Fantasy The War (Players Needed)

Vlad walked through the kingdom of plants, the bright and colorful scenery irritated his eyes a little bit. Just a few minutes ago he had sensed fighting between 2 strange figures. For now he would not bother with such petty things, his current goal right now was to gather information about the other kingdoms, he suspected the ruler of this kingdom would know of such.
Hmm... Make my way to the castle, then find a way to the Queen or King...





Vlad walked to the doorstep of the castle, a guard approached him.


"What business do you have here?"


"I've come to speak to your leader"


"You mean Queen Thalia? I'm not sure of how avalaible she is, let me have someone check"





Vlad nodded with a smile and waited patiently.

Thalia walked back inside and when she walked past the door of the castle she saw her guards talking to someone. Thalia thought it was best to approach them. "It is alright," Thalia said calmly as she put her hand on the guards shoulder gently.


"What brings you to my kingdom traveler?" Thalia asked him as she put her hands in front of her. Thalia looked at the man in front of her, he seemed to be bothered by the light so she guessed that he wasn't from here nor was he hear to stay. @EMP

"Hello Queen of the Plant Kingdom, my name is Vlad. I was wondering if you would be willing to share some information to me about the kingdoms and the land?"


Vlad felt a sense of authority and power looking at the esteemed Queen of the Plant Kingdom, at that moment he also remembered sensing the battle before. He pondered about whether he should have told the Queen, which he ultimately did.


"Also are you aware about a conflict that happened earlier? I sensed 2 figures battling it out, amusing I must say, I expected there to be more 'peaceful' citizens in such a wonderfully built Kingdom"


From the information he had obtained earlier, Vlad was mostly interested in this Dark Kingdom and Air Kingdom. The ruins of the Air Kingdom could provide Vlad with a base of operations and a hideout from the rest of the world. The Dark Kingdom intrigued Vlad, it was mostly hosted by Demons from what he had heard from the folk of the Plant Kingdom. Occasionally, people would speak about the Dark Kingdom and Vlad conveniently picked up more information.


In the land in which he hailed from, Vlad and a couple other individuals were the only demons.


Vlad continued.


"With all due respect, would you also know of how to get to the Dark Kingdom by any chance?


Vlad put on his usual smile after that statement, this time showing his teeth.

Galandor stood still, letting the magic flow into him. His heart resisted as he cringed, the pain growing, but eventually it gave up. Being attuned with magic, he felt the whispers of Bellatrix's spell flowing into him, working its way to his core. The symbol oddly configured itself, blending with the elemental sigil. He sighed, relieved, when the pain subsided. He was still looking to the side, when he felt that Bellatrix still had her hand on his chest. His face reddened, but he still didn't move. "That was... something..." He said, slowly returning his gaze to her. His amber eyes were glowing slightly, but for a brief second, they blinked into a shade of lilac, just like Bellatrix. His eyes widened when Faolin mentioned talking to one another. "W-w-w-what are you talking about?" he hurriedly dressed again, then defeated, sighed. "So, um... Bellatrix... Would you like to have that dinner now?" Galandor was too embarassed by the current events to hear poor Tina hidden.

Silently Faolin looked at them both and crossed his arms. Faolin opened his mouth to speak then stopped. He heard a sound like crying? He shook his head then walked towards the sound of crying. Kneeling down he looked around and found the source of the crying. Looking at Tina, Faolin asked gently, "Are you alright Tina?" His voice held concern. She was a friend he had protected once so he was capable of being gentle with her. He smiled comfortingly then held out a hand to her as he asked, "Will you come out or do I have to come in to you?" He was concerned. She had just saw the entire marking thing and her mother's actions what was going on in her head? He could only imagine.

Someone decided that--" Thalia stopped herself from continuing to say anything else so she changed the subject when he asked her how to get to the Dark Kingdom. " You follow the trail that is going opposite from this kingdom and you will find a large oak tree when you are out of this kingdom. From there you just go straight," She told him.

Vlad walked away from the castle and slowly made his way to the edge of the city. Along the way Vlad found a weapons and arms shop named 'The Edged Bark'. He observed the weapons on sale, spears, swords, bows, longswords, axes, shields, and greataxes. He looked around a bit before coming across a strange blade, it had a dark grey metal blade with strange runes carved on it.

