Fandom The Second Pirate Era (One Piece RP)

"I met a few find bandits myself but yeah, There asshole most of the time. There all the same to me, All after plunder, If they do it by taking it or finding it. I don't see the problem from stealing from the rich though." Henry replied.

"Hmm. True...But you did say ya was a Pirate and that's a crime itself." He said smugly. He finished his drink and dropped it of bar ledge. "No Alcohol, you make me think your a boring fellow. "He then at another Ouster. "What I plan to do? Hmm, Work tell I can buy a dingy ride of to the see." He then grabbed another ouster and ate it. "Like fried ouster Igneous? Plenty here if you want."

Iggy chuckled "I did? I'm not a pirate or am I hmm Well I haven't did anything pirate like except sail the seas but I have no crew to join and having my own is a hassle but I am a strong ally to have so a crew would take me but not many to choose from" the title of pirate triggered a serious of thoughts in Igneous he grabs two oysters eating them whole "Thanks" he stopped in thought "So you must not be a pirate so what occupation are you following? by the way alcohol is not for me" he takes a sip from the drink he had received.

Calvin shrugged at her apology. "Don't worry about it. It wasn't you who killed them." As she pulled the Wanted poster away, he reached out and snatched it from her grasp. He opened it up and looked at the man on the cover. He seemed like an older guy, with the gray beard and all, but he couldn't really determine that with the hat. But he had wicked ugly teeth. He shrugged again. "No, I don't know him. I just got back from training, so maybe someone else saw him?" He looked over at the two guys talking about bandits and pirates. He scoffed at their conversation and took another sip of sake, now thinking between the Wanted pirate and the two men who were speaking to each other. As his eyes browsed the crowd, he noticed that a lot of people had their eyes turned away from him. He frowned, wondering what was wrong with everybody. Had something happened while he was away?

"I'm sorry, I mean sense your pops was a bandit but you were most likely a child right Never stole? Doubt it, He must of taught you some of the way of the bandit." He said correcting himself.

"Me, Maybe just keep fishing or even just stay here and work. Find a girl, marry and have a kid or 2. I could become a hunter, I got the skill to do it." Henry said as he patted his jacket were he kept his throwing knives. He also carried daggers that were magnetized to each other on his waist. Henry grabbed a ouster and sucked the meat out. "Umm, Good food."

"Well as a kid I stole so that my family didn't get into trouble because of me" he grabs another oyster then takes a swig of his drink the combination was amazing the two flavors complimented one another like peanut butter and jelly "Come on and you call me boring a family and kids working a boring job. I't maybe a dangerous job but think about exploring the world with a crew that becomes your family and together you encounter many obstacles but are rewarded by your adventure and the future stories you can tell then you can vanish and have kids" he spoke enthusiastically and with charisma "due something you will be proud of not something easy and safe, I'm not saying being a pirates good it's not for everyone especially the weak but I doubt your weak" he smirks then grabs a oyster and a drink.

Kemuri sighed softly to herself, the action causing a plume of pale purple smoke to slip from her lips. She was bored again, and by the looks of it probably lost. She had been riding SkyFire, her Clockwork Craft board, for what felt like days now with no break and her legs were starting to get tired. But it wasn't like she could just stop either. She was gliding through the air above the vast blue expanse of ocean, the wind tossing the loose white hair of her bang in her face and across the lens of the goggles she always wore when flying. She had taken off about three days ago from an island that was so dull she couldn't even remember the name. In the past couple of years she had taken to hopping from island to island, exploring the world a bit at a time and usually making some money working as a shipwright as she did so. But as always she eventually grew board and felt the need to move on to bigger and grander places. There had been a lot of people who had tried to get her to settle in one place or another over the years, trying to convince her that settling down and just making money at what she did would be better for her. But she was restless by nature, always seeking out some new thrill or adventure. It had all started with the mess on Clockwork Island, every since then she had sought any and every challenge she could. She was lost in her thoughts when she became aware of the soft sputtering sound coming from her board.

