Fandom The Second Pirate Era (One Piece RP)

Looking down below Cole had noticed Lana after hearing her and frowned, grabbing the ropes hooked around his waist he unhooked the grabblehooks hooks that kept it around him and threw them over to the top beams of the sails as he quickly jumped off the rope his stood on and dove down to her attacker. Also holding a separate rope in his hands he fell to quickly stop just above the guy, having the role he had hooked to the beams wrapped around his legs. Jawing the role in his hands in one swift move it was wrapped tight around the guy's neck as Cole jerked him up,he smiled." What do we have here, another for my collection?" He said annoyed at the fact he ended up using his own ropes.

"Ahh...." Red Fox should have known it was a pirate attack. He would gone home and gotten his gear but apparently the guy on guard fell asleep this time or something. He nods to Maurice who keeps his belongings safe, and throws Red Fox a rifle. With a win, Red Fox heads out the backdoor and takes the ladder up to the roof, where he finds two random men watching the fight as if enjoying themselves. Red Fox simply shook his head and put a cigar in his mouth, lighting it by snapping his fingers and causing a small explosion. He goes to a corner of the building and looks down upon the chaos. Cannonballs were exploding while men were running around like crazy. Thankfully those strangers helping to protect the town and tavern, so that Red Fox could offer air support.

He puts the rifle in his shoulder and breathes into it slightly. he then puffs his cigar and aims. He pulls the trigger and shoots a random pirates chest. The man double over grabbing his now exploded heart. Red fox was slightly dissapointed. He could really only do accurate close range, and precise explosions at this point without a gun, and not the other way around. He didnt mind not being too destructive though.

Calvin walked calmly up the steps to the main deck, shaking his Red Katana, blood dripping off the end. He looked around at the fight, noticing that they were winning. Lana and Cole were working on killing some big pirate, almost as tall as Burglar, and the little girl fighting some of the pirates as well. A bullet whizzed past him and buried in the chest of a pirate to his right, the pirate freezing mid-attack and falling to the ground. Calvin but his Red Katana back in it's sheath, and drew his White Katana, which he had fetched before coming back up to the top deck. He dodged out of the way of a sword and plunged his own weapon into the pirate's chest, looking around for Kemuri. He withdrew the katana and started to walk to the side of the ship, hearing the dull thud as the pirate fell. He looked down at where he had last seen the smaller ship, and noticed she was down there fighting a few pirates.

He jumped over the side and landed next to her, quickly disarming four pirates before diverting his attention to her. "
The Captain's on this ship! I'm going after him. Leave all of these guys to me, and help the others. There are a lot more on the big ship." With that he ran forward, hacking and slashing at each pirate he came across. His White Katana made a satisfying whirring sound as it flew through the air, almost like it was a hummingbird flying. He reached the door that led to the lower floor, and then to the Captain's quarters. He kicked the door opened and walked down into the darkness.

Red Fox followed the most active fighter, Calvin, shooting explosive breath bullets to any one coming his way. He followed him all the way to the big ships deck where he disappeared. Red fox took this moment to kill all remaining pirates on this ship, puffing his cigar all the while. It seemed he was finally spotted because a bunch of pirates began running towards the side of the building where the ladder was. Red Fox Duck walked over to the ladder and dropped some spit on them. He turned from the ladder hearing the explosion go off, then returned to the ladder to repeat the process with any stupid pirates who chose to climb.

"Yea I don't actually take orders from you... Just so were clear..."

Kemuri leapt, springing of his shoulder and on to the other side bringing her bow down with a heavy thud between the neck and shoulder of a large pirate. The spikes along the edge digging the bow securely into muscles and veins as she landed bringing the heavy body down a bit before tossing it into another group. Blood trailed across the deck and she drew and arrow from her quiver, notched it and released it. The bowstring hummed as the arrow shot across the deck landing amidst the pirates with another loud explosion. Grinning she took off running across the deck jumping on the railing then bouncing up and into the space between the two ships. She jumped backward with what seemed like little effort but soared high into the air and started notching and firing arrows at an incredible pace. Pirates started dropping all over the deck as arrows found purchase in chests, neck, and any other soft exposed area. She grabbed a rope scampering further up it to get a good look at what was going on with the larger ship. She clucked somewhat. She wasn't keen on letting Calvin have all the fun. Perched on the ships main mast she yawned exhaling smoke as her eyes trailed the fights. For now she would just play the watcher and take down whoever looked interesting enough.

"... Bro..." Red Fox puffed on his cigar feeling his face tense and eye burn. He slowly became more relaxed and happy. He smiled as he kicked his legs over the building, and occasionally shot a pirate. He soon grew bored and just laid his gun to the side, sparking his smoke up. Its not that he really needed to help... it looked like a one sided battle from the start, and pretty soon theyd be the winners...

