Fandom Soul Eater: A New Beginning

Realm sensed Atsoku come out of the classroom, but she made no move to acknowledge him. She kept her eyes on the plaques, scanning each of the missions. While she may not be going on any of them, she would like to know what kind of tasks were expected of them and know what her peers would be doing when they were sent out. When Atsoku's hand smacked the board in front of her she didn't flinch. She maintained her careless facade; relaxed posture, resting face, hands in pockets. She rolled her eyes and smirked to herself, and then went to keep reading the other plaques, when suddenly the boy spoke to her. She listened to his miniature speech and shook her head at what he had to say. When he finished, Realm paused a moment to consider what he had asked and what he had told her, deciding on whether or not she wanted to answer. Finally, she turned her head to the right so she could glance at the boy from over her shoulder.

"Just looking. I find it interesting. I wasn't aware that not having a weapon prevented me from being a student," She told the boy with a shrug, her voice even and somewhat uncaring. The words were not cold, but her care free tone covered a layer of sarcasm.

Justin runs up the stairs being late as it is and he quickly enters the school. 'Great what my lucky day, the one day I don't want to be late I go late' he sigh but then he just shrugged it off. It always has to happen eventually but he just walked through the school unaware of where he has to go.

Mac filed in behind Xen and found a seat next to her. He attracted a few strange looks. Was it because he was late? Because of his attire? Because of the white streaks in his hair? There were plenty of odd things to pick on him about, but that's what made him unique. When Death the Kid entered the room, he did his best to hide his face. He felt that if Death the Kid looked at him, he could read his soul. From seeing his soul, it would be no secret that he was born of the Star Clan. Perhaps this wasn't such a good idea after all. He couldn't prevent them from seeing forever. Sooner or later they would find out and he'd be dead, just like that.

Looking back over to Xen, he whispered, "We need to practice as soon as possible." He had to get stronger in the event that he had to fight the DWMA for his life.

Yukina

He listened to the professor's answer which had only really told him what he had already known. What Death The Kid had said was actually more detailed, so it was based mostly on what kind of a weapon/meister they believed they would be best in tune with, that made more sense he didn't think that they would really make such a decision based on what was on some sheet of paper and he was correct. He watched the late students walk in and was disappointed none of them were his meister, perhaps he should have dragged her along with him. Then she wouldn't have been late and he wouldn't be sitting next to some random strangers right now. He wanted to go train with his partner as soon as possible he was a more complex weapon after all and he wanted her to feel comfortable with his weapon form before they went on any missions or did anything of the sort.

Yuri

Yuri followed RJ running not too far behind her meister "I wouldn't get used to it if I were you!" she called out to him but giggled a bit when he ran into some tall redheaded guy stopping to watch and see what would happen. "Sorry he wasn't paying any attention to where he was going" she told the guy who truly was a giant when compared to her petite size, she was barely 5 ft and probably wasn't going to grow any taller anytime soon.

Xen

She listened to Death The Kid's speech intentively, it made her feel inspired and she wanted to become a better meister, she had at first only come here so she could find a weapon she could connect with but now she was actually pretty determined to try her best. And this odd looking guy she was paired up with looked like he would make a great death scythe to her. She nodded when Mac suggested they start training "Yeah, we need to be at our strongest right?" she smiled at him looking forward to seeing what his weapon form would be. She was sure it would be unique and different from the others.

"I say we start picking up missions as soon as possible. The sooner we can start collecting those souls, the closer we'll be to making me a death scythe and you a three... star meister." He looked back to the teacher anxiously awaiting the dismissal. It wasn't that he hated class, he actually liked learning. But there were more important things on his mind.

"I will say it again for those that have just woke up or just got here, class is over. Go train and study over the missions in the hall." Calvin sighed, being a teacher wasn't is forte. He didn't mind it, but the field was where he truly belonged. "Tomorrow you shall take on your first mission, and when you complete it take it to the headmaster. That's it, and good hunting students." A little blunt, maybe a tad bit shallow, but it got the job done.