That doesn't sound good...

The thought was confirmed moments later when the board started to loose stability. Judging from the whining sound coming from it one of the engines was shot. She began cursing under her breath, running on one engine it was only a matter of time before she went down. And it just so happened that she was still over the open water, her greatest enemy. She sighed trying to push the board a bit further, hearing the engine whining a bit louder. In the distance an island was rapidly coming in to view. If she could just make it there. She pressed down harder on the throttle, the board straining to pick up speed with only one engine. It was starting to sway, the stabilizer undoubtably shot, and she had to focus jsut to remain even and upright on the moving board. She scowled as the land came closer, she had a chance at making it. Then with a loud noise the other engine gave. The board started dropping out of the air and towards the water. Growling in irritation she did the only thing she could think of. She pushed of the board, the lower half of her body turning into thick black smoke, Grabbing the board in a curl of smoke she hurtled towards the land.

She was a terrible flyer when it came to using her Smoke Smoke abilities, the main problem being she rarely if ever landed smoothly. And this was no exception. Still moving at the same speed as when she had kicked of the board she came closer to the land. She sighed bracing herself for what was most certainly not to be a graceful landing. She hit the ground just beyond the tavern with a loud crash, rolling a few times as her board skidded away across the ground. Her lower body returned to normal and she rolled on to her back. Her entire body hurt but she grinned none the less reaching up to pull her goggles back to the top of her head.

"D**n that hurt..."

Calvin heard the crash from beyond the tavern. He stood up quickly, knocking over the stool he had been sitting on. Everyone else seemed to be puzzled by the random commotion that had been heard from outside. His hand immediately went to the handle of his White Katana, pulling it out slightly so the base of the blade shown. If it was some sort of fight happening, then it could easily be dispatched, but it didn't sound like that anymore. Maybe it was some machine problem? He ran over and kicked the door open, bursting out onto the dirt road. He looked around, people piling in the door frame behind him, watching. He noticed a small plume of smoke coming from a little ways away, rising from where a body was splayed out. He ran over and saw it was a girl, younger than him, with red eyes and white hair. He still kept his hand on his sword, but knelt down next to her and looked her in the face. She seemed fine enough. The worst she would probably get away with would be a wicked nasty bruise. He narrowed his eyes. The plume of smoke was coming from a sort of board next to her. "Well, lucky you didn't break your neck on that decent, kid. What the hell is wrong with you? And who are you?" He looked back to see if anyone was coming, but saw most people were staying by the tavern. He wondered if Lana would come out to investigate as well.

Kemuri's gaze shifted over to the male crouched beside her peering intently into her face. She frowned at his reference to her as a kid. She wasn't all that old but she wasn't a child either. Rummaging in the pouch on her side without bothering to sit up she pulled out a cigarette and a match. She put the cigarette to her lips, striking the match on her corset, before lighting it. She sat up, exhaling the smoke along with her usual pale purple cloud mixed in. She smoked so that people wouldn't question the smoke that would come out of her mouth the moment she opened it anyway. Taking another slow drag she rubbed the back of her head, glad her body had instinctively turned all her important areas into smoke when she hit the ground. She spoke the smoke coming out of her mouth like a slow exhale.

"You ask a lot of questions don't you...man your noisy... I'm Kemuri, but you can call me Joker... And nothings wrong with me... My board broke down midflight..."

She waved a hand absently, rising to her feet and dusting herself off. She took another slow pull of her cigarette and went to go examine her board, the rifle strapped to her back bumping against her hip as she did so,

Calvin's eyes didn't lose focus on her. As she examined her board, he sighed and stood up, pushing his White Katana back into its sheath. He waved the smoke away from him. It was a habit he had never wanted to take up, and glad he didn't. He looked back at her, then sighed again. "Well, Joker, I ask a lot of questions because you're some random kid who fell out of the sky with a rifle strapped to her back sending a smoke trail on her decent. I believe I have reasons to be concerned and suspicious." He walked over and looked down at the board. So it was some sort of flying board? He had never seen one before, but he had heard that it was possible to make one. He ran a hand through his hair and thought of what to do with this girl. A girl didn't fall from the sky everyday, at least not in Foosha Village. He kept flicking and pushing his katana out and into its sheath, making a clicking noise while he thought.

