Gear smiled at the 'RKO' comment and adjusted his shoulder "I don't really know what was up with the overgrown cattle...i think it was summoned by accident somewhere in the school...oh well. I am pretty grateful the teacher was there" Gears chuckled slightly "I've got almost no combat skill...actually i was meant to start one of the combat classes today but that doesn't look like its gonna happen" He sighed before clapping his hands together "What exactly knocked you on your arse?"

Hearing that even the guy who was in fighting the Minotaur also didn't know he decided not to press on."I walked into class and they were doing an explosion experiment.Someone failed and it hit me in the face" Ichimatsu mumbled with discomfort. He was actually surprised that there was a combat class and was interested in joining one."Wait there's a combat class? is there any requirements for joining?" Ichimatsu wasn't the one to fight but he really needed it. He was an okay at fist fighting but when it came to using his eyes for battle he had no clue.

Gears shrugged "I don't think so. I have got no fighting skill either. Truth be told i haven't really used my powers in a combat situation like that before. But it worked well so i am gonna go swap a class. You can come along too if you want" Gears paused for a second and held out a hand with a childish smile "The names John but everyone calls me Gears"

Ichimatsu smiled back and shook his hand.He seemed like a good friend to have when things get tough."Ichimatsu,but I prefer Ichi." Ichimatsu stood up and tested to see if the headache was gone. He shook his head left and right and it shockingly it had subsided. He went to the nurse to ask for the ingredients of the ice pack and wrote it down in his notes.After he finished writing it down he went back to Gears and pointed to the door with his head."Lets go, I mean I don't think my teacher would get mad if I don't show up to class."

Gears let go of his hand and waited for him to get back. He jumped of the bed and opened the door to the hallway. He waited for Ichi to walk through before he closed it and ran up next to him "So. Whats your skill?" He asked walking down the hallway. Gears had a big childish smile on his face. He had managed to at least be on a first name bases with another student, which was probably the first step to making friends. He didn't really know. He has never had any.

Putting away his notebook in his backpack and zipping it up,he wondered if this was what a friend is like. Ichimatsu wasn't the type of kid to talk, he just kept to himself because of his ability. But now that he was in the Academy he could finally be himself and loosen up a little. "I really don't know myself actually, but i do know a few things" He took his glasses off and felt all of his surroundings become sharper. Ichimatsu loved talking his glasses off because it felt like his whole body was taking a deep breath and sighing. He could feel through his eyes the movements of Gears, the nurse, and the teacher they left behind. He looked at Gears with his eyes already returning to their normal state."You could say I got REALLY good eyes I guess" He said while placing his glasses back on his face with a disappointed sigh.

Gears smiled slightly at the moment of joy that appeared on Ichi's face when he took his glasses off. It looked like a kid discovering ice cream for the first time. He wanted to ask him why he doesn't just keep the glasses off but was afraid he would be pushing it a little "Really good eyes huh..." He looked up slightly while he was walking "By the way. I need to make a stop by the English block on our way there" He stated "Is that cool? 'cuase i left my bike out the front"

Isabella tried recovering from her shock, slowly reverting to normal before Via grabbed her hand and tugged her in. Only that she was still alive to see Via being, well... Via was a miracle in her mind, and she put on a weak smile as she nodded her head in affirmation. On her way in, that half-demon girl (Lilian) met her eyes for but a moment, and Isabella made sure to not be crushed by fear yet again as she diverted her gaze to the warm hand that Via took her into the classroom with. 'If there are any problems, I'm sure the teacher they assigned to this class is strong enough to handle them. Oh, and Via has nice, soft, warm skin... Too bad I don't have interest in dating right now. That aside, isn't this quite a small class of only twelve for a room that would easily seat a hundred?' Isabella stopped in her tracks, practically becoming as immovable as a tree while she tapped her chin with her free hand. "Hey, Via... Where do you want to sit? This classroom is huge, so we can sit almost anywhere. I vote sitting in the window seats!"

"Whoa, dude you come to school on a bicycle." Ichimatsu said while laughing."I didn't expect that, you seem like you'd have a car or something." He didn't think that anyone who owned a bike would look this cool. Ichimatsu's parents gave him enough to survive and then some but never enough to get a transportation device. He took a right instead of continuing straight to the school office to indicate that he would follow Gears to where his bike was.

"Uh not exactly...i sleep in the dorms here" Gears decide that it would be much more fun if Ichi saw the bike for himself instead of him telling him "I am part of the engineering class here and i found it in the back store room. One quick fix up later i had it running. I don't have that much cash. And what i do have i had to work for" They rounded the corner and stepped outside into the warm sun. As they headed over to the English block the building had already repaired itself from the Minotaur attack "Damn this place works fast...Well here it is!" Gears held out his arm motioning towards the old styled motor bike parked by the front door "what do you think?"

