside of the kingdom. Zelarous shrugged it off, with him beside her no one would dare make a move of any sort. If they did, Zelarous would take care of them quickly. As they walked he listened to her apologize. This was the second apology he heard from royalty today. As he did with the fire king he replied "Someone of your status has no need to apologize to someone like me". He didn't really believe this, but it was for his queen. "I should be the one apologizing to you." he said as he they came upn the black market. It wasn't exactly the safest looking place "Do not worry queen of plants, no harm will come to you." he said in an attempt to make her feel more comfortable.

"Simply put? Manpower. Tireless, strong and resistant manpower. I require some workers for helping the blacksmiths at the Lava Forges. The undead would be treated as equals, and they would be a reliable force to help building such equipment in a short time. But I must ask, what do you want from the Fire Kingdom? I'm sure Orbis has a lot of assets that the Dark Kingdom would benefit greatly." Galandor stared at her eyes, his own amber eyes focused on them. He was gazing directly at the beautiful lilac eyes of the Queen, pondering his options, but also admiring her gaze. He turned to the Duke. "What do you think, Faolin? What else can we put at the table?"

Aermik cleared his throat stepping into the room, "If I may speak plainly, the answer is quite simple. We require you for your resources. Armor, weapons, gemstones, all of them will be necessary once we achieve victory." He said taking his spot beside his queen. "When we are victorious, our plans involve large amounts of monetary wealth. You would benefit greatly, to be sure, more so than any other nation." He said coughing, removing his apron and folding it over his arm. "Your kingdom has potential to be one of the wealthiest. Should our plans come to fruition then that potential shall be realized. In the meantime we will require weapons, armor, your forges, minerals, gemstones. Things I am sure that your kingdom would be able to spare."

Tina took her sweet and then looked around. "Everyone left. Great. Now I won't have anything to do again.", Tina said. She decided to be a bad girl for once. She snuck into the room where the conference was. Hiding under a chair, she listened.

Specifics in weapons resources and stuff like however I am not quite sure the person hiding under that chair has clearance to hear these things. He had noticed the girl by a stroke of luck and a reflection in his glass of water that he had brought with him. He looked at the chair and asked, "Should I get the person under that chair out?

The streets of the black market that was once rowdy and full of chatter has gone silent when the Queen of Plants arrived. Thalia paid no attention to them at all and kept her head straight forward until she reached to the merchant she was looking for. Thalia had to buy the heart of a dragon. It seemed very weird and questioning to buy a forbidden a dragons organ but it was a requirement for one of her potions. Thalia rarely fixed up potions but this one potion was going to help her stay invisible when walking through the dark forest alone as well as protect her. Thalia thought it was best to make this potion since she was always out and about going place to place and it would be nice to not run into trouble. Thalia saw how the men where giving her dirty stares as well as the women there but Thalia turned the other cheek when she was coming up to the merchant. @Zelarous

Bellatrix raised an eyebrow at the Duke. "Hiding..?" She asked and looked under a chair. "Tina.." She sighed deeply, bits of rage coming to surface but she pushed them down, doing her best to be on good behavior. "Get out from under there this minute." She demanded, her voice very hard and as cold as the grave. Bellatrix then looked to Aermik, "I hate to make you leave, and you bring a fair point..but Tina needs punishment for directly disobeying me." She said, giving him a look that only he could see, one of anger. A look she not often gave. This look then quickly changed as she faced toward Galandor. "Forgive my..'daughter' she is..mischievous.." She said, trying her best to remain level headed, though her headache only grew in size.

Listened to the merchant and the queen talking. He wondered what the woman needed with a dragon's heart? Zellarous kept a close eye on the public. They seemed to be staring at her, some in hatred, some in lust. One man got too close, though he may have not had any ill intent. Regardless Zelarous swiftly grabbed the man by the throat and threw him to the ground. The man looked at him with wide eyes "Z...Zelarous, the devourer of souls..." the frightened commoner muttered before shuffling back to the rest of the crowd away from them. He paid no mind to the man's comment, it was a name he had been given by those among him. Though Zelarous didn't call himself with such a title, it was a rather accurate one. "I am sorry about that." he said turning to the queen.

Silently Faolin stood up and went to the chair. He softly moved it aside and looked at Queen Bellatrix. He looked at the child in front of him then stated, "I don't mean to contradict your orders your Majesty but punishment might not be the best way. Could I suggest making her someone's handmaiden and having to be a servant?" You could see he really didn't want the girl to be whipped or something like that. He then sat down and stated, "Sorry I just have bad memories." His father had beat him constantly it had changed Faolin for the wost for the longest time.

