Fantasy The Random Hotel

He looked at her and smiled softly. "I shall take Bourbon and coke please~" he says as he leans back. He then turns his attentino back to Sha'tana. "Well you have some authority, don't ya?" he smirks as he looks her over

Sha'tana gave Ryu a soft laugh, "Well, I do own the hotel." She looked at Ryu strangely, "Are you from the country side?" Sha'tana recalled an old guest of hers. He was from the southern portion of the United States, and he had the strongest accent she has ever heard; he'd always ask for Bourbon mix with something. Strange, Ryu doesn't have an accent.

He smiles and shrugs. "Yeah, I'm from Louisiana~" he says with a heavy Southern accent, that he purposely added mind you. "I know I don't sound like it, but that's my home. South Louisiana~" he chuckles as he looks at her. "What about you?" he asked her gently. "Where are you from?"

Sha'tana choked. This went in the wrong direction fast... she panicked. "Hell," she finally said as a joke. Most people would think demons were from hell anyway, but a human would think she's joking even if she said Shelbanaza. 78 came back with their drinks then she stood patiently awaiting their orders. "The usual," Sha'tana said. She usually eats raw meat with nothing else. She's sure it would be a strange sight for Ryu, "Actually, add rice and beans to it." Perhaps, adding sides would made it look more humanly.

Ryu took his drink and nodded, seemingly unfazed by Sha'tana's answer. "Ill take chicken alfredo please. And do add a little spice to it" he smiles as he chuckles. "I like my food to be a little...fiery" he says as a flame wisp around his head.

Casey and Artemis left the card room. Casey was grumping about a combo that Artemis had pulled off in the last game, and Artemis was laughing at Casey's reaction. They were getting along famously.

Casey proposed: "Something at the restaurant?" Artemis quickly agreed, and the pair walked to the restaurant.

Sha'tana' eyes widened, "You're not human?" She slapped her head and sighed in relief. "Sorry, I'm not from hell," she let out a laugh, "I'm from Shelbanaza. An other planet." She kept laughing at herself. "Well, I guess I ordered regular human food on the side for no reason." She ran her fingers through her hair.

Sky was on her way back to the hotel after another hunt. She had double checked that she was completely clean, unlike last time, and finally was satisfied. Getting full like that felt very rejuvenating to her, so she ran quickly and quietly back to the hotel, feeling much better. Not many people were around, but she did notice Casey and the hunter girl walking out of the game room. In the dining area, there were several people sitting down for lunch.

Sky went to the bar to get a drink. "I guess I'll have a whiskey today, Algor." The bartender smiled and gave her the requested drink. "Thanks," she said. She took one huge gulp and then continued sipping it while staring outside.

Artemis noticed that it was about time for her noon training. She excused herself, and went up to her room. Once there, she grabbed her favorite sword and practiced different fighting techniques with it.

Caspian found himself sleeping in a hammock. He fluttered his eyes open as he heard the sea splash against the sand. He breathed in the fresh sea breeze blowing against his face. "Wow, great hotel," he said to himself. He sat up from the hammock and placed his feet in the sand. He playfully dug his feet into the sand and wiggled his toes until the sand came off. He looking at the rising sun and smiled, "An other day. An other adventure." Caspian was beginning to worry that he would never be able to see this Sea Nymph again; she seemed, so far, to be his only chance to know where mermaids & mermen live.

Sha'tana woke up in her bed, again, she finds Hex non-existent. First he kisses me. Tells me he loves me, now... she stopped the midst of her thoughts. Was that a floating rose at the end of her bed? It was. Sha'tana smiled. That cheesy bastard... she thought. She got up and washed her teeth, changed her clothes and skin color. She went looking around for Hex. Surprisingly, he wasn't in the lobby again. She looked on the roof, kitchen, game room, shop, and gave up. She walked to the reception looking at Gu worriedly. The pores of her human skin began to let out sweat, "Where's Hex?" Gu pointed out to the door of her hotel. "He left? How long ago?" Gu looked at her then at his shadow and back at her, "Midnight." Sha'tana was not too happy with this news. "He's never left the hotel before..." she mumbled under her breath. Now she thought... What did the rose mean? She leaned against the counter of the reception, looking almost lost.

Throughout the hotel a cackling laughter was heard. The earth shook and vibrated, the sea convulsed and jerked.