"Holy,you fixed that!" Ichimatsu was basking in the glory of the bike. He didn't realize it at first but then it clicked in his head instantly that he wasn't talking about a bicycle."You know how to ride a motorcycle?" He was always dreaming of riding a motorcyclist with his glasses off but it had always been that,just a dream. As a kid his dad would show off his bike to him but would never let him ride on it because of his mother. When he got old enough to ride it, it was just a heap of metal and was broken to despair. Ichimatsu came to it and started to take it in detail. He then took out his notebook and started to take notes on the engine, wheels, torque, and such. Ichimatsu thought maybe if he took information on this bike somehow he'd be able to fix the one back at home.

Gears looked over Ichi's shoulder as he was taking notes "Yeah. I can fix pretty much anything. And most of the time i don't even need my powers!" He hopped onto the bike and started the engine "An you learn how to ride one pretty quick when you know exactly how it works" He revved the motor a little "Hop on! I'll drive us over tot the main building. I really just wanted to make sure the Minotaur hadn't destroyed it in its rampage. By the way" He looked up at Ichi "Why are you taking notes?"

He looked away from his notebook for a second to reply."Its become a habit, this is like my 3rd notebook this week." Ichimatsu went onto the bike and put away his notebook."I have a broken motorcycle back at my house but i've never really known how to fix it." He then got an idea instantly after Gears making the comment on how he can fix anything."Could you do me a favor and after school could you teach me how you fixed this bike?" If Ichimatsu could learn how to fix the bike,maybe he can also learn how to fix other stuff at his house. His Dad was always complaining about the science equipment always malfunctioning but no one in the family was an engineer of some kind so they always had to buy new ones.

Gears turned around slightly and looked Ichi in the eyes "Look...I can try and help but don't expect miracles. It took me 6 years with a professional training me to hone my skills properly. Hell, i started fixing things when i was 5. But i will try. For now lets get to the main office and change our classes" Gears revved the motor hard before turning around and calling back "You might wanna hang on to something!" And with that he popped a mono and began flying towards the main office.


He couldn't help showing off.

Via sort of got pulled back when Isabella stopped walking with her, Via looking back to see what was up with Isabella. As Isabella asked the question about where they should sit Via looked around, her seeing that the window seats are pretty secluded from everyone else. Although by that she figured that Isabella just wanted some space, which she simply just guessed seeing as how she hasn't known her for that long. With that in mind she takes a short look around yet again and notices the girl Lilian sitting near the back of the class, her seeming rather fine in her secluded location as well. This was a bit off from what she expected from the classes in this school, although she was pretty much just going off of manga and random television shows.


"I guess," she sates a bit bummed that there were not more students in the class at the moment, her adding with a slight smile, "Yeah that's okay with me." With that said she makes her way over to the seats near the window, her taking a seat and placing her bag next to the desk.

Lilian could tell that there were a few new students to the school by just comparing those that she had seen last year, her looking as if she is scanning all of the students for information or whatever by how her emotionless face looks past each of them. He eyes land on Via for a moment, her thinking to herself, 'That one is more than she seems.' She pauses and looks to Isabella with a slight double blink, 'Some form of night-breed.' He eyes then look toward the door for a brief moment after looking at the newest individuals for a moment, her thinking to herself, 'Could the new teacher be a truant?' With a pause she then adds in a monotone aloud, looking straight forward with an emotionless expression, "That would be fun..."

Ichimatsu instantly started to hold onto anything he could but ended up just flailing his arms trying to balance himself."Dude what the hell!" He hoped for dear life that this ride would end an in instant. When he finally was able to keep his balance then he was able to calm down."Does your ability have anything to do with machines?" he wondered out loud. Ichimatsu's only strong points were his intelligence and his eyes,other than that he couldn't do anything extraordinary. He had a slight urge to take off his glasses during the ride but he didn't want to risk loosing them and having to close his eyes for the rest of the day until he got a new pair from his dorm room.

Gears brought the bike to a sliding holt just in front of the office. He turned the bike of and waited for Ichi to get of before lifting his leg and getting of himself. He kicked the stand out and turned away from the bike "Well...my skill is called arcane engineering...I can shift mass to my will" He held out a hand over the ground. Sparks of electricity shot from his hand and hit the stone ground. The stone shifted and made a perfect cube about half a meter by half a meter. Its was in the middle of a small crater "I can use it anyway i see fit. Which means i can fix things without pulling them apart and build giant walls if i feel like it...but i dont really know how to use it in a fight" He shifted the ground back to normal before heading into the office "Lets go"

Ichi looked at Gears's ability and wondered if he had the same kind the things he could do, but one thing confused him."If you can shape matter and mass to your will,couldn't you make it a weapon or something?" Ichimatsu said while getting off the bike."I mean it seems to be that way though?" He then looked at the hole that used to be there and looked to see if they're was any mark or residue left off by the arcane engineering but it was perfectly fine. Ichi always wanted an ability that could be used offensively but the only thing he could do that could be considered offensive is to look from someones perspective. It dawned to him then that maybe he could be used in some type of secret missions of some kind as he could jump between people's eyes. Then again, he did like to watch tons of spy movies. Ichi made a mental note in his head to practice the ability. He dusted himself off and caught up with Gears.

