Fantasy The Final Battle

Lust frowned and fell to her knees. Her face was in pain but she never transformed back to her old self. She stared at him with Penelope's pleading eyes.

"P-please. Stop, what are you doing?" Tears formed in her eyes and she tried to tug away. "Felix, please." She whispered.

@Tetro

"You are not Penelope. You are a demon and you will pay for your transgressions." He responded, tightening his grip on her shoulder. "You will never be her, Lust...." He whispered coldly. Felix began to raise his scythe, tilting it for a perfect smooth swing.

@CharmyPie

Annoyed, she let her tail grow back and pried his hand off of her. She moved away just in time. A second later, she would have been headless.

"This could have gone in a completely different direction. One I'd heavily prefer. I am crowned Lust, y'know." She quickly stood and her tail was gone. She still had Penelope's form.

@Tetro

Frustrated. Angry. Filled with Wrath and Hatred.

Zel paced in front of her throne, feeling her corrupted heart sink deeper into darkness and insanity.

She gripped her trident and burned herself in the fires of hell.

It was a pleasant feeling, compared to the war within her.

"Zedekiel, wont you come see me?"She asked after a while, knowing that he could hear.

She opened a portal to hell.

@Archene

"That direction would have been viable if you weren't a disrespectful whore." He slammed his scythe into the ground, cracking it. He left it embedded there, "Penelope is dead and I will not allow you to desecrate her memory by keeping that form." Hell fire engulfed both of his hands. He made flames erupt around them both keeping them in a circle. "You will suffer for this."

@CharmyPie

Lust gave him a devilish smile and turned back to her own self. Her wings grew back, her tail, her horns, and her deep red eyes.

"Darling, if you preferred this form, you could have just said." She sighed. "And how hurtful are the things you tell me, I have feelings too." She grinned and took out the Dagger of the Queen. She eyed the scythe quickly then stared into Felix's eyes again. "So tell me, what's your problem? Suddenly butting in here when I was having such a peaceful walk..."

@Tetro

Felix was actually a bit more at ease now. The flames went away and he grabbed onto his scythe and pulled it from the ground. "My problem is the stress all this chaos and imbalance is putting on me." He responded. "You have feelings? I never would have guessed you had more than one." He scoffed. Felix removed his helmet, revealing his face. His beauty was almost beyond compare, easily beyond anyone Lust has seen before. "I prefer many things. I guess I am honored to see your real form. But it hardly matters..."

@CharmyPie

Zedekiel himself, was tired. Not of the mental kind, but of the physical kind that you get when you feel all your bones broken thrice in the same day. He was only setting himself down against some tree in a nameless forest. He didn't have much rest however peaceful that forest was... for soon enough he heard the voice of a certain Queen contacting him, followed by a portal. "I will be with you soon, Beelzebub." He stood up before stretching, even checking his own clothes to see if they were presentable. Self-mending clothes always look presentable. Soon enough, he stepped through the portal.

"Excuse me for the delay," The fallen angel first said, even before he was able to properly look at Beelzebub. The least that could be said, is that he was surprised at the one before him. Even then he still says, "Are you unwell, Beelzebub? Did something happen?"

@CharmyPie

Lust stared at him and put the Queen's dagger back on her waist. She was unarmed and distracted. She stared at him with wonder.

"Beautiful." She said, obviously dazzled. Myra has seen a great many things... she doesn't get impressed easily, but it was obvious on her face.

"I see, the chaos upsets you. If it upsets you, then why fight? Wouldn't that tip the balance more? Walk with me, maybe."

@Tetro

"Am I well?" She smiled bitterly. "I am not."

The Queen of Hell set down her trident and walked towards the fallen angel.

"Thank you for coming, I needed the company. My children are being rowdy. It's hard being a mother."

She smiled. Her weariness seemed to be gone, and she was back to her alluring self.

"You seem tired, what happened to you?"

@Archene

Felix began to walk with Lust, standing beside her. "I was forgotten by my father and siblings in heaven, and mother noticed me and gave me a home. But now I feel that no one cares anymore. Both sides have no loyalty, faithfulness, or balance. I was the Cherub of Judgement and Balance. Now that I am forgotten I feel as though I have no purpose. This war confuses me..." He talked to her. "I despise all the grossness of the demons and the imbalance of the angels..."

@CharmyPie

Daemyra walked with Felix, her eyes never leaving him. She'd trip occasionally but she cant seem to bring her eyes off of him.

"Now see here, this is how I see it. I see Order and Law at one side, I see Freedom and Chaos in the other." She shrugged. "One side restricts all, the other restricts none. And you, Felix, stand in the middle. But isn't that what this war is for?" She paused for a while. "I think mother waged war to have something in the middle. At least, that's what I think. You can always ask her, y'know."

@Tetro

"I see, I see." The Fallen Archangel of Mercy saddened slightly as he heard her woes, "I hope that they stop worrying you soon." As her weariness faded, he smiled softly at her, "I had a small fight with one of your children. Got my bones broken a few times, nothing that some rest won't help me with. Nothing to worry about." He smiled softly... even as he felt a stinging feeling against his soul before forming any negative thoughts about it, he gave her a warmer smile.

@CharmyPie

"Mother... The others... They don't fight for something in the middle. The humans favored father because he was kind and positive and nice. He was clean and pure and loyal. Those are traits that are attractive in a long lasting way. No offense, but lust and power and pride and selfishness and envy and corruption may be... enjoyable." He gestured to her stomach, "But it does not last and it is... fake." He continued walking with her, looking at her as well and ignoring her little trips. He found them a little adorable. "I do not trust mother, not anymore... And being in the middle is so.... Lonely..." He responded sadly.

