Fantasy The Return of Corruption

[QUOTE="Paint The Wind]"Where is he then?" she cried.

(He smashes down and dies on impact. "Uh nowhere he's nowhere you're right he's dead)

Land came into view, but was still too far to tell where they were headed for
The feather fall slowed them, but after a couple of seconds, they were right back to the same speed. They were moving far too fast for their magic to be sensed by anyone unless they released a massive amount

Ari had the plan down, but they still needed to bide their time. They had to be closer and they needed more magic in general. Xocotzi couldn't be summoned at that altitude. It wouldn't be so simple as to summon her though, as their massive speed would prevent her from flying completely. Ari had a plan

"Been a pleasure friend. Hey what was that one new thing you're fighting for? I'll tell you- I fight to prove them wrong. The non believers. I fight so that I can say that I did something. " He cast his fly spell to try and slow it down, he cast windwalk. It slowed down drastically for a few seconds, then plummeted again. They continued to plummet. He sang again: "now I look upon the headsman's block it is there I take my knee...may his axe be swift and sharp so I may finally be free"

Raziel stood there, thinking. Maybe this was a mistake? The book was sinister, so it could have negative reprecussions... but, if Ceralder used it before, earlier... it couldn't have been. Unless he's plotting against me... Raziel thought for a second. But he has no reason to, after all he doesn't remember himself. Unless he did not believe me, and wants to kill me? I have to prepare... Raziel thought. The Hellreaver didn't appear in his hand, but Raziel set it on the Light setting, in order to kill anything unholy that may crawl out of the book. He also prepared the Sunlight Glyph. It was just a precaution, he still had some trust in the Lich.

Ceralder unlocked the book, and it popped open. A large tentecle would pop out, and grab Ceralder. "That's new," he would say as the tentecle would proceed to pick Ceralder up, and begin to smash him against the floor.

Raziel looked at the book as it opened, wondering what kind of powerful, arcane knowledge would be inside. Only to see a big, squid-like tentacle grow out of it, as Raziel dropped the book onto the ground, being startled by it. "Elder God, is that you?!?" he yelled, mockingly and due to being startled. The Hellreaver appeared in his right hand, as he tried cutting the tentacle in half.

OOC
Yes, that joke\reference with the Elder God was very intended.

It'd cut the tentecle, but would cause it to smash Ceralder against the ground harder.

(I had planned on making it just pop open, and be a demonic shopping list, but the tentecle seemed funnier. And I understood. The tentecle was a hopefully clear reference to Cthulu)

"Bailey had her loved ones killed. Tyr had his loved ones killed. Arabelle's been through Hell and back, as well as having her loved ones killed. Cross has gone through shit with the 'Family.' getting his loved ones killed. I haven't had none of that shit. I ain't part of their Trauma Group and I don't want to be. I see first-hand what death does to a person, and I'm done being the Black Assassin. I fight so my kids won't have to. Elaina, Noam, my new Twins, and my wife-to-be. Look at Toron. They don't deserve to be fighting for their life like this."

Land was in full view now. They were about to crash in Toron. Ari focused back in on the task at hand. "I've got my plan down! You ready for it?"

OOC: WARNING! THE FOLLOWING POST CONTAINS: Lots of comic relief

Raziel Cedliethal

He quickly cut the tentacle at it's root, then changed the page to another one. He let out a relieved sigh and looked at Ceralder, who's bones were still probably rattling from the impact. The sinister, black book of demons... contains tentacles. Who knew? He looked at the book again, recognizing the runes of page one. "Okay... let's see what we have here." he picked up the book, into his left hand and cleaned his throat. "One. Milk. Two. Mortal Soul." His eyes gauged out in surprise. "Three. Flour....? Four..." he stared in confusion. "Mix up the indgredients and- This is not arcane knowledge, this is a recipe for... Soul Pie?" he looked at in confusion, then at Ceralder "What kind of demonic book is this?" with a heavily disturbed tone.

Ceralder shrugged. "Maybe a personal notebook."

"Come on, it has to have something good in it." he said, with a dissapointed, grumpy voice. He flicked several pages and saw something else "Oh, here's the good stuff! Look at this!" he said, then cleaned his throat again. "Dear diary, today I devoured 12 human souls and 5 elven souls. It's pretty hard to get these pesky elves to sell them to me, they're way too stubborn!" he started laughing. He put the book aside and looked at Ceralder "Would you believe a DEMON wrote that?" he asked him, then said "I bet this is some kind of protective charm. It keeps our attention away, by showing stupid, unbelievable things."

He said "Hmmm... we'll have to find a way around this protection. Any ideas?" with a curious voice.

"Possibly," Ceralder said. Most of his bones were broken, and he was sitting the floor in a heap, his head upside down on top of the pile of bones.

"What do you need me to do. Make it flashy best thing we can do is die in a great flame!" He grinned. "May Xagyg be merciful. "

"Do you need a healing potion, or something like that?" he asked, seeing his shattered and utterly destroyed body. It was kinda disturbing, even if Ceralder even if he was a skeleton.

"No. Healing magic doesn't really do anything for me. I've got it." at that, Ceralder would burst into flames.

Raziel did not even flinch at the sight of Ceralder burning, though Raziel's expectations would be that Ceralder would look constipated afterwards. He wanted to laugh on that thought, but it was way too immature for an adult like him. He stared at the skeleton burning with passionate magic. Raziel then asked him "What now?" with a curious voice.

The flames, which happened to be blue, would slowly begin to heal Ceralder. "That,"

"I see." Raziel responded, he got up and picked up the book. He started scrolling through the pages, seeing all kinds of stupid entries that are not related to occultism, rituals, arcane arts and demonic practices in nearly any way. He sighed and said "I was right, this is a protective charm. We need to get it off, or we won't learn anything useful from this book. Unless we assume that our meaning of useful is how to make candy with souls." with a slightly dissapointed, if not annoyed voice.

"Here's how it's gonna go down: I'm gonna summon the Quetzal. She won't be able to fly, as the momentum and speed keeps her from flying. I'm gonna summon a smoke bomb inside of her and around us. We'll vanish and appear inside her. She has lots of natural armor about her. No worries, we won't be digested, as her stomach will be completely empty. We'll use about 90% of our magic to cast one big shield around her. When we're close, you'll use the last bit to cast one of your slow spells. If done correctly, when we crash, we'll have enough protection to survive the crash."

"I refuse to die from a free-fall. Fuck that! I always imagined my death being by a forbidden spell I can't block. Now that's a show I want to end my life on!"

Toron was in full view now. "You ready for this shit?"

"I'm ready. Are you ready?" He paused. "Let's fucking go!" He prepared his body and soul for what may be his final spell.

Xocotzi appeared and was immediately battered by the wind. The little snakes's eyes flashed red and Xocotzi started releasing smoke from its mouth

Ari turned back into human form and did the same thing, summoned a vial and released the smoke from his mouth. It was flowing away from them with the wind blasting on them, but it managed to get around both of them

When the smoke cleared, they were inside Xocotzi's belly. They could move around freely and look through her eyes at the fast approaching ground. "Here we go. Let's get these shields up."

Sandro had been inside worse before (ZING) and didn't mind much. But in the face of death, he thought about humor. "EWWWWW FUCKIN GROSS" he faked. He then cast the most powerful spell of healing he had left, and with the remainder of his strength, he cast the slow.

"Neither of us are interested in sugar, we must break the charm." he responded. He started feeling slightly frustrated with the approach of the Lich. He said "Do you know of anything that we can use to do so?" he asked him, holding the book in his hands.