Kemuri didn't respond other than with another slight wave of her hand. Her intention instead was on SkyFire, she had turned the board over and pulled a screwdriver from the pouch on her side. Unscrewing the boards base she sighed, the action causing a plume of smoke to rise from her mouth. She put the cigarette back to her lips, scratching the back of her head, her fingers brushing against one of the large feather hanging in her ponytail. The stabilizers gears were completely out of whack and the both engines had over heated. Rummaging in her pouch she pulled out a few more tools and an assortment of gears. Lazily she began taking the inner mechanics apart, laying them on the metal base of the board in neat little rows. After a moment she withdrew two small cylindrical containers that were partially filled with black sand. She held them up to the light, checking for cracks, satisfied there were none she glanced back at the male who was still standing near by.

"Hey if you want to be helpful can you go put some seawater in these things...and don't spill any of the sand..."

Calvin watched her work, fixing this weird invention. When she handed him the two cylinders with black sand in them, he scoffed. "What am I, your servant?" Even though he said this, he was mildly interested in the discolored mineral, so he took them out of her hands and started the trek to the small beach by the docks of the village. He pulled off his boots and waded into the water. The water felt good on his skin, and he smiled. He bent down and filled the two cylinders with seawater, making sure he didn't spill anything out of them. When he finished he stood back up and looked out on the horizon. He stood there for a few minutes, looking at the waves flowing in the distance, and the seagulls flying in the sky. This was why he loved the ocean. It was all the freedom it offered. And someday, he would let himself be free from anything and everything. He closed his eyes and inhaled through his nose, letting the smell of the sea rinse through him. When he opened them again, he noticed two small specks on the distant horizon. He shielded his eyes from the sun with his hands, trying to see what it was. They looked like rocks, most likely there from it being low tide. He waved it off and waded out of the water, picking up his boots and walking back to Kemuri. When he reached her, he held them out to her.

From where he was Cole clearly watched as something or someone crashed from the sky," ehh...?" He wasn't sure if he should go check it out or leave it be for someone else to find. Shrugging his shoulders he packed up deciding to go have a look,he had his three fish and everything else he needed so why not. Getting everything together he dove into the water and quickly swam to the docks, getting up on the land he quickly got up from ground and took the high route to where he saw what ever it was crash. Hopping over to the edge of the building he was standing on he squatted down looking down at some girl and dude,he huffed."so it was nothing special...." He puffed his cheeks out in disappointment as he sat on the edge of the building letting his feet swing back and forth over the edge, watching the two below hoping something interesting would happen.

Kemuri chuckled softly stubbing her cigarette out in the sand as he walked away. She wouldn't be able to work with only one hand anyway. While the male was off filling up the cylinders with water, per her request, she got to work on fixing the stabilizers. She cleaned and checked each of the parts, replacing what gears she had to. By the time he came back she had just finished tightening the last gear back in to place. Leaning back slightly she took the cylinders from him, gazing at the contents. They were satisfactorily filled so she gave the containers a vigorous shake. The sand sloshed in the liquid for a while before it finally started to react, combining with the salt in the water to turn the liquid a bright blue. Grinning she sat the cylinders on the board and got to work cleaning the engine pieces she would need to place back in first.

"Thanks... By the way you never did tell me your name... Oi and you too, stalker on the building... Introduce yourself or do you not have any manners..."

Kemuri glance over and up to the roof building on which the black haired male was sitting. She had crash landed in a town full of weirdos. Shaking her head at the though she repressed a chuckle, though a small snort escaped her anyway, along with the faintest plume of smoke. Within a few minutes she had the engine basically back together and placed the cylinders in. Checking it over with her eyes to make sure everything was in place she nodded her satisfaction and placed the board's metal base back into place. Cranking the small dial like disc on the bottom she waited to here the engines hum to life, grinning slightly when they did.

