Fantasy The Packs

Fang

He looked up when the howl reached him, he scooped up Kyle in his jaws before quickly trotting back to camp. He sets Kyle down as he hears the arguing.

"Comet." He barks a warning, baring his massive fangs. He looks toward Nasreen and Naomi. He allowed Comet to exit camp, slowly approaching the two she-wolves. "What happened?" He growled, rather loudly, the sound laced with venom. he had left for a few moments and the pack became disorderly.

Naomi growled. Lazy? I could do more with a flick of my paw than he can with those wings of his, She thought as she gathered herself. Discord! She could sense it around her. Comet going of on his own to hunt. No one working in a set pattern or schedule. This was going to eat at her. As long as it all gets done, She could hear the others tell her, but they just didn't know what this did to her.

Fang approached and she soon returned to her upright position as her dearest Alpha appeared. "Comet was bad mouthing you. I was just attempting to put him in his place!" She growled slightly, but tried to keep her cool in front of Fang. "He seems to think he is the only hunter and his boastfulness is causing discord, but I am sure Nasreen would know more about that matter," She looked over at the black she-wolf. She respected the skilled hunter whom was worthy of respect.

@Cyber Wolf @xx0mittens0xx

Nasreen watches as Kabr leaves, appreciating his quick response to her request. She watches as Comet take off and lets out a huff of good riddance, for being one of the oldest he acted like an overgrown pup sometimes. He was useful but would be even more so if he learned a bit of modesty and was willing to work as a team rather than on his own. Feeding the pack was not a competition it was a necessity. She looks at Fang as he approaches listening to Naomi's explanation of what had happened. "Basically it was Comet being Comet. Comparing his wings to your horns when there is obviously no comparison" She states, it was simply a ridiculous outburst and she had no intention of making a big deal out of it. Comet went on his way and the situation diffused before it escalated to anything large.

Fang

The alpha chuckles slightly, "did anyone happen to mention that his wings are his only ability?" He shakes his head, "I appreciate you two being loyal and defending me." He says gently.

He looks toward Kyle, "you may go and play." He says gently, before stepping into his den.

Venom

The black she-wolf had watched the quarrel silently. Once Comet leaves, she extends her massive black wings, and shoots into the air after him. She flies quite a distance behind him silently, not wanting him to notice her just yet.

Naomi

Naomi, extremely pleased, attempted to save face following Fang. "Of course we would defend you. It has always been my purpose to protect you," she responded with a calm tone, not knowing how embarrassed any normal wolf would be if they were to say those same words to someone they adored. Luckily, Naomi was pretty blind to her own heart and only saw it as her duty as the deputy and loyal packmate of Fang.

She sighed. "But now I have gone and caused the one thing I despise just a little less than those that insult you," she growled as she thought of the unordly hunting details. She had made both her and Nasreen's jobs harder. She would fix it though. After all, she was deputy. "I guess I shall wait and go fix the problem," she sighed

Yikuru and Kale

"Yes, Ender," Willow and Swat said in unison, and as the older wolf turned away, the pups scurried away, giggling mischievously. Willow slipped between Kale's legs and stumbled, before lading on her rump. The pup shook herself a little, before smiling up at her mentor. "Good morning!" she called, and Kale smirked at her. "Morning," he replied, turning to face her and resting back on his haunches. "Getting into trouble already? This early?" He raised his eyebrow, giving her a playful smirk.

"Well, good morning, Yikuru," Cresent smiled as the pup padded up to her, sitting up slowly. "Morning!" he replied, grinning back and unknowingly mimicking his older brother. Before the small to-be could continue, Ender suddenly appeared, hailing the guard. "How is the day, Cresent?" he asked, giving Yikuru a small nod before sitting down beside them.

"Good morning, Ender," Cresent replied, and Yikuru giggled as he felt his mentor's tail brushing against his fur. "My day is pleasant so far," the female continued, "How about you?" The two older people kept talking, but Yikuru had stopped listening. He didn't really understand much of the conversation, so he looked around for something else to occupy himself with.

((Sorry for the absence! I should be here all day tomorrow though, so no worries!))

