Fantasy The Chalice Academy

"OK sure, Haruka then" Smiling, knowing she wasn't the only one who'd gotten lost reassuring her. "Well, you lead the way I suppose? I don't even know where in the school this is." Spreading her arms for emphasis, afterwards she waiting for Haruka to set off in whatever direction, awkwardly not knowing what to say next.

Serephene nodded, and turned to decide where to go next. "I'm not good with direction myself," Serephene warned. "But I'm sure we will find some students wandering the halls." She guided Kanari down the hall, walking just a bit ahead to make sure they were headed the right way, even though she had almost no idea of her destination. If she was lucky, the students they would find would be in Mr. Michealis' class, and she'd be able to lead them there with Kanari. Serephene was grateful to the teacher, as he had laid markings on the floor so that they'd be able to find their way to his classroom. She silently thanked the man as she turned a corner, and of course, she bumped into another person.

She blinked, and drew back. "Sorry," she apologized, looking up. Ah, a student. She glanced back to check that Kanari was still with her before asking, "Do you have Mr. Michealis as your first class?" She paused, feeling like she forgot something. "Ah, pardon my rudeness--I'm Serephene, and this is Kanari," she said, gesturing to the girl beside her. "We're supposed to round up students that have him as their first class."

(Sorry if I'm slow--I'm on mobile, and I can't really see what I'm typing since the menu bar keeps on coming down and blocking the text box. I'll also have a lot of typos, so please bear with me as I fix them. :P Oh, and the student I bumped into is none other than you, @neverin ! And I hope you don't mind me introducing you, Kanari... :3)

((its ok >m< after this post I going to bed for a little))

Being pushed into is not much of a problem, as he turns he notices its two girls, and the girl with black hair introduces them " well, my names solarise, im sol... and yes im in Mr. Michealis's class... is there anything you need" he gives off a soft tone and smile as he turns to them, it was kinda cute how she introduced herself right away, but he was reminded of that girl who had run off... what was her name?

(Ah, okay, it's late where I am, about 1, but I'm still typing xD )

Serephene recognized him as the male who was with Emily. "Nice to meet you, Sol." She continued, "Class is about to start, so he needs you in his room, with the rest of the students. I've heard he can be a bit...scary when a student is late, though I have a feeling I'm putting that mildly." She pauses. "I think Emily, the girl you were with before, is also in his class. Do you know where she is? She ran off before I could ask for directions. She seemed to in a hurry." She walked around him and headed for a door. "I remember watching her go into a room..." She pushed the door open and peered inside, looking for Emily.

Following Serephene they rounded a corner, watching her bump in another person considering the possibility that their earlier collision might not have been her fault after all. The boy she'd walked into towered over her, having to be at least 6"4, being slightly intimidated she was relieved when Serephene introduced her to the boy on her own. Stuffing her hand into her pockets after he introduced himself she began playing with a pen, waiting for the two to finish talking so they could carry on, trying not to stare at the Sols height.

As Octavius approached Sector 100, he would hear Mr. Michealis voice. "How nice of you to arrive early Octavius. You are welcome to enter now or stay outside for the moment". Mr. Michealis then makes a note in his book. Octavius might have a shier side to him, but he was an independent thinker nonetheless. As for the others, the leader would soon emerge as will the truants. The Flesh Eaters won't be released just yet.

Growing impatient as Sol and Haruka talked, probably partially due to the fact that Sols height reminded her just how short she really was Kanari decided to go ahead, guessing the black line would lead her back to the lobby as well as his classroom, "I'm going to go ahead, See you later Haruka" Giving her a short goodbye before setting off.

Entering the lobby she did her best to get everyone's attention, unfortunately being drowned out by the noise of the crowd. Sifting through the throng of people she found Tessa, assuming she'd have more of a commanding presence than she did. "Hey, Sorry about running off earlier." Apologizing for her earlier exit, figuring that Tessa would be just as confused as she was "Anyway, I think our first class starts soon, one of the teachers asked me and another girl to show everyone to the class, could you help me get everyone's attention please?" Speaking while she took a seat next to her, hoping Tessa wouldn't be angry at her for vanishing earlier.

"It's okay, I guess." Tessa grumbled, "Everyone seems to be running away from me today. I don't know why. Maybe you all just hate me." She shouldn't help Kanari. But then she remembered that she'd made a promise to be nicer to everyone. She climbed onto her seat and cupped her hands around her mouth.

"Listen up!" she yelled, and the chattering students fell silent, "Who here wants to be turned into furniture and/or get eaten today?" Unsurprisingly, nobody raised their hand.

"Then, move it!" Tessa commanded, "Kanari, lead the way!" She climbed back down from her seat and looked at the other girl expectedly. She could feel her face turning hot just from shouting. God, she had to be more careful or she was going to burn the freaking school down.

"T-thanks." Stuttering slightly as she spoke, even she could tell Tessa wasn't at her happiest at the moment, deciding not pushing the subject would probably be the better choice she lead the rest of the student body along the path Mr. Sebastian had created, wishing he'd allowed the other students to see it, leading up in the front being pushed on by impatient students being slightly nerve wracking.

Having walked for a few minutes the crowd arrived at the end of the trail, turning off into a classroom, presumably the one Mr.Sebastian was teaching, noticing Octavius was already present, and back in his normal form. Especially surprised by this, not having expected an whole hour to have passed already, waving to him and jogging up to meet him "You should probably apologize to Tessa, She seems... upset at the moment"

(Sorry, I fell asleep....)

Serephene backed up from the room, as Emily wasn't present inside. She heard Kanari announce her leave, and replied back, "Okay, be careful. I'll see you in class." She drew away from the door, closing it with a soft click before turning to Sol. "I'm sure Kanari went to the area where the students are gathered, and she'd probably bring them to the classroom. For now, we should return to Mr. Michealis' classroom." She turned her head towards the sound of a voice yelling, probably getting everyone's attention, but she was sure it wasn't Kanari.

