Fantasy The War (Players Needed)

There were various yelps of surprise and concern from the men at the sight of Saij get tackled by a lion. He dropped the sword in the sand, laughing as the lion's tongue tickled him "hahaha! I'm- I'm- hahahaha I can..t..." he cackled, reaching up to Yer'Sat's mane and petting it a bit. Saij's mother Harena had come out of her tent when she heard the yelling, tho much slower and was joined by a worried Sara, who came with her to examine the scene. When the two finally arrived to Saij laughing and squirming around beneath the large lion, they exchanged glances of confusion, looking back and forth between Yer'Sat, Ammax, Saij and the soldiers, who also shared the same looks. Sara, holding her spear in her hand tightly goes to intervene but is taken by the arm, Harena holding her back. "patience child..." She says gently "there is no threat here..."

Ammax

Ammax looked over the Red haired girl, then the older woman... Saij's mom, he supposes.

He says something in another language. "Parat! Vemen!"

((If he was born in the Air kingdom, they know a diferent language there. He basically said ^Stop! Come!^))

Yer'Sat stands up, and comes towards Ammax, sitting down and looking up at him.

"I heard there was someone here that belonged to the Air Kingdom?"

He looked around, eyeing all of them. His wings slid back into his torso, and you now notice he is hoveing slightly above the ground.

Durrga heard the sound of wings flapping long before anything had happened, getting up he excused himself from Saij's presence. walking out of the tent he use the air to "see" where the intruder had landed. Looking in Ammax's direction as he landed, "I do believe this to be the Guardian of the Air Kingdom, Ammax" Durrga said as he faced in Ammax, the only man that was 4 steps in front of the circle that had been made the men of the camp, Durrga's blind eyes gazing through the horse man and off inti the horizon. Durrga was shocked by the sudden appearance of a lion, and even more shocked when it tackled Saij and began to lick him, hearing Saij's laugh was like finding water in the dessert, refreshing. Durrga's hand shot out to his side as the wind began to pick up dust and swirl around him, from Saij's tent came twriling shape that spun through the air right to Durrga's hand, it was his staff. Catching it Durrga spun it around and slamed it upright in the sand, using it to lean on. "I know not of who you search." Durrga said as he put his weight on his staff looking very relaxed.

@Mmetafour @Supermegabrenda2

Saij laughed a few more times, still on the ground, laying in the sand for a moment "ahaha.....ahhh...yes...we are, all of us, of the Air Kingdom my friend" he nodded and slowly rose from the sand, wiping his face with his cloak and brushing himself off. "I am Saij Tacllam, I know of you Ammax, because the bandits also know of you, tho they are less kind with the words they use to surround your name." he regained his posture. "but, unless I am mistaken and there is another half horse, half man guardian of the sands, then you are definitely who they speak of in fear and hatred" he smiled brightly at Yer'Sat and then up at Ammax. The tents began to open up slightly, nomads peeking out to get a look at what was happening, they were curious and felt a bit less threatened hearing Saij laugh and the absence of any battle noises along with Durrga's entrance. "What is going on Durrga?" one of the men asked him, the tip of his spear now pointed down toward the sand, his face riddled with confusion.

@Supermegabrenda2 @Killorkiller

Hearing the man's question Durrga tilted his head in the mans direction, "this horse man's name is Ammax, he is the Guardian of the Air Kindgom, he is on our side" Durrga said, the turning his attention back to Ammax he walked forward towards the horse man. "Who is it that you look for?" Durrga said as he reached Ammax, standing in front of him the horse man was much taller than Durrga, but height meant nothing to a blind man.

Ammax

((The weapon here ^-^))

tumblr_nx8s7bqx9D1t95nkpo1_500.jpg

Ammax watched the men with interest. He chuckled when he mentioned the bandits. He turned to the man that aproached him, noting he was blind.

"I am looking for people who are willing to come back to the Air Kingdom, but only those who truly belong there." Ammax turned, and faced everyone.

He took his weapon out of his back, long, curved blades on each end. One of the ends had what seemed to be blood on it. And it was. He placed the weapon against the floor.

Yer'Sat immediatly jumped up and began licking the blood.

Ammax looked up at the men.

"I believe this is the reason to why the men hate me so much. I have killed many of them who dared to defy my laws." He chuckled, watching Yer'Sat. Little flashbacks came to his mind of the last bandit he killed. He dared to attack me... He thought.

Ammax randomly pulled out out a cabbage from God-knows-where. He tossed it up, and caught it again.

(He has a pocket on the back of his skirt. xD )

If you where interested in this, you would have noticed many scars, of all shapes and sizes, littering his body. The widest of scars, that seemed very painfull, were located in the center of his chest. He looked to have gotten himself into multiple fights, especially by the way he sood, eyeing everyone like a hawk, and a stance as if he were about to go on Rage-mode.