(@Ink Bottle Faerie for the bloodsucker mission can you have two of your own pairs go on the mission or is that not allowed? like can Yuri&RJ go on the mission with Xen&Mac or because I control two characters will that not work out?)

Xen

She looked at him. "You heard him, let's go then might as well check the list of missions on the way there" she wanted to go on a mission soon too, it was better than the everyday life at the school that was for sure.

Emanuel awoke with a jolt when the teachers started talking. They gave a long speech about the DWMA. Well, nothing he hadn't heard before, but it was kinda nice to hear something from their future principal and teacher, he guessed. When they were done, and mentioned that you were free to do whatever, he instantly glanced over at his meister. "Hey, Sol. I wanna get to doing missions quickly, so we better be prepared. We should go and try to align our soul frequencies, so you can actually hold me." He was rather blunt about it. He hoped that Sol was as set on getting stronger as him. She was his meister after all, and it was more important she was good at fighting, as he didn't do much more than be a weapon.

"We can't fight if I'm too unwieldy for you, so you've got to get used to me."

@Idyllia

Mac stood and flipped his hood up, doing his best to sneak past the teachers. He just didn't want to be noticed by any of the higher ups. Afterwards he took his hood off and looked to his partner. She was still sticking with him, that was a good sign. Perhaps he had a chance with this meister.

Walking up to the assignment wall, Mac started to inspect them. "Most of the missions say keishan. But... this one says witch. What do you think? Want to take it on? Or do you like another one better?"

In a sense he was trying to steer away from the two group missions. He did want to make friends, but he just didn't want too many people finding out about him and his secret.

Xen

She followed her weapon to the missions board, he was right there was mostly Kishin missions and one witch. There was that one about the humans but she didn't think a stealth mission would be the best for a first time. "Well I don't think that were quite ready to take on a witch, we should stick to something simple for now. We should wait until our wavelengths can synch better that's the key to strength anyways, what about the one in Africa it sounds easy enough"

'Not ready! I was born ready! I have to hone my skills...' Mac sighed, 'Stop it Mac, don't let the bad traits of the Star Clan come out. You're better than that.' Looking back to his partner, he nodded, "Yeah, sorry. You're right. I just got a little anxious is all. I'm up for Africa. I haven't been there before either, so I'm sure I'll enjoy it."

(lol it would have been funny if he had a black star moment)

Xen

"Why are you apologizing? we should make decisions together you were only making a suggestion and I'm not always right..." what was up with this guy? he seemed to be hiding something, she wondered what it could be? he was behaving weirdly, she was sure she would find out eventually but it hurt a bit knowing there was something he didn't trust her with... well she assumed it must be something big for him to want to hide it in the first place.

Hunter listened to the introductions alongside Dante, once finished he stood up slowly. "Let's check out the missions." Walking out of the classroom he didn't speak much to Dante, they had a certain hue about them that made it seem like they once again didn't need to say anything to each other to understand what they both were thinking. Once they arrived at the mission board he noticed one with a Witch, this was most likely the easiest chance to get a witch, though it seemed difficult and required pairs or a skilled pair he believed they could get it. "That one, the Witch. We should be able to handle it ourselves, don't you agree?" He'd peer to Dante but he was probably thinking the same thing as Hunter.

Looking to the floor, Mac nodded. "Yeah, I was just a little impulsive with my choice. We should train in a way that we can advance, not just throw ourselves impossible tasks to try to beat."

Deep within himself, Mac wanted to sign onto the witch assignment and run into the middle of the fight. He needed to prove that he wasn't inferior. Yet, the Star Clan instinct would most likely just get him and his partner killed. He had been hearing rumors of another Star Clan member that had risen through the ranks of the DWMA. How had he done it? Did he learn to control his impulses, or was he just like the rest of them?

Xen

The meister kind of glared at the team who was going after the witch mission. She could tell that Mac wanted to prove himself, it was in his eyes. And them taking the job probably wasn't helping him. She looked him in the eyes. "Listen, I'm your meister we were paired together because our souls were though t to be a match, you don't need to prove anything to me I'm sure your just as strong as I am" the ironic part was that she had been an enemy of the star clan. She moved her hair out of the right side of her face to reveal her scar. "I got this because my former weapon had abandoned me and left me there, the star clan didn't hold anything back and I hardly got out of there" X was called that because she also had an X shaped scar on her back. The Samurai attire she wore used to have an open back so it was a symbol of who she was, she had inflicted the wound on herself to show others who she was. She didn't like being part of the normal crowd.

