Fantasy The Packs

Kyle

Kyle looked down in disappointment "Adults

NEVER like to play." he said with a sigh as he laid down. He sat silently watching over the pack.

Haven

Haven lifted herself from the rock, stretching.

She wandered aimlessly around the village until she saw Kyle and Fang conversing on top of the rock. She wondered curiously what Kyle would be learning today. She laid down, watching them curiously.

Fang

The Alpha looks down toward Kyle, "since SunPack declared war on our pack, not many of the adults want to play, they think they need go train, encase SunPack decides to attack us." Fang glances around quickly, before getting his muzzle next to Kyle's ear. "We can go out like we are planning to hunt, and I'll play a game with you." He whispers, he smirks, before sitting up straight, looking muscular and devilish as he normally did, yet he was not as devilish as some though.

Kyle

The young pup listened closely to his mentor.

The fur on his back rose from excitement when Fang mentioned playing. He perked up his ears and whispered back "Yeah sure! I'm good at pretending!". He stood and jumped down the boulder, almost tripping from the excitement, and waited for Fang.

Fang

Fang leaps down, landing beside Kyle. "Now kyle, I'm going to teach you a few important skills for hunting today." He says, as they walk past Haven, heading for the forest.

Kyle

Kyle followed fang to the forest,

"Yes sir. Eager to learn sir," he responded sternly as they passed his mother. When they got into the shelter of the forest. Kyle jumped with joy. "So what game??"

Fang

Once they enterinto the forest, Fang leads the young pup to a clearing not far from camp. He smirks, "what game do you want to play?" He asks, looking down at Kyle.

Nasreen had seen Daisy run off to go play with Sabre and instead of immediately calling her back for her lesson, she had very uncommonly let her play. She had figured it'd be good for Daisy to get some energy out so she'd be more willing to focus on her lesson and with spring in full blow she knew lamb was now on the menu in the human territory. Daisy was still much too young and it was too dangerous yet to teach Daisy hunting in the human territory let alone any territory other than their own at the moment.

She quickly made her way through NightPack's territory and cautiously into the human's. She licked her chops at spotting a few lambs sticking close to her mother, she looks around for any sign of humans but sees none only the sheep dog laying lazily in the sun. It was much too easy this morning. She stalked closer and closer before leaping over the fence and bolting towards the lamb. The sheep finally noticed her but it was much too late, she had the lamb by the neck quickly turning on a dime as the sheep dog was now up and on her tail. She would've laughed if her mouth wasn't full leaping the fence the same time a bullet whizzed by her ear. Apparently the sheep dog's annoying barking had alerted the farmer. She was gone before the farmer could reload and eventually back to the den, dropping the lamb and panting a bit to catch her breath.

She looks over at Daisy and Sabre who seemed to be still where she last saw them. "Breakfast if you're hungry... and don't eat too much Daisy I don't need you sluggish. I'm going to teach you how to bird hunt this afternoon".

Sabre

He looks up as Nasreen drops the lamb before them, he wags his tail and begins to tear into some, the soft flesh tasted milky and sweet. He uses his claws and teeth to make a wound in the carcass as he eats, covering his muzzle in its sweet blood. "Thank you, Nasreen." He looks up at her pleased.

Boredom. That's all that was going around him, just plain boredom. Sure a few births were happening here and there but nothing really involved him, all he did was hunt, sleep, fly, and be bored. Every now and then he'd play with the pups but even then it's get boring. Comet laid on his belly and pawed at the ground, a gentle breeze brushed past his dark fur. His wings rested against his back until he finally decided to stand on all fours, they spread apart, enough to let the whole pack see it. Since he had nothing else to do he was gonna go out hunting. He flapped his wings twice, each time a burst of wind gushed to the ground making the grass sway violently. In a few more flaps he was up in the sky, while up high in the sky he looks around seeing absolutely no prey.

"SCREEEEEEEEEEECH" The sound of an eagle overlooking Comet rushed into his ears.

"
PREY" He yelled out loudly.

His wings flapped only once, that's all that was needed to make him burst to the eagle, he squinted his eyes in an attempt to stop the wind from stabbing his eyes. A slight bit of slobber escaped his gritted teeth as his claws sank into the eagle's back. Every other sound was drowned out by the eagle's screech of pain. Small droplets of blood latched onto his fur as the eagle plummeted into the center of the camp. Comet's wings pressed against his body tightly making him drop like a fly without wings. He dived headfirst until he was exactly five feet from the ground, that's when his wings spread apart once more to flap and break his fall completely. His paws met the soft ground as he grabbed the eagle by it's neck and dragged it to the food pile.