He stood up after a while and climbed down the ladder, walking back into the tavern. "Yo moe!" He smiled. "Thanks for keeping my stuff safe."

Maurice was cleaning the glasses calmly despite the situation he winked at him, as Red Fox gathered his gold and package, then left. Red fox kept the rifle

Outside he put his stuff on the back of lizzy, and began riding away from the docks, still smoking.

Lana managed to pull herself back onto deck as Cole killed her attacker. Once safely placed on deck, she sighed at all the dead and unconscious bodies sprayed all over. Thanks to Cole, she wasnt one of them. "Thanks, you saved me." she said with a wry smile, not quite satisfied with having to be saved and put her right-hip claymore back into it's hilt. Surprised at the very few pirates left on deck, she figured they were either a powerful team, or this crew was a weak one. She searched what was left of the ship and boats, to find the group she had arrived with. This guy who had saved her was obviously present, the girl from the tavern was also standing here. She looked up and caught a glimpse of Kemuri. It seemed the only one missing from her sight was Calvin.

Lana stood up and turned her attention to the village, to observe the damage. The tavern was blown up by a cannonball, but why was there smoke as from an explosion closer to the mountains? She shook her head. Not much she could do about that at this moment. First, she has to find Calvin so her conscience wouldnt be haunted.

Cole bowed his head to Lana as a sign of your welcome and had hung her attacker up with the rest of the hung,he then chilled on his ropes watching as he let the rest of them deal with the little number of pirates left. He was slightly swinging back and forth wondering if someone was going to claim this ship,Cole planned on stayed with it whether someone did or not. It was a ticket out of here and to somewhere new. He oh so missed being on a ship,he was stuck on land for less then a month and it was already driving him crazy.

"... sniff... sniff sniff... hmm?"

As Red Fox trotted closer towards his home, he noticed the smell of smoke in the air. When he looked up he saw smoke, then finally he heard yells. "PASS THE BUCKET! ITS DYING KEEP GOING!"

"Oh god no! HYAH!" He smacked lizzy into a sprint before reaching his shack. As he suspected a cannonball had flown right through the middle of it and caused a small fire. Villagers were using water from a stream to stop the fire. To the side was his landlord, Mrs. Mayes. She looked at him and mouthed it was ok.

He nodded and quickly got off the porch, thanking his fellow villager as he stepped inside the ashes of his home. He looked for his prized possessions desperately, but finally gave up. He rubbed his forehead and began walking away from the rubble... but at the corner of his eye he saw his personal chest, guitar case, and plant laid neatly on the forest floor. He looked around confused, and wondering who helped him... but he was thankful.

One of the villagers let Red Fox borrow his wagon so could bring his stuff back to the tavern. It looked like hed be staying there for a while. Looks like hed have to buy some new clothes too. He had to keep his business casual look up somehow....

He rode into town solemn but happy that his belongings were safe.... he quickly noticed that the people were still fighting on the ships... he sighed and just wondered when it would end as he tied lizzy up and began setting his things on the ground...

Calvin kicked open another cabin door. He growled in anger and walked into the room that now had a broken door. He examined it, looking over the spacious room. It had a crazy amount of sacks in it, so he made a cut in one of them with his White Katana. Pieces of rice fell out, spilling on the floor. He sighed. Food storage. Not Captain. He walked out of the room, looking at each busted door that lined the hallway. He turned and continued walking. Burglar had said the Captain of the ship was in one of these rooms, yet he couldn't truly trust the word of a pirate could he? He chuckled and walked to the next door. He placed his hand on the knob and opened it up, looking at the rooms contents.

He stood there in awe at the various weapons that dawned the walls. There were spears, katanas, guns, shields, everything. He walked to the nearest one and looked at it. It was a pistol, crafted with an elegant design on it. He didn't care for any type of weapons but his own, but he stared at the gun with amazement. Below it was a plaque, with a name on it. It read:
Noble's Pistol, stolen from Loguetown. He frowned, wondering how the pirate's had managed to get such a thing. He heard the door close behind him, and spun around, blocking the machete that came down over him with his White Katana. He looked at his attacker, which was a slim man with a feather hat similar to Burglar's. He wore a red cape, an insignia on it. It was a skull with a feather sticking out of the top.

