The Secret

"Something for me?" Akira said softly with a hint of shock in her voice. She smiled widely and giggled a bit. "Well what is it?" She asked as she became a bit anxious.

Zachary stood her up and then wanders out and then came back in with a small box. He got on his knee and then reveals a small ring in the box. "Will you marry me, Akira?" He asks, softly.

Akira watched in confusion as he left the came back. The moment he knelt down, she dropped her jaw, covering her mout with her hand. Everything they had been through came flooding in her memory all at once, making the tears come mercilessly as she nodded and hugged him tightly, her face hurting slightly from the smile on it. "If course. You say that like its a question," she said playfully before kissing him passionately.

Zachary smiles and then stood up, slipping the ring onto her finger and then hugging her close gently. He nuzzles her and gives a soft whine of appreciation and looks to her, holding onto her hands gently. "I'm glad you said yes" He says, truthfully.

"There's nothing in this world that could have made me say no," she whispered softly as she pulled back enough to wipe her eyes and smiled as she kissed him. I told you before that I could never leave you," she said quietly and held him close to her.

Zachary smiles. Over the next few days he had gotten one of his brothers, Dakota to help him with some of the things for the wedding. His brother seemed rather flirty around Akira and Zachary often worried about him swooping her up before they were even married with his flirting skills.

Akira helped around with some stuff for the wedding as well. She was more than fully aware of Dakota's flirting and tried to make it obvious she wasn't interested. She was looking through different color schemes in a magazine with her head in Zach's lap.

Zachary was looking on the computer at different venues that were available, writing down some numbers as he glances at his brother who was supposed to be writing invitations.

Akira looked up at Zach and showed him a blue and red color scheme. "What do you think of that?" She asked as she flipped onto her stomach and smiled at him.

Zachary looks to the scheme she had showed him and nods vaguely. He went back to the computer and sighed. From the looks of it Dakota didn't seem to be doing any work and was too busy looking at some ornaments on their shelves and other things around the house rather then write any invitations.

Akira sensed his irritation and frowned as she glanced around, noticing Dakota's actions. "Are you planning on helping or not?" She asked with equal irritation in her voice as she narrowed her eyes and sighed.

Dakota turns to her and smirks playfully, he made his way over to the sofa and began to write some, rolling his eyes lightly to himself as he mutters under his breath.

Akira rolled her eyes and sighed as she continued looking silently. She finally got up and went to the kitchen in order to look for something to eat before frowning. She couldn't find anything so she walked out and grabbed her jacket. "I'm going to pick something up to eat do you want anything?" She asked as she walked over and kissed Zach on the cheek.

Dakota watches as his brother shook his head, no. He frowns slightly and then began to continue with the invitations he had started on. He sighs heavily and rolls his eyes several times. This girl clearly deserved someone like hjn rather then his dense brother.

Akira hesitated before narrowing her eyes and sighing in frustration. Without warning, she grabbed his wrist and pulled him away from the computer. "I need to talk to you," she said as she pulled him outside and crossed her arms. "What's wrong? You've been acting like this ever since Dakota got here," she whispered as she stared at him with concerned-filled eyes.

Zachary shook his head liglty. "It's totally fine. My brother is being a handful, since he's the only one who is willing to help out with the wedding or actually agrees on it" He shook his head lightly. He didn't want to say to much nor ponder on the natter. "But we're coping and everything is fine, honestly" He says.

"What do you mean he's the only one willing to help? And I know that's not all because I know you. If it's about his flirting with me then you have nothing to worry about. I said yes to you for a reason and I'm not jeapordizing that just to hook up with your less-than-appealing brother," she reassured him as she wrapped her arms around him.

Zachary smiles and petted her head ligtly. "Yeah...." He breaths softly wuthva smile and pulls away. The reason he was so happy was because he didn't want her to know that his family disagreed on the wedding because she was a human and they didn't trusts her with the werewolf secret, so he dodges her question.

Akira hugged him tightly and closed her eyes. "Everything's gonna be alright," she said softly before pulling back and looking at him. "Now do you want something to eat?"

Zachary shook his head lightly. "No. I'm fine. Be safe" He says softly and then began to wander back to the computer again.

Akira nodded and smiled softly as she began to walk to the nearest McDonald's. Once she got herself food, she walked back and smiled softly as she headed back to the house. She walked in and sat on the couch, beginning to eat happily.

Dakota clenches his fist ligtly as he watches her eat. "Humans.... Disgusting" He grumbles. "I don't even get offered anything to eat and I'm hungry!" He says, throwing the ibvitaions aside. "I.am.not.a.slave" He growls. "Treat me with some fucking respect!" He snaps at her.

Akira glanced over at being called disgusting and jumped up when he snapped. She back against the wall as she stared in fear, slowing her breathing down as much as she could. "What the hell is your problem?!"

Dakota just sighs and sunk back into the sofa liglty. "Sorry" He grumbles under his breath and then got back to the invitations which by now he was bearly done with. "It's not my fault you're so annoying" He mutters.

Akira clenched her jaw and shook her head. The only reason she wasn't throwing him out was because of Zach. "Annoying? Is that what you think because of the fact that IM NOT INTERESTED IN YOU? Stop with the flirting! I'm marrying your brother. Not you. Get over yourself," she said before taking the magazines and stomping upstairs angrily.