"
It's not much but it's something."

Sabre

Sabre looked up at Comet in Awe. "Wow, Comet!" He barked, "Nice catch!" The eagle was larger than the newly appointed to-be. "It must be amazing to fly!" He exclaimed, looking up at Comet with large, glassy eyes.

Kyle

Kyle looked around as if he were checking to see if anyone

was watching, and looked up at Fang. "I dunno what do you wanna play?" he asked perking his ears up happily.

Haven

Haven sat quietly wondering what the two were

actually doing. She'd know soon enough though, Kyle was never any good at keeping secrets. When Tasmashii approached her, she nodded her head. "I don't mind if you sit here." she listened to Tamashii, "Perhaps you should have pups to keep you busy. The war doesn't seem to be affecting us much."

Daisy

Daisy looked up happily to her mentor happily,

"I promise I won't!" she yelped as she bit in to the lamb. "Maybe..." She swallowed a bit of lamb "You should share with everyone else as well." By this, Daisy meant her mother who she saw sitting beside Tamashii chatting.

As he dropped the eagle from his mouth and onto the pile he licked the blood off his chops and stretched his wings far out, only to quickly press them against his body. He turned and saw Sabre, a smile appeared on his face as he laid down to his height. He cleaned his shoulder by licking it and turned to face him once more.

"Wow, Comet! Nice catch!"

"Hey thanks!"

"It must be amazing to fly!"

"It's okay, I'm just lucky to have something useful... Unlike the Alpha, he has useless horns."

He got back up and walked over to his den right after taking a small rodent from the food pile. He smiled to himself and laid down softly.

Ender

Shaking his head, Ender walked towards Cresent and Yikuru. "How is the day, Cresent?" He growled and nodded at Yikuru before sitting beside the two. Ender stood large compared to Cresent. He kneed the ground impatiently. He was still weary of Nightpack and it seemed like everyone else was pretty calm.

@Cyber Wolf

Sabre

The to-be recoils in shock at such harshness toward fang. He watches the older brute walk away. Sabre snorts before looking up toward Nasreen, wondering if she heard The winged packmate.

Cresent

The beautiful she-wolf looks up toward Ender with her emerald gaze. "Good morning, Ender." She says softly, before using her tail to gently stroke Yikuru."My day is pleasant so far, how about you?"

Ender

He nodded at her and watched the she-wolf and her sweet way with the younger wolf. She was much better with others than he could ever be. "On edge. Nightpack could be planning an attack," He continued to kneed his paws into the ground.

Naomi

Hearing the insult to her Alpha, Naomi approached the winged wolf with sternness in her eyes. "What is that I hear?" She showed her teeth, but kept a slight calmness to her. Sometimes she could seem more scary than Fang or at least when it came to Fang she was. "Did you say something about your Alpha? The wolf that protects this pack," She growled calmly. "A senior should know when to show respect," She slanted her eyes slightly at winged wolf.

@WaterPandas

Cresent

She could feel his worry. She looks up at him, she was afraid also. "if they are destined to attack us, they shall.. yet NightPack shall never have the power to wipe out SunPack." she speaks gently, and comforting. Her voice smooth and sweet like honey.

@DemonKitten

Fang

The alpha of NightPack smirks, before gently pushing the pup into the mud puddle behind him that he must not have noticed. He chuckles, before rearing up, slamming his large paws into the puddle, causing mud to splatter over him and Kyle.

Kabr

The male wolf awoke and stretched his forepaws, he knew the smell the Birthing Season was here he didn't care much for it he had no interest in courtship of any form.

There was no one that interested him here they were allies on the totem poll in this pack nothing more or less. The he-wolf went out into the open making sure to not allow himself to be seen as he did, when he was a decent distance away he reappeared, and began looking around he needed something to do preferable away from the more social wolves in the pack.

Osiris

Osiris was already awake and at work categorizing the medical supply stores this time being not just an important time of the year, bu also a very dangerous time and it was his job to make sure that these risks are minimized.

"Alright so I need cobwebs and, poppy seeds, maybe make sure I have an exact location of wild garlic." The wolf spoke beneath his breath with this in mind he exited out into the camp.

