Malcolm was sobbing when a small note was coming through the crack between the for and the floor. He made sure to be silent in thy moment, holding tears back, that he knew were bound to fall any second after. This was truly painful in a way he was not used to. Genuine pain wasn't a problem, but emotional pain, that is what had left the deepest scars in Malcolm.

He quickly looked over the note, and sighed a deep sigh. More money. While he would love to just hand it over, he was close to have no more. Although he did have some from his other client in case he needed to pay cash, but that is his to chose what he used it for. But this was different. He had no choice, he had to get there. It was the only thing he was obligated to do, so if that meant taking money from another job, so be it. Everything for her.

Malcolm gathered together the necessary money, and made sure it all was there. 1.000 dollars. He checked what was left. 5. dollars. He chuckled. "Enough for a taxi home at least." He bundled the money, again after value, then settled off for room 3131.

He was nervous to say the least. His hands trembling, his palms sweating. Long story short, he was very much on edge. A possibility to end this, once and for all, after two long years with grief, he now had the chance of redeeming himself. This would have to be pure sacrifice, but it would be nothing compared to what has happened. That was like purgatory in comparison to this. Here it was somebody else making the necessary preparations, he just had to wait, he realized that now.

But he had to.

Malcolm took one last heavy breath, before placing his hand on the door and knocked three times, hoping he came in time. He still had something to come back to, after all, on earth.

Ezekiel shook his head as if he was trying to get out of a trance. "Ehm.. Ah, good. So.." Ezekiel stood up and moved over only a few inches away from entering the circle. "Right on. Pretty thing, you're a natural." Ezekiel grinned and looked back at the circle. "So I should just.. Ehh Right.. Nothing bad is going to happen."

"She is tricking you! You're a prize target! The death of an abomination is one of the greatest! Angel's and mans worst creation! The Nephilim! You're a outcast of the world Seraphim!

This huntswoman will only flay your skin! And banish me! Sha'tana's family would return.. And now they have only been preparing...! "

Ezekiel looked back to Artemis. "So... How long you've been a hunter? And what have you successfully hunted?" Ezekiel smiled. Him being a guinea pig is not really something he likes.. Not after doing it a few to many times.

Ajax put on the last of his armor and was just about to take up his scroll and leave when he heard three knocks on his door. Ajax sighed, knowing if there were two things that he was good at, they were getting his jobs done and bleeding a patron dry of all of their money. He couldn't help but feel bad for this man when he heard some light shivering and erratic breathing coming from the other side of the door. He opened the door to see Malcolm, in awful shape, he decided not to comment on it. Damn that charm, that was it, wasn't it? Focus up, you have a job to do and dues to collect.

When Ajax opened the door to Malcolm, he was wearing his full armor set, something that he almost never did unless he was going into the woods to see his witch. Ajax seemed to be wearing worn light leather armor with bits of plate mail where his armor wasn't covering. He also wore his usual rapier on a holster attached to his belt. He had two large pouches of gold in his pockets, because he didn't want to have one obvious large sack in his pocket, he would attract bandits that way.He had a crossbow, a longbow, and a normally sized bastard sword as well slung over on his back. The bastard sword was poking out awkwardly from it's vertical position because it was almost taller than him. He had the appropriate ammunition for his weapons in his backpack, and some in a holster on the opposite side of his rapier. In his backpack he had the usuals, ammunition, food, magical goodies and so forth. He also wore a small alchemist's pouch, which he used to store potions and elixirs.

Ajax opened the door fully, exposing himself, but not much else behind him. He said,
"Do you see now why the price is so steep? I could very well lost my head on this job. It's not likely because not to boast, but I'm the best there is. Now which option do you want?... Also, if you so choose, I'll let you wait in my room until I get back. I shouldn't be gone more than twenty minutes in this world." Ajax outstretched his hand, dead eyed, awaiting his payment. He also moved to the side of his doorway a bit, allowing sufficient room for Malcolm to squeeze by comfortably.

