You're Done!
Calvin heard soft footsteps, and turned his head in the direction he heard them from. It was the same little girl from before, the one who had ordered the sandwich from the bar. She walked over and stood a little bit behind them, looking over his head at Kemuri's board. She seemed to be interested in it, from the obvious awe on her face. He laughed, then looked back at Kemuri testing the board. The little girl seemed harmless, so she didn't have to go away. All of them were pretty interested in it. He looked around, wondering where everyone else was. Now the town looked pretty deserted. What was happening here?
Suddenly, there was a muffled boom. He froze. It was distant, and probably just Goa trying out some new cannon type. But it still made him freeze. His breath caught in his throat. He jumped up, and looked back out to where he had seen the approaching ships. There was another boom, a little louder this time. It was definitely a cannon. And those were definitely not Navy ships. He gripped the handle of his White Katana, and started to run to the docks. His legs propelled him forward with intense speed. When he got to the edge of the longest dock, he put a hand over his eyes to block the sun out of his vision.
They were approaching fast. He could barely make out the color of the two vessels. One was bigger than the other, a dark red color, while the littler one was light blue. Another boom, and there was a huge splash of water next to him. Water flew around him, drenching him. He growled, then took a deep breath. "PIRATES! EVERYONE EVACUATE TO GOA OR THE MOUNTAIN! NOW!!" He ran back and over to the farthest dock, looking for his raft. He found it finally, and jumped onto it, working on untying it from the pole.