"I do not know your names." He said. "You clearly know mine."

Ammax, even having a menacing appearence, was calm and conceided. His grey eyes looked over the men and woman, landing several times on the red-head, the blind man, and Saij.

"Who would like to go? Back to the Air Kingdom, I mean." He smiled kindly, taking a big, and loud, bite from the cabbage. As he chewed, he tossed the cabbage at Yer'Sat.

(If they wanted it, someone might have caught the cabbage.)

Vlad sat around on his chair, crossing his legs and staring into space. The dark atmosphere was ever present, even in his little hideout. He was thinking about what needed to be done now, many things came to mind but he immediately came to a conclusion. Money. He needed money not for food but for 'other' things, he got off his chair and headed out.

He walked around the kingdom once more, before running into a tavern. Out side a sign with the name "The Drunken Soul" was present. Vlad entered the relatively large tavern, people chugging down drinks, gamblers waiting for people to play, and a nice wooden counter, all you would expect from a tavern. On the far right he noticed a board, upon further inspection it was a bounty board. He inspected all the posters before coming across one that caught his attention.

Shane Von Weisstein

Vampire, Bandit Leader

Approximate location: Outskirts of Dark Kingdom

Height: 1.8m

Weight: 58 kg

Vlad particularly eyed down he word 'Vampire', no vampire in the entire world could match against him. However after thinking it through more, he decided that underestimating his enemy could be fatal. He reached for the poster, ripped it off the board, rolled it up, and placed it in a pocket under his coat. As he did all that, many people in the tavern looked at him funny, Vlad assumed they thought he was crazy to take the bounty but he wouldn't take any of it. He walked out the tavern and headed for the kingdom gates, his first encounter with another Vampire on this strange land, the thought excited Vlad.

Locke had watched everything calm down to a reasonable state and let out a sigh of relief. Maybe he needed to teach Ammax how to land, but he didn't need to intervene with whatever he was doing. If anything, he was curious as to where this was going. But then again, the nomads had no idea that he was a demon. Racial stereotypes and all. Locke was going to watch a few moments longer, and then head back to the Demon's Den. Maybe get something to read. Or actually resume the hunt for his sister.

Many of the men frowned and looked back and forth between each other and at Saij and Durrga and even Ammax himself, their heads shaking in a bit of confusion, but at least they had rested their spears and swords, standing around Ammax more cautiously as more nomads looked out of their tents onto the scene. Even the onlookers began to chatter about his request among themselves. Saij bent down and retrieved his sword from the sand, dusting it off gently before turning back to Ammax "as I said, I am Saij Tacllam" he placed his hand on his chest gently, "the man before you is Durrga Valgrus, he is one of my most trusted friends" he then begins pointing out the men who were standing around him, introducing them by name alone. "as the leader, for lack of a better word, of this Nomadic tribe, I have always followed the true principle of wind itself, and that is freedom. Any of these men or women are free to choose their path, if they wish to join you, that is their decision" he nodded once, reaching down to grab the crown that had been knocked off his head when he was tackled by Yer'Sat. "and you Ammax have your own choice as well. I can see you are no enemy of ours, you are free to join us if you wish" he shrugs peacefully, adjusting the crown on his head once more and smiling up at him. Harena smiled softly at her son, nodding a bit as Sara sighed, slipping away from the situation. Clearly, as the elder had described, there was no threat. The men shake their heads, unanimously deciding to stay in the nomad group, declining Ammax's offer.

Durrga saw an opportunity, a great one that could even lead to the recreation of the Air Kingdom. Bending the air into a wind tunnel the size of a hair he used it to carry a message to Ammax so that no others could hear, "these people are not fighters, they do not care for what is left of our kingdom. However, there are some that would give their lives to see their homeland back again, and are willing to fight for it, though they might not state it openly. I think that with the proper training, housing, and leadership, this ragtag group of nomads could become the New Air Kingdom. Every Kingdom needs a master smith and i can tell by your smell and callouses on your hands that you spend quite a lot of time near a forge. If you will join me in this venture to reforge this once great kingdom of ours, i will be forever in your debt.

