Ethan sighed. It should be pretty understandable as to why he's reluctant to summon a dangerous demon. "I'll take your word for it, draconian. Now are we just gonna run in, swords blazing until we get our body count?"Baku said:"Have a little faith Berials only attcked those who provoked him or other demons he's considered enemies. At least that's what the elders always told us as children."
@Kylesar1
"I have a way to figure it out. It should get us a healthy body count without risking injury so much."Baku said:"Yes or we could figure out which demons have the highest body counts. The more kills a demon has the more they're worth. So for now let's get in quick little Skirmishes and build up a good body count for demons. The moment we hear about any noteworthy demons we figure out where they are and try and take em out."

(Back in my day we just skipped the foreplay and went straight into the orgy...)GreenEyedStranger said:(Gore warning, avoid if squeamish)
Eventually Sepentireon returned. He had some alive still left in his stomach, and for a reason. From inside Sepentireons large tent, the sound of a spell could be heard. From inside there came a student. Then another. And another, until they all were 30, including Sepentireon and his knightesses. They instantly began setting up their tents in a large circle, and piling wood in the center of the circle they created. Once night settled in, Sepentireon lit the pile on fire. Two students brought forth a large stone tablet with a sharp wedge on one side, covered in dried blood.
Sepentireon spit out one of the survivors, a woman in drab green clothes. She cried at the sight of everything and began visibly shaking. She could not speak at the horrors before her. Sepentireons knightesses forcefully carried the woman to the tablet and laid her down. From the tent came another student, however, he was not wearing a mask.
The students on the outer side of the circle took out instruments and began playing a strange tune. The notes and single harmonies could be made out, but once they all started playing it created a nonsense song that was a pain to listen to. Almost as if on cue, the students in the center circle and the knightesses included began dancing in a mad spin and making loud vocallizations as they circled around the bonfire. Sepentireon stood above them, next to the stone altar as the student without a mask approached.
"BROTHERS! SISTERS! MY STUDENTS!"
He raised his arms high and spoke in a loud roar, sounding above the mad nonsense music
"Tonight is a special night! Not only is it the night of the Blind God Azathoth, but it is also the night of initiation for our newest member, Mah'Ael!"
The uninitiated took a bow, but looked around, uneasy of all that was taking place.
Suddenly the woman began babbling
"P-Please... No..."
Sepentireon grabbed her head with his human-like arm, forcefully raising her just above the wedge. She realized what was going to happen.
"AZATHOTH! WE PRESENT YOR SACRIFICE! MAY YOU DREAM AND HAVE MERCY ON US!!!"
He slammed her head down on the wedge, silencing her cries...
However, he aligned the smash masterfully, in such a way that her skull split perfectly in two while keeping the brain intact.
He flipped the woman on her back and carefully grabbed her brain, pulling it out with the spinal column and viscera attached. By some abomination of magic, she was kept alive, as could be seen by her rapidly beating chest.
"Ph'naflegh! Uh'gahn duh'lin!"
He put the brain to his "mouth" and took a decent sized bite out of the front. He then passed it gently down to one of his knightesses. She moved her mask up just enough to expose her scaled lips, where she took a small bite. She then passed it to the other, who continued to pass it around to each of the students. Once it reached the initiate student, there was a fist sized chunk left in the center.
"Search for eyes, my student!"
The initiate gulped and dug his hand into the slimy grey matter. After a second, he pulled out a black beady thing. It was an eye. The student gasped at the thing in his eye and nearly passed out, though one of the knightesses helped him up.
"It is done brother... You are now one of us..."
Then, the initiate joined the crazy dance that the students and teachers were in, dancing to the mad nonsense music in a hysteria of laughter and cries.
"The only word of warning is to stay away from me as I shine. It'll hinder the soul gathering. We'll need to have separate groups, one for Dark and one for Holy, so we don't mix chemicals and kill us all. No worries though, as Zelfiqar can gather souls."@Kylesar1[/URL]
Ethan laughed. "We don't have to move far. Demons are attacking the city, so we just rally up our defense. The enemies of our enemies aren't necessarily our friends, but we don't have to make friends. All we have to do it rally the defense and defend different sectors of the city......Just don't mention the whole Berial thing as people will be a lot more reluctant than I was."Baku said:"Yeah that sounds like a good idea but how do we find people who are actually willing to help us with this?"
@Kylesar1
"What are you doing here?!" Father Bishop said, still in his angel form. "Why aren't you out of the country?! The group has left for Lightbringer because they thought you were dead!"DarknessSpirit said:(Alright)
Katherine stormed into the church, she didn't know it at the time but she was more then a little pissed off. On high alert she accidentally slammed the church doors, enough to wake the whole house. She ran up the stairs and into her room and began packing up her stuff angrily.
@Anyone in the church
"Aye. I'll be back soon with more troops. Move quickly as we have little time." Ethan sheathed his sword and took off. He didn't have long until the next wave hit the city. If the defenses weren't established, the city would be overrun immediately. They're taking a big risk.Baku said:"Don't worry this whole conversation will be between the two of us. Let's get some people rounded up. Anyone who is able and willing can join. I'll be waiting at the entrance."
@Kylesar1
"You are an absolute idiot Cross." Father Bishop said bluntly. "They did not stay because they thought you two were dead, and then went for Lightbringer."Baku said:"Wait they went to get Lightbringer because they thought we were dead? I thought they're after it to kill Khan."
