Gears sung one leg over the back of the bike and say himself down on it. He tapped Ichi on the shoulder before handing him a open faced helmet he had strung on the back "If your driving you gotta wear this" He said.


Gears trusted Ichi to drive properly but he wanted to make sure he wasn't going to get hurt if anything happens.


"Take me to the dorms chauffeur"

"Your a dick" he said while chuckling. He put the helmet on and took his foot off the ground .Ichi started a bit slow to accommodate his experience with the bike. He slowly speed up so he wouldn't fall and injure Gears even more. When he got a to decent speed he looked behind him to check on Gears. He looked to Ichi to be fine but when he looked back the bike started to wobble. He panicked a bit and slowed down to lessen the wobble. When he finally got it stright he speed back up to normal speed. "So Gears, where are you from?"

"Oh, it seems your finally awake. Anything this book has in it really." Mako told him as he continued to flip through the pages of the book. "And if I actually told or showed you, it would be giving a way my secrets to the enemy." Mako said as he gave him a smirk. He found the guy somewhat odd especially since he slept on a bench. "Shouldn't you be in a class? It isn't good to skip class. You'll be caught." Mako warned him as he looked at a specific page reading the enchantment.

Ryuu would shrug, continuing to look at Mako as he flipped through the pages. "Hm. Good Choice." He would reply. Thinking to himself for a moment, as he pulled back his gloves more, he sighed. "Hmm Hmm, caught? I guess. Buuut, you see, I got here a few hours ago...hmm..or was it a few moments ago?" Ryuu would keep muttering to himself as he tried to remember, but, shrugged, seeing as he couldn't. "I guess you could designate me as a transfer student." He'd yawn, standing up and looking around. "Hmm, speaking of which, what are the classes they have around here?" With that said Ryuu would begin fiddling around with his hood, pulling it down as he took out a pencil in order to draw on the back of his sticky note.

"Depends on what your schedule says." Mako told him. "Do you not know how school works." Mako asked him. He found the boy quite weird that he forgot when he arrived or how school worked. I mean everyone has been to a school when they were younger right? Not necessarily a magical one but a regular one.

"Hmm..do I know how school works..?" Ryuu replied, scratching his head as he realized his blunder. It was odd, while he did know how regular schools worked, it seemed he'd forgotten for awhile. Bumping a fist down on his palm, he raised his head up to the sky. "Oh. Apologies. I know how school works. The thought of how it did seems to have left me for awhile. Whatever the case, I need to go find my schedule.." He'd say as he rummaged around in his tiny bag. "Hm? Oh. Found it. Now..let's see...math..history....huh?" Ryuu would pause as he looked over the last few classes, involving thing such as magic and combat. Looking up to the sky, he'd shake his head, turning to look at Mako. "Say, what time is it? Depending on the time I may have just missed some classes.."

Gears balanced himself on the bike before replying to Ichi "An industrial city in Australia. Plenty of work for a man with my talents...doesn't mean everyone wants them" He paused for a second thinking about his past life. It wasn't glamours sure but it was simple at least. gaining his breath "What about you? Where are you from?"

"It's almost noon. So you may have already missed a few classes." Mako told him as he closed the spellbook. He stood up as he closed his eyes and said the words he read within the book while he pointed his palm outwards. With a few seconds after the spell was casted a clone of Mako was made as it started from his feet to his head with a mean look on its face. "Yes it worked!" Mako said excitedly.

"Noon huh..Hm." He'd look over at Mako as his clone started forming from nowhere. "Hmmmm...the ability to create clones..something that'd be fun to experiment with out on the field.." He'd murmer, looking up at the clone, then back at Mako, half expecting the clone to evaporate in a silent puff of energy, or mana, whichever of the two Mako had used. Whether Mako was an actual mage of some sort or techno-mage was left up to debate until Ryuu saw his abilities. After a two seconds of thinking, he'd follow up with a question. "I wonder..from your reaction it seems that this has been a spell you've been working on for some time..hm. Would you use it towards a path to deception, to a path which will try overpowering your foes, or something else?" As for Ryuu, he'd slowly open and close his fist, trying to remember if he had any other powers in development, or not. If it was the former, than it had been a long time since his training of said powers..he doesn't really remember the last time he was developing new powers..huh, well, that's one thing he needed to sleep on.

Abraham was on his way to his next class when he happened to cross paths with Ryuu, Mako and his clone. "What do you two think you're doing?" He asked, standing menacingly with his arms folded across his chest. "Don't you have a class to get to?" He was going to have to warn the other teachers about students using clones, or maybe he should start using clones himself.

"Actually, this is my first time using the spell." Mako said as he looked at Ryuu like he was weird when he talked about the path he would take with his power. "I'm pretty sure I make my own path." Mako said as he saw what looked like to be a teacher coming towards them. He knew instantly that this wasn't gonna be good. He knew that the teacher would think he was skipping class, it wouldn't be the first time he was accused."Actually this is my free period. So I have no class at the moment." Mako replied to Abraham.

