Fandom The Second Pirate Era (One Piece RP)

"Oi, rope guy, mind fixing the sail for the bossy blonde woman steering the ship... I'm going ahead to the shore to make sure I have at least the basics for fixing these freaking things..."

She sighed rubbing the back of her head as she pulled her goggles down. Without bothering to wait for a response she grabbed the board and maid for the ships railing. Tossing the board out in front of her she hopped of the rail and on to it, kicking the gear as both board and rider dropped towards the water. The engine hummed softly as she shot towards the shore. Fixing boats wasn't exactly the greatest thing in life but she was a mechanic turned shipwright so she could get it done. Fixing wooden ship was no were near as complicated as her board or and of the other Clockwork Crafts.

Igneous thinks about "well atleast i'm not wanted right now and yeah a shichibukai caught him on a bad day" he tries not to let out his sadness because he knew that it would become anger and cause him to get revenge but he knows he is not on that level yet but someday. He looks at all the commotion going on and sighs "We should help I guess"

"Aye,oh yea..." He looked up to his mess and huffed,"guess I should get them down now..." Grabbing his rope he flipped back up to the rope the bodies were hanging from,he untied one part and all the bodies fell at once. Cole smiled," next." He headed to the sail to start repairing it,balancing on a rope as he walked to it." Bossy bossy people, never any fun." He huffed as he got to work.

Calvin plunked down on the deck and sighed. After today, he was definitely going to have to leave Dawn Island. He didn't want to bring anymore trouble to his friends and acquaintances, so the easiest thing would be to use the smaller ship to go out to sea, maybe even head to the Grand Line. He assumed that someone else could use the larger ship for their own personal reasons, so he would leave that to them. He sighed, thinking on how if he kept running, his bounty would keep going up and up, especially if it led to fighting the Navy. Not that they would pose any threat, aside from the Giants and Admirals. Though, that only meant he had to train harder, so they couldn't beat him at all. He watched everyone do their task, and then stood up. If he was going to tell people what to do, he should at least pitch in some. He started to grab bodies and drag them over to the pile near the middle of the ship. He looked up at Cole working. "I don't understand why you had to humiliate them like that. They may have been pirates but they were human beings as well. At least shoot them or something so they die swiftly next time you get attacked by a whole pirate gang." Or let them die by the sword. That was a way to die honorably. He placed another pirate in the pile and grabbed two more, hoisting them over his shoulders and dumping them in the mass.

Finishing up the sail Cole heard Calvin's comment on the way he dealt with the pirates," I did shoot some...but I ain't wastin all my bullets on easy targets, rope ya can use over and over again so I'm usin it.where did ya think I got my nickname hmmm?.....Unless ya wanna start buyin the material I use for my bullets that I would waste on 'em I ain't doin it...." He huffed.even when it came to his bullets he made them himself, though it was cheaper that way it was still annoying to shoot some worthless pirate with all the work put in it.

As soon as they got close enough to the shore, Calvin turned around and waved to Lana. "Stop here! We'll bring the bodies to shore on rafts. Since Kemuri is out probably looking for supplies to fix the ships, we're down a person. I'll help bring bodies to shore, along you two, Cole and Lana." He ran down into the ship and looked for any sort of raft or boat. He noticed a small dingy in the main storage room, and walked over to it. He breathed in and out, then heaved it up and over his head. It wasn't extremely heavy, but it wasn't light either. He brought it up to the main deck and wrapped rope around it, then looked at Lana and Cole. "Okay. Let's start loading bodies onto it. We'll lower it into the water after it's full, and one person will go with each trip to empty the bodies. I volunteer for that. While I do that, look for any more dinghies on ship." He started to load the deceased pirate's onto the boat, not waiting for any reply.

Igneous squats next to the bodies he had piled up in the corner with his large body he tried his best to hide what he was doing "Lets see if this works" he slides one hand under and the other hand on top of the pile then igniting his hands which burned through flesh like nothing and turned them slightly to ash with a few uncooked parts, which he tossed over bored "I think I am enjoying this to much" he stands up and offers help to Calvin "hey bossy guy I will help empty bodies"

Henry decided to stop watching and approach the rage tag group. He was bemused by the fact they choose to burn the bodies of these men. He found it would have been simpler and strangely more respectful if they were just drop in the great blue. A short and a marry life they had lead and at least they could have been sent to Davey Jones locker.

He walked up to Igneous who was enjoying burning these men. "Burning the bodies, Why not bury these men if y'all weren't going to send them to the great deep. At less check the bodies for useful tool and such." He commented.

He then turned his attention to the swordsmen. "So Swordsmen!" She shouted. "Does every Islander get some of the spoils from the catch.? It's only far. You know the people of Foosha are going to want in on what you got there."

