...⊗It took a little while, but soon the trembling stopped, as did the tears. Kanon just sat against Achilles, feeling while not totally fine, she did feel somewhat better. She curled her legs against herself as her eyes closed, tiredly leaning back against him. Exhaustion from the day was catching up to her, and it was showing in her sullen features. All her emotions were exhausted as well, feeling nothing but a shell of who she normally was at the moment. The strong confident Kanon was gone, replaced with a broken and more fragile one. Her body slumped against his, and while her mind was screaming that it didn't want to be touched by a man, having him near wad the only thing keeping her sane at the moment, or doing something that she would regret. So she just laid there, before a small voice escaped her lips⊗...

"...I'm sorry..."

λAchilles held her tight. "You have nothing to be sorry for." he spoke to her firmly. "You will always be my lamb. No matter whatever happens." he finished as he kissed her neck, while comforting her. "I am the one to bear the shame for not being fast enough to stop them. And I will bear it forever." he whispered mostly to himself. He held her, and loved on her as much and as hard as he could.λ

...♤Lumina was staring down at her hands, so she didn't notice that Siegfried had donned the crude smile. Really, she didn't want to look at him if she didn't have to, so her lap was a good place to look. During this time was when he did the adjusting of the mana in her body, and unfortunately for Lumina she felt the need to adjust how she was sitting right at that moment. Upon moving she felt the shock of the sensitivity across her body, and without meaning to made a surprised moan. Heat immediately rushed to her cheeks as this happened, and out of embarrassment and worry she clamped her hand to her mouth, which only made the sensations worse. It was like... the feeling she got from the base of her wings, except everywhere... behind her hand Lumina bit her lip to keep from making anymore sounds, hating what was happening. This man... he was sick. Awful. Her eyes moved up to him in anger and disgust as he explained what was happening, asking about how if she shared feelings with.. oh no. She recalled how Kenji had told her that pairs share feelings, and if she was feeling this now then... trying to keep still as best she could (it wasn't working that well), Lumina spoke, also trying to keep her voice as steady as possible♤...
"...w-what do you w-wann- ah! ...w-wanna know..?"

...♞Siegfried snickered at Lumina's position, thinking it was truly a shame he didn't fancy being to close to others for just about anything, thinking on how Thomas, being the closet pervert he was would just love this sight even if he wouldn't admit it. About then, when Lumina spoke Siegfried's serious face snapped back on, his smile gone like it had never been there in the first place, then crossing his arms and keeping his chin down Siegfried cleared his throat before speaking in a cold voice♞...


"Well, if you treasure what little pride and dignity that you have left, i want to know about the two beings Thomas encountered, they seemed usually powerful, and one claimed they were bothers, so what are they? Oh, and if you hold anything you know back, and i find out you will become more sensitive, and i may even lock you in a cell with horny goblins."

Alejandro sighed, "Enough about me. Tell me about yourself." He said, before Hyouinmaru appeared at his side and pulled up a chair.

...ΨKenji suddenly felt an overwhelming sense of pain stemming from the centre of his chest. He doubled over in pain and dropped to the ground as the darkest corners of his being began to call out to him with words of comfort. Kenji began resisting the dark call, yet his power began to spiral out of control as it was being tugged between his control, and the growing Darkness. His body began to turn a burning red colour, and steam began to manifest from H2O in the oxygen around him. The concrete that he stood on began to bubble and melt from the sheer heat that was being created through his out of control power. His skin began to turn black and his head began to throb, prompting Kenji to put his hand onto his head. The sound of his combat trainer rung throughout his head as he involuntarily teleported to an old wheat fieldΨ...


“ Your powers are not meant for destruction, Genesis. ”


“ N-no.. ”

...♅Akira stood ontop of an abandoned warehouse that was directly beside Kenji, scanning the area around him. Upon hearing the sounds of frustration, he turned his attention to Kenji and took in the scene before him. He pulled his First Curse from it's holster and spoke as it lowered to his side♅...


“ You must control your powers, Genesis. ”

...ΨKenji continued to hold his head, his second hand soon meeting his first and holding the opposite side of his head. He grit his teeth and spoke to the male that stood above himΨ...


“ I-it's too strong! ”


“ Fight it, or you'll go supernova and destroy everything. ”


“ I-I can't.. control it! ”


...♅Akira sighed and vanished, shortly before he appeared a few feet away from Kenji. His own presence clashed with Kenji's, causing the wind to whip around them in a violent fashion. Akira spoke as he raised The First Curse and pointed it at Kenji's chest♅...





“ You will. Or I will put a bullet through your chest and leave the carcass of my first and only brother in the dirt of this dull, corrupted world for no one to find. ”

...ΨKenji's eyes snapped up to Akira at his words, the faint sense of familiarity becoming more apparent. Brother? Kenji knew he heard it right. The man before him called him his brother, which meant that it could be only one person. Kenji realised that this is Akira. No, it was Akira. Kenji knew that Akira would never say something like that to him, and as if attempting to confirm his thoughts, he called outΨ...


