Neb seemed to examine his arms, he traced the leather up and realized it connected with his collar. It took a bit of squirming but he managed to get them off right there in the living room, revealing the black marks all over his hands and arms that were all over the area that wasn't visible due to them. Where the buckles were, were dark due to how tight the straps were pulled. He then followed Ssge to the bathroom, suddenly becoming interested in his boots. Those had never been off ever! Curiosity began to hit him... Did he even have human feet?

Sage gasped when he saw the marks. " I think I need to get you new clothes if your current clothes are giving you marks. " He said feeling glad he had a lot of money from the last time he stole. That reminds him , he needs to find away to keep getting money. Maybe he should be a bounty hunter , he'll think about it later. " You have to take off your shoes. " Sage said gesturing to the shoes.

Um... How?


The demon dog asked, searching about until he found a zipper he was unaware of. Tattooed hands finally got the boots off and surprisingly, his skin seemed smooth and perfect save for more black marks that matched the ones around his forearms. There was also another band of discoloration from the sheer tightness of the straps on his thighs.


The mask stays. If a mortal looks into the eyes of a hellhound, you perish instantly unless you are mated to him.

Sage nodded and left the room. He went to the kitchen and decided to make food. He was planning to make lasagne and cake as he took out ingredients soon after Lukas walked into the room. " Oh can help! " Lukas asked excitedly and Sage nodded before they began cooking.

The demon dog showered just fine... It felt strange to him. Water was strange, even wheeling his own bare skin felt odd. Yet he loved it. He pinched himself and frowned... No pain? He thought in the mortal world he would feel pain. He bit down into his own hand and felt blood drip, he felt light pressure.... But no pain. He let go of his hand and could feel a good amount of blood dripping into the stream of water, enough to dye it hazy red. He longed to know what mortals physically felt like. What was pain and what was pleasure? What was absolute agony and what wasn't? What would someone else feel like under his now bare fingers. How did carpet feel between your toes. What did mortal blood taste like?


All these questions swirling in his head. He decided to test out what human skin felt like under his fingers. He exited the shower, pulling on just his shorts again and his belt and headed down stairs.


Sage? I- as soon as is fingers made contact with Sage's skin, Neb's skin split. A sudden jolt went through his body... So this was pain... Was this why he had never been ungloved? Perhaps they weren't just for looks? He experimentally brushed his forearm past Sages and watched as a gash split on his own skin, spilling more blood. Seemed that skin to skin contact without the leather stockings would mar him... There had to be a way around that... Perhaps it was something to do with his markings? He had to keep experimenting and see what worked.


He reached down for Sage's hand, wanting to bring it to his cheek bone and test if that would also result in a cut.


Seemed now that he could feel pain. he only wanted to experiment with it, he couldn't figure out if he liked it or not, he couldn't decide if it was unpleasant or just all that much more alluring.

Sage was thoroughly shocked and confused , all he could do was gap before he saw the cuts and how Neb didn't seem to care. Maybe this was a hellhound thing so Sage decided to let him do as he wanted for now. Sage let his hand rest on Neb's cheek and blushed , suddenly glad Lukas went to his to watch his favourite show.

Part of his body screamed at him to stop, but pure facenstion pushed him on. He gave a wince as Sage allowed him to continue and his cheekbone gashed along with the touch. Why did this feel so horrible while feeling so new and different. Teeth beared down on the glass so hard it creaked under the pressure, tears escaped from under the mask.


This shouldn't feel like this. Is this. Strange? Neb asked.

" Its what people call pain and most people don't like it." He said when he heard the glass bar creak. Sage pulled Neb's hand away and went to get a First Aid kit before rushing back. " Sit on the couch. " Sage ordered.

It's the first time he'd ever seen them and this was the first time this has ever happened. He set his hand over one and reached out to touch Sage's hand again... No cut.


It's the runes.

" So the runes are causing this. " Sage said before he got some cloth and wrapped around the runes on Neb's arms. " Ok that should work just fine. Test it out to be sure. " Sage said as he held out his arms.

It feels nice. Feeling anything at all for once. It feels. Odd enough, good.

Hellhounds lived horrifically lives, if they weren't tough they became slaves and slaves were subject to all forms of torture. Even death. This was a great change, he almost loved the soft caress more than the sting and bite of a gash.


This is. Your skin feels so soft."


He pulled the back of Sage's hand against his cheek, enjoying how it felt.


I think I like this more than the rune's magic.

Sage blushed lightly and glanced to the side. " Thank you. " He said with a small smile as the blush deepened.

Sage, don't get mad. But, curiosity is killing me.


The demon hound let his teeth glide over sage's skin, the glass kept him from actually biting him, but a sharp canine tooth would be more than enough to get a decent cut. Once he did he got himself a taste of mortal human blood. The stuff that drove demons mad. A deep growl seeped from him, he stiffened in his tracks as he bit down on the glass harder. It creaked, begging to snap. If it did, sage would be in for it. So many questions about this new world he was in, and the deadly one had just been answered. Human blood was like a drug to demon kind, he'd only continue to crave more of it in he got anymore. It was what drove demons to kill, but Neb was fighting his instincts.

Sage backed bit his lip to keep a small cry of pain from escaping. He gulped when he saw Neb's reaction to his blood and began to back up. " Calm down. " Sage said soothingly as he kept backing up until his back hit a wall and yelped. He got ready to run if he needed to. @Demonhunter

 

[Demonhunter]

The demon hound frowned when he noticed Sage didn't quite like the feel of teeth on his skin. Part of him wanted to pursue, but sage had given him an order. The growling ceased and he then rolled over on his back.


Im sorry, Sage.

Sage sighed and walked over to Neb before smiling and crouching down. " Its ok, you just scared me little. " Sage said as he rubbed Neb's belly. The cut on his neck wasn't hurting anymore and was starting to feel good. He bit lip to stop a content sigh.

She smiled at his cat form, though wishing it was actually him to hold her. She pulled the covers up, then curled up with the warm, purring feline.
"Goodnight, Garfield." She mumbled. Her head was halfway buried in the pillow, as she was sleeping on her side to relieve pressure from her back. Her knees were bent, and allowed her body to form more of a curving shape, as she cocooned around him. Her arms tucked him in close to her.


This moment was amongst her favorite.


Then, as she held him in her arms, she slowly began to fall asleep.

Beast Boy snuggled up to the now snoring Raven. He purred quietly as he rubbed his face up against hers. Saying nothing, so that he would not ruin the moment with words. Minutes later, he was sleeping alongside the love of his life.

Belly rubbing was Neb's favorite thing in the world. He could stay like this all day if Sage would allow it. He had a gentle smile still on his face.