Red Fox stopped the raised volume of the record player and climbed through the window putting on his hat to avoid the suns ray. His nice shoes clicked against the wood of the port with each step until he stood beside Henry. "Now mister tallman." He said referring to Igneous. "And company." He said referring to anyone else on the ship/ships. "Now I agree with this man here. First, we should give these men a proper burial. If we do burn them it will be separate and afterwards throw in the ocean for Davy Jones. Secondly... for gods sake use the dead mens tools and cash or whatever, they dont need it anymore. And third, I say we must give the town a cut, but as this towns saviors i will make sure you have your fair share. Seeing as all the town including the local sheriff are in the mountains, as a resident and temporary sheriff I will make sure you are all well looked after. Just now in the tavern, i have paid the bartender for anyone to come in and have free food and drink. I intended this to be for you. Seeing as how you all like to talk so god damn much, and swings your little swords, now I thought youd like a little rest.... So for now rest! The town will take care of the bodies... we will put these barrels on the port and we will cut it with you enough for a good time out on that there ocean. We people of foosha are simple people and use whatever we can so Im sure you understand. Lastly... whatever you find on those soldiers... are yours... i just ask that you refrain from taking there shirts and pants... shoes? Okay. Thank you. Now I expect you all to be humble guests and accept my invitation from this LOATHESOME heat... I will also pay for your rooms ok if need be. Now park up and lets get inside shall we?" He stepped to the side and waited for them. "On behalf of this town, Id like to thank you personally"

Calvin listened to the man talk, then when he finished, he stood there for a couple moments, then laughed, shaking his head. "There's multiple ways to do a 'proper' burial. And burning the bodies is one of them. These people fought, and if they were regular common villagers, I would bury them in a heartbeat. But they tried to invade my town, yes, MY town, since I lived here before, so they don't deserve to be buried on land. All the ashes will be swept up by the sea, so since they are pirates, they will be truly buried at sea, which is their choice that they made." He dumped another body into the boat and wiped sweat from his forehead. "The tools and weapons stay on the ship. Since we fought, we get the spoils. We protected the town without any assistance needed from them. And don't call yourself a 'person of Foosha' if you aren't from Dawn Island, please. That is a stab to the heart." He dumped another body onto the boat. "Also, I prefer to make decisions for myself, thank you." He smiled, leaning on the railing of the ship. Since they had fought, whoever defeated the pirates got the ship and the spoils.

"You say you are a person from here yet, you do not plead with the damages caused to the peoples belongings... riiiiight. With that gunpowder sold we could repair everything...As for the what to do with bodies i agree. And yes you do get make your own decisions. But ive been watching you now and you order people around like they are dogs. 'do this. do this. youre a complete stranger but do this.'... Now I can tell youre a natural born leader as I have seen many... but you must learn how to do it correctly or the ones you lead will grow to hate you or perish. Do not be the wrong kind of leader..." He puffed his cigar and smiled. "Anyways if the rest of you lot are not as grumpy and ill mannered I still invite ye to fill your bellies!" He kicked his heel beside himself and began walking in the tavern.

Calvin sat there and watched him walk off. He hadn't been trying to be bossy to the rest of them, but he had been able to analyze the situation quickly and had mainly focused on keeping the town safe. He hadn't minded the damage to the village because it was easily fixable, aside from one or two cottages destroyed. But he knew the villagers could rebuild. He had helped when they had been attacked by pirates before. He scowled at the man. He then sighed and looked at the remaining people on the ship. He thought of saying something but caught himself and shook his head. "Sorry, everybody. I'll take care of the bodies. Go accept that guy's invitation. That's not an order, just a suggestion" He stood up and continued to load bodies. He would be leaving tomorrow anyways, so what did it matter what he did now. He would have to check the supplies later with Kemuri or someone.

Henry chuckled at the balls on this man. He was happy to have one man agree with him. "This gentleman right here is correct. For all I know your just saying you lived her. I am from dawn! I came fro the gray terminal. You know where all the poor people are be at." He then stepped closer to the swordsmen. "I lived in Foosha for about 3 years since I left the gray behind." He was lying but he couldn't say no he didn't, He couldn't prove it. He then saw the man leave for the tavern. He choose to follow him but said one last comment to grinned at Calvin. "Maybe you are from this little town, Probably a coward who ran away during the towns bandit attack!" He said with a obnoxious grin. He heard about how this town was attack in the pass by bandits. "Looks like your all big and strong now eh?"

"Oi... Do any of you ever shut up...? Finish getting the bodies out of my way so I can fix the ships... Other than that I really don't give a damn..."