Abby tensed slightly, weighing here options for a moment. "The people here... Some of them are weirder than me, Aren't they?" She questioned, yet already knew the answer. "This isn't like my old home at all..." They might not shun me if I take my eyepatch off...

After practically being paralyzed in thought, Seven snapped back to attention to realize that she was alone and blankly staring at the lift. Well, that's awkward. You don't say? I've been trying to get your attention for the past 10-15 minutes... You okay, baby doll? Yeah, Phyra, I'm good.... Just thinking about.... well, you know.... So long as you're sure... Come on, doll, lets go burn off some steam.

Seven shook her head of thought and agreed by heading towards the stairs. After a moment of hesitation, she realized she couldn't remember her room number. Without stopping to think of Phyra's opinion she decided to wander and was completely lost in thought as she wandered aimlessly through the halls. She froze after awhile, a strange scent catching Phyra's attention and therefore hers.

What is that? It smells like chalk and ladybugs. You smell it too then? Well, not exactly the ladybug and chalk thing that I'm smelling. It's a... well, simply put, it's a trapping circle. Baby doll, we should move on, we don't know what they're trapping...

Seven nodded her agreement and went to move past... And ever so gracefully knocked into a potted plant. Swearing loudly, Seven fell to her knees and caught the plant before it could tip. It left her looking like he was hugging the plant.

Ezekiel turned around as he heard someone swear. "Eh? Did you hear that lass?" Ezekiel turned to Artemis. "Seems like you got guests." Ezekiel moved towards the door and placed his hand on the knob. "Well.. Let's not keep 'em waiting." Ezekiel turned the knob and opened the door, he looked around and looked down and saw a girl... Hugging? One of the ornamental plants. Ezekiel squats down and studies the girl. "Hello, Whose your friend?" Ezekiel tilted his head a little still studying her.

"Seraphim.. That is a vessel. There is a minor.. Hmh.. Well minor compared to me, Baal. But Unlike her, I do not share your body. I am just part of your wretched soul for now..."

"So... Huh.. Artemis is this a friend of yours?" Ezekiel stood up and extended his hand to help the girl up.

Seven stared at the man the emerged from the room and crouched to stare at her, slowly setting the plant back. Do you feel that, Phyra? Yes, doll, he isn't human. Well, obviously he isn't, did you see the blue fire he conjured earlier? He's Nephilim. And there's something majorly demonic in him. You can tell all of that by smell? No, but... Just trust me on this one, baby doll. He can be a good ally or a dangerous threat. Be careful, Seven. Right...

Seven sighed and looked at his offered hand curiously. She'd likely burn him if she touched him, but that wouldn't exactly be her fault... Well, actually, burning people wasn't exactly the nicest thing to do. So? Seven smirked and reached out, clasping his hand with her much smaller (and scalding hot) one. "I don't know who this Artemis is so I can tell you that we aren't friends. Thanks for the hand."

Malcolm paused before giving Ajax the payment. Was this really the right choice? No, it had to be, he had to find this guy, no matter the costs. He pulled out the agreed amount of cash. "I want the expensive package." He said with cold, dead eyes. He tried to make it seem like he wasn't affected by it at all, yet it was clear, this case brought up bad memories in his soul. His voice was a bit shaky, forced stiff. His palms, sweaty as a sunbather in the desert. And his shaky hands. It was all the signs of a broken man.

When Malcolm had handed over the payment, he did not go in, he just stated, that he needed a few moments alone, then left for the main entrance, in a hurry. When he had gotten outside, he fumbled for something in his pocket, a small cardboard box with a red label on it. He opened it, taking out a cigarette holding in his hands, he looked down at it, before he in one swift motion with his free hand, took out his lighter and lighted the cigarette, taking a few huffs in the process. It calmed him. He looked like a completely other man. His shaky hands, had calmed down after the rush of nicotine had filled his stressed brain. It was a good feeling, standing alone in the entrance looking out over the pool, the sun setting slightly. This scenery calmed him down. Made him forget his real problems. How he had finally stepped back, he could not understand, he would have thought he would still be stressed, but no. Surprisingly he was calm, and that was all that mattered now.

