*Internal Screaming*
Lyza Miorid
A flash of light drawn from the sky intrigued Lyza, capturing her attention as the strokes of light destroyed the land, and the people with it she was sure. That must be where the star pupil of Cross-Light was, Lyza giggled as she remembered the girl, so open and friendly only to turn savage and beastly. Being far from popular in her school, Lyza's power was unknown to many, surly not as strong as Eri's but stronger than most.
Naturally she had kept away from people, a side effect of her solitary childhood, even up to now the only creatures she had been close to were animals, though really all of them were considered animals now. But cats in particular as they had their way of finding her even within this savage war. Fortunately for her, when her father had forced her into being independent, she had gained much knowledge in how to survive without the 'givens' like food and water.
For now she simply lived with the thoughts of what could go wrong next, like a poisoned water supply, or food decay, cannibalism, or anything of that nature.
A muttering attracted the girls attention, her ears tuning into what the broken voice was saying.
“… They should be gone. Or, perhaps, pain is the only thing I should feel.”
There was a pause before the quiet mummer spoke again.
“... Yuuki..”
And again.
“Father……”
Then one final time.
“What do you know? I ended up killing more, and even got myself into another war.”
The voice held quality of those who have recently revisited the- unwelcome memories of their lives before the war. Curiosity gnawed at Lyza's mind as she glanced at the roof of a neighboring building, where there stood a raven haired girl, the moons milky light illuminated her from the dull devastated scenery. A small demented smile etched its way across her lips as she giggled yet again.
"Living to live, only to live till death. Not really living when the broken pieces of a memory are flitting in a mind struck by betrayal of any of the sort that could be considered the beginnings of anything.. Possibly depression?" Stroking the cat on her lap she continued to speak not quite knowing what she was saying, nor caring that the girl could be ignoring her very presence.
"Nobody knows for sure what the possible outcomes are when the mind is overtaken by the animal inside, but betrayal and fear are the lead things leading to a life of an odd hell that will soon take over the minds of those whom have killed. Survival and insanity, death and amenity.."