Man I'm good...

Calvin looked up at the guy sitting on the edge of the roof. He laughed, pointing at him. "You should work on your stealth if you're gonna spy on us, buddy." He then sat down on the ground, leaning back on his palms. "I'm Calvin." He watched the sand and water start to glow, mesmerized by it. He had never seen something like this before, and it was cool. He looked behind him quickly, and noticed that the rocks he had seen before looked to be closer. He frowned, wondering what they were. Ships? Maybe visiting the Goa Kingdom. He turned back to Kemuri's board, and watched her work. He did the same clicking thing with his katana as before, his eyes intent on the fixing of her board.

(Last post for tonight. I'll be on tomorrow, though, most likely at 3:00 EST in the afternoon. G'night all!)

Cole was about to get up seeing as nothing interesting was happening but then he heard the to address to him and he glare at them with a pout." What stalker...? If I was stalking OR spying on you wackos yal would have no idea I was here." He stuck his tongue out at them very confident in his words, flipping over off the side of the building he landed on some barrels and sat on them instead getting tired of having to look down. They were strangers yes but he was bored so he went along with it," name's Cole, but most people call me Hanger....for very obvious reasons..." The last part was more to himself as he realized why he was nicknamed that. As he spoke he was checking all his things making sure his gun wasn't damaged and the fish hadn't fallen through the net he kept them in.

"CAPTAIN! HELP US! HE-UGH!" "OH GOD NO PLEASE, NOT TH-" "CAPTAIN... ITS NOT OVER YET... LONG LIVE THE RED FOX PIRATES AAAAAaaaggghhh..... Dawn Island, where the great luffy grew up... cant believe we never saw it together... promise us again that youll see it. Just like you promisehhss... "

"hooo....hooo..huhuhuhuhuh-aaaAAAGGGHHH!... huh...huh... gulp... ooohhh... the same dream..."

For Red Fox, no... for Matthew... this has been happening for the majority of the 3 or so months since hes been here. Hes been getting the same dream... its just darkness and voices. The voices are in pain... they-they were the cries of dying men. Men who relied on him, but he coukd not do anything. He doesnt know whos killing them, though he guessed the marines. Red Fox assumed this was right before he was captured and brainwashed... recently his memories have been coming back though. Well these voices to be technically correct. He wondered what kind of men they were... but most of all... what kind of man was he? Was he a man capable of leading, a man so dangerous and hated that the marines would do such a thing?

After getting off the cursed winter island, Warriors Island as he called it, Red Fox woke up on a sky island. They saw he flew from the sky. After discovering his new found powers, they theorized that his arrival was explosion related, and that he literally blew in the sky. With their help they arranged a safe route, and ship to get to east blue safely. The people warned him of the dangers of traveling as Red Fox, which confused him, because he forgot who he was for a while. They told him he was a notorious sea captain, and treasure hunter, who had weird fetish for killing, bad music, and history. Confused he grew a beard, grew dreadlocks, went on his journey...

After island hopping for a while he made it to Dawn Island. He really only came to see the island where one of his heroes grew up... but suddenly began having the dreams. He decided he would start a life here and wait, even though he badly wished to go back to Paloma Republic... he felt though that with his bounty... he could never truly have a home again...

So he worked and lived as Matthew Mazda . He was a librarian and history tutor for the kids during the day, then a musician, horse racer, and hunter by night. Today however was his day off, even though he had some rabbit skins to sell to the tavern owner today... plus he had to pick up a package too...

".... up... here we go." He sighed as he got up and rubbed his eyes. He looked around his small, bare, but naturally well lit, shack . It was in the forest, a place a ways from town so he could train in peace. He rented since he did not think he would stay for a long time, and plus he wanted to save some berris. It had what he wanted and needed... He walked over to his desk a felt over a large bear fur, then transitioned his hands to two long trench knives. He smiled, feeling proud of his surviving Warriors island, as he could still remember what the tombstone read to this day. He looked to the windowsill which a had a plant from his home country growing. It was a great medicine plant, that was growing nicely...