Suddenly. A thunderstroke, the skies rolled over and darkened out the sun. The laughter continued, another thunderstroke but this time it's roar shook the very foundation of the hotel. A giant fiery portal ripped the very fabric of space itself. Those that looked through the portal, saw only hell awaiting. As fast as the portal had opened, as fast as hundred of demons raced through it. The creatures were of many shapes and horrors. Some bigger than humans other smaller,

although hard to count there were proximately one hundred and ten of these demons.

The laughter abruptly stopped, a cold shiver went down the spines of those that saw it step through the portal.

"I am Asmoday, apocalypse have come. I command thee surrender for the fallen prince, hear ye' who defies the father of lies, Angel of the bottomless pit, Ruler of darkness. Your execution will be immediate. ALL hail Lucifer, ruler of demons, ruler of this world.

Judgment day has come.

You're all going to hell."

The demon bellowed and the horde of lesser evil stormed. Was it truly judgment day at hand?

The sky turned red by the burning gateway, those with a keen eye could easily see. More demons were coming. And they were bloodthirsty.

From her room, Artemis heard it. She sighed. "Yup, I was right. Ezekiel really shouldn't have done it."

Artemis took out a pearl necklace she had. She said: "One righteous needs your grace", and the necklace grew into the demonslaying Geas-blade, Forgiveness. She took it and her usual sword to the roof.

The sand that which Caspian stood on began to shake. "Wha-what's going on?!" The waves of the ocean suddenly became violent and dark. The sun's rising was abruptly blocked by clouds. Caspian mood quickly went from great to not-so-great. He heard a loud noise that cracked in the sky like lightening. A portal from an other dimension appeared some distance from him. His mouth was agape. What was that? He didn't know which direction to run, but it was a little to late for him to decide. A horde of demons spotted him, and he had to defend himself. He was stronger in the water. Can demons breath in water? Caspian was about to find out.

Sha'tana snapped out of her daze, "Alert the robots! Alert our guest!" Gu stood frozen while his shadow did all the calling and reporting. Sha'tana's skin melted into her natural red. No time to think about Hex... she ran outside to find a very large demon, among many lessers, stepping out of a portal. "Mr. Serafino!!" Sha'tana exclaimed. She angered her body to the point that she was in her enraged form. She roared as her wings sprouted from her back and her spears peeked out of her wrists. "Let's do this," She flew, commencing in combat with a few winged demons.

Artemis with Forgiveness was a one-girl squadron. She cut through demons quickly, the holy aura of her geas-blade protecting her and making the demons crumble to dust as she killed them.

Casey Jones heard the commotion, and whirlwinded herself up to the roof. She grew pale, for all of a few seconds. Then, she snuck to Artemis's room, grabbed a sword (Casey was not very good with a sword, but she figured that it was better than her bare hands), and joined in the fray, hurling fireballs and frying and slicing to pieces the demons that came her way.

A small spot in the sky cleared up, shining bright blue light from it. A man flew out of it, and those close enough could easily hear the grumpy Ezekiel yelling. "I won fair and square! The warden and his boys are not coming and you-" Ezekiel stopped mid-air looking down at the demon horde and the gateway to hell. "THAT IS CHEATING! I won the bet! You can't just send a horde of demons at the hotel!" The opening in the sky closed again. "Mr. Serafino!!" Ezekiel turned as he heard Sha'tana yelling his name.. "She is going to be mad... Oh... This isn't very good.." Ezekiel flew down to the roof. "This.. Is not my fault! Baal is a sour loser and a big cheater in games!"

Asmoday turned and saw the male figure in the water and laughed, he shortly turned to the hotel. The fallen seraphim had apparently returned. Asmoday watched as a girl slew demons and laughed before his bellowing voice rang. "Kill as many as you want, your blade dulls for each demon, your shield cracks for every soul shattered and your hope will falter. Our name is legion, for we are many"

More demons rushed through the portal, their numbers seemingly endless.

Artemis decided that the big demon didn't know Forgiveness very well. As a demonslayer Geas-blade, Forgiveness never dulled against its chosen foe. In fact, the more demons it killed, the more powerful it became. She saw Ezekiel fall from the sky, and fought her way over to him. Over the din of battle, she yelled at him: "You dunce! Why didn't you wait for me to explain my gift?"

Ezekiel stared dimwitted on Artemis. "I..Umh....Ehhh..." He blinked a few times before speaking again. "Well... I." Ezekiel scratched his hair.

