Fandom The Second Pirate Era (One Piece RP)

Lana rolled her eyes and shook her head at the suggestion of leaving him with the bodies, to deal with them alone. "Yeah? That wouldn't be fair, now would it? I saw her taking out a fair deal of bodies, that guy as well. And I lost count after 14." Lana said, pointing at Kemuri, then at Cole as she spoke. Dumping two bodies of her shoulders into the boat as she finished her sentence, she turned around to get another one, and wiped sweat of her forehead with the back of her hand. As the thought of the food storage below came to mind, she stopped in the middle of pulling another body over her shoulders and dropped the dead man to the ground again. "You guys noticed the food storage below deck, right?" she asked loudly, in order for Kemuri to hear her from the beach as well and placed her hands on her hips thoughtfully. Tapping her index finger on her lips, she narrowed her eyebrows before asking; "Shouldn't we give some of it to the villagers, as amends for the damage? I mean, yeah, we stopped it, but quite frankly, they need it more than I do atleast. I'm just trying to get my ass through Calm Belt, and into the Grand Line." she said with an indifferent shrug.

Calvin thought. It was true, and he had been unreasonable about it. The village hadn't helped in the slightest with fighting the pirates, but they had taken the bullet. A few houses had been destroyed, so the least they could do was give some of the food to the town. He sighed and clicked his sword. "That's reasonable. They took the hit, so they deserve a share. After we finish with the bodies, we'll go through the food storage." He dumped another body on his boat and dropped it down, bringing it to shore. After dumping the bodies, he brought the boat back and repeated. "By the way. Lana. Thanks for helping me with Feather. If I had been smarter, I would have been able to handle it myself. I appreciate the assistance."

Nodding with a satisfied look on her face as he agreed to her suggestion. She didn't know what Kemuri would think of it, but Lana's share would go to the villagers anyhow. It was only fair. Besides, they seemed like nice people, even if they were extremely passive during the attack. The feeling was familiar, though. She brushed her hair over her shoulder to get it away from her face while she worked the dead bodies. As Calvin brought the boat piled with bodies to shore, she started filling up the empty one on deck. As she dumped another body, she noticed the equipment Kemuri had taken from her board, and felt it peeked her interest. She tried to figure what Kemuri had brought with her when heard Calvin speak. "Yeah, no problem. He was a pain, I couldnt read his moves properly. You shared your sake with me, we're practically best friends." she said with a teasing smile and punched him in the shoulder as a friendly gesture. After the fight with Feather, she had realized she needed to get ALOT stronger before she could take the Grand Line on, singlehanded. "No, but seriously. I'm not gonna stand idle and watch anyone get killed, unless it's for obvious reasons." she added with a more serious tone, continuing her work. The bodies seemed to become fewer, to her relief.

Igneous walks back to the tavern with a sense of bloodlust but it was nothing unusual for him whether he liked it or not he was raised around murders, rapist, cannibals, and every other type of cruel people so instinctively killing was necessary to live. He steps into the tavern and takes a seat near Henry and Mathew they seemed to be discussing the government so Igneous stated his opinion "I don't think any real pirates would be here atleast nobody that is a real threat here, the grandline is the place to be so that's were the most attention is focused but if this would have been successful then the military would get involved" he turns to Mathew "Your a devil fruit user so am I, I have the Kachi Kachi no Mi fruit"

"Slow down man..." Mazda smirked raising his left hand slightly. "Igneous right? Ok. I doubt military would come, so I guess I agree with you. Kachi Kachi fruit? Tell me about it." Mazda looked at him through his ray bans cooly and still in his comfortable position. The guy was 6'9" so he had to look up at him slightly. He was quick to add into his own opinion. Kind of forceful and awkward to Mazdas opinion, but hell the world was full of strange pirates.... not that mazda would remember.

