Via sort of had two people speaking in between the silent pauses, her wondering what this school year was going to be like. The two people that she has just met seeming to be the nice sort so it was going pretty well so far, which was surprising to her to some degree. With that going through her head she turned her head to look over at Isabella, seeing that she just asked them what they were taking. Via paused as the boy answered the question first, him seeming rather shy at first glance then she answered, "Um I think I signed up for Arcane study, I can use my gift pretty well away from water but when I'm near it...well it sorta gets out of control."


With that said she follows beside Isabella toward the building that was no doubt the girls dorm, and the boys dorm was just off into the distance on the other side of the schools courtyard. When they arrive at the outskirts of the school a sort of blue hued barrier pops up sensing a boy, Via passing her hand through it and stepping through it, "Huh...guess they were telling the truth about that then."

Isabella easily passed through the barrier, hesitantly waving at Haruki. "See you later, Haruki." She let out a heavy breath, relieved that she was able to restrain herself in the presence of a mage. She looked towards the dorms that reminded her of the extravagance of a castle she inhabited about 600 years ago, and it gave her a feeling of nostalgia. 'How much I missed out on in that accursed spell... How much the world has changed.' "So, Via, ready to begin the whole high school experience? I wonder who I'll be sharing a room with... It's kind of interesting to see so many different people gathering."

Looking down at the two's hands, she wonders if it was true. If Lilian's mother really would not mind her dating another girl. Maybe she already knew about their relation. She did find them rather comfy in the morning. As Lilian asked about her mother, Masumi smiles. "Of course, my mom is always supportive of anything I do. I'm sure she'd love you." Her mother was understanding of how she felt. How she acted. It was just part of her nature. It wouldn't matter even if she did not. She wanted it.

Via paused for a moment as they walked over to the doors of the school, here wondering if this school had rooms with two occupants. She figured after a moment that they might do that for most of the residents, although she also figured that they probably had some living alone as well. The fact that they were both late arrivals probably meant that they would be sharing a room with someone. With all of that in her mind she nodded and smiled over at Isabella, "Yeah, I'm sure it'll be a blast Isa." She had just given the girl that she met just a short time ago a nickname, although it didn't register in her mind at all.


When she walked through the double doors a girls walks up to the two of them and hands them both a key with a room number on it, "Guessing you two are the ones I was told to wait for, here's your key to your room. Since you're late arrivals you'll have to room together." With that the girl walks away, and doesn't say another word...it seeming that she was perhaps a faculty assistant.


"Together?" She simply says aloud as she looks down at the room key, and then looks over to Isabella her adding, "Well I guess that answers your question..."

"You think she would," she simply says aloud as she glances up at the ceiling, her wondering what he mother was like at the moment. Part of her figured that she was like Masumi a bit, or at least that is what Lilian got from what Masumi had told her about her mother which was not much at all. With that said she looks over at Masumi again and then releases her hand, Lilian getting on the floor and starts to pick up the chess pieces. Her placing all of them in the wooden case along with the board, which she then placed on the nearby table. When that was done she looks over her shoulder and says with a light nod, "You two can play as well..."


She pauses and then says turning around to face Masumi, "I'm sure she would like that Mi."

Isabella prayed that her face was not as red as her thoughts at that moment, quickly turning her face. "Ah... Calling me Isa... Sharing a room... Is this okay with you?" It was the first time anyone had called her Isa, and sharing the room with a girl she had already defined as pretty was pushing her instincts. "After all, I'm a monster... Being just a friend with me is risky enough, but you'll be my roommate and you've given me a nickname? I don't want my first friend to be hurt because of me..."

"Monster," she said in a slightly whimsical tone, adding with a pshaw, "This whole school is full of people that would be considered monsters out in the human world." With that she did a side step and stood in front of Isabella her reaching for her hand, "Right now I just see someone that should smile more often, you have a cute smile after all." With that said she grins and says with a light nod, "How about we go check the room out, it's probably not that great but it's a way to start out the school year right!" Quite frankly Via was just happy to have met someone so early in the school year that she could talk to, her being quite the blabber mouth when in the company of others.

