Fantasy The War (Players Needed)

Belatrix held her daughter tightly and stroked her head. "There there my child." She spoke softly trying her best to calm the distraught girl. In truth Bellatrix was overjoyed her daughter had returned safe and sound. "Tell me..what is wrong my little Tina." She said and knelled down to be face to face with her. That's when she noticed the rifle. Where in the world? A rifle? Who gave my child a rifle? She wondered to herself as she continued to try and sooth Tina.

((Sorry, was knocked out at home, so tired...))

Galandor watched intently when Elsbeth attacked. Following her step, he stood unmoving, waiting for the best chance. When she turned clockwise, he knew what she was doing. The moment her steel went for the strike, he spun, following the blade's trajectory, guiding it to the other side. Elsbeth kept going until she stopped a few inches from the wall of soldiers. "Nice job, but this stance leaves a huge opening for magic attacks. Now, try again." ((I'll time skip this, if you don't mind.))

After several minutes, Galandor sheated his sword. Elsbeth was a formidable opponent, almost hitting him several times. He guided her some times through new moves, which awed the soldiers, before letting her train the moves on him. "I guess this covers up. Great work!" The soldiers clapped at Elsbeth for the display of power. "You're quite strong, General, but I guess you need your rest. Soldiers, dismissed." The soldiers bowed and left, leaving only Galandor and Elsbeth. "Now, I gotta go, I need to settle some isssues and finally sign the alliance treaty. I hope you learned something here. Farewell." He smiled then left, going where Bellatrix was. "Bellatrix, I see that Tina is safe." He approached her and bowed. "I think that now it's a good time as any for that dinner you owe me, isn't that right? But before that, I'd like to sign the alliance treaty." He sat beside her. "Today was one hell of a day, eh." He pondered. "No pun intended."

Silently Faolin walked inside. He walked around until he found his King. He sighed in relief then walked up towards him. His eyes noticed the Queen and Tina also that new general who frankly no one but him and the King trusted. They had been sparing he could tell by the smell of exertion and sweat. Walking up to his King he stated, "There you are Galandor! You had me worried. I haven't seen you in ages sorry if I am interrupting but I wanted to find you just to see how the peace treaties are coming along." He looked at the Queen then at his King and asked, "Did I interrupt the peace treaties again?" He was talking about the first time he had been sent out. He chuckled slightly then waited for his King to address him.

Bellatrix was still fully dressed in her armor, hair up and of course her very various weapons on her as she turned to look at Galandor. "Ah..right.." She looked back at Tina and kissed the child's forehead, deciding not to ask about the rifle just yet then she stood up. Before she could say anything the Duke showed up, and asked about the treaty. For some reason this made her crack a small smile. "Faolin, you have indeed interrupted. We were just about to sign it." She chuckled. "Come along. Let's just get this thing signed before more hell ensues, yeah?" She said with another chuckle as she headed toward the drawing room.

Chuckling Faolin shook his head and looked at the queen. He walked after her slowly. He had made her smile. Good they needed laughter in this dangerous and troubled times. He stopped looking at Tina and the gun. He almost asked the Queen if she had noticed it then stayed quiet. The Queen undoubtedly knew he had no need to speak. Wiser with experience. He smiled then looked at the King. He would be a co signer just to make the treaty more solidified. Some people didn't like the King. Those who didn't like him although all those who liked the king normally didn't like him either. It was a two way street Faolin softly agreed, "Yes. We should get to it right away."

"I did what had to be done." he said before sitting back down on the stone cold bench. "I don't do anything without a reason." he rested his head on the back of the wall. "Without me to help guide the kingdom, everything I have striven for will be washed away. The kingdom will be ushered into an era of peace. The peace will bring stagnation, mediocrity. She deserved every piece of land in this world, don't you see? She was the queen of queen's..." he was talking of Bellatrix "...but now...now she will share her land with kingdom of fire. She called Galandor my king. My king!?.." he emphasized "..I can no longer bring her the prosperity I wished her, and the kingdom to have."