Igneous raised his hand in front of his face "Well the devil fruit allows me to make my skin hard as a rock and I also can heat up my hardened skin" he heats up his arm turning it red then shuts it off "and yeah my names Igneous" he drops his hand "How come your not in the grandline a devil fruit user should be fine there? I was planning to leave tomorrow?"

"Does no one understand the phrase don't care..."

She shrugged hopping back on to the deck of the ship. Gathering a few bodies she dumped the, rather unceremoniously into the boat. Mostly she was clearing out the ones in and around the hole in the deck so she could see how much work she would have to do. All the talk of travelling the Grand Line seemed rather interesting. She had always wanted to travel there but wasn't to keen on doing it alone. Sure it would be easier to slip under the radar but there were a lot of full on pirate crews out there. And that wasn't something she was to keen about going head on against all by herself. Crouching by the edge of the hole she examined it. She really had to be more careful with the explosives if it was something she might want to use later.

"Well doesn't look like it'll need to much work any way..."

"Well... Im not much of a sailor." Mazda lied, smiling kindly. "Ahhh so youre going to the grand line? I see! Well.... Im jealous... id love to see the world.. how it came to be all its peoples." He sighed

Igneous smiled he found the statement he made funny "I don't think it matters if your a sailor or not you'll get use to it well unless your sea sick or something and don't be jealous as of right now I got no crew meaning once I get past the reverse mountain I gotta watch my own back which is easier said than done" he smile becomes a bit more tense as well as the tone of his voice.

"Same here Mazda." Henry replied.

"You both are stating your Devils?" His nickname for them. He found telling people about your gift was a fool's idea. He had ate the Pole Pole fruit awhile back but he rarely stated it. He cold control the magnetic forces around him but he also couldn't swim. "Well sadly I'm not."

He then listen to them talk. "Grandline eh, I am from the new world you know? Across the line." Henry Stated.

Calvin hauled the last of the bodies to the giant pile, and then fell backward into the sand, his eyes closed. The tough part was done, and all that was left were to get the bodies burned. He smiled and then slowly sat up, shaking the sand out of his hair. He stood up and looked back at the ship where Kemuri was working. He cupped his hand over his mouth. "Kemuri! Or Joker, whichever doesn't end with me and a broken arm, mind lending me you're lighter?!" As he waited for Kemuri's reply, he started to think. Feather had been a tough opponent, and if there were people so strong in East Blue, then the Grand Line would be even tougher. He would either have to keep training or get a crew. He didn't want to join one, so he would just recruit when he could. He scratched his chin, thinking. Lana seemed like someone useful, since she had expertly sailed the ship to the beach, and Kemuri, since she seemed to be an inventor or shipwright. Cole could be useful as well, being a decent marksman and trapper. And the little girl, who he still didn't know the name of. She could fight, as he had seen when she fought the pirates. Then he would check in at the bar and see if there was anyone useful there. He cupped his hands again. "Lana! Joker! How about heading to the Grand Line with me?!"

Lana watched while leaning on the railing as Calvin moved the last of the bodies on the beach. Feeling content, she turned to check if Kemuri was in need of assistance. It was the least she could do, seeing as she had helped Lana earlier with navigating the ship. Lana walked over to Kemuri, crossing her arms as she approached. Her mouth was open to ask if she needed help, but she was interrupted by Calvin's yelling. Laughing, she shook her head, and decided to observe for the time being. With her thoughts wandering to the Grand Line, where she felt an urge to travel to, she sighed and once again leaned over the railing. Hearing her name being yelled, she snapped out of her thoughts, and heard Calvin's invitation to the Grand Line. Thoughtfully, she contemplated her options. If she went alone, she would probably die before even getting through Calm Belt. Both Calvin and Kemuri seemed strong. After a few moments, she cupped her hands with a grin and answered. "Yeah, as long as you don't get me killed in the process!"