Isabella smiled as requested, her eyes looking into the distance at a castle long gone burning in white flame overcome with the red of vengeance, emptiness engulfing her for a moment. "There is a difference between a monster and a human with different skin." She whispered this to herself, finally recovering. "You think my smile is cute? I'm flattered, for such a pretty girl called something of mine cute. Well, I don't know about you, but there are a few things I need to bring with me wherever I go. I'll be back in five minutes if I go top speed, so don't go missing this smile now." Isabella grinned and began the teasing, sticking out her tongue before she turned to leave.

"Sorry for asking a dumb question."


Llaryssa smiled at him. "it's okay, it's your first day. Very understandable. The academy is quite big for someone who's just starting." She reassured then added, "Don't worry, you'll get a hang of it. Just give it a week or so." Llaryssa tried to asses the guy in front of her. Wondering what kind of powers he possess. She was itching to asked him what can he do but she felt she was being nosy. So instead, she bid him good bye, "If you don't have any questions, i'll be on my way then. See you around."

Via cocked her head slightly to the side and stood there as Isabella made her way outside, her thinking to herself, 'Hmm she is definitely odd...but she seems nice enough.' With that going through her mind she made her way up the stairs and to the singled out room that was pointed out to her. When she stepped inside she realized how bare the place was, it only consisting of two beds with sheets and such, two separate desks in between the two windows and one closet for the both of them. "Well it's bigger than I anticipated," she says aloud to herself as she walks over to the closet and hangs up her clothing she had brought with her. "No reason to wear this I guess," she says aloud again and then takes the boys uniform off and places it in the bag, pushing it in to the closet.


With that done she gets dressed adequately, in her pajamas and such seeing as how it was like five or six now. She flips her hair in the mirror and nods to herself, the blue pajamas looking way better than the uniform from earlier, "Ahh...much better." She then lays down on the bed to the right of the room-if you we walking in-and lets out a light sigh as she stares up at the ceiling, "Bed's soft at least..." Via thinking to herself as she laid there, 'Wonder if Isa will mind if I chose this side?' She shrugs and then thinks to herself, 'Ehh to late now...'

Isabella returned to the room she and Via had received, setting down the coffin she carried on the ground. 'If I want to retain a peaceful life without needing to drink blood, I have to sleep in this. What a bother.' Then the image of Via with her odd blue hair flew through her mind, and she refuted the notion of it being a bother. 'If I want to keep her and my future friends safe, this is nothing.' She raised her pale hand up and knocked on the well designed door, regretting that she did not have her own key. Then she thought about the school, leading her to think of how there was no mention of a school cafeteria in the book she received, and wondered how Via would eat. 'Maybe I could cook for her, I saw the servants do it enough times to make something decent, I suppose... Where and how would I cook though...' In her train of thought Isabella took no notice of how long Via took getting the door, completely lost in another world as her eyebrows furrowed. For one of the first times in her life she was seriously considering the needs of a human so she could care for her new friend.

Via sat up in the bed when she realized that there was a knock on the door, her then looking over at the table and realizing that the girl had given her a key ring with two keys on it. 'Oh, that's silly,' she thought to herself as she got up and then walked over to the door. She pulled open the door and greeted Isabella with a light smile in her sleeping attire, "Welcome back, forgot that the girl gave me both keys." With that she walked back over to the bed and sat down on it, her looking toward Isabella and what she was bringing in, "That didn't take to long." She was going to say something about the coffin but she figured that it was a necessity, seeing as how many vampire kinds exist so one would naturally need a coffin for some reason or another.


That story had to come from somewhere after all.

"Oh. OK. Well uh bye, I guess."Mako said to her. He didn't realize that she was busy or he wouldn't have asked her to help him. Even if it was a short distance. Mako stood in one place thinking of what to do next seeing how classes were over. He wanted to know more about her for some odd reason.