After getting ready and deciding to get breakfast at the tavern. He stepped outside and patted his horse, Elizabeth, as he checked himself in a shattered mirror set against his house. He hoped it would freak people out and avoid company, however it seemed the town didnt care and occasionally dropped by anyway with a pie or fresh fish. Deciding he looked ok, he slung his bag of skins over Elizabeths back and lifted himself. "Good Lizzy..." The donkey was owned by some old farmer who said he was going to leave this boring old town, since he was going to die anyways. He was selling the horse for cheap, and she was big and strong so Red Fox got him. She's been a good investment ever since.

After a while it seemed like a normal Saturday. The trail from his house to the road was quiet, then as he made his way towards town it was busy. Mrs. Clara sold her famous pies, a nice plump old lady. Mr. Lynch at his pawn store... a real tough guy. It was nice though, he waved to people as he trotted towards the tavern. "Hey Mr. Matt. I got a 100 on your test!" A brunette young girl about age ten said. "Nice job Sara! See? Youre smarter than you think!" She blushed as he heard a "BOOM!" To his side. Two young boys were play fighting. One was wearing a big coat, and held two knives. The other was a pirate with pillow in under his shirt to look fat. "Get out of here Belly Brooks! Dont you ever come here again. Bomu Bomu no BOOOM! Oh hey! Its the town hero!" Red Fox chuckled a bit. "Be careful with your brother tommy... and you have a book overdue... so return it." He said seriously, before smiling.

Red Fox soon arrived and hopped of Lizzy, tying her on one of the taverns poles. He looked to his right and saw a small group forming.. probably just travelers. He shrugged and grabbed his skins, heading inside.

Lana heard the crash loud and clear, and noticed Calvin rush outside to check what the ruckus was about. She had already engaged in a conversation with the bartender about the man she was searching for, and continued on. I should probably head outside.. He's been gone a while. She thanked the bartender with a short nod and raised quickly from her barstool. "Stay here." she whispered to the girl who sat next to her, and turned on her heel. She almost walked straight on to the table where the two men talking about 'bandits' and 'pirates' earlier were sitting. "Sorry, I was headed outside." she said and smiled wryly before rushing outside. She held one hand on the hilts at each side of her hips, ready for what sounded like an attempted attack.

The sun shone straight into her eyes, and even though she couldnt see much she walked on. When her eyes had finally settled in the bright sun, she noticed Calvin, and a girl and another boy she hadnt seen before. "Hey, I got here as soon as I.. Holy... What the hell is that thing?" she uttered in awe at the device the girl was working with.

Calvin shrugged, still watching Kemuri work. "Some sort of flying board. It looks cool." He started to scratch his teeth again with his index finger, making the clicking noise. He looked up at Lana. "So, any luck in asking about that pirate guy? I forget his name." He laughed, then noticed her hand on her claymores. He pointed at them. "What, were you planning on killing us? No need to be so uptight." He laughed, then waved away the cigarette smoke that was still in the air. He refrained from touching his other katana, sticking to making the noise only with his White Katana. "Lana, this is Kemuri, a girl who fell from the sky. Kemuri, this is Lana, someone I've known for a couple minutes now." He laughed again. He checked the two rocks in the distance, and noticed that they WERE getting closer. So, they were ships. Probably merchant ships or Navy Vessels. He hoped it wasn't the Navy. Those uptight idiots annoyed him to no end. He scoffed and turned his attention back to Kemuri's work.