"But it does not mean that you get to burn down her kingdom or kill her men." Thalia said to him as she crossed her hand in front of her chest. Thalia looked down at him some part of her had pity and the other part was disguist but she tried not to show it. @Zelarous

The whole spar had left Elsbeth, quite conclusively, worn out. "I... I can agree with that...". She had tried her best to keep herself up whilst the soldiers were present, but once they had left she practically felt like collapsing to the ground. Who knew sparring would end up with her so tired... maybe she was just tired in the first place? Elsbeth couldn't tell. A quick thud later, she had sat herself down with her back to the nearest wall, leaving her weapons on choice on the ground beside her. She had forgotten where or when she had gotten the duo, but a passing thought went through her mind. She hadn't made use of other types of weapons before - maybe it was just because she didn't have to bother. The sword that Galandor had used during their spar certainly had a lot of flair to it. She began to wonder what sort of weapon would be forged for her, if one was. On this note, she began to doze off, drained by the entire affair.

Zelarous let out a sigh and ran his hand through his hair as if he were thinking. He put his hands in his lap. "It wasn't suppose to happen the way it did. Of course their would of been bloodshed...but..." he started "..my only goal was to break up the alliance. Sacrifices had to be made. Everything was going well until I had realized one of the queen's shadow's spotted me in the act. That is when everything went downhill. I had to burn a house down, just to divert their attention." he shook his head "Sometimes in order to truly serve our masters, we must go against their will. We must do what is best for them, whether they wish for it or not."

Galandor was surprised by his Duke going in the door. "Faolin! I was wondering where are you!" He turned to Bellatrix, smiled, then looked at Faolin again. "Great timing, my friend. Yes, we were about to sign the treaty. Hopefully you have brought your good feather." He laughed and turned to Bellatrix. "So, my queen, shall we?" Galandor took his time to admire the queen. Her lilac eyes were enrapturing, and her flowing hair moved slightly with the tiniest flow of wind. Realizing that he was staring too long, he shrugged his thoughts, focusing on the task at hand. "So, I'm ready. Are you Bellatrix, Faolin?"

Kais simply packed up his shop, and was ready to leave the market. Where was that girl... He needed to get out... but they left a force field... He should stick around... for now. He started to explore the Dark City, looking at all the sights. There might be something here after all...

Smiling Faolin pulled out his feather and stated, "Never leave home without it." He noticed his King's long stare and smiled. He knew that look the Queen had caught it he was sure. She wasn't a bad choice. In fact ti would probably do the Kingdome good to have a queen. He smiled then stated, "But after this old friend you and I need to talk. Now let's hurry this up before something bad happens." He grinned then looked at the Queen. He followed her in.

Bellatrix looks back at the two before nodded and opening the door for them. "Of course!" She exclaimed happily as she walked in and set her helmet and grimoire down then picked up a black feather quill and looked to the two of them. "Honors are you to first Galandor." She said and gestured to the hand written document decreeing their alliance. Bellatrix's hope and excitement rose as she was finally happy to be at this point. To finally have the treaty signed and peace settle over her kingdom though briefly she wondered how sh might announce to the kingdom this alliance and when she might do it. A rather soft smile had graced her features as she looked to Galandor, waiting for him to sign, then the duke under him and her signature next to Galandor's.

Thalia walked towards the cell bars and she put her hand on one of the bars,"If you were truly loyal and obedient then you would not have done what you did." Thalia said to him. Thalia didn't like hearing about other kingdoms having problems with their servants because she was the type for discipline since other kingdoms thought that just because she was a plant queen they thought they could just pick on her.

Galandor looked at the terms once again. "This will be the start of something really great for this world, my queen." With a flourish, he finally signed. The black ink was still fresh when he raised it, handing to Bellatrix. Galandor Thurion Maxwell, King of Orbis. He couldn't help but to smile. He didn't even need to consider, he was sure this is the right choice. A great kingdom, with a beautiful queen.

Silently Faolin looked at the Queen. Watching her silently he waited for her to sign. He was after her. What was his full name again? Faolin Draco Hunter. Silently he sighed then waited and crossed his arms.