Isabella felt a bit awkward, knowing that Via was staring at the coffin that she placed on top of her bed. "The coffin is where I sleep to keep the need for blood to survive down. Since I don't fancy killing everyone for food before they call an army of exorcists on me, I thought it nice to have." She grinned at Via, obviously exaggerating, deciding that it would be better to tell her now and not have annoying questions later. "But, never mind me, what about you? Isn't this about the time most people eat? I don't remember there being school-organized meals, so how are you going to eat?"

"I wonder if it's comfy," she sort of said aloud as she looks at the coffin, which would probably not be the usual thing most people would say when given the explanation of why she had it. Regardless she then looks back over at Isabella and simply double blinks when asked about how she would eat, "Oh I only really need to eat once a day, food isn't that necessary for my kind." That in itself was pretty useful for keeping the food budget low, which is a pain in some households. She paused and then added with a slight tap to her chin, "Although I think there is a cafeteria that caters to all of the specific needs of the students here and a cafe for coffee and sweets n' stuff." She then paused and then added with a light, "Each dorm has a kitchen to I think...least I think I remember reading that..."


Those kinds of things were in the pamphlet that she was given before she made her way to the school, her figuring that Isabella didn't receive one before coming here.

Isabella frowned, folding her arms in agitation as she remembered that person. "Oh, maybe they didn't tell me that because I don't eat... Oh well. That makes me happy, one more bit of knowledge and one less thing to worry about." Isabella cleared up her agitation with that person immediately, considering what else they needed to talk about. During her thought process she stealthily moved the pillow of her bed to inside the coffin, well aware of how worn the current pillow was. "Ah-ha!" Isabella smacked her fist into the other hand, an idea entering her head as she looked at the coffin painted black with gold rims and bizarre, twisting patterns. "We need to set rules for this room."

"Rules for the room," she said with a double blink, not expecting that to come out of the girls mouth at that moment. The last thing she thought they would have in a dorm away from the school class part was rules but she figured she might as well go with it for the moment. With that in mind she simply nodded and replied, "Um okay, what did you have in mind?" Via didn't really have any rules in mind for her to say, seeing as how all of this was rather new to her so she figured just being here was good enough for her so she figured on hearing what Isabella had to say. She was somewhat interested in what rules she was going to say, her at the moment sitting cross legged on the bed awaiting the proclamation.

Haruki walks into the front office to get the key for his dorm room. "U-um I-I'm h-here t-to g-get m-my d-dorm k-key." Haruki says as he blushes and looks down at his feet. Unsure if the lady at the desk heard him, he looks around the office. Sphynx, being impatient, jumps onto the desk and speaks to the lady. "Hey lady! Haruki here needs a dorm key!" Haruki looks embarressed after her sudden outburst. "O-oh s-sorry a-about h-her. I-I w-was w-wondering i-if I-I c-could g-get m-my d-dorm k-key?" Isabella blinked, once, twice before realizing the other girl had no idea or intention to have rules. "Well, I was thinking that it would be nice to prevent any anger inspiring events between us... Um..." Isabella scratched the top of her head, almost as if digging for ideas. Her eyebrows furrowed as she thought deeply, steam seeming to burst from her ears. "... I dunno. I don't know you well enough to set up anything that could help, except maybe shower times. However, I'm not even sure if this room comes with a bathroom, because so far the information I was told about this academy has had a cruel streak. That and I am forever suspicious of someone having put an eternal illusion on me. I get discombobulated easily, so I don't trust anything related to directions or places." She pouted for the last bit, but she realizes it as her eternal weakness. Switching ages in history didn't help her any, and the touches of modern design in the dorms unsettled her. It doubled the time she took getting the room while she tried to find it.

Via was somewhat amused with this girl in front of her, it seeming like she was like a time traveler that had just popped into a future time or something. Although as she thought about it for a moment she figured that that could be possible, her not really knowing that much about her past or anything so anything could be possible. "There are showering and bathroom spots on each floor for the students to use, kind of like a communal thing." With these things she was saying Via wondered if this girl even knew anything about this school, seeing as how most of the things she knew were in the pamphlet she was sent. With that said she purses her lips in thought saying with a nod, "Well you could just ask me if you need some help adjusting to the place."