Vlad took the blade to a smith working in the shop.


"How much would this be?"


"You can take that for free sir..."


"Why?" asked Vlad, from the tone of his voice the man seemed worried.


"That blade was dropped off by a strange man one day, just dropped it off and left. So you can take it for free, folks been avoiding it."


Vlad nodded and thought to himself, Just my day. He took the runed blade accompanied by a sheathe and left the vicinity. As soon as he could, Vlad would examine the blade. He made his way out of the city and followed the Queen's instructions.

After travelling quite some time, Zelarous had come upon a village. He was unsure of the kingdom he was in. There was nothing special about this village, it was of rather mediocre size. He had seen much larger and much smaller than this. "This is as good a place as any." He stated before walking towards what he could only believe to be the center of the village. "Let this be the day, we all join as one." he said in a rather loud voice. He got odd stares from the locals, he did not blame them. He probably sounded almost fanatical to them, but he meant what he said rather literally. Before he had only shown very little of his potential power. The element of surprise could be useful to him one day. Here however, he did not expect anyone to survive. He would bless them with a sea of fire and reap their souls. He looked at his right hand for a moment, as if he were pondering. He snapped his fingers, and within that moment, hellfire spread throughout. It was much faster, than usual. Engulfing the village rather quickly. It was doubtful that anyone without exceptional skill could escape it. Zelarous stood at the center of the inferno, waiting for the screams to silent themselves. "I cannot say the afterlife will be well for you." He said before beginning to devour the souls.

Silently Faolin looked at them both and crossed his arms. Faolin opened his mouth to speak then stopped. He heard a sound like crying? He shook his head then walked towards the sound of crying. Silently Faolin looked at Tina. He crawled in with her silently and looked at her and softly stated, "Now their what's this. What's wrong and I won't take silence or no go away as an answer Tina." He was ready to defend himself from a distraught Tina.

Kais had already blended in with the crowd, exploring the Dark Kingdom. "How to I get out... Damn it!" He readied his pistol... but only put one bullet in it. He only had one...

Galandor heard Tina screaming at Faolin, which snapped him back to reality. He hurriedly approached The duo. "Tina? What are you doing here? What's wrong?" He approached her with a concerned face. "What happened?"

Em, who'd been slowly growing stir-crazy as the hours lengthened, continued glancing at the possibility of opening the window and flying to whatever lovely gardens the Plant Kingdom no doubt harbored. As if understanding what was going through her mind, Murc hopped down from a high shelf and glided as best he could to land in the window sill. "C'mon, it'll only be a little while. I'll fly there, walk around, and be back within an hour. If I dawn a glamour no one will know it's me- minus perhaps the queen, but she's already agreed to let me stay and who can put one at fault for admiring a garden?" The lizard growled to remind her it was a bad idea before scampering down from the window sill to let her pass. Em smiled and in a burst of magic, shrank into an ordinary tawny-pelted cat. She flashed her still-blue eyes to Murc and a feline smile graced her lips before she took a few steps forward to jump up onto the window sill. With a nudge of her nose, the surface swung open and she picked her way down into the courtyard.

He looked at the Queen and stated, "And listen to her and tell her..." he stopped himself then whispered, "Sorry force of habit you need to deal with this." He walked to his King and stated, "I know I am not in charge of you but go. Let's leave mother and daughter know. All of you soldiers come on out!" The soldiers obeyed duitifully as Faolin looked at his King and asked, "You coming. You know we shouldn't stay and I need to speak with you again. When we get outside."

Zelarous stood their in the middle of the former village. The ash rained down as the wind blew against the hollow structures. The screams had died off some time ago, and only silence remained. "Will my thirst ever be quenched?" he wondered aloud. It seemed the more souls he took, the more souls he craved. His increase in power was never enough to fully satisfy him. He wondered what kingdom he was in, he could not tell. Zelarous began to make his way out of what remained of the village, if one could even call it such a thing anymore.

