Fandom The Second Pirate Era (One Piece RP)

(lol )

"Oh I have money see." Alex had been wearing a backpack she took it off and opened it. It was filled to the with money and gold coins.

Lana took Alex' hand firmly, shaking it with a wry smile. "Nice to meet you, and welcome to the crew!" she said in a laid-back matter, finishing her plate with a satisfied sigh followed by a yawn she couldn't bother less to cover up. Figuring she would have her energy back once she got a good night sleep, she rested her hand on the hilt of her right-side Claymore waiting for Calvin's return. "I guess. There's probably gonna be enough supplies if we do well as a crew." Lana answered Nick with a shrug. The bartender took her empty plate and Lana nodded as a 'thank you' for the meal. As Alex opened her backpack, she narrowed her eyes in a concerned matter. "You shouldn't show that gold off too much, if there's people watching."

"Oh right." She closed up her bag and continued eating. She was glad no one asked where she had gotten it from. She wouldn't know how to answer.

"I don't sleep... That's something you'll learn in time... So I suggest you all spend the night in town unless you can sleep through the sound of construction..."

Kemuri had pretty much finished eating during the few minutes he was talking. She was disturbingly fast at eating for some reason, probably because whenever she was eating usually coincided with her working on one project or another and she always loved to down her own food. She ran her hand through her hair, handing over the empty plate and grabbing a loose board to fit over the hole.

Calvin nodded, taking the plate from her. "Well, we'll be at the tavern if you need us. Don't overwork yourself. I don't want you dead before we head out tomorrow." He turned and walked off the ship, throwing his hand up. "See ya. Joker." He started back on the path back to the village, swinging the plate around. He tossed it up into the air, then caught. The sun had gone down, but the stars gave of a lot of light. He stood, staring at the neverending expanse of shining spots in the sky. He then drew Gabriel from it's sheath, and pointed it out to sea. He smiled. "Someday, I'll see the end of land, the end of the ocean, and the end of the sky. That's what adventure is. Going where no man has gone before. But I'm just rambling." He sheathed Gabriel and continued in the path. He abruptly stopped, drawing Gabriel again and making a cut in a tree. He gave a satisfied nod. He then continued back to the village.

When he reached the tavern, he looked at the few people he had already recruited. He walked over to the group and dropped a few Berri on the counter. He looked at the three and yawned. "
I'm going to hit the hay. If any of you wake me before midday tomorrow, then someone will lose a few limbs." He chuckled and walked up the stairs to the second floor, going to an empty room. He unstrapped the swords from his sides, leaning them against the wall next to the bed. He kicked off his boots and laid down on the tough mattress. He stared at the ceiling, thinking of what would happen on the Grand Line and beyond. They would have trouble, but he would overcome whatever was thrown at him. HIs eyes started to droop.

He soon dozed off, the only sound being the voices downstairs and a faint sound of the wind outside.

As Calvin enterred the tavern, Lana had just finished her bottle of rum. She still had one night of renting the room upstairs, which was fortunate. "Alright, see you tomorrow, Captain." Lana answered and saluted jokingly as Calvin walked upstairs. Lana looked from Nick to Alex, with a satisfied grin. "Seems we're leaving tomorrow, so we'll meet on the beach. There should be a ship there. We'll be leaving with the high tide, so don't be late." she said with a wide grin, and stood up from the chair she had been sitting on for the past hour or so. "I'll be in my room upstairs, gotta get some stuff ready." With that, she waved shortly and headed upstairs. Safely in her room, she placed her Claymore's by the desk and sat down. There were pieces of paper and books all over, with a pen, compass and a protractor placed neatly on the edge. "This'll be a long night." she mumbled to herself and grabbed the pen and a clean sheet, drawing swiftly with a concentrated look.

Nick saw Calvin disappear, giving him a nod at the comment of getting some sleep. While Nick had no intention of going to sleep now, he did realize he would need to go pack, especially his equipment. "See you tomorrow Lana." This was not said in his usual blunt voice, but with a hint of softness as in to indicate familiarity. Applying himself as a friend would be important among this ship, for as people get stubborn upon going to doctors they do not know. He looked onto Alex, "I'm guessing you shall be doing the same?". A curios question for a curious girl, she was quite the analyze inside his head. At about 14 years old she was carrying around a bag of money, and was already accustomed to flaunting it. She seemed to answer briskly, as if to not wanting to reveal to much even by small talk. This led into possible directions that Nick didn't want to conclude to just yet.

Cole had noticed Calvin came back to the ship for a bit to talk to some girl that was fixing the ship,he didn't hear what they were talking about and didn't really care at the time. He was also not going to get any sleep tonight,he had too much to be done. When it started getting dark he lit the inside of a ball of glass and hung it up so he could see, with all the noise from below it was hard to concentrate and he had thought a lot about leaving and working some place else. But he couldn't thinking of any place that would be good other then here,so he'd have to deal with the noise and continue his work. He had his fish he caught before to eat for diner so he would last till morning, and the whole night he was up working on his weapons and his ropes to improve them.

