Fantasy The Return of Corruption

"Of course I can. I'll help mommy as much as possible!" The child seemed determined. "What do you need help with?"
"I'm terrified. I'm just terrified. I'm afraid to even leave my room or hear something that I don't expect. I just don't want to get hurt again."

"Hey Ethan you ready to go? I wanna get a head start on restoring Sigfried." Just as Ciri finished her sentence a shadow creature of some sort appeared behind her without her noticing.

@Kylesar1

(Sorry for taking so long.)

"It's fine to be scared, Mommy. You've been through a lot, and daddy wants to protect you."
Ethan dashed forward, sword drawn with his insane speed, and cut the demon down. "What is your intent on restoring the demon sword? Something like that isn't exactly the best weapon to use against Khan."
"Your sibling told me I have to be strong or I'll kill you." she said sadly.

"You're right Ethan by this worlds standards it shouldn't be effective against demons. What if I told you the sword was made as a beacon for a demon named Berial. See my ancestors made the sword to forge a pact with Berial in case something like what's happening now ever happened. If you don't like what I'm doing you don't have to help. Just don't get in my way."

"Ryan/Ryanne? I talked to them, and they explained everything to me. I'm not the same as them. If you're fearful and afraid, it won't hurt me." The child hugged Arabelle.

@Kylesar1
"Berial?!? The hell do you aim to accomplish by summoning him that's worth the entirety of this earth?" The only thing worse than Berial would be Belial. Fucking draconians, man. "You'll have to have an enormous tribute. I'm talking at least 500 uncorrupted souls if you want Berial for any more than 5 seconds." Unless this sword somehow reduced this tribute, it'd take a lifetime to get that many kills, but there's no way Berial would mitigate the tribute entirely.

"Yeah we are a crazy bunch. But Sigfried makes it to where we can use more than uncorrupted souls. Namely we can use the souls the souls of other demons. And the more a demon kills the more souls their worth. Besides you paint Berial as if he hates everything. Last time the Draconians ever summoned him he went after demons exclusively."

Ethan sighed. "I'll take your word for it, since that last visit wasn't documented in the things I've read. I suppose it's better him than Belial. Anyways, how do you propose we gather these souls?"

Arabelle hugged the child hard. "I don't know what to do little one. I'm afraid and I don't want to leave but I'll hurt your sibling."

The child shook its disapproval after pulling away from the hug. "Ryan/Ryanne isn't here right now. You shouldn't be scared. Don't be afraid to cry or scream. Ryan/Ryanne wants your courage. I want your anguish so you can have courage."

Arabelle hugged the child as hard as she could, beginning to just let everything out and sob.

The child hugged her back. "It's ok, mommy. Everything will be ok. I will protect you, along with daddy and my siblings (Elaina)."

"Thank you little one." she told
The child with a sad smile.

"Just let it all out mommy, and things will be better in the morning." The child whispered in her ear. "It's good to be scared sometimes. It's good to be sad sometimes."

As Wade waited outside, Sepentireon slipped out through the other side of the tent... He was hungry...

Slithering and wandering around, he finally found a secluded village next to a pond. Perfect. He dove into the pond and disappeared under the surface...

Suddenly, an enormous 12 headed hydra popped out of the water, letting out a horrifying roar. People began scattering about at the noise and running to their homes. However, Sepentireons twelve heads caught them just before they could escape. Those that were caught were swallowed by the beast, only to be devoured by millions of stinging tentacles. Just as he was about to consume one person in his body, Sepentireon spit him out. He sensed knowledge in him, knowledge that could be useful... And he let him go. The rest however were useless and just bags of flesh to Sepentireon. Men, women, and children screamed as they met their painful ends.

The child smiled back. "I love you too mommy. You're not gonna get hurt anymore. We'll make sure that you finally be happy."

(When you're ready for the scene to end, have the world start to get brighter and brighter)

"When you're ready to face your fears head on, you'll have me and Ryan/Ryanne, as well as Daddy and all my aunts and uncles by your side. Remember that." The child touched her face. "You'll never be alone, mommy."

Arabelle smiled brightly and picked up the little child and held her tightly. "I love you so much." She saw the world get brighter. "No, stay with me!" she cried, holding the child closer.

(Gore warning, avoid if squeamish)

Eventually Sepentireon returned. He had some alive still left in his stomach, and for a reason. From inside Sepentireons large tent, the sound of a spell could be heard. From inside there came a student. Then another. And another, until they all were 30, including Sepentireon and his knightesses. They instantly began setting up their tents in a large circle, and piling wood in the center of the circle they created. Once night settled in, Sepentireon lit the pile on fire. Two students brought forth a large stone tablet with a sharp wedge on one side, covered in dried blood.

Sepentireon spit out one of the survivors, a woman in drab green clothes. She cried at the sight of everything and began visibly shaking. She could not speak at the horrors before her. Sepentireons knightesses forcefully carried the woman to the tablet and laid her down. From the tent came another student, however, he was not wearing a mask.

The students on the outer side of the circle took out instruments and began playing a strange tune. The notes and single harmonies could be made out, but once they all started playing it created a nonsense song that was a pain to listen to. Almost as if on cue, the students in the center circle and the knightesses included began dancing in a mad spin and making loud vocallizations as they circled around the bonfire. Sepentireon stood above them, next to the stone altar as the student without a mask approached.

"BROTHERS! SISTERS! MY STUDENTS!"

He raised his arms high and spoke in a loud roar, sounding above the mad nonsense music

"Tonight is a special night! Not only is it the night of the Blind God Azathoth, but it is also the night of initiation for our newest member, Mah'Ael!"

The uninitiated took a bow, but looked around, uneasy of all that was taking place.

Suddenly the woman began babbling

"P-Please... No..."

Sepentireon grabbed her head with his human-like arm, forcefully raising her just above the wedge. She realized what was going to happen.

"AZATHOTH! WE PRESENT YOR SACRIFICE! MAY YOU DREAM AND HAVE MERCY ON US!!!"

He slammed her head down on the wedge, silencing her cries...

However, he aligned the smash masterfully, in such a way that her skull split perfectly in two while keeping the brain intact.

He flipped the woman on her back and carefully grabbed her brain, pulling it out with the spinal column and viscera attached. By some abomination of magic, she was kept alive, as could be seen by her rapidly beating chest.

"Ph'naflegh! Uh'gahn duh'lin!"

He put the brain to his "mouth" and took a decent sized bite out of the front. He then passed it gently down to one of his knightesses. She moved her mask up just enough to expose her scaled lips, where she took a small bite. She then passed it to the other, who continued to pass it around to each of the students. Once it reached the initiate student, there was a fist sized chunk left in the center.

"Search for eyes, my student!"

The initiate gulped and dug his hand into the slimy grey matter. After a second, he pulled out a black beady thing. It was an eye. The student gasped at the thing in his eye and nearly passed out, though one of the knightesses helped him up.

"It is done brother... You are now one of us..."

Then, the initiate joined the crazy dance that the students and teachers were in, dancing to the mad nonsense music in a hysteria of laughter and cries.