Ajax watched as Malcolm took out another wad of bills from his pocket and then took them from Malcolm's gross and sweaty hands. He waited a moment while Malcolm lit a cigarette, in case he wanted to come in. Ajax then said, "Okay, I should be back in twenty minutes. Thirty means I had a good bit of trouble, forty means that the guards finally caught me, and an hour means that I got shredded by whatever caught me. I'll get you the round trip, and remember that it'll bound you to two dimensions until you shell out for something that even I cannot supply you. Goodbye for now, make yourself scarce for a while." Ajax gave a wave, his equipment making a light clack noise as he did. Then he slammed the door in Malcolm's face. He was in the zone now, and he could almost feel the bloodlust upon him once more. He took his scroll from his large chest then closed it up, locking all three of its locks. He sat upon the bed, cross legged. Then he began to read the words from the scroll very carefully, knowing that a mispronunciation could. He said calmly, knowing almost all of the elvish text by heart, "Volo ut reverteretur in locum suum. Plus quam ego volo esse in mundo, redit..." and continued in that vain for a few minutes. When he was done, blue runes appeared on his body as he collapsed into his bed in the form of blue ash.

Ajax awoke inside of a cave. He was out of breath as usual so he breathed rapidly for a moment and then he began on his journey. He went through the forest to find his witch, fighting off a werewolf, an ogre, and even another witch. None were a problem for him except for the ogre which managed to sneak up on him and punt him about fourty feet in the direction of the quest. After a while of walking, he arrived at the witch's hut. There was a letter of foreclosure on the front of it, but he knew what that meant. He went back to town, fighting off even more beasts and then went into the prison there at night and broke out his witch. It was no easy task, and it took a decent amount of planning and sneaking as guards were changing shifts. They went back to the forest with the witch and then got all that he needed. He payed the witch the amount that she needed and walked away with still another sack of wealth in his pocket as profit. it was a good day for him. He checked the date with the witch and realized that he'd been gone for thirty minutes in the other world. He began to read his scroll and then found himself back in his room.

He rubbed his face and laid there for a moment.

Sha'tana was relieved that Malcom was so entrusting in Ajax. He must truly believe he can solve this case for him. Though Malcom's sweaty hands said otherwise, she was beginning to trust Ajax a bit more from his gesture. She still sat at the restaurant; she waved a weak goodbye as Malcom and Ajax went about their business. She drank her blood slowly while pondering about her own problems. She wasn't sure now if Ezekial received her call, but she really didn't want to see that rose again. After several minutes of thinking, she decided to ask for Ajax's help rather than waiting for Ezekial. She knocked on door number 0031. "Sir Ajax?" She was hoping she wasn't too late. If he left to the other dimension, she would have to resort to asking for Ezekial's help. He's been so busy lately... she thought to herself. Has he found himself a new love? Lucky for him... she thought bitterly.

Ezekiel blinked for a moment and looked at their hands. "Oh? Fire demon?" Ezekiel pulled her up and smirked back. His hand suddenly burst into a blue fire. "Very well, I am a Nephilim. Ezekiel Serafino one of the first born and natural user of occult magic and my own creation." Ezekiel nodded to the blue fire and let go of the girls hand. "It's occult fire, well that is what people call it. By usage of many years training with Baal whose the most neutral of the demons I've met, and my half-angelic blood.. This fire is... Hmmh.. Well to say quite effective. " Ezekiel circled the girl and asked again. "Well.. you didn't answer my question, whose your friend? Also I kinda thought so that you and Artemis haven't met." Ezekiel unbuttoned his shirt a little on the top showing some of the runes, sigils, and wards on his body. "Technically you'll need more than a hot hand to burn this. But it still is going to leave a mark." Ezekiel looked at his hand and sighed... "Anyway. Nice to meet ya' lass."