Nick opened up the back entrance to the bar, for it was routine. Today was his usual day off, and something cool to drink suited the loud morning. While there was enough commotion to cause the town to evacuate, he stayed. For in his infirmary he had a newly released patient checking in, this was far more important then some pirates. He called the bartender, who hadn't left his post, "Just some water.". He drank and thought about all the residents, hoping everyone got it safe. He wondered if Dusty, a town hero practically, was here. Nick had met the man on many occasions in his office, bullet wounds and stab wounds most often. He sighed and watched the door.

"Oi sure why not... But if we get caught up with the Navy you all better know how to escape fast... I have no intention of ending up in Impel Down just yet..."

Kemuri laughed lightly moving to the side of the ship. Hopping down she grabbed a few boards and various other pieces from the net and dropped them on the lift. Then she grabbed her tool bag, slinging it over her shoulder. Hopping on the lift she hit the switch, letting it run back up the side of the ship and to the deck. Hopping down she grabbed a few boards before looking in Lana's direction and jerking a finger at the pile of lumber and metal. If the girl was already on bored she could probably be of some help. And if they were all going to head out on to the seas as a pirate crew helping repair and take care of this ship is as much as it was hers. Though it was still mainly her job because she was the only one qualified enough to be a shipwright.

"Mind lending me a hand...?"

Calvin laughed and shrugged. "If we get caught by the Navy, we'll just break out! And I'm sure that they'll only take me. I'm the only one with a bounty after all." Calvin smiled and started to plan. They had the ship, the supplies, a shipwright, and a navigator. And he could fight. Cole could come with them, but he would leave that up to him. He would be useful when fighting other pirates or the marines. He watched Kemuri work. She had asked Lana to help with her, and since all that Calvin had left to do was burn the bodies, he decided to burn them that night. It was still daytime, but the sun was getting close to setting, so he laid back in the sand, closing his eyes and pulling his swords off of his belt and laying them next to him. He may as well rest until then, unless he was roused by someone that needed him. "Anyways, Impel Down is just a prison. And no prison is capable of holding something in forever. Just a bunch of stone and iron. No problem."

Lana turned around, looking in the direction where Kemuri had jerked her finger. She nodded willingly and got up from deck to her feet, when asked for help. Kemuri seemed skilled enough to deal with it herself, but Lana knew a helping hand was always appreciated. Whether it be navigating a ship or fixing it. "Sure, why not. Just lemme know what to do." she said and shrugged, walking over to the pieces of lumber and metal. With ease, she filled her arms with lumber and metal from the supplypile and brought them over to Kemuri. If they were to sail to the Grand Line, they'd need a ship, preferrably one that wouldnt fall apart at the first sign of bad weather.

"True hehe..." Red fox laughed awkwardly at igneous... very serious... and strange... but to go alone was dumb. Coming back alone was dangerous even for red fox... but to go headfirst into the adventure alone was suicidal. "If you do so.... please be careful... i highly do not reccomend that however."

Red Fox looked closely at Henry trying to figure if he was lying or not, but then decided it didnt matter. People knew he fought with his bomb powers so trying to hide it was useless. The only thing that sucked was that he could literally lose a fight if sea water was sprayed on him. Before his was one of the strongest swimmers in the game, even getting dap from merman, but now he cant even stick his foot in some sea water. He looked at henry and lied with a nice smile. "Ahh the new world! is it is lawless as I hear? From which island?"

"You keep thinking that eh... Impel Down is more like hell on earth than "just a prison"..."

Kemuri reached up to scratch her head, a soft jingle emitting from her ponytail. Opening up her tool bag she removed both a wrench, a hammer, a good gathering of nails as well as some other rather interesting looking tools. Picking up one, it would soon become obvious that it was a saw as she began cutting away the jagged edges of the boards with the rotating blade. As she moved around the hole, cutting away the extra pieces she also was surveying the below decks damage. Nothing looked to bad but she would need a closer look to make sure. Of course the sooner she got the above deck hole fixed the faster and easier all the other repairs would go. She blew a loose strand from her face and glanced at Lana who had brought over a good deal of the supplies.