“ B-big broth- Ah! ”


...ΨKenji was dealt one more painful blow to his head. He suddenly lost control as the Darkness washed over his consciousness. His once red irises turned black, and his skin began to turn white, which seemed to match his rapidly changing hair colour. Kenji went Lost. No, it was different than that. Lost usually occurred the second the Sanctum felt pain from his pair, yet from Kenji's reactions, he was only feeling fear and anger from Lumina. Whatever form Kenji was in, it wasn't Lost. It was beyond that. It was as if the Darkness forcibly took over Kenji and triggered a unique Lost form. One that only craved the destruction of the Universe. This was the first time it had ever happened to any Sanctum before. Hate and pain personified. Suddenly, Kenji snapped at Akira, an angered tone completely devouring Kenji's once gentle voice boxΨ...


“ You can't stop me, Imperius. This is the end of everything! ”


...♅Akira raised his gun and aimed it at Kenji's chest, talking with the same emotionless tone as before♅...





“ No one has to die today.. ”


...ΨKenji smirked and continued to build up his power, his skin soon turning an orange colour as the heat continued to climbΨ...


“ Wrong.. ”


...♅Akira narrowed his eyes as he watched Kenji's skin grow brighter from the heat swelling up within him. He spoke, a more serious tone flooding his voice♅...





“ Don't.. ”





...ΨKenji continued collecting his power, shortly before his skin began to turn white from the increasing heat that was building up within him. His heat had reached Supernova, all that was left was to activate it. Kenji called out in a triumphant, aggressive voice as he stared at the skyΨ...


“ Goodbye, you miserable Huma- ”


...♅A gunshot cracked into the air and bounced off of the surrounding buildings, as loud as thunder but without the raw power of a storm. In comparison it was tinny and small, coming from one direction only. Even if it could have been mistaken for the crack of an oncoming squall, there wasn't a cloud in the sky. To Akira, it was just another kill. The police sirens came with alarming regularity as the smoke rose from the barrel of Akira's gun. He exhaled lightly and spoke as his amber irises scanned over the body before him♅...


“ Such a waste.. ”

...ΨThe bullet spat out of Akira's gun, red in the darkness. It hit Kenji in the chest, propelling him backward in an awkward cartwheel. Kenji fell backwards onto the warm, partially melted ground behind him. The Darkness dissipated and was vanquished by Akira's bullet. Yet this didn't come at no cost. Blood oozed from Kenji's chest, bubbling from the heat that was previously stored up within his body. For a few seconds, Kenji looked up at the sky as if trying to admire it one last time. He spoke as tears formed within his eyes. The black waves then folded over him as his eyes closed. Kenji's presence vanishedΨ...


“ I-I'm sorry.. Lumi-chan.. I.. couldn't.. protect you... ”

...♅Akira turned around and began walking away, leaving the body of his younger brother in the field, surrounded by his own blood. His gun felt heavy for the very first time, yet nothing weighed on his mind. It seemed to be a subconscious reaction, given that he just killed his younger brother in order to preserve life. Even though he had more power than ever before, he still couldn't save his little brother. Despite having all of this power, he could save himself from death, but not his loved ones. A black spot stained his conscious with each step he took away from his younger brother. Something within him wanted to stop and turn around to at least try to save Kenji, yet he continued walking away. As he did so, he couldn't help but count each footstep that he took. His irises sunk from the sky to the ground, shortly before he vanished from sight with a heavy heart. He manifested within his apartment, and he immediately sat up on his bed. He stared blankly at the gun that rested on the bed sheet below him. Four words quietly left Akira's mouth. He then remembered what Datenshi had previously told him♅...


“ What have I done..? ”





“ Your "evolution" was no choice, Imperius! This is not you having come to an understanding after careful considered thought! This is corruption! ”

Camilla watched through the door tilting her ever so slightly watched the scene in front of her, it was rather heartwarming in a way really, seeing this little reunion between the two, smiling a little she stepped back a bit to not get in the way, though Camilla did find what Kaname's mother had said rather odd, couldn't protect who? Camilla had no idea, but didn't ask nor planned on doing it later either, it was probably none of her business to be asking, well in her opinion anyway, she didn't want to seem rude...

Kaname's gaze traced the floor behind the position of which his mother stood before him. He had only allowed himself to remain against his mothers for a couple of brief moments, before he had decided to straighten his posture and question his mothers arrival. Though when giving it a minute of contemplation, Kaname decided against it. Blowing his breath in hopes of relaxation, Kaname rolled his shoulders back and repositioned himself to lean in the doorway of the apartment, glancing to look at the peering Camilla. "Camilla, you remember my mom don't you?"


Layla's gaze trailed from her retreating son, to the figure peering in the door. Giggling quietly, Layla was about to speak, before she a gentle whisper finally processed through her ears. Kalin. Raising a brow, Layla's gaze drifted off to the wall behind her while her lips parted to speak. "Kalin....if you're there you can come out. There's two people I'd like you to meet."