"Huh..really? I look forward to seeing how you use it." Ryuu replied in regards to Mako's first statement. Lying down, he'd wonder...what would be the right thing to do? What was his path? In any case, it'd be something to think about in later..after all...Ryuu's powers were something to experiment with. "Wait..what?" Ryuu would sit back up, noticing an older fellow accusing them of skipping class. "Oh, my name's Ryuunosuke Shinobu, I walked in like a few minutes ago. Or..was it a few hours ago..no..wait..it was definitely a few minutes ago..wait..maybe.." Ryuu would say the first sentence with a blunt sense, being straightforward and sounding bored. The next sentence would have him sounding confused..and, well, sounding like a clueless idiot really. Whatever the case, he decided to shrug, following up with another sentence. "Oh, yeah yeah, I'll go to my next class when I go....meh." With that, he'd go back to lying down. Hmm..but, then again, I should really go next class..could be something interesting. Or not. Whatever the case.

Abraham took one of Ryuu's ear and forced him back into a sitting position. "Lucky for you, after this class I have the rest of the day off and it looks like I'll be spending it with you." He let go of his ear and turned to Mako. He stared at him for a couple of moments before walking away. Mako was a good kid, in his opinion but he could tell this Ryuunosuke would be a bad influence.

Mariel was new. New to everything. Not just to the school. She had come down from where she lived before only a few weaks ago and everything seemed strange. She walked around the school campus, searching for something like and office or dorms or anything she could refer to as point, which she should remember. Even though remembering was something she wasn't that good at. She found a library and decided to go in. She liked libraries, she knew them already from her home. She entered and looked around checking if there was an adult to help her get orientation or maybe a student to do so.

Mariel still walked around the library confusedly. She had decided to read but these books were different from what she knew. There were no information's that were really objective. All those books were written by humans. And most of the information was changed to their own benefits. She shook her head confusedly. Why would they lie at their own race. That made no sense.

Gears had rested and was back on the bike. He was riding down the main strip when he noticed the tall outline of the library. "Haven't been there yet" He thought to himself as he turned the bike around and gunned it towards the library. He parked the bike out the front and pushed open the tall wooden doors. He walked into the library and started to stroll around. Some of the other students whispered as Gears walked by. He did, after all, look like a thug with his collar flipped and sleeves rolled up. The first couple of buttons undone on his untucked shirt and his jacket open. He wasn't the intellectual type but still, maybe he could find something on arcane engineering here. He was walking through one of the isles when he noticed a girl looking rather lost. He walked along until he got to her.


"Hey. You okay? You seem a bit lost." He tilted his head slightly looking down at the small girl.

After her class from her weird Professor earlier that morning, she felt that the time went fast. Guess that's what meditation will do to you. Llaryssa said bitterly as she was on her way to the library to check out some book regarding something about Arcane magic. She half hoped to bump with Mako, and asked how was his lessons.


Shaking her head, she went towards the librarian and asked for the location of the book she was looking. The librarian politely pointed where it was, obligingly Llaryssa walk towards where it was. On her way, she saw a girl that has a confused look, a guy asked if she was in need of assistance. She just smiled at them as she pass.

Someone suddenly spoke to Mariel, which scared her for a second. She looked up at the gigantic human above her. "I'm new and wanted to find my room. Then k found the library and looked for books a little but their all not honest. I'm Mariel, what about you?", she asked smiling at the stranger. She hoped to make a friend. Mariel never saw the bad in person, since she believed everyone was good deep inside.

As someone else talked to Mariel as well, she turned towards that person. "As I just said I look for my dorm...but I got lost between the book. And my name remains to be Mariel.", she said, smiling at the second stranger as well.

Gears smiled at the bubbly little girl. "That was quick!" He thought to himself.


"Names Gears!" he said in a very happy tone.


"Pleasure to meet you!" He held out a hand for a few seconds before pulling it back slightly.


"That would look like i am making fun of her..." He thought to himself. Gears stomped his foot on the ground and the portion of ground that was underneath Mariel raised up so she was about his height. He held his hand out again with a huge smile "I am an Arcane Engineer!"

Mariel gave a surprised noise as the ground under her moved. Then she laughed happily. "Hello gears. I'm Mariel and I am an angel.", she said, smiling at him and shaking his hand. She was happy as she had now made a friend. Or at least thought so.

Gears shook the little girls hand and then kicked the stone pillar she was standing on. The ground moved back into the wooden floor and looked exactly the same as it did before.


"So!" said Gears, letting go of her hand "Did you need a lift to the girl dorms?"

Mariel nodded. She needed to look up again as she wanted to speak with him. "That would be truly kind of you. Isn't gears a weird name for a human?", she asked, not wanting to be rude. She was curious about her new friend and had a lot of questions.

Gears turned around and started heading for the door. He waited for Mariel to catch up before saying "My real name is John Torque but most people call me Gears" "After you Madame" He said with a slight bow and a cheeky smirk on his face as he held the door open.