Aermik nodded picking Tina up by the collar, sighing, "You know what I say about secrets, Miss Tina, and spying on us I consider to be a very, very large secret." He sighed walking towards the door bowing to Galandor, giving a sly smile, "Though I will say our plans involve expanding our so called "Black Market" and making it readily available to others, and having your kingdom sell wares in it, not only to our nation, but every other nation as well." He bowed, leaving the room holding Tina by the collar, walking to the kitchen before putting her on a wooden stool, rubbing his temples. "Where did I go wrong I ask of you? Did I not make it absolutely clear how important this is? If we are to create a centralized hub of trade we need the bloody richest nation in order to do it!" He said raising his voice. "For hell's sake, you know that a central market is the key to our future, is the key to expansion and will provide the most utility." He said putting his hands on her shoulders, "We. Need. That. Land. We're the only ones who can see past selfishness and understand that trade will help to solve all issues from all kingdoms!" He gripped his head, exasperated, "Well? What have you to say for yourself?"

((Yay exposition! Because Dark Kingdom actually has a truly useful plan for said land!))

Galamdor simply atood there as the scene unfurled. He wasn't going to interfere in a superior handing doen orders on a servant. Faolin talked, but Galandor simply put his hand at his shoulder. "That girl is Bellatrix problem. She's the one who needs to deal with her. A mother shouldn't be stopped from dealing with her child." he calmly said to the Duke. After Aermik left with the girl, he saw Bellatrix pained expression, which caught him by surprise. He didn't know the dead could feel pain. "So, the areas around Mt. Joelark are plenty for you and your ensemble. You should find no problem setting up shop there, and... My queen, are you okay? Is something the matter?"

Tina kept a look of pouting throughout the whole thing. That was until she was scolded by Aermik.

When he talked to her, tears filled her eyes. "I am sorry. I did not think about what would happen if I got catched. I was selfish and acted thought and reckless.", she said. Tina almost never broke rules. But she tended to overreact if she did. Within the blink of an eye, she had taken her knife and given herself a deep cut in the hand, that immediately started badly bleeding. "I deserve great punishment.", she cried and tears rolled down her face. She was obviously in deep pain, but trying to endure.

Softly Faolin replied, "It maybe her problem but I can't help giving advice to bad orders now can I?" He said this very softly so only his King would here. He shook his head. They didn't understand. He had this sense in him when someone needed protecting and he had sensed it in the girl. He suddenly winced in pain as a large cut appeared in his hand. Odd. He healed it quickly without a seconds thought must have been his clumsiness with the tip of his pommel. He sat down and closed his eyes thinking composed.

Bellatrix let out an exasperated sigh. "If you could get me a map of the area..that would be..perfect." She said and bean to rub her temples. She wanted wine. Bad. Normally Bellatrix never drank it but on the finest of occasions or when she simply..well needed it in extreme situations. "Also, I appreciate your concern Galandor. I just wish for us to talk more..privately. I understand the Duke is a much needed opinion..but I very much wish for us to come to our own terms then write the formal agreement. One on One." She said, giving him the smallest pleading look. Bellatrix normally would keep her cool and never let anyone see the truth of her emotions, but right now was an exception. After the many guests that had shown up, the the bit of chaos that had ensued..well she wanted a more private discussion like they had planned. "Also Duke. Please note that she is my child. Now I will not let harm come to my family. Absolutely not. I am not that Queen any longer. I understand your concern, and I do hope that punishment is not always whips, chains, beatings and such. It can easily be time out or something taken away. Please do well to remember that next time you wish to lecture me on my child." She said, her voice cold like it was with Tina.

Silently Faolin looked at the Queen. For a second he looked into her eyes. He replied, "Forgive me Queen but I have an extra sense about me when people were in danger and it's in my nature to feel concern for those who cannot defend themselves if stating my concerns and suggesting things to avoid a person getting hurt is against the law then forgive me." He stood slowly then bowed to her and stated, "Besides it's in my best interest to make sure the next Queen lives to become one so sorry for speaking out of my power but when I feel I need to say something I say it regardless of what people might think or say. Now I will leave you two alone. I'll be waiting outside my King call me if you require my services or my ability to speak the truth as it is to me. With your leave Queen I shall go. Plus she seems to me like the type who normally doesn't break the rules then is drastic to herself when she does. Sorry I said to much again." He bowed in respect. He spoke all of this calmly and with great respect.

Aermik sighed, snapping his fingers as a shadow arrived to him, "Bring mistress a bottle of wine before I forget, please. She enjoys red and I personally recommend it be a bit on the dry side. Do it quickly." He sat down looking at Tina, "You're going to be scrubbing and helping for weeks. In the meantime we need to get you bandaged up. Come here." He motioned, taking her hand and examining it. It was a clean cut thankfully, but needed to be sealed off. He brought her to the sink, washing it with water before bringing her over to the first aid station in the kitchen, opening it and getting a bit of gauze out, wrapping her hand with it. "Whenever this is all over, you owe mister Galandor an apology. Your punishment, I will let you choose which area you will assist with most."

Tina kept silent until her bandage was done. She had stopped crying. "Thank you...", she muttered looking at her hand. She felt ashamed for her actions. "I will help wherever help is needed most...", she muttered on. Tina looked at the ground.