He kicked out at the man, but the pirate jumped away, holding the machete leveled with Calvin. Calvin held up his Katana level with the pirate as well. They stood there for a few moments, looking at each other. Then the pirate laughed, pointing at Calvin. "
You, sir, are the first to block the great Captain Feather's attack in a long time. I am truly astounded." He bowed, but still held the machete in a battle-ready manner. Calvin scoffed. "Not that tough, fruitcake. You were too loud for me to not hear. Now, enough ch-" He felt the hilt of Feather's sword slam into his stomach. He fell to his knees, coughing from when Burglar had hit him. As he looked up, he came face to face with his own. "This IS you, isn't it, Calvin Bento? I came here especially for you." It was a wanted poster, with Calvin's face on it:

Calvin was taking to long. Kemuri frowned jumping down from the line and on to her board which she cut loose from the raft. Gliding down she stopped by Lana, not bothering to speak and reached out to snatch the girl on to the board. She kicked the gear shift and SkyFire glided back to the small ship alighting smoothly on the deck. Stepping down off the board and on to the back of a sprawled out pirate she glanced around. They would have to look for him somewhere so why not start with the most evident place. Pacing across the deck to retrieve her arrows she began looking for signs of which way he could have went. For some reason she was worried for the strong willed idiot she had only just met. Sure he was loud and bossy, but he was the first person who had been friendly to her in a long time. Spotting a shattered door leading below the deck she smiled.

"Let's check that way yea...? We can't let the bossy one get killed can we...?"

Lana yelped in surprise as she was pulled on to the board. Quickly understanding what Kemuri had in mind, and she grinned as they left the biggest ship. Atleast she got to ride the board. "This device is awesome. You're a genius." she said as they jumped off on the smaller ship, looking around for any sign of Calvin. She noticed the door simultaneously with Kemuri, and nodded with a playful grin. "Lets go find this moron." she said and started for the broken door at a fast pace. Her hair dancing behind her as she went, her hands on her claymore-hilts in case Calvin had managed to get himself into trouble. She had a stern look, the viciousness now gone from her eyes.

Alex had been fighting quite a lot and she was tired never did this much work before. She had done training but never anything this hard. Most of the pirates were either dead or knocked out. She looked around to see where everyone was. She saw Kemuri grab Lana on to her board and went to the smaller ship which was close by. She remembered she saw Calvin go over there. He must be in trouble she thought to herself. So she followed them over to the next ship so she could go help out. When she got to the next ship she noticed Kemuri and Lana going down under deck followed with her swords in hand.

Calvin stared at his wanted poster, frowning. He looked away and scoffed. "That isn't me." Feather stood there, dumbstruck for a moment, then shook his head and looked at Calvin angrily. "What do you mean it isn't you? You look just like the poster!" He shoved the poster in Calvin's face, but Calvin kept his gaze on the wall. It wasn't good that someone had found his bounty poster. He had been trying to avoid any trouble with people, but it had escalated while he traveled. "That's my...twin." Feather facepalmed. "You suck at lying, kid." Feather raised his machete his machete over his head, smiling greedily. Calvin sat quickly brought his White Katana up, blocking the attack. He gritted his teeth. Feather may look weak, but he was amazingly strong. He glanced at the door, hoping someone would help him. His wounds from Burglar weren't healed, so he wasn't in prime condition. 'Where's Lana? Or Kerumi?'

"..." Red Fox stopped unloading his belongings and looked at the ship where calvin disappeared. "... looked familiar." He looked at the board next to him that hung outside the tavern wall. He saw his wanted poster which thankfully was him with his fox mask on. Then umder him was calvins... "..." Red Fox rubbed his face in thought for a moment. Then he threw off his shirt and suit and opened his chest. He put on his bearskin and grabbed his warrior knives, licking them to add explosive power. He then ran toward the ship. With a stomp to the ground he launched on to the ships deck near cole, lana, and kemuri. He already knew which way calvin though not the exact room. He climbed down in the ship and began running amd checking each room, getting closer to where the duel was taking place....

Lana stepped through the broken door with a concerned look. There was no sign of Calvin in here, just a bunch of rice and different kinds of meat. Her eyes trailed along the room, but as she couldn't seem to find any sign of Calvin ever enterring, except the broken door, she turned to leave, not even noticing Red Fox as she went. The familiar sound of swords clinging caught her attention, and she tured back around. She noticed another door, and looked back on Kemuri with a nod. She didn't say anything as she sprinted for the door and tried to turn the knob to get it open. "It's locked!" she said towards Kemuri and pushed her shoulder against it to try and force it open. It didn't even budge a little bit. Frustrated she pulled her right-side Claymore, and placed both her hands on the hilt. Furrowing her eyebrows, she raised her arms as far as she could and swung it with surprising force towards the door. It split in half on the middle, so she kicked it open and saw Calvins' face, and the back of a weak-looking man wearing a strange hat. Surprised at the company Calvin had, she got a confused, then a furious look on her face and pressed her lips together. "Hey, ugly!" she yelled to the back of the man, attempting to distract him.

