Eli smiled behind the breather, and beckoned the girl over to him, taking the weapon up in his hands carefully. He adjusted the cords to adjust the weapon accordingly, it would cock itself as needed so long as it had ammunition and fire a single shot per trigger pull. The weapon's arms expanded slightly as though it was breathing. Eli held it up and offered it to her, "Anyone could use it, just need to point, and pull the trigger." He held it up, and sighted down it's length, and applied the safety catch to it. He pulled his hand away from it remarking, "All you have to do is disengage, and it's live..." Eli offered Raven the weapon quietly.

 

[Yang]

Raven silently took the weapon and pointed it at the side of another building, testing the aim.


After a moment, she nodded and lowered the weapon.

Edward realized that Eli was right. No need to act like a 5-year-old when there are creatures out there to make a grown man piss his pants. It was then he felt an overwhelming urge. "Guys? I'll be right back." Ed walked out of sight of the others.

(Okay, I'd like to say a few things first. Phenix, tell me if I'm stepping over the line.


Jacun, could you please write in 3rd person pov? It'll make more sense for the rest of us if you write similarly to how we do.


Also, complete sentences would be nice. I guess just decent grammar in general. Again, this will help with the cohearance of your posts.

Eli felt his own shoulders slump as Ed made his way away to do his business. He groaned quietly and let out a sigh before he motioned to Raven, "Lass, Come here, I'll show you your targets." He lowered himself down to a crouch and then onto his knees, he moved forward in a crawl until he was at the edge of the building. He had brought the extra pair of night vision goggles with him, and he took a moment to key them on. He'd wait for Raven to move to him before offering them to her. "Look down there, keep your head low, there's quite a few of them..." He paused, "If ye don't want to kill any of them, Ye don't have to. Just wait for my signal and then fire a bolt past me. Just need it for the shock factor." He'd mutter quietly.

Ed came around the corner, obviously embarrassed. "Sorry guys, I'm back." He stood behind and watched them do their thing. Edward grabbed a small pipe. This would make for a good weapon.

Raven nodded tightly, gripping the crossbow a little tighter, before remembering not to grip it, and loosened her hold.

Eli offered Raven the Night vision goggles, "Here, Hang onto these for me. Be careful with them lass, They're fragile." He scooted back and patted her on the back gently, "Wait here for me to set up, You'll know when everything is set." Eli was far enough away from Raven now that he could stand, so he moved back over to Ashley and Edward, nodding to them both he remarked, "Keep her guarded while she covers me, Stay up here, and just knock anyone that comes up over the edge that ain't friendly. Any questions?" He asked, waiting for them.