"I've been to this hotel maybe once or twice before, but only for a night," Rowan said. "And, yes, the people here are very strange, at least of the people I've seen and talked to. So you don't have to worry about being an outcast."

Seven stared as the man's hand caught fire around hers. Well, that was unexpected. The fire didn't hurt so much as tickle, and she couldn't help smirk as the man gave a long-winded explanation of who and what he was. A Nephilim? Huh. Impressive. Those runes and sigils. Damn, how long do you think it took to tattoo those on? Hmm... He's kinda hot, too. There are a lot of hot people here, baby doll. Phyra, are you serious? He's way to young for you and for f-ck's sake we share a body. Just shut up. I could actually separate from you y'know. Not the point. Seven shook her head.

"
I'm Seven Todd and I think you already guessed what I am, Angel boy. I'm Phyra! Did you say Baal? As in, thee Baal? Also, know a good place to set ourself on fire?"

Emyr was a little surprised to hear that Caspian was a merman, he sure didn't look like one. He decided that he probably grew a tail in the water or something.

"Sorry, I what I meant was what species are you, not are you a fairy. No, I don't, I grew up in the Amazon rainforest in South America, so I didn't get out much until a few years ago, sorry about that. I suppose our tribe may have come from a different world a long time ago, but now there are just a few tribes on this world."

Ezekiel chuckled, Angel boy? That was a new nickname. Ezekiel shook his head lightly. "Right-O it is technically half-angel... Boy...Eh.. You look quite younger than me... And yes.. Baal. Long-story short I helped him attain better positions and he played 'chess' With me.. Short lived agreement turned long."

Ezekiel scratched his hair and looked a bit puzzled on Seven...Or rather Phyra since she was the one that asked.. "Set yourself on fire.. Well outside... Would be the better option... You could also go to the sauna.. I mean.. That is used with warmth.. So It would hold some fire..."

He nodded. "Can't really think of any other place to.. Eh let one self go I guess? You should find and speak with Sha'tana.. She can help with that.. She is a demon shapeshifter. She could possibly help you with your troubles..."

"I wouldn't call it a trouble really... More of an inconviena- Phyra, be quiet. This is my body." Seven sighed, and removed her shades to rub the bridge of her nose, irked by the indents left on her skin. She looked up at Ezekiel and pursed her lips. "And technically, I don't care if your half or whole, there's angel blood in you. And I'm older than I look, though I suppose you could say the same thing. You don't seem to be the age you look. Also, why do we smell a trapping circle?"

"Ay.. I am quite old.. Although I stopped counting once I reached my first millennium. Anyway." Ezekiel took a step back and nodded to Artemis's room. "I'm teaching her the occult art of wards and runes. That may be why you can eh smell the trapping circle.. Although it was more of a test to see if she could make one.. And then try it out on me." Ezekiel looked back towards Seven and nodded. "Not that you should worry about that. I mean it's not because you were sent here to assassinate someone."

If Seven had been drinking water, she would've spit it out. Millennium?! Whaddya know, he is my age! Shut up, will you? No promises, darling. Besides, respect your elders. I'll do what I want.

"
Not that you should worry about that. I mean it's not because you were sent here to assassinate someone." Seven knit her brows together. What was the supposed to mean?

"Aww, you're busy then? Too bad. I was going to say you should join us, Flamey. Oh my Hell, Phyra! Shut up! Ugh!" Seven groaned in misery. "Sorry, Angel Boy, Phyra's a bit raunchy and flirtatious. I should go before she says anything else completely stupid."

