And then she started screamed and he screamed back and tried to back a few steps, but ended up hitting his head again a rocky surface and proceeded to scream again. Just when he was about to curse, she had seemingly recovered from her initial shock and was reduced to just breathing heavily.
"Cripes...", Narcisse muttered and rubbed the side of his head. "Way to introduce yourself." The angel just stared at him, wide-eyed, when he looked up. She was clutching her arms over her chest, both of her hands balled up into fists as if she was excepting an attack.
"Who are you?", she eventually demanded to know and furrowed her eyebrows in anger. She added a "What am I doing here?" before he could open his mouth to speak. Narcisse looked away, unsure of his answer then; he still reminded himself of the little plan he had conjured some hours ago and would make sure he actually followed the plan without her bashing his head in with a rock.
"I'm Narcisse. I, uh, saved you from the battlefield." Way to be smooth. "You were bleeding out and, uhm..." The demon scratched the back of his neck awkwardly. "I brought you here 'cause you burned my entire arm and there's a river here.", he finished lamely. The water started dabbling on cue.
The angel looked at him for a second, confused, but then she seemingly had a realisation - her eyes widened even more than previously and she clenched her fists so hard that the knuckles began to turn white. "Demon!", she whispered hoarsely, and from one second to the next that innocent look on her features turned into seething rage. "You vile creature!", she exclaimed, "Have you brought me here to violate me? To kill and get rid of me? To bring me to your bethren and- urgh..."
Halfway through the sentence, she had tried standing up, only to miserably fall on her behind.
"Look, I don't want to do anything!", Narcisse hurriedly explained before she could say another word. "I found you in the woods, injured and crying in pain and just wanted to help!" "You're lying!" "Maybe I'm not?! Why else would I bandage your wound?" She quickly checked and her face scrunched up when she saw that he told the truth.
"That was someone else!", the angel declared. "That's my hood you were destroying with your blood for the last three hours!"