@CharmyPie

Zel nodded at the fallen angel. She hadn't been paying attention to earth ever since the Hydra died.

"oh, I see." She smiled at him. "Aren't you in pain, fallen archangel of mercy? Does this place have no effect on you? Do the sights of the earth not trigger anything at all?" The Queen's smile turned sad.

"Wont you have mercy on them?" She leaned to his ear and whispered. She pulled back and stared into his eyes, seeing his soul. Darker.

@Archene

Myra nodded and tried to understand Felix. But she wasn't made the same way as he was. She's the embodiment of Lust, and a sister to the 6 other sins. Her own being was filled with the filth and corruption that Felix just said. She was tied to her mother and had no will of her own. She wondered what it was like to feel what he felt.

"I think otherwise. The fleshly wants such as lust, pride, power, sin, corruption... they're not fake. They'll always be there. Man is corrupted. The purest of the pure have such things. Even Gavreel has pride and a hunger for power. It just isn't obvious 'cause it's his already. " she paused "What happened to you, beautiful fallen angel?"

@Tetro

"You are correct... And maybe I was mistakenly the middle of this all." He responded. He stopped and turned towards her when she asked what happened to him. "I was forgotten and betrayed..." He answered.

"I was once a proud and kind giver of judgement. If I can resist the purpose I was made for, I believe you could too my sister..." He explained. "Every fiber of my being is telling me to kill you now but I do not. I was connected to Gavreel in a similar way, being the embodiment of his judgement. If I can resist, I believe you can learn to become like me..."

"We are free beings, you and I."
He told her. Felix could see a tiredness of the war within her, and an internal struggle of urge that he had and has as well. Felix looked down sadly, slowly moving his helmet to put it back on to cover his face.

@CharmyPie

Zed nodded back at the Queen, but smiled softly, not only because of the perceived worry but also because of how he was called, "Something akin to a thousand needles piercing my soul, again and again. A strange invasive feeling in other words. Up there, however it is a more..." He seemed to ponder briefly, "It is comforting, like washing my soul, bringing it peace." He nods slowly, "I was being as merciful as the situation allowed... He didn't die." He sighs, "It is hard... at times to deliver mercy to all, when you know the whole web of feelings." He sighs, "To some of them, death is the only mercy I can give, due to the suffering they will bring and of their own suffering."

@CharmyPie

"No..." He responded. "I am not. The stress of this all is making it hard for me to resist." He gripped his scythe, "Perhaps you were right..." He looked at his weapon then at her. Felix seemed only to get serious when he had his helmet on, which he shifted a bit. His scythe blade began to cloak itself in flames. "I love you, my sister." He spoke, looking like he was preparing to strike.

@CharmyPie

Admittedly, Psyche did feel slightly bad for lying to the demon.

But it was a necessary sacrifice - he still was what he was, no matter how many times he denies being involved with his bethren. A demon, she thought, should be punished by any means, even if it meant going against her own morals. If lying about the spear's burn did it, then by god she would do it thrice.

Her weapon hardly chose the ones who had good intentions or no and quite frankly, the angel thought him to be quite naive that he fell for this. It may be sentient to some extent, but this was clearly pushing the boundaries of what a piece of metal could do. No sir, instead it wasn't very different from what she did. It burned every demon who came in it's close range, and quite severely, too - slight guilt began weliing up in her, but she quickly shook the feeling off. Instead of moping around about this or that or beating herself up over a lowlife, Psyche preferred to simply wait for the results. She didn't think he would return, anyway.

Meanwhile...

"Hey, can any of you see a spear? No? Is a shake of a hand yes or no? I ca- whooopsie daisy-"

He continued searching even after he slammed his head against a tree.

Tetro said:
"No..." He responded. "I am not. The stress of this all is making it hard for me to resist." He gripped his scythe, "Perhaps you were right..." He looked at his weapon then at her. Lust was tired. She looked at his helmet and sighed. She walked towards him quickly and removed it, seeing his eyes again. She stared at them for a while and smiled.

"If you're going to kill me, at least show me your eyes." She set the helmet down and stood in front of him. Her face an inch from his. She leaned forward to kiss him.

Felix stopped and blinked in surprise, he wanted to move back but didn't. When their lips connected a burst of emotions washed over him. His weapon dropped to the ground and he just stood there, kissing her. He wanted to be upset though, not enjoying the idea of kissing the woman who had bedded probably all the other sins. The only feeling he could develop though was pity for wanting to take the life of someone who SEEMED to care about him.

@CharmyPie

Daemyra wrapped her arms around his neck and leaned on him entirely. She didn't notice that he dropped the scythe. She enjoyed having Felix in his arms. He seemed sad. The only comfort she could give him was this.

I'm going to die in this war, anyway. Might as well be it in his hands. She thought. She pulled back to get some air, but kissed him again.

@Tetro

"I've seen it enough to know that..." It wasn't the first time he heard those words, he knew it wouldn't be the last... whether it was himself or someone else telling him. "There are still ways, compassion still saves lives in its own ways. To truly bring death to those who need is beyond my powers as they are." The pain in his soul increased, but the Fallen Angel of Mercy was as ready as always to endure. He was made to endure pains and sorrows. He had to endure.