Ezekiel chuckled again. "Flamey? Sheesh.. Put out the embers." He looked into Artemis's room. "Yeah. I am busy teaching Artemis. But hey. If you need me, my room number is # 0048 Although I am quite busy all the time. Heh." Ezekiel made a small bow. "Don't be sorry lass, I'm used to much worse. Still have fun around here, this hotel is... Rarely dull." Ezekiel smiled and continued speaking. "Although I would try and find time to... Study you two a little more. Quite interesting you two are." Ezekiel's smile had turned into a grin.

"#0048? We're #0666, so if you need us swing on by!" Phyra chirped. Seven sighed, and pinched the bridge of her nose. She glanced up as Ezekiel bowed slightly, her brows rising in confusion. What the...? Aww, you're blushing. No, I'm not, shut up....Used to much worse? Impressive. Seven raised a brow as Ezekiel continued to speak.

"Although I would try and find time to... Study you two a little more. Quite interesting you two are." Okay, NOW you're blushing. N-no I'm not. Honey, you totally are, ha! Look, I can't blame you. Some man just said he'd like to find time to study you. And then gave you that grin. Nice catch. Phyra! I swear, if you do not shut up soon, I will banish you from this body and find a new demon to vessel. Ouch. Low blow.

"I-I... I'll be going then," Seven stated quickly, replacing her shades as if that'd hide her burning cheeks. "Unless this Arty chick needs practice trapping other species? N-no, we'll be going."

Abby sighed in relief and carefully took her eyepatch off. "Woah... Bright lights." She blinked a few times and rubbed her brown eye, trying to adjust to the light difference. The first time in maybe a year she took her eyepatch off... She really hoped that wouldn't have any repercussions. She smiled at Rowan. "Thanks for the flower and the help... I should really be getting to my room now, though."

Caspian's anxious look went to bored. As expected... he let out a sigh. He can't help me... as he watched Emyr's mouth move as he spoke, a question popped in Caspian's head. "Can you breathe underwater?" Then he thought for a moment before Emyr could answer, "Do you have any special powers?" To be fair Caspian decided to answer for himself, "I don't have any cool powers like some people in this hotel..." He thought of Sha'tana and how spears struck out of her wrists. It was creepy... Caspian thought jealously. "I believe being a merman is more of a curse. Yeah, sure, I can breathe underwater and transition into a half-fish body when in contact with water... but all the mysteries of my kind is killing me."

Ajax got out of his bed, sore and tired. He opened the door to his room and then began to walk out, looking around for Malcolm with his goods in his pocket. Then he saw Sha'tana as he opened the door. He heard a single knock on his door and her hand was still in an upright position as if she was still in the process of knocking. He opened the door wide and then began to make himself known.

He appeared battered beyond belief. His leather armor was cut up and dented, the metal parts of his armor were in tact except for what looked like a large bite taken out of his shoulder plate, but his equipment other than that was in terrific shape. Ajax himself had some splattered blood on his face, most of which was his own. His face was a bit bruised as well. He took his bastard sword, crossbow, quiver, and bow off and then one by one threw them on his nearby bed. He turned around and then said, slicking his hair back to look somewhat presentable,
"So uhh... Howdy. As you can probably make out, I've been pretty busy lately with work. I'm in ill shape and I'd prefer to get this job done before I go to my bed and rest, I'm already ten minutes late or so. Do you know where Malcolm would be right now?" He rested his hand naturally on the hilt of his rapier

Sha'tana's jaw dropped, "I have terrible timing." She said disappointedly. "I-I just thought..." she sighed and gave up, "Nevermind. I believe Mr. McGreggor's room is 0006." She turned around and began to walk towards Ezekial's room. She saw Seven saying her goodbyes to Ezekial. This might be her chance to ask him for help. "Hi, I never got a chance to say..." she slightly bowed toward Seven, "Welcome to my hotel!" Sha'tana wasn't in the most cheery of moods, but her duty always comes first. She looked past Seven towards Ezekial, "May I have a word with you, Mr. Serafino?"