Hinshi flicked open the lighter, taking a moment to admire the dancing blue flame on top of the silver case, swirling patterns engraved into the metal. He ended that moment by gently lifting a cigarette into his mouth with the weak wind manipulation of his gloves, taking a puff of the now lit roll with an astounded face as he looked upon the door to his classroom. 'Someone unlocked it? Good, not everybody in this class is a total newbie... Really though, collecting the so called advanced students into a single class under my eye?' He released a cloud of smoke, using highly practiced mental control to ensure the smoke safely disperses outside. His mouth opened into a slight grin, the cigarette floating out of his mouth until he wanted another puff. 'Sounds like my work is cut out for me... At the very least, I hope for an entrance that won't make me seem horrible.'


Hinshi kicked open the classroom door, sauntering his way over to the desk situated in the front of the room, separated from the chairs by 30 feet of cleared wood floor. He sat on the desk, not caring for the papers and books on it as he observed the people in the classroom, counting off on his fingers for roll. "Ah, how lovely, all twelve of you are here. If you are wondering why I am teaching this class today and not the other teacher in this department, Mrs. Faet, it is because we have decided to lessen the load by having one of us teach people with a normal affinity or talent with the arcane and all magic, while the other, me, teaches those of you with... A bit more skill. Are there any questions you would like to ask me before we begin?"

Gears started walking into the office while calling back to Ichi "Oh yeah its just i don't know the best way to do so" Gears walked up to one of the lady's managing the office. After some time filling out forms. He had finally dropped English and replaced it with Advance Combat training. He walked back outside and sat on the bike waiting for Ichi to walk out. He was wondering if he could really utilize his Engineering skills as a fighter.


He doubted it.

Ichimatsu repeated the same action that his friend did but instead of English he dropped Culinary Arts. As he was walking away the Secretary called him back for a second."Ichimatsu is your birth last name by chance Mei?"she asked. Ichi was surprised that she had known as the documents they had given them was only about his foster family."Yes,how come your asking." She had signaled him to come and look at her screen."A teacher with the same name used to work here but hasn't come back in a few years" she answered. For a single moment an arrow of hope struck him to mystery of his parents but he instantly struck it down thinking it wasn't possible."I don't really see how that has anything to do with me,plenty of Japanese people have come to this school before,who's to say that someone could have the same last name as mine." He walked away while saying thank you for the information.Remembering on how his parents found him was always left a bad taste on his tongue and walked out with a sour face. He saw that Gears was already waiting for him and changed his face expression for the sake of him not worrying. Ichimatsu walked up to the bike and also sat down saying sorry for taking so long."You wanna go check out what the class is doing right now?"

Gears started up his bike "Yeah. Its says here that they are in the arena right now...So to the arena we go" He revved the bike before taking off at a slower rate than before. He brought the bike to a stop just next to the door to the arena. He turned the bike off and waited for Ichi to step off "Well? You ready? This class may hurt a little bit..."

Rubbing the back of head while chuckling he stepped off."If I get hurt i'm making sure you go down with me" He walked to the door of the arena and attempted to open the door but it seemed to be shut."Yo, I think the door is closed" Just to check he took off his glasses for a bit to see if anyone was in there. He felt the movements of people and enhanced his eyesight even more through the slight crack of the door and noticed that a fight was beginning."There's people in there though" he continued while putting his glasses back on."Could you somehow create like a key or something to open it? If you get in trouble i'll take the blame don't worry"

Gears walked up to the door and looked it up and down "There is no key hole..." He ran his hand across the front before giving it a little nudge "Oh dude...its jammed" Gears lifted his foot and kicked the door in. The door swung open with a lot a force and slammed against the wall with a loud 'BANG'


Gears turned to Ichi "Well. There goes being quiet"


He walked in and turned towards the stairs before he started to head up to where the rest of the class was.

"DUDE" Ichimatsu walked up the stairs trying to hide his face with his hands but inevitably couldn't."Were gonna get in so much trouble,you fucking drop kicked the door" he said while laughing. He gave up trying to hide himself and decided to at least try to look confident. He fixed his clothes up and stood straight while sticking his chin up trying to look cocky. Ichi didn't see how this would work but he didn't want to look like he couldn't defend himself. When Gears got to the end and walked up and realized that the fight literally just started so he slipped in to watch while signaling Gears to join in and watch.