"Yo Maurice! Can I get the usual?" Red Fox smiled as he walked in the tavern, and sat at his normal seat at the end of the bar, near the back door. He was always on cautious side, almost always expecting the day a marine ship rolls in. Its already happened, thankfully he lives away from town so its cool. "Aye old man I got your skins. You got my stuff?" He asked the old gray haired bartender/owner. "Ive got your things young man.... and dont call me that." They exchanged berris for the skins and soon the old man went under his bar and pulled out a bag with something heavy in it. "Nice... Ive been waiting for my dad to send this.... thanks Maurice." The old man winked at him and in 15 minutes he served him an omelette with pancakes and orange juice. ""Gracias." He smiled and dug in setting his package to the side....

"Seriously? It looks awesome. I wanna try it." she mumbled with a hint of jealousy. "Somewhat. He seemed a bit nervous, and didnt wanna answer too many of my questions. I'm quite sure he's still here." When Calvin commented on her grip of her claymores, she noticed she was still holding onto them. She loosened her grip and smirked. "Oh, yeah, I thought someone was getting attacked out here. You fell from the sky, huh? Nice to meet ya." Lana smiled and raised an eyebrow towards Kemuri, ignoring the sound of clicking coming from Calvins mouth. Her eyes moved to the other boy she didnt recognize. "Who's this fella?" she asked, but noticed Calvins attention was turned towards sea. She turned to check what he was looking at. She felt a tight knot in her stomach. Ships? Something didnt feel right. Once again, she felt her hands weap around her claymore-hilts, and her eyes turned from somewhat neutral to vicious."Hey.." was all she managed to say.

"Family men get to kick the ass anyone who dates there daughter, That a fun thing to do I think." He replied with a joke. "I still can get drunk and black out."

"I lived it, things didn't go so well. He thought fisher men would have a revolt." He replied. Henry then smiled at what the man said. "Igneous my friend, Those are some wise words for sure." He then heard a loud noise, The sound of a crash. "I wonder what that was?" Henry got up away and looked pass the crowd of people but was still in the tavern.

"Well Igneous, This idiot just fell from the sky...thought angel would be hotter." He joked. "Seriously, How did this even happen?"

Igneous wasn't to worried about what was going on but he decided to check anyway, he easily looked passed the crowed "Well she's not dead barely looks injured from here, dumb but a nice landing I don't know exactly but that technology is smoking so yeah make an assumption and you'd probably be right" he sounded serious but not very engaged it had seemed his problems weren't completely over "there's no way those cousins of mine left I should-No let it go Igneous no family blood shall be on your hands" he drinks the rest of what he had "I'm going to get a better look" he walks outside "yep I was right a thingamajig had crashed"

Cole had turned his attention to the new girl now and thanks to Calvin he got both the girls' names, but he looked confused when he heard something about some 'pirate guy'."well that would narrow it down to hundreds...."he whispered and chuckled. He didn't notice Lana wanting to know who he was cause his focus turned to the people that also had come to see what was up,he didn't want to be crowded and planned if any others come he'd be heading back up to the roof. He started listening to what the others were saying but his eyes were still focused to the other people wanting to know what's going on.

Alex heard some commotion going on out side and decided to see what it was. She went out side and saw a girl working on some kind of machine she had never seen before. She went to where the others were in aw wondering what that was.

"Wait none of you have ever seen one of these... Well not this exactly but you know... It's a Clockwork Craft, I designed it myself, called the SkyFire..."

Kemuri wiped her hands off on a rag that she had pulled from her pocket. Packing her gear back into her pouch she stood, flipping the board over with her toe. The engine made a soft noise and the board began to rise slightly from the ground. Hopping on it she decided to take it for a bit of a test, nothing to high and definitely not back over the water. Slipping her foot back to hit the gear and the pedal she grinned at the board rose higher and then zoomed of towards the beach. She was already a pro at riding the thing by now so she made it to the beach in no time flat. On her way there however she caught a glimpse of what appeared to be ships moving closer to the island. Her eyes narrowed, hopefully they were just merchant ships. Pirates or Navy would have spelled trouble. Veering along the beach she headed back to the small group. Hopping of the board and catching it in her hand as she did so.

"Well she works... But with those ships coming in I don't think I'm going to jet just yet..."