Vlair~

Vlair growled at the first scent of wolf but recognized it immediately, She stood up as Kabar entered the clearing she was in and nudged him softly "i need a bit of help...Hes too heavy" She said and sighed, thinking she'd be able to do this on her own. She quickly grabbed a side of the elk and began to drag it some more, they werent too far from the dens but she was nearly drained. Her paws were wet with mud and blood, new scratches and bruises were beginning to show, for she faced down a few unsavory characters in the wild. She was the oldest of the tribe and felt she could soon be of less and less use, this troubled her deeply

The grey wolf swiftly moved to the other side and grabbed the Elk and began to assist in dragging the beast. He glanced over the she-wolf he could see that she had a great struggle for this. He let go of the Elk and said.

"Even if Naraseen thinks what you did foolish, I'd like to say for the record I'm pretty impressed not many could they have even got this far." After he finished the statement he went back to assisting in dragging, it was rare for him to say a compliment, never being what they'd call a great conversationalist.

Vlair~

Her ears perked up at his compliment and continued to drag it into their packs den area, she sighed relived that he was there to help but it was also a sigh of sadness she wanted to bring it here and be showered with admiration though glad that Kabar had joined her bring home a feast. She set it down and shook out her fur, dirt and mud flew off from her and she started licking her paws and ankles. She tilted her head up at him and said "Thank you, Kabar i probably couldn't have done this without you" She wagged her tail and began licking the elk trying to remove its fur so everyone could eat.

With a nod Kabr left Vlair to finish up with the Elk. He didn't want to stay around other pack members would start coming near and he'd rather eat after everyone else had finished, especially now when he had left tensions seemed high between the pack.

Syris saw the pack members discussing things between them selves and went over to them. Stopping at a distance between Ender and yikuru out of sight but within hear range. Syris heard Crescent say that Nightpack could never overpower Sunpack. Syris shook his massive head i n agreement. "There muzzles would find dirt before they found Sunpack pelt. Hahaha!" Syris stated loudly with enthusiasm. "Now has anyone seen swat I can't seem to find him." Syris questioned in a more formal tone.

Osiris

The healer as he returned from completing the tasks that he had assigned himself to complete, he caught only part of the conversation and be hurried toward Syris. When he got near he halted and asked sounding very worried "A fight with night pack! When did this happen and is anyone injured?"

"There wasn't a fight Osiris do not worry. Ender and the rest where just conversing about the potential for such an attack. I have only stated that I will guard the pack with my life as always." Syris said in a formal tone as he calmed his pack mate.

Ender

Ender looked towards Osiris. "All is alright, Osiris. Syris is right. With the packmates we have, there is no way Nightpack could stand a chance against us," Ender than began to recall this morning with Swat and willow. "I recall that swat was with willow having another spat," Ender finally started to relax and settle down. He needs to head his own words and remember that Sunpack could stand their own against Nightpack.

@Ethora

With a sigh a relief, he looked around at his pack mates not because he didn't believe, but to calm himself.

"That's a relief, as much as I do not care for conversations about the ongoing struggle between packs, it's good to know we're at least confident." He replied before strong down and flicking his tail for a bit.

Haven

Haven listened to Tamashi carefully.

Her first mate was killed in the war against sunpack shortly after she birthed Daisy. She wasn't one to let this haunt her, he was a good member, a loyal one too, but she had pups to take care of and a job to do. She wouldn't let the sorrow get to her. "I'm sure there must be someone similar to what you are searching for within nightpack." Haven thought for a moment, "I'm sure you will bear very successful pups.".

Daisy

Daisy smiled up at Nasreen. She was glad to hear

that her mentor was not selfish. "Oh alright." she said as she continued eating. She took a final bite before declaring herself full, and licked the blood off her muzzle. "I believe I am finished now." she said attempting to push the lamb back to Nasreen.

Kyle

Kyle yelped with surprise as he was pushed

into the puddle, after the realization set in, Kyle began to splash around in the puddle, every now and then making sure to shake some mud onto Fang.