"I'm sorry... I should have waited, but demons don't wait. Everything is two-way. I have contacts in hell which creates sigils for me to travel to a certain place, I could make a portal with ease, but that just brings me to a random place in there." Ezekiel took the necklace up from his pocket. "I'm sorry really... This still isn't my fault. Baal is a very bad loser, and a crybaby to momma lucifer.." Ezekiel chuckled. "So.. Legion of demons? Asmoday? Like christmas morning."

Asmoday continued his pace towards the hotel, as he stood in front of it he struck with his trident through the building. Ezekiel looked down and waved on Asmoday, "He is a nice demon really. Likes teddybears on earth.. Although I think he got the wrong leg out of hell today..."

Asmoday withdrawed his trident and climbed upwards, towards the roof. "SERAPHIM, hell demands your return. The demons will not stop till you are dead, I will not be stopped either."

Ezekiel looked back at Artemis. "So... How was your day?"

Artemis looked at the portal. "We need to close it. The necklace can help you. Hold it and say: "One righteous needs your skills."

Ezekiel gaze shifted from Artemis to the necklace then back at her. "One righteous.. Wait what? Needs your skills? Lass, I'm damned. If I use any sort of holy weapons.. I'll be hurting myself. That's why you don't see me use pistols or swords.. Someone is going to bless them." He looked at the necklace. "Mighty kind of you to give me a sword hidden as a necklace.. Why were you carrying that anyway?" Ezekiel put the necklace back in his pocket. "Actually don't answer that. I agree the portal must be closed.. I can do that.. Yeah.. Sha'tana is going to eat me alive.. But yeah.." Ezekiel nodded. He turned around and drew with blue flames a cirle in front of them and opened another blue portal. "Ladies first, we don't want to chat with Asmoday. He is probably going for me anyway so being by the giant red portal is probably much safer for the hotel.."

Asmoday's hand took hold on a empty space on the rooftop. His head finally appearing. Staring menacingly at Ezekiel, before turning to stare on Artemis. "Like a succubus, your friend are, Seraphim. You can take her with you to hell. The Deceiver will easily make her a daughter of Lilith" Asmoday held his trident readying it to strike, Sha'tana's robots made quick work on some of the demons, thankfully to their badass martial arts.

Ajax returned to his hotel bed with an audible poof and looking somewhat different than when he left. He was wearing a long sleeved red button down with black pants spotted with thick leather. On top of the shirt he wore a pristine looking leather vest. He also had facial hair for the first time in a while, it was long and beginning to curl. He looked down at his rapier and realized he must have looked like a mini musketeer. He laid down to rest for a moment before he heard the bewildered cries of some foul creatures, the yells of some familiar voices, and a loud wooshing sound that he couldn't quite identify. He dropped his somewhat swelled backpack and his now large pouch of coins. Ajax ran out the door as fast as his Halfling legs could carry him, which was fairly fast. Please don't be angels, those guys really don't like me.

Ajax ran to the source of all of the ruckus and saw all of the despair and demons running about attacking some robots and some of those who lived in the hotel. Ajax was barely visually phased, these guys can't be much tougher than frost giants. He took out his rapier and flexed his muscles a bit, to show that he meant business. A demon leapt right at him, but Ajax quickly responded with slamming the hilt of his sword into its face. Seeing the creature was stunned, Ajax silently and quickly put a series of deep marks into the creatures already misshapen thorax. The marks resembled the front of a Rubik's Cube. The creature fell to its knees with a mighty scream of agony which hurt Ajax's ears slightly. Ajax deadpanned, "That's enough out of you." Then ripped out the middle peg of his pattern with much force and pierced the open area with his rapier. The creature whimpered, obviously regretting its decision to attack the smallest creature she could find, then breathed it's last breath. Ajax planteed his foot on the chest of the creature and ripped out his rapier, knocking the creature over in the process. That one was actually kind of cute, she has a very nice nose. He walked toward his allies who were much closer to the portal than he was very slowly.

Ajax, somewhat proud of his first demon kill yelled, "What the f*ck! I leave for a few days and you all decide to open up a gate to hell without me!" He licked his lips, there was a mighty bloodlust upon him.

"It's not holy. Righteousness is just its Geas. I always carry it in case someone around me needs it. Its name is Vigilant. Now use the sword, you idiot!"

"Succubus?!?!?"