She let out a light laugh as she sat there for a moment her enjoying this moment a bit, "I was worried that I'd be the one totally lost, this is throwing me for a loop." Via paused for a moment and then adds with a slight tilt to her head and a smile, "But as for rules and such, I guess those things can wait until we get to know each other a bit." She lays down on the bed and scoots over patting the spot next to her, "Lay down and ask me a question Isa." Via was pretty lax with all of this, her simply wanting to get to know the girl she was thrown into rooming with.

Isabella pouted, really hurt by this turn of events. "It's not my fault the higher ups of this age are so sadistic..." She muttered this, walking over to take the offered seat. She lowered herself to lay on the bed sideways, hands under her bed. It made her really happy that she made her first friend so easily, and she thought that the situation was very good for her, making her almost consider thinking that not everything was out against her. "Ah, a question? Hmmm... Why haven't I seen your other side, I guess would be my first question? Does he not enjoy school or something?"

"Oh, him," she simply said with a light giggle, her saying with a light shrug, "He was a little shy about coming into the school so I went ahead and took over." With that said she looks over at her and says with raised brow, "Apparently while I'm in the girls dorm it's like he's not even kicking around, it's really weird but I can tell that it just put him to sleep so it's nothing bad. I guess because of the field it's like he isn't there seeing how no male can enter." She simply shrugs at that statement, the whole situation being pretty weird for her but all in all things worked out well enough it seemed. On the other hand the field could have not let either of them pass and wouldn't that have been a pickle.


"So that makes it my turn right," she says aloud and then thinks for a moment, asking with a nod still lying down now looking up at the ceiling, "What do you like to do with your free time Isa?" Her question wasn't as odd as expected but at the moment she simply wanted to know a little bit about this girl who was a bit peculiar.

After getting his dorm key, Haruki heads towards the boys dorm. "I wonder if I have a roomate?" Haruki mutters to himself. He isn't paying attention to what's in front of him. He crashes into someone and falls to the floor. "Oof!" He cries out when he hits the ground. He looks up at the male he crashed into. "S-sorry I-I w-wasn't w-watching w-where I-I w-was g-going." He stammers nervously. @Anyone

Isabella's eyes widened, surprised at the effectiveness of the barrier. That even nonphysical existences could not enter seemed a little extreme, but at the same time it made sense considering who this academy taught. "It's a shame, but I guess I'll meet him later. I bet he's either a lot like you or the opposite of you, otherwise it would get really boring or drive both of you insane." She folded her legs as she heard Via's question, and answered happily. "Well, I love it when Thein tells me about the outside world!" Her eyes filled with grief as she realized the name that came out of her mouth, but she quickly covered it up. "Ah, but now that it's been a few years since he left me and I've done a little exploring of the world myself I suppose I need to find something else... Watching people, maybe? Humans are not even close to perfect, but they are so intriguing. That, and they react funnily."


Isabella looked at Via, grinning with a sudden idea to see if she could get her new friend flustered, almost proving what she just said. "I know!" She sat up, pushing her body slightly behind Via, and put her mouth close to Via's ear. "Boys or girls?" Isabella grinned, knowing this should extract at least some amusing reaction from Via.

"Oh that's nice I guess," she simply said reacting to the question that she had answered, Isabella seeming like she didn't really know what to do with her life at the moment to Via. With that in mind she didn't even notice that Isabella had wound up behind Via, her double blinking at the sudden change in position. "You mean as a lover?" She simply asked her pausing for a moment to think that over, her taking a moment and then replying with slight redness in her cheeks but an even tone, "I've never really thought about it...I guess I'm more comfortable around girls, having to deal with Vio all day kind of put me off of boys pretty much I guess." With that answered she turns her head a small bit a tinge of red in her cheeks as she asked the same question to Isabella, "What about you Isa?"


She figured since she had answered the question she might as well ask the one who asked it first, you know symmetry.