Kemuri sighed, exhaling a cloud of smoke before lifting her cigarette to her lips once more. At the same time her hand went to her hip, drawing her bow and swiftly pulling the string taut as she loaded an arrow. She didn't even bother to aim, she simply released the string, letting it whistle through the air and in to the sand at the base of the ship. She'd need it later. Jumping down from the board, which still hovered in the air she landed lightly in the sand. Slipping her hand beneath her skirt she withdrew a single sharp bladed dagger and slashed the thick cord hanging from the end of the board. There was a soft rumble as the heavy silver netting that had been trailing along behind her fell open to reveal her supplies for the task at hand. Tossing the dagger up and catching it lightly she stood in front of the board her gaze on the ships. An equally wicked grin curved her lips as she looked at the second male who hand joined them on the beach.

"You shouldn't talk about cowardice...since you watched from the town while the rest of us were off fighting... But that's just my opinion... I hate people who talk to much... Especially about things they don't know anything about..."

He stopped and looked backed at the white haired woman. "I don't think anyone was talking to you missy. Get back to doing what ever you were up too. I don't want to get vulgar with a lady." He told her then he let up a chuckle. "Oh wait of course I do but that gun you got looks preety powerful. Don't want my brain splattered across the sandy beach I prefer to die of old age or sinking with a pirate shit." He told her a he kept walking to the tavern. "So I'm going to go back to the tavern and you get back to doing what your doing, Either it be fixing the ship or being in the kitchen making sandwiches." That was Henry's finale fuck you to the woman.

Joker chuckled softly, half turning as she drew an arrow from her quiver. She notched the arrow to the bow, pulled the string taut, and released all with out the slightest change in expression. In the next second she repeated this action two more times. All three arrows hit the ground around the man, exploding in a cloud of smoke ash and sand. Of course they weren't meant to harm them. Only to alert him to her agitation. She smiled sweetly, dropping the bow back to her side. Exhaling the smoke from her cigarette as well as a bit of dark grey smoke of her own she dropped her hand back to rest on her hip.

"Don't worry darling I won't splatter your brains... I'll just make sure the pieces left are to tiny for any one to find and indistinguishable from the dust ash and sand... But like you said I am a lady and I don't want to be vulgar...oh wait yes I do... Don't fuck with me sweetheart... I'll break you..."

Calvin hopped in the boat and lowered it to the ground. Once it hit the water, he quickly rowed it to land and dumped the bodies in the sand. He then raised it back up and continued the task. It was tedious, so he decided to whistle a tune he had learned from his uncle. It was an uplifting type of music, which made his current task funny. Piling dead bodies while whistling happily. He then heard the man's comment and froze. He turned to the man and glared. He jumped off the ship and faced him. But Kemuri had already seemed to be handling it, so he laughed at her comment. "Cool it, Kemuri. Let's focus on the task at hand. He's just scared of us." He looked up at Lana, who seemed to be standing on the ship. He wasn't sure of her current task, but decided to leave her be. She seemed good with sailing, so he would let her do her thing. If he caught her doing nothing for a long time, he would speak to her about helping.

"... well that was unnecessary." Red Fox sighed as he swaggered in the tavern. The burst of cool air relieved him immediately makimg him take off his jacket, placing it neatly on a chair. He then went to putting two circle tables together in the middle of the tavern to make a big suitable dining area for everyone. He slid his chair back and placed his indiana jones styled hat on one of the chairs pegs, over his jacket. He ran his fingers through his dreads and beard to cool off as he stayed a moment to make sure his clothing didnt get ruined by some spectacular wind. He looked up at henry and smiled. "Please take a seat. Ill be just a moment friend." That done, he went back to ths record player and began playing some good big band music. While there he threw his cigar out the window and closed it. He slid his chair in properly, finished his whiskey and put the guitar case against the wooden tavern wall, along with the record player case. Satisfied he polished the record player with a handkerchief and headed off to the bar counter walking tall and with poise, but with tinge of gangster swagger to his step. His long jet black hair bobbed with each foot placed and he smirked as he came upon maurice and his bar. "How you doing maurice?" He spoke as the old man looked up. "Please have the boys in the back cook something good for my friends... that also goes towards their rooms... now ill be using the telesnail to contact the hiding villagers and my tailor, if you dont mind. All my good suits are gone now sadly..." Red fox said dissapointedly. He knocked on the counter and winked before walking over to other end of the tavern and using the snail attached to the wall.

Henry alone moved slightly as he realized the arrows were going for the ground in front of him. The arrows exploded releasing a bunch of dirt, dust and smoke. "Scary..." He said calmly to himself and followed Red Fox. He also heard what the Swordsmen said. Scared of them, What a childish thing to say. Surprisingly he had respect for them, The Swordsmen skill was quite adept for his age. He was only about 2 or 3 years older then him.