Yeah... Asmoday probably shouldn't have said that. Artemis, who was a virgin, by the way, absolutely hated being compared to demons, especially ones to whom she had no relation. She was not happy.
Casey managed to fight her way to the portal itself, and covered it with a wall of fire, temporarily incinerating the demons who attempted to come through it.

Luna runs over seeing the demon attack. she picks up a random object and runs at them swinging the thing at the demons with all her strength hoping to get a good hit.

Ezekiel shook his head. "It's mighty nice of ya lass, I don't swing with swords."

He tore of his coat and threw it to the side. "Puzuphph, Yfoi, Koikei! Deika Gero Dokyl GEIC!" Ezekiel's arms turned bright blue in flames.

Soon.. "You know.. The first of the nephilim.. Were not born... Half blooded. We were Seraphims... Angels with six wings..." The flames appeared on his back mimicking four wings below his own. The first of the nephilim.. Once giants among men... Asmoday... He was.. A nephilim.. Corrupted by the powers of the prince of lies.." Ezekiel stood by the blue portal. "Go now lass. We shouldn't fight him while he takes powers from that gateway. I will close it.. You need to protect the others!" Ezekiel sprinted towards Asmoday, "Protect the OTHERS... I've lived far longer than I should.. But I do not intend to die now." Just as Asmoday slammed his trident down towards Ezekiel. Ezekiel dodged and flew past him. Blue flames from his back and blue fireballs hitting demons on the ground as he came closer to the portal..

Asmoday turned and saw Ezekiel fly away, he ripped his trident from the building and turned to Artemis. "Surrender. The ruler of hell will accept your surrender... He will bestow powers beyond your imagination.. Seraphim is a liar.. A fool and a kinslayer.. We are only here to bring justice.. Is this not what you do? bring justice Artemis Fengari. Hunter of the underworldish creatures? What justice you could do with power from the Lord of demons himself. Give up your weapon.. The legion needs a perfect leader... You would be the perfect leader... Lead hell, bring justice to those that have corrupted the world.."

Horse cries where heard as thirty taller than human looking warriors in infernal armor stepped through the portal. Their demonic weapons bathed in blood and fire. "Ahh.. The knights have arrived... Join us Artemis! And these fearless men of power will be yours to command! Lead them to justice! lead them to a better world!"

Ajax, seriously confused with the whole situation, sees a Knight of Hell about to swing at the back of Luna. Ajax sees the relatively defenseless werewolf and makes a mad dash towards the creature away from the lesser demons that were already preoccupying him((#Halfling Hustle)). One of them grazed Ajax's boot but that didn't stop him. Ajax takes his rapier and uses it as a climbing tool to get to the top of the ten foot tall Knight. Ajax then commences to make long, deep jabs into the Demon's skull whilst humming Pachelbel's Canon, just having an absolute ball. The knight stopped dead in his tracks after a few jabs to the head, drops its weapon and falls to its knees yelling. Ajax very nearly fell off after the abrupt stop. The knight paws at Ajax, attempting to rip the Halfling off, but merely grazes his boots as Ajax continues to absolutely lay into the Knight. He screamed in a mighty voice, "Mate, I've killed giants who take shits bigger than you! I've strangled a guard to death with his own hair! I am Ajax, the destroyer of worlds! BWAHAHA!" In the middle of Ajax's cackling he felt his entire leg in the hand of the knight and was flung off with force into a nearby wall. He grunted loudly as he felt the stone crack slightly from the impact. You got a little cocky there, didn't you? Most of that was true, but destroyer of worlds? That was a bit of an exaggeration. Ajax spat some blood, stood up, then twirled his sword at the Knight who was at that time about forty feet away. The Knight picked up his weapon, absolutely livid because of the two dozen or so holes that were now in his head.

Ajax grinned, his teeth tinted a bit red from his own blood, then yelled across the room, "Oh, a challenge! You sure are a tough little lap dog of the man downstairs! You shouldn't trifle with little girls like you were about to do! That would be bad!" He wagged his finger back and forth slowly as if to say, "Bad Doggy". The knight was just out of his head, he charged at Ajax, away from majority of his allies. Ajax prepped for a deft dodge and stood in place, trying to figure out the oncoming attack. Likely a vertical swipe, somewhere from zero to thirty degrees from the origin, most likely, it will come down on my left side, he looks like a righty.

"Vigilant will grant you skill."

Artemis couldn't believe the demon had said that. Audacious. She called out to him: "How do you know that I am a leader? You've only seen me for a few minutes!"