'Tch... Of course he'd go get himself in trouble..."

Kerumi stepped through the door, well what remained of it, with a lit cigarette in one hand and her bow in the other. She took a look at the situation a slow grin coming to her face as she shifted her fingers along the grip of her bow. So it seemed like Mr. Bossy had gotten himself into a mess after all. She totally should have stuck around. Spinning her bow around a few time in her hand she stepped further into the room, moving to one side of Lana so that together both girls effectively blocked the door. She exhaled slowly a soft plume of deep grey smoke issuing from her lips. The only sign to those who knew her that she was not in the best mood. Sure Calvin was bossy, but she was kind of fond of the guy. He was entertaining at least. Catching a glimpse of the feather in the machete wielding pirate, who she was going to assume was the captain, she grinned.

That feather would look nice alongside the others...

He ended up in the food storage when he heard the girls run by. Stepping and seeing them in front of a doorway red fox slowly walked towards them until he smelles the air. "Sniff... sniff sniff...." he looked to his right and his hands started trembling. "G-gunpowder..," He looked in front to see the girls and then looked to the gunpowder room. Ever since eating the fruit he has found it was hard to resist tasting and smelling gunpowder. From the smell of it, it was of good quality.... "just a taste... they can handle it..."

Alex cought up with Lana and Kerumi and saw them blocking the door and a guy who seemed to be in the gunpowder room. She continued to the girls and said "Hey you guys need any help?" she said with a smile and her swords ready.

Calvin pushed Feather off of him, then looked to the the group that had appeared in the doorway. He laughed, sweat beading on his forehead. "Jeez, you guys are slow. What happened to you all?" He perked up and blocked another strike from Feather behind him. He gritted his teeth and pushed him off. He looked at Kerumi and the little girl. "Go check the rest of the ship. See if there are anymore pirates or people left on the ship. Take out the pirates and rescue any innocents. Lana, help me with this guy." He smiled, sheathing his White Katana and pulling his Red one. "Any requests from you two? If not, off to work." He roared and raised his Katana, bringing it down on Feather who easily parried it.

(Sorry for the late post. Have a friend over.)

Without taking her eyes off the pirate, who seemed to be the captain of the ship based on Calvins' struggle against him and the stupid feather in his hat, she laughed at Calvins' comment. "That's a story for later." she answered and pulled her second claymore from her sheath. This guy was amazingly difficult to read, but based on Calvins struggles, she made a note on the fact that he was strong, despite his features. "With pleasure." she mumbled as he practically asked for her help. She swung out the claymores in opposite circles above her head to create a double meeting slash towards Feathers back, quite aware that it made her chest-area an easy target. In order to take him down, she'd have to figure out what kind of fighter he was. Which meant, taking risks. Clenching her teeth together, she narrowed her eyes and braced herself for a counter-attack.

(Ouhh, a fwiend! I need one of those.)

"We walk in on him in a sticky situation and he's still bossy... Come one princess, lets leave these two to it... Save me the feather when you guys win yea...?"

Kemuri grinned resting her bow on the crook of her shoulder. She motioned with her head for the smaller girl to follow, her cigarette in hand. Her eyebrows rose slightly at the man in the doorway obviously preparing to sample some of the gunpowder. If she found him later she'd ask him how it tasted. Heading out in to the hall she made her way further into the ship looking for anything of use of any one to use her bow on. Minus the faint sound of swords clanging it was pretty quite. She exhaled a plume of smoke, rubbing the back of her head. Her expression told of her boredom. Finding another flight of stairs she headed down it supposing it either went to the cargo hold or the galley.

Calvin asked her and Kemuri to check the rest of the ship. She followed Kemuri they walked by that guy again this time it look like he was tasting gunpowder. Sure are some weird people here she thought to her self. They went further into the ship and found another flight of stairs it seemed it went down to the cargo hold. They walked in and looked around "There sure lot stuff here."

(got to go i'll be back tomorrow)

Cole had stayed out letting the ones who left deal with it all, while he was waiting he had started getting his fish ready to eat for later hoping he'd be able to cook them soon."shoot, didn't get to go shopping." He huffed remembering the list in his pocket of things he needed to get,"wonder if I got enough to get it all..." He pondered wasting time as he waited for the others.

"...BUUUUURP... oh scuse me hehe." Red Fox patted his belly and stepped out of the room, satisfied with the taste.... there was no fighting other than Calvins struggle against the pirate... seemed he had back up with Lana. He saw a little girl and the attractive board lady walked downstairs. Deciding that he was of no use here, and he'd probably sink the ship if he farted, he made his way down the hall preparing to climb to the deck. Before climbing though he yelled down after the two women. "Y'all need help down there?" He asked in a bored tone.
