A Campfire at the End of Time
[This tab shall remain blank until the RP commences]
[Plus I am working on the intro post]
A loud, shrill noise erupts from the loudspeakers in every room, awaking all of the Subjects from their slumber. Every morning, the Noise would sound, commanding them to rise and head to Breakfast. There was no human to bid them good morning. In fact, the Subjects had never once seen the scientists who controlled and manipulated every aspect of their day. Their schedule, their diet, and other such things. They were Animals, inhuman, monsters, owing their existance to the brilliant minds that had... introduced them into the Project. That is what they had been told, by the monotone, robotic voice over the loudspeaker every morning at Breakfast, every afternoon at Lunch, and every evening at Dinner. The time inbetween, was spent working them on their powers until they collapsed, and sometimes, even beyond that. And then after the day was over, normally, they would be brought back to their Cells, where they would be automatically locked in by the Facility. Not one of the Subjects had ever resisted, ever fought back, never objected, all in fear of the power the Scientists held over their lives. As the Subjects began to head to their Breakfast, the doors would close behind them, locking the way back.