Stood up from where he was and walked towards the bars that trapped him. "Think what you wish to think, it is all in the past is it not? In the end the burden of serving another has been lifted, and the only one left for me to serve in this world is myself." he put one of his hands around the bar as well. He was beginning to wish he had fought the woman seriously so this mess wouldn't off happened. He thought she would be weaker, perhaps he could of avoided this. "If you would allow me out of this cell, I would be very pleased".

Bellatrix took the quill, her hand touching his for a moment before she leaned over and wrote her name in elegant cursive. Bellatrix Lilith Vincetia. From there she handed the quill to Faolin, her face bright and happy as she didn't hesitate at all. She knew through and through that this would be a good step. The right step. Peace would be accomplished. Darkness and Fire united. Orbis was a lovely kingdom, with a handsome King to rule. "Tonight..we will raise our glasses in honor of peace and unity." Bellatrix's voice showing just how jubilant she truly was.

Em awoke and with a sly smile realized she was indeed not in her ghastly cold keep but rather the plant queen's castle. "So it wasn't a dream after all," she mused, rising from the soft space to go don her blouse and skirt. "Murc, wake up ya silly lizard," she cooed, tapping her scaled friend on his tail. Amber eyes like headlights, Murc let out a puff of steam to indicate he was indeed awake. The mage glanced in the mirror by a desk and noticed with a frown that the pendant she'd dawned only last night was beginning to crack. She sighed and decided she couldn't waste any of them so she'd wait until the dam broke before putting on a fresh one. At this point, if the queen felt her true power she'd only prove to be a greater asset.

Silently Faolin looked at the paper for a second. He read it quickly then signed. Faolin Draco Hunter. It was his normal fine writing. He had to finish his name with the mark of his ring which was slightly different then the Kings. He pressed it then rolled the paper up carefully and offered it to the queen as he stated, "It will be safer with you this is paper and the fire Kingdom well has fire so that thing would burn up into ashes." He smiled then looked at his King and stated, "I think a toast is in order." He grinned. He was happy you could tell.

Galandor poured three glasses of wine. Handing them to Bellatrix and Faolin, he raised his own, meeting the other two in the air. Taking a sip, he then excused himself from the queen shortly. "I'm sorry Bellatrix, but Faolin was asking me to talk to him in private. Maybe afterwards we can dine?" he smiled, then pushed Faolin aside. "So, what's the matter? You seemed kinda distraught earlier. Did something happen?"

Silently Faolin took a deep breath in then looked at the others. He then looked back at his King and whispered, "I am worried about the Plant Kingdome. That Cannon out there that shot earlier was part of the rebels I heard of them in a tavern. You taught me that most of the time the rumors in taverns are normally valid. Well, I heard rebels were going to take down the Kingdome by killing the Queen if possible. I haven't heard from her recently. I sent a summoning orb with her, in case she needed me, but I still worry. King I have to tell you this as my friend..." He lowered his voice even more and said, "I love Queen Thalia. Please don't react to my words people are watching. Furthermore, sir I would suggest telling the Queen Bellatrix your feelings about her. You're not fooling anyone sir. I can see you like her no need to be ashamed. That's all I had to say sir I wanted to ask permission sir to...Leave to go to Queen Thalia if she dies...I will never be the same." He looked at his King obviously troubled.

Aermik arrived where the cannon fired, following the path that such a large, heavy weapon would leave. Eventually he spotted the men in the distance in a clearing. He dismounted his horse, opting to go on foot as he trekked towards the encampment, sword drawn as he silently moved into the camp, making it to the outskirts before noticing a lone rebel. The rebel didn't even have a chance to scream as he found his lungs and vocal cords impaled, Aermik's sword sliding past skin and tissue, digging deep into the man's entrails as he gave it a twist. A sickening sound of flesh churning being heard as the blade scraped bone and entrail, scrambling it as he pulled out and walked into the camp, eyes dull, sword at the ready as he moved to the other humans.

"How can I trust you will not go behind my back?" Thalia questioned him. She didn't want to let him go for various of reasons, one he was an assassin, and two she wouldn't want him to burn down the kingdom she loves and has put in so much blood and sweat into it. Thalia let out a sigh as she was face to face with him near the bar, her piercing blue eyes staring right back at him, silence was the only thing between the two.