"Can you check below the deck for cracked or splintered wood especially around the hull..."

Calvin opened one of his eyes, looking up at the sky. He was laying next to a giant pile of bodies, yet he felt at ease. The sky looked very peaceful for who the previous hours had been. He smiled. "Hell on Earth, huh...? Sounds fun. Anyways..." He grabbed his Red Katana and held it above him. The sun hitting it gave it an eerie glow, making it look like it was made of blood. "I never plan on being restricted by bars. Any marines who plan on taking me to Impel Down have better get past Gabriel and Lucifer, first." He sat up suddenly, looking at the two girls working on the ship. "Oh, wait. I never told you guys that I named my swords. Kinda cheesy, I guess, but they needed something, and I thought those fit nicely. Red is Lucifer, white is Gabriel. Angel and Devil. Heaven and Hell. I'm prepared for both." He laughed. He had always thought that the names of his swords were fitting. They matched the name the marines gave him, at least. "Think that's weird? To give swords names, and call them that?"

Lana watched with interest as Kemuri pulled a weird-looking tool from her bag. She came soon to realize what the tool was. Dropping the materials close to the hole, she simply nodded to Kemuri as a response. "Sure thing." Lana answered, just as Calvin started telling them about Gabriel and Lucifer.

"Nah, I don't find it weird at all. Every weapon should have a name, as they're more likely to do the job for you if you're attached to them somehow, in my opinion. The names should fit both the weapon and the owner." she said crossing her arms, with her own swords in mind. With that, she jumped through the hole updeck, and landed swiftly below. Her eyes immediately started scanning for any obvious damage with narrow eyes.

"Lawless, There are rules, Sure, Every place has rules. Sometimes people choose not to follow them." Henry replied. "A small one you may never heard of." He told him remembering the days before he was taken away. How it was him and his people, before he was a slave, before he met Zane and before he was a pirate at the side of his captain.

Igneous stayed quiet for a moment as he looked down at the table, he only heard the voice of Henry and Matthew so he wasn't sure of what they had said but he assumed it wasn't important or atleast he hoped it wasn't. Coming out of his silent daze he caught the end words of his sentence apparently 'something unheard of' was the topic.

Cole had snuck off the ship and went around gathering what he needed from the shops and such as they others did their thing, sneaking back on he stayed out of the way of everyone, going up and sitting up in the crow's nest he watched the others from above As he hopped out and began working on his own projects. And as he did he'd check the others occasionally to make sure he wasn't missing anything important, though all they were doing was dealing with the bodies and talking all lot. Some of what they talked about was interesting, going to the grand line and such sounded fun. But he had already decided where ever this ship goes he will, his highways in the sky were just roped, set and ready to go and he didn't plan on breaking it down and moving.

He then heard them talking about named weapons,Cole had heard about something like this before but naming his gun was all too weird and difficult. Picking a name was hard and he had decided his didn't need a name cause it was more as a part of himself, just now thinking of weapons he remembered the next chore on his list and made his way back to the crows nest to work.

Alex had been helping here and there but she was tired not used to doing so much work. She saw the pile of dead bodies was take awhile to get use to that. She heard that Calvin guy say something about Grand line. She had no where really to go so she was hoping she could tag along. She went up to Calvin and said "I heard you say something about to Grand line mind if I come along?"

Calvin turned his attention to the girl who had spoken. It was the little girl who had helped them with the pirates. He kept silent for a couple moments, then laughed. "You want to come with us to the Grand Line? I dunno. It's pretty far, and it may be a while before we return here. Also, there will be pirates who were stronger than the ones we just fought. Some even with Devil Fruit powers. I'm assuming it isn't a place for little kids to be sailing around." He laughed again, patting the girl's head. "But hey. if you want to put your life on the line and sail with us, then by all means, join us. You seem like you can handle yourself, for a little kid." He chuckled and laid back down in the sand, closing his eyes. "Joker! Can I have your lighter yet? I need to get rid of these bodies sometime today."