Plus being alone he was about think things through and thought about all the people he's met, some he wasn't sure what to think about them, others he could determine whether they'd be trouble or not. But he wanted to know more about all of them, being on a ship with strangers has never ended well for him.

"Yes I was just thinking that." she turned to Nick and said "Do you know how much rooms are? I'm guessing you have to pay for one right?" She had no idea what to do maybe he could help her.

"Actually I have my own house here, but I doubt the rooms are that much." Nick was still studying the girl and realizing this girl would most likely respond to those who are laid back, but still had a sense of manners. Brushing his hair slightly he thought about asking her to sleep in the infirmary, but you could hardly call those cots beds.

"Oh ok " She looked around she wasn't sure about this place she wasn't use to it she came here on a pretty high class ship so her room was pretty good but didn't want to stay in place like this she wasn't use to it. Then again it wouldn't be that much better on the ship their getting on tomorrow. But still....... "Is there anywhere else I can stay like something more high class." Then really quickly said "I'm jus wondering.

"Unless boarded in someone's house then it is very unlikely." A slight chuckle escaped his lips, although his review wasn't exactly correct, but he was right in assuming the high class. She was quite young to be on her own, which was very alerting, but it wasn't his business. " I guess if it bothers you that much, then you could have the guest room in my house." This was a very trusting gesture, for he didn't allow anyone, but patients in his house. He hoped that this would create a friendship he could count on when on the ship.

A smiled appeared on her face. "Oh that would great thank you!" Great now she wouldn't have to sleep here and by herself to. She got up from the table and said "lead the way."

Nick sighed, it was a friendly gesture, but he didn't think she would take it. "Sure, the room hasn't been touched for some time, but I'm sure it will fit your liking.". He got up, approaching the back door and held it open for the girl. "It's a bit of a walk, but I'm sure we it would give me time to get to know you before letting you into my home.". A smile crossed his lips, for he liked the idea of her staying rather then one of the other vicious looking ones.

She walked out of the Tavern. Oh man whatever you do don't give away to much she thought herself. They started walking and she was looking around thinking about everything that happened today. It sure was crazy she actually killed pirates. If her mother knew she would have a fit. She laughed a little to her self. Then flying on that hover board thing was the most fun she ever had. "Man i'm glad I left." she thought out loud.

Nick saw the reminiscence in her eyes, but didn't bother tackling her day, instead find out her background. "Oh, and where did you leave from? To say it with such loathing it must have been quite boring.". She was quite the open book, even going far enough to think out loud. Not only was she apparently from a rich family, but left for an unruly cause.

Oh man mother always did say I talk to much. "No where special just a um place where I was bored at and decided to leave before and she and experience new things before I have to commit to something."

"What would you have to commit to? It couldn't be as bad as committing to sailing the seas." This girl was obviously a troubled soul. The fact that she was trusting enough to tell me either means that she is truly naive or just needed someone to talk to. No matter that, but she could also cause trouble if she ran away from people that were holding her. Whether or not they come after her could mean problems for the crew.

"You ask a lot of questions." Was all she said. She didn't know why he needed to know. So she changed the subject. "So what weapon do you use to fight with?" Maybe he would stop asking her questions about her. Plus she was afraid if anyone knew who she was that they would bring her back and collect the reward money. Her parents already put out a reward poster about bringing her back home. She put her hand in her pocket and grabbed the wanted poster of her and holding on to it while still in her pocket.

"Ah, well it's a part of my job, I didn't mean to sound nosy." He did need to know, it was a part of his job to have a psych report on everyone, but he doubted the possibility of getting all of those. She then asked about his choice of weapon, and while he took a hippocratic oath to himself, he didn't mind protecting his crew. "I hadn't really thought about it, never had to fight anything besides angry patients." He thought about all the things he could use, besides his father's long sword.

"Oh I had someone train me how to fight." They finally seem to come up to a house. "Is this where you live?"

Igneous stands up from the table and yawns then walks out of the tavern and looks towards the dock "I guess this will be the last night we will spend together" he thinks to himself as he peers at his boat and all the memories flow back through his mind. His eye's began to tear up but he sucks it up as he walks towards the boat he didn't want to look like a child crying about there departure, though he walked slow he reached the boat sooner than expected climbing aboard and laying down falling a sleep within seconds.

"Someone trained you huh, pretty neat." He looked up to see his house, connected to it was a dome like building. The dome was bigger then the house, but showed no signs of having a second story. The top was made of windows and the side was sleek white sides, two doors sprawling in front. "Yes, this is where I stay.", Nick walked ahead and unlocked the door, holding it wide for the girl.

Refaulted updated The Second Pirate Era (One Piece RP) with a new update entry:

Hey, everyone!

Alright. So, I noticed the RP was reeeeeeeally slowing down. This has come to my attention from a friend of mine. I assume it's the lack of action and progression, so I'm going to introduce...*pause for dramatic effect*...Timeskips! I find these necessary when moving from day to day in the RP. I don't want it to seem like I'm trying to rush the RP along, but I would like to start heading out to sea soon. I will usually let everyone know in the OOC section if there will be a timeskip, and they...