Silently Faolin looked at Thalia then he nodded. Turning to his food he thought. You just had to chose the female who doesn't want love figures. He chuckled slightly as he stated, "Okay Thalia we won't wander around to much. Also yes you are the reason why I am smiling I am determined to win that part of the argument." He finished his meal as and he stood up. Silently he looked at Thalia then her servants then stated, "Just don't fill all your times with activities you'll wear yourself out and doing all the activities doesn't drown your worries I should know I tried once." He looked away then stated, "Forgive me if I am to blunt Thalia but I tell the truth as I see it if I am wrong feel free to correct me." He placed his dish away as he walked across the room. He expected Thalia to ignore his comments and go do well whatever. Granted being a Queen took a lot of your time but not this much time he knew he had a King. He was also a Duke who knew how much time a Ruler had to do things for the Kingdom either Thalia was extremely devoted or she was trying to avoid falling in love again. He leaned toward the latter instead of the former although he could be wrong but he doubted it.

@sprouhtt

"I do as I please Duke Faolin, it is something that I am used to alright so it does not bother me." Thalia said to him as she turned her back to Duke Faolin and walked away without saying a single word. She did all the work because she got used to it and can never sit down for a minuet all her life has been work work work. Thalia puts her kingdom and the citizens of the kingdom before herself. @Lighthouse8477

Looking at her Faolin stated, "You seemed happier when you were doing nothing in the dark Kingdome but talking." He silently gazed at her then sighed as he turned away it was pointless. It was like talking to his King or himself for that matter. He cleaned his own dish with his fire just to get himself to calm down. He then lowered his temperature as he looked at his rose. Perfectly intact. He smiled at the rose then just walked out of the mess hall. Thalia was probably steaming at him but...Faolin. He stopped. Glancing around he waited for a second. Nothing. His...Faolin. He stopped again okay that wasn't his imagination he was hearing his name being called. Confusedly he listened hearing his voice again very clearly this time. He followed the voice past Thalia as he ignored her hearing his voice over and over. This was odd. He stopped then looked at Thalia as he stated, "This might be a bad time but I think I have gone over the edge because I keep on hearing my name repeated over and over again in this soft female voice and I can't help but feel the voice wants me to tell me something. Am I crazy?" He looked at her expecting a yes still even if he was crazy...Faolin. Hold on. He thought annoyed. He should have probably just followed the voice instead of telling Thalia about it. Oh well one always saw clearer after the fact.
@sprouhtt

Thalia giggled when he approached her,"You are not going mad, that is just the Mik Flowers. They mimik whatever they hear, when I said your name it must have heard it. They only do that for a few minuets and eventually stop." Thalia told him. The Mik flowers used to amaze Thalia when she was younger because anything she said they would repeat back to her, most people thought it was scary but they are harmless. @Lighthouse8477

Although honestly they could do a better job a mimicking you because I thought it was some spirit or something because it didn't sound like you..."He stopped then glanced at her then stated, "Forgive me for holding you up but I also came to apologize. I know I can be a little over opinionated and wrong more times then naught. I just don't want to see my fellow friend work herself to bed every day exhausted." He smiled at her gently then stated, "Sometimes I am harshest towards the people I know the best and care for the most because I don't want them hurt or something. Sorry if my concern makes you angry or fidgety I am just the kind of person who is always concerned about his friends." He unlocked his eyes from hers then pulled up a mental map of the castle in his mind. He needed to walk through the gardens. He looked at Thalia then asked, "Do you forgive me?" He hoped she did. Perhaps he was revealing to much of himself and his character and how he felt about her. Honestly though he had no control over how he came across especially in his eyes which normally revealed his deepest feelings and he had been staring into Thalia's eyes for who knows how long. Oh well let her scream yell determine never to speak to him again. As long as he lived he would be concerned about her.

Locke collapsed his magnifying tube and flew back to the Demon's Den, satisfied that Ammax wasn't going to break an entire Nomad settlement. As he threw his cloak into his room, he noticed Ammax's sword was just laying on his bed. Locke picked the thing up with some difficulty, the thing was heavy. As he held it with two hands, he decided to mess around and start swinging it in the hallway. He pulled one move where he used his own swing to launch him upwards into the air and spun around, turning him into a brief whirl of steel before he landed. If Ammax wasn't coming back, he was keeping this. Or he might just keep it anyways. He did not have a greatsword in his arsenal.

Ammax

He smiled and nodded. He noticed the girl left. "There are threats near the kingdom, such as many robbers and assasins. T'is why I need some help. One versus 200 doesnt seem fair, eh? Yer'Sat is going to keep 'em off, but he wont attack them." He chuckled. "Wuss he is."

He kept the same smile and expression as he heard the message. Ammax nodded discretely. "If you people do not mind, I would like to stay here for a while. Yer'Sat needs to finish some... Busness near the Kingdom."

Yer'Sat flew off, making a loud whoosh and maybe dropping a few men.

He closed his fists, feeling his callouses. Closing his eyes, and sniffed the air.