Syris walked away to where Swat and Willow where. Syris liked to whstch them fight to make sure his apprentice would do well as a guard. He had high hopes for the to-be. Syris snuck quietly near the pups and stood over them with his tense guard stance. *hehe what fun to startle pups.*

Willow & Swat

Swat tackled his slightly smaller sibling, who growled in irritation. The two quarrel slightly, kicking up a dusty cloud, as it cleared, Swat had willow pinned, pulling one of her ears, growling. Willow had her claws dug into his flank, biting onto his shoulder. Her eyes met Syris's and she released Swat, afraid to be warned for the second time today for her and her brother fighting.

Swat chuckled, sitting on his sibling, releasing her ear, "give up?" He taunts, his sister stares at Syris. Swat flattens his ears and looks up at Syris, nervously. "Good monring, sir." He said softly, getting off his sibling.

@Ethora

Cresent

The she-wolf nods, "indeed, SunPack could easily overthrow NightPack." She uses her tail to gently push at Yikuru to test his reflexes. She watches Swat and willow stop fighting as they notice Syris is watches.

Yikuru and Kale

Yikuru was sitting beside his mentor, only half listening to her conversation with the other, older wolves. He glanced around quietly, trying to find something interesting to occupy himself with, before feeling something big and furry pushing at him. The pup jumped a little and turned to face the beast... only to find it was Cresent's tail. He gave her a confused look and tilted his head a little. "What w's that for?" he asked.

(( @Cyber Wolf I thought Willow was with Kale? Idk sorry ))

(She was, yet we can just say that Swat came over and started to pest her, making them start fighting.

Cresent

She twitched her ears gently, "I have no idea what your talking about." Just as she said thay, she used her tail and flicked is ears slightly. She giggles slightly, "just testing how much better your reflexes become, compared to when you first became my apprentice." She tilts her head, smirking slightly at the slightly puzzled to-be.

Yikuru and Kale

"I have no idea what you're talking about," Cresent replied, feigning innocence, and Yikuru looked unimpressed. "You bumped me...!" he protested, and Cresent giggled in response. "Just testing how much better your reflexes have become, compared to when you first became my apprentice," she admitted, tilting her head with a smirk. "Oh," Yikuru smiled, tiny tail wagging. "How'd I do?" he asked, eager to impress the older wolf and make her proud, not to mention Kale. "Were they good? Huh?"

(( @Cyber Wolf Ohh ok sorry I was just wondering cause she didn't respond =P ))

Vlair~

Vlair sighed and continued to clean the elk up a bit, Taking pride in her work she howled again this time softer trying to get the attention of the pack because it was time to eat. Her legs felt weak so she laid down next to the elk, Thankfully Kabar had helped her. She was exited to hear more about the war with the other packs but also saddened, the loss this pack had suffered throughout the war made her upset though she was quite happy.

Cresent

She smiles, "Indeed, much better than when you were a skittish pup." She teases slightly.

Fang

The muscular alpha stepped out of his den, abd looked to Vlair. She had brought down a rather large elk, and the prey pile was become plentiful. "Nice job." Fang praises softly, before sinking his fang's into it's belly, opening a large wound for the others to eat from. He begins to eat, pulling skin off the neck and chest as he always did.

Yikuru and Kale

"Indeed," Cresent smiled, "Much better than when you were a skittish pup." Yikuru grinned. "Really?" he yipped, bouncing slightly in excitement. "Hooray!" He twirled around in a circle, half chasing his tail. "Thank you, Cresent!" he said finally, once he stopped spinning. He looked up at her, eyes dizzy and a bit unfocused, and body swaying back and forth as he tried to regain his balance.

Nasreen looks over at Vlair as she returns with the elk. "Glad you made it back safely...." She looks at the elk for a moment before back at Vlair momentarily. "Nice job" She simply says, not agreeing with the way the elk was captured because Vlair was a skilled hunter it would've been disappointing to lose her to an angry elk. She looks back at Daisy seeing she was finished, Nasreen would eat after her lesson with Daisy. She rather eat on her own without the others crowding her. "Good, let's go" She motions with her head for Daisy to follow as she makes her way away from the den and into the forest. "To catch a bird you have to think like a bird. You need to know where they like to hide and you have to be quick and agile... birds are tricky and you'll rarely be successful but in winter when times are tough sometimes they are the only food available."