He joined Red Fox at the table. Red soon left as soon as he set down to turn on some music and order food. Henry himself thought about the spoils of the battle. Gold and berri was on his mind. He needed money, Only 5 berri to his name. He also wanted to leave the island since there was now a way off. Henry only wondered one thing, Were the marines on there way. Did the pirates just slip by or is it they don't give a shit about the people of foosha?

"I thought I told you to call me Joker... Well when it's just this group... If we get caught by bounty hunters or the Navy...actually don't worry about it..."

The female chuckled to herself, flicking the stub of her cigarette in to the sand before grinding it out. She moved towards the ship. Firing another arrow while she was at it. With two arrows embedded to the sand in front of the big ship she was able to set up for her work. Walking over to the arrows she grabbed the thin silver chord that emerged from the top of both. Tensing her legs for a moment she released them, springing in to the air to land lightly on the ships railing. Each of the chords had a small spiked tip which she embedded in to the wood of the railing. Turning she jumped from the rail back to her board, landing lightly on it before riding it back to the ground. Settling the board in the sand she got to work forming a lift between the beach and the ship, using a few gears and a suitable piece of scrap metal.

"Something troubles you amigo?" Red fox just finished on the phone with the tailor whod send him some suits. Red fix made a lot of money during his time of fleeing the navy. He found himself sneaking into the riches homes and stealing. When he became a teacher and hunter here he made good money here with honest work. Good enough to live simply and maybe start a family. Family was the last thing on the young fugitives mind though, because still had the dream of finding monkey d luffys treasure. He looked at henry though and focused on him. He took his hat from the peg and sat down, placing it on tbe table its self. He sat cross legged and with his right arm over the chair in a smooth relaxed fashion

"Nothing, Just the possible reason why they weren't stopped by the Navy, Did they not catch them or is it they don't care about this place. It is only a small village. If those pirates were hiding for the rich pigs then those guys out there wouldn't have touched those pirate cause the Navy would had destroyed them." Henry explained.

"So...Amigo, What be your name. Mine is Henry Sezar, No relation to Henri Caesar by the way." He responded.

"They probably just slipped through pretending to be mercahnts. This place is small so the navy probably thought nothing of it. They were probably in the mimdset of 'who would do such a small pillage?' Ya know? It seems they wanted two swords for some bounty or something. Thats what i heard when he was fighting the pirate anyways." He said nonchalantly as if there was nothng to worry about. "Mine is Matthew Mazda." He smiled hed said this lie so many times that he really did become this identity. "The locals call me the bombing bear. Last month a couple pirates came through and i blasted them away woth my bomb devil fruit powers... anyways im just a history teacher and librarian here. Thats my horse lizzy is outside.... its nice to meet you henry sezar." He said smirking at the caesar reference. "So what brings you here?"

Lana heard Calvin telling her to stop just after she had angled the ship to make it the easiest to drop the bodies. She swiftly hooked the wheel to prevent it from moving, dropped the anchor from deck and climbed up the mainmast to get the mainsail curled up and ready for use once again. Before Calvin had the time to give another order, she was back down on deck, watching as they dumped the bodies onto the boat. She felt her annoyance grow at the men by the beach, throwing comments like they were on top of the world. She was about to give them a fair warning, just as Kemuri shot arrows around one of them, and blew the sand up making it hard for her to see. Keeping her mouth shut, she figured they could handle themselves. At the invitation from one of the men on shore, she snorted and raised an eyebrow. "Our job here ain't done. I ain't going nowhere."

Kemuri's comment about bounty hunters caught her attention. "No worries, there won't be any bounty hunters here. They won't come as long as I'm here." she yelled towards Calvin and Kemuri with sureness in her voice, a smirk forming on her face. With that line, she turned on her heel and scanned the ship with her eyes to look for another dingy to load the bodies in. She noticed one, behind some barrels, covered in rugs. She smirked and shoved the barrels aside and pulled the rugs off. She pulled it to starboard side, and started dumping bodies with a bored look on her face.

Calvin sighed as he dragged more bodies to the pile. About half of the bodies were of the ships, so they were getting closer to being able to relax. He got back onto the ships main deck and noticed Lana putting bodies in another boat. She seemed to be able to hold the weight, so he continued with his task. He got to a giant pirate, who looked like he could stand way over Calvin if he wasn't dead on the ground. He kneeled down and took a few breaths before hoisting him up. He half carried, half dragged the pirate over to the boat and threw him on, then leaning on the railing and examining the remaining pirates. He noticed Lana in his peripheral vision. "You don't have to help if you don't want to, you two. The ship doesn't have to be fixed now, and the bodies aren't that big of a deal. I can handle it."