Galandor eyed Faolin from head to toe, skeptically. "To be honest, Faolin, how I handle my romantic relationships is my business and mine alone." He sighed. "I'm sorry, it's just... frustating. it's like walking in burning coal." He then smiled. "So, finally got enraptured by someone, eh. Now that the treaty is finished, you're free to do whatever you want, my friend. Go, head to the plant kingdom, don't forget to send me the wedding invitation." He winked as he lighly elbowed Faolin. "You're officially dismissed from duty, Duke Faolin of Andoria." He saluted him and then left, heading back to the gates. He thought Elsbeth was still there, asleep.

Looking at his King Faolin sighed. He looked at his King so cheeky when it comes to my love relationships but when address him on his blank wall. He grinned then thought. What about that whole protect the Kingdome thing? He wanted to ask but he had been given leave and he wasn't going to ruin the opportunity. He should have asked if the seal worked on the thing he may be riding like his Griffith. he decided to leave his Griffith behind. He had another one outside the city just in case. He looked back checked his supplies and swords. He had to stop at the Fire Kingdome first he was making Queen Thalia a present in the form of a nice dagger. He saw her main weapons were these things so he decided to give her one that was good. He ran towards the shield. Well here he came. He smiled. Was this a good idea? Probably not. Oh well. He continued running.

Ryan stood up and walked around the castle in a frantic way. He knew it was a attack, but still he might as well make sure it was a attack. When it happened, he just froze and stared at the gate, praying that nothing blows it up. Lighting ran away somewhere in the castle. After walking, he found the king of fire. Ryan walked toward them and say, "What happened? Was that a attack or...something else?" Ryan's hand instinctively goes down toward his dagger, waiting for the answer.

After everyone had left her, Bellatrix decided she was going to let out frustration. So, without any regard for anyone and without telling another she walked to the soldier training grounds. Under the cover of eternal night, she made her way there. She had but only a few thoughts rummaging through her brain. Many of them why's about Tina, about Zelarous, the attack, and why she felt so awkward putting the seal on Galandor. The last one not bothering her as much right now. The minute she'd made it there, she took the scythe off her back. She spun it around a few times before slamming it on the ground, a small dust cloud moving when she did so. From there, Bellatrix spoke to those who stood around, fighting poor excuses of dummies. "Hellfire Legion." She called.


Men and women gathered around her, all of different ethnics. "I see you grow weary with these poor excuses of dummies. So, I come before you and offer this: Spar me if you dare." She challenged with a small smirk. At first, not a soul moved; then one stepped forward and bowed. Bellatrix returned this and then the ring formed around the two and a spar broke out. Of course she'd never harm a single person in her army, but that didn't mean she was taking it easy on them either.

Zelarous walked further along, still covered in ash, as the environment once again began to change. The sky darkened above him, and the grass became barren. This was all beginning to look familiar "Are their other places in this world that resemble the kingdom of darkness?" he asked himself aloud. He stopped where he was, unsure of which direction to go.

Galandor heard the sounds of battle as he went to check on Elsbeth. Deciding to let his general sleep some more, he went to investigate. He saw a group of soldiers, Bellatrix's Hellfire Legion, cheering and watching in awe. When Galandor politely elbowed through the crowd, he saw Bellatrix sparring with another soldier. The soldier was quite frantic, but Bellatrix movements were gracious. When the soldier dropped, too tired to move on, she offerend a hand up smiling, the soldier left to rest as another took their place, and the same thing repeated. A devilish grin formed in his face, and when the soldier gave up, he calmly approached the center of the circle, drawing his trusty twin blades, Ember&Spark. "My queen, would you give me the honor of this dance?" He said, grinning and readying into a battle stance.

The surrounding soldiers watched as Galandor made his way to the center and drew his blades then challenged Bellatrix. Whispers and cheers spread as Bellatrix gave Galandor a sly smirk. "Why of course, My King." She said and bowed toward him. "But don't expect an easy match." She teased. "Challenger's move is first." She said, and awaited his first move. Now of course Bellatrix had been at this for quite some time, and she'd already become a bit of a hot mess. Her long purple hair was now sticking to her forehead as her entire body sweat. She might be a lich, but her body wasn't exactly completely..dead and decayed just yet. The crowd around them seemed to watch with curious and awestruck eyes at the two.