Serephene turned back to Sol, waiting for his reply. Did he have other things to do? "I hope you're not planning to skip class," Serephene joked, though she realized a tad too late that it might have come out harsher than she intended. She mentally chided herself, and made a note not to make a joke again, especially when she had her...communication problems. She looked downwards at the floor, hoping that she didn't offend the boy she had almost just met. She didn't want to relive her past school years.

Crossing her arms, Tessa managed to get a hold on herself. This is why she didn't talk to people, they annoyed her. She couldn't say she was exactly happy about Octavius and Kanari ditching her. She had looked like such a loner in the lobby. But it was fine now. She took deep breaths and leaned against the nearest available wall, praying that it wouldn't vanish behind her and turn into a pit of snakes or something stupid. She was fine, just fine. Just fine...

((Going to sleep now, will be back tomorrow. Guys, feel free to either gather in the hallway or just sit yourself down in the classroom. Mr. Michealis won't be responding much till everyone's inside))

"You know I might just want to head inside," Octavius says aloud to the voice, making everyone around him stare. I better get inside the classroom. Good job brain! He heads to classroom 102A and opened the door. He then takes a seat furthest away from the windows. What to do while I wait? He takes out a large book from his bag and starts reading.

Rayu walked into an emptying room, and guessed that they were all headed to class. He had Mr. Michealis for his first class, room 102A. He looked at the crowd, and decided to follow. While he arrived at his destination, he spotted a girl with fire-red hair in a particularly sour mood. He was about to walk over to her, then reconsidered, as he wasn't really good with people, and he'd probably just anger her more. Sighing, he walked into the classroom and took a seat near the window in the back row, pulling out a book to read until the teacher started teaching.

(Hehe, I don't know what to write, so I just did this....I'm not sure how to jump in.)

There was a boy and he'd been looking at her. Then, he'd sighed and vanished into the classroom. There was no way he was getting away that easily. Tessa walked over to the door and kicked it open, storming into the classroom.

"Why the hell were you looking at me?" Tessa demanded, stamping over to the boy; then, she noticed Octavius and added, "Hey Octavius. I met your 'sister'." She returned to glaring at the other boy.

Rayu blinked up from his book, not really surprised by the girl's outburst. "You seemed to be in a bad mood," he said calmly, meeting the girl's hostile glare. "I just thought I'd talk to you, but reconsidered, because I'm not good with people." Her temper was just like his, he noticed, and he smiled inwardly. He wasn't the only one, was he?

"God, you're another one of those antisocial losers. Why did I even bother talking to you?" Tessa rolled her eyes. She'd done it again. She'd got angry and lost control of what she was saying. She crossed her arms, her face and hands growing hot. Don't set anything on fire, don't set anything on fire...

Rayu just smiled. "I guess." He flipped a page of his book, disregarding her last remark. He was surprised that he himself didn't lose control, since he got easily angered by those particular comments when anyone else would say it. He shrugged it off, thinking that it was a first-day thing, and he was unconsciously trying to keep down his temper. He felt heat radiate off the girl and looked up, and she seemed to be in thought, as if telling herself something. "Is something the matter?" he asked, even though he knew something was up.

"No." Tessa took a deep breath, "I'm fine. I'm okay." She let herself calm down before collapsing into the nearest seat. She looked at him, wondering why he infuriated her just by looking at her. She shook her head.

"I'm Tessa." she introduced.

Rayu blinked a bit. She seemed to gain her composure quite quickly, as if she has been through the same thing before. She was looking at him as if she was looking at a puzzle that connected to be a different image than she expected...or something of the sort. He listened to her introduce herself. "Nice to meet you, Tessa. I'm Rayu," he said, placing a hand on his book.

(I can't really join the RP until Sol does something--my character isn't the type to leave someone like that. xD Anyway, welcome, @Dyness )

"Hello." Tessa said, "You don't by any chance have any abilities to do with water or ice, do you?" That would make sense. She didn't get along with people that had opposing elements. There had been a few of them last year and they always gave her a prickly feeling under her skin.

Rayu shook his head, guessing by her question that she was one with a fire ability. "No, but I used to know someone who has both those abilities." His memory was hazy, but he was sure he met someone, but as he was talking to Tessa at the moment, he pushed the thought from his mind. "I'm guessing you use fire?"

( @macaron Thank you. And I just took a look at all the profiles--it seems that you're going give Tessa a prickly feeling under her skin. xP)

"Yeah." Tessa said, "Is it that obvious?" She supposed it must be. It was probably her hair that gave it away. Fire red wasn't exactly most people's natural hair colour. Or it could have been the scorch marks. She had a lot of scorch marks on her clothes from past accidents.

Rayu nodded a bit. "Your clothes," he said, "they're scorched. As well as the heat that your body produces. Only fire can produce such strong heat." He titled his body a bit so that he could face Tessa. "And your hair is a beautiful color." He eyed the redness of her hair, and it seemed like fire, almost, the way it reflected some light from the window, but it a way, it seemed like it was creating its own glow, just like a real fire would, though Rayu wasn't sure.

He paused, realizing that he actually held a conversation. People would most likely shy away from him and his eyes, as they were said to be "demonic." He lowered his head a little, dark thoughts of the past returning to his head. Then he remembered another, someone who was fogged up in his memory, and he grit his teeth. It frustrated him, how he couldn't remember the person, and the only thing he knew was that he or she was somewhat important to him. Was it his mother? Or maybe a long lost sister...brother? Or his best friend? Thoughts invaded his mind as he waited for Tessa to reply.