Vlair~

She had brought down a large elk, it looked to have been an older one and she was merely putting it out of its misery by killing it, She dragged it about two miles into her packs territory and laid it down, in the normal spot for eating. She howled aloud so her pack could find her, though she kicked herself because now the other packs would know where she was as well, But at least this time she was in her own area not theirs. She nabbed this elk because she knew it would please her alpha, whom she had a secret crush on. But non the less she waited for them. She disliked the season she was in for she had no mate and cared not that most of the others did, Sooner or later her Alpha would notice her.

Nasreen looks at Daisy as she suggested she should share. "Of course. I hunt for the pack not just myself. Everyone is welcome to my kill" She states before looking over at Comet as he makes a snide remark about Fang. "Wings are hardly anything to be proud about. They can't defend the pack. Fang's abilities surpass the simplicity of flying. Besides horns would hurt much more than feathers..." She states a bit harshly looking away from Comet as she waits patiently for Daisy to finish her fill before getting started on their lesson for the day.

Kabr

Kabr approached Nasreen he didn't pay much mind to what was unfolding the Alpha most likely rarely thinks about to hard about our opinions of him in comparison most of us are like prey and like most hunters they do not concern themselves with our thoughts.

"is there anything that needs to be done M'am?" He asks not even glancing toward her

apprentice.

Comet saw a wolf stalking up to him in the corner of his eyes. He turned and saw that it was only Naomi, he raised his paw and licked it gently which cleaned off small amounts of blood stains. He was about to greet her until she interrupted him. He sighed heavily as he heard the words escape from her mouth. A flick of his ears was an obvious sign of his slight anger.

"How dare she approach me in such a way after a playful comment like that..?" He thought to himself with an irritated expression on his face.

"
Hey, I can say whatever I want about the leader. And with all do respect my Deputy, I think you should start treating me with more respect considering I'm the main wolf here that gets food for the pack!"

He growled under his breath silently as he glared at her in a challenging way.

@DemonKitten

Nasreen's ears flick in a rather annoyed manner at hearing Vlair's howl, they were in a time of war it was not wise to be howling when one was alone. She looks to Kabr as he approaches her and gives a nod. Kabr was probably her favorite out of the other hunters seeing as how he was thorough and respectful. "Yes Kabr. Please see to Vlair. It seems she's managed to bring down something large that she cannot bring back alone. Which she is extremely bold for attempting on her own and lucky if she didn't acquire any injuries. And she's also very lucky if she hasn't brought the attention of any wolves with mal intent. After that you don't need to report back to me as our food supply should be well stocked" She inhales deeply to keep her calm at Vlair's foolishness. She glances at Comet at hearing his comment about saying he was the main wolf that got food. She let out a slight snarl but held her tongue trying to stay peaceful but between Vlair and Comet she was growing more agitated by the moment. A successful pack hunted together, they worked as a team but Vlair was off dangerously attempting a large beast on her own and Comet was boasting.

Naomi

She huffed and held back a growl. "I will show respect as long as you show it to your Alpha," She kept her fangs back, deducing if it was worth freezing the hunter for a few so maybe to shut his trap. He could be angry with her all he wanted, but Naomi did not stand for those that disrespected Fang. It took all she could to prevent from snapping. Normally, Naomi was a calm wolf. This only ever happened when it involved Fang, whom she dedicates herself to.

"Besides, I wouldn't want an unloyal wolf fetching my food when there are plenty that are loyal and can fill in your gap, wings or not," She straightened herself, somewhat pleased with her abilities. Even though Comet could catch the more high flying of prey, the other hunters could hunt just as much on their four paws without a boasting, senior.

"I'll be on it at once." Kabr replied before turning away and dashing off toward the direction of her howling. He agreed what she did was dangerous, but still a remarkable feat to say the least there had to have been more than luck involved in this case. As he got close he slowed letting himself disappear into from sight, just in case there were some unwanted guest in the territory. The wolf saw Vlair, and as he came back into sight he spoke in his normal adamant tone "I've been sent to help you take that back to camp, Vlair."

Comet growled and squinted his eyes angrily before unsheathing his claws and bearing his fangs. He started to yell rather loudly as a strong wind brushed past them, the wind came from his wings which were swaying very violently, with his wings spread he looked twice her size. His ears twitched and his claws sank into the wet, soft ground.

"Well at least I'm not lazy! All you do is sit around all day eating, sleeping, and wasting space! How about you do some work and get off your lazy bum!" He yelled out loudly enough for the entire pack to hear.

A scent brushed past against his nose, it was the scent of an elk. He walked off towards the scent and to the border of the camp, two flaps of his wings and he was gone into the woods where he began to hunt for even more prey.