"I suppose you have a Forge here, eh? If you dont mind, I would like to make a few swords." He walked off, looking for the forge

((Later on, can you make a few men attack him? because he was a criminal before xD ))

(Sidenote: If he is allowed here, he has nightmares (realy bad ones) during his sleep He starts kicking around and bellowing. And if there is a river neary, he will be going quite often.)

Ammax

(da sword, the encriptions say "May your ancestors Protect You")

Ammax walked into a small tent A forge or some sort. It had a fireplace, an Anvil, a few hammers, some left over iron on the corner, and a caulderon filled of water. The fire was on, but barelly. The anvil was positioned behind the fire, and right next to the water. The hammers were layed out on a wooden pannel, being held by nails. People might have been watching him, but he didnt care. It was a forge, for goodness sake!

(Feel free to correct me)

(He also is immune to fire, or extreme heat. Not lava though
xD )

Ammax picked up the iron, and held it to a pole. He stuck it into the fire, and watched as it became a red color. He quickly pulled it out of the fire, and took a hammer. He placed it on a mold for a normal sword, and waited for it to cool. He took it off when it was a normal, metalic color. He stuck it into the fire again untill it became a redish color. He pounded it into a desired shape, repeating this process several times. Soon, the sword was shaped properly, and he casually swung it around. He screwed on a nice, wooden handle on it. To him, it was not heavy, but it might be to anyone else.

He walked out, and said loudly.

"I made a sword! Who wants it?" He held it up in the air, the sword reflecting the light. The blade, when in contact with light, light up the encriptions and the lines carved up towards the handle.

(Unfortunately as sweet as it would be, our camp is totally forge-less. The men are only equipped with weapons they've scavenged in the desert, or obtained after raids on bandits. I assume, considering how peaceful the air kingdom was, there probably aren't many forges in the desert. The one he found before was probably pretty rare! Besides, the majority of the nomads in the camp aren't warriors, despite holding weapons. They're just men who got up to defend the place, probably scared shit-less of this guy who fell into their camp)

((Aww. Okey then. Ill make it so he fixed up the sword he found or something like that. With the tools he had, being a large stone that he used for sharpening, and a little screw-driver like thing.))

Ammax

((Similar to the sword before, he found a blunt one laying around))

Ammax picked up the blunt sword on his way, noting there were no forges here. He sighed. Sitting down, he began sharpening the sword with a large stone he had picked up earlier. He sharpened the sword to perfection, taking minutes, thanks to his skills in Blacksmithing. He then took a small, dagger-like object, and carved in words on the blade, and a few details on the handle.

Soon, the sword was ready. He held it up, and swung it around a bit.

He turned, and said loudly.

"Hey! I've made a sword! Who is your best fighter here?"

The sun was just rising in the east and Mesarth the Dragon sat on the cliff near his cave which peeked onto the village. He chuckled quietly as he watched sheep scurry about a farm. Stretching his massive, crimson-red wings, Mesarth roared a thundering boom, announcing it was time to arise from bed. He smiled at the people down below, his amber eyes glittering in the sun. He was extremely bored as he had no company for weeks. None had visited for what seemed like ages to the one who never went a day without human contact. Mesarth decided that if no-one would visit him, he'd go to the village. Stretching the massive span of his wings, he took off to the air. His large figure blocked the sun for a brief moment as he swooped down into a field just south of the village. He walked at a leisurely pace toward the village, his massive claws scraping the ground. "HELLO GOOD PEOPLE!!" His voice cut through the air like a church bell.

Em paced her room within the Plant Kingdom, growling to herself as a blueish ball of fire followed after her, lighting the room. Murc was huddled in a corner, resting, and she thanked him for not being a disturbance. "How long will it take before this queen tests me? Approves of me? I came here with a plan, a plan to serve, and here I am to be confined to these quarters for the foreseeable future!" Em growled, turning to the shards of glass from a mirror she'd smashed in anger earlier. With a sigh, she waved a hand and the shards lifted, rearranging themselves in proper form, the cracks knitting together as they rejoined. In a minute, the mirror was reset on the table, gleaming as if it had never been disturbed. Em's eyes were dull, lacking in their usual magical blue shine. Her red hair flowed in a mane around her head, messy from days without brushing, her curls making wispy waves in the air around her. She looked exhausted, wary, and she was. Her body craved to cast magic, to fight and make powerful spells. For her, using magic was her sustenance and without a time or place to release her power, she was soon growing ill. Around her neck, the pendant throbbed in time with her own heart, the chains holding her magic back, hiding her abilities from the Queen. Em felt suffocated, stifled as she waited for the Queen to be done with her dearly beloved duke. That duke... he knows what I see... I must be wary of him, she thought to herself with effort. Her head was falling into a mess as she waited... waited... waited...