Mac let his shoulders relax a little, slouching. 'Someone who will accept me for who I am. That's all I really need in a meister.' As she began to divulge into her past, Mac started to say that he would never think of abandoning her. However he chocked on air when she mentioned the Star Clan. "Wh-what about the S-s-star Clan?"

Xen

Huh? why was he choking up all of a sudden? "Yeah, The star clan they never liked me much, I was assigned on missions that got in their way. They didn't want me getting in their business so they made "X" one of their enemies" Her past was behind her, she wondered what was wrong with him. "Are you alright? your not sick are you?" He looked a little pale. "What's your deal with the star clan?" was he hiding something related to them somehow? Some of the star clan were still after her even after she joined the DWMA they are pretty persistant.

Hannah and Cameron walked in together, "You know i think were a little late!" Cameron said with a smile on his face, "You know i think we are too!" They both laughed as they walked into the school and went to the bored, they were un-sure of what to do. So they walked around, and then remembered that they were supposed to wait outside for there partners, and so they walked back outside and sat on the steps. "I hope my partner will be here soon, Cameron, and i hope your will be too!" Hannah said with an extremely chipper voice. Cameron just looked at her "They will be there when they get here."

@Captain Arabella @Refaulted

Mac's eyes darted from one side of the hall to the other, looking for some sort of exit. Was he sick? Of course he was sick! Out of all the meisters he could have been paired with, he was given one that had beef against the Star Clan. There went his chances of a quiet entrance.

Fear gripped at Mac as his mind started playing tricks on him. People were staring at him, they knew exactly what he was. Everyone knows that the DWMA had gone on a mass genocide of the Star Clan because they were considered to be evil. They all wanted to kill him!

Suddenly, broken star shapes flared in his eyes as he bolted for the nearest exit. He couldn't breathe. It was only a matter of time before one of the stronger classmates caught up and put an end to him. He didn't ask to be part of the Star Clan! In fact, he was shunned from it! Why did he still have all the curses of being a Star?!

Ryushi rubbed his head from where he had been hit in the head by the little stone that student had thrown at him. He hoped that it wasn't going to be like that everyday here. He sighed, looking around and noticing most standing in front of the Mission Bulletin Board. He walked up to it and stood behind most of the other student's, trying not to get in their way. He didn't have his partner yet, so He didn't have a reason to look at the board except for incase there were any he could easily do himself. He frowned at all the requirements of being with your partner. He sighed again, walking over to the opposite wall and leaning against it. He watched the student's walk to and from the Board, examining the missions. He wondered if it would have been different coming to school last year, if he hadn't been so unhealthy. He waved it off, deciding it really wouldn't have been. He sighed and started to walk out of the school. When he got to the entrance he noticed two student's sitting on the steps, talking. One was a girl, who seemed short and had black hair with blond streaks in it. The other was a male, with black hair and looked relatively tall. Ryushi went over possibilities in his head. He could walk past them and go home to another dull day of sitting at home alone, or he could at least try to make some friends so he wasn't totally alone in school. He shrugged and walked up behind the pair, looking down at them, and actually noticing how tall he really was. He coughed, clearing his throat. "Hi..." His voice was barely audible, and he frowned at his nervousness. He always had trouble making friends.

Both Hannah and Cameron turned around, Hannah looked at him and smiled "Hi! Im, Hannah and this is Cameron." She paused for a moment she was having a vision, it was of two people a boy and her, the boy had a light brown hair and she guessed it was him, they were about to battle someone or something, and then it ended. As she had that she had froze and looked like an owl with wide eyes, and Cameron just watched her to make sure she did not fall, "Im fine, im back!" she said in a chipper voice and then looked at the boy behind her. Cameron then asked in a calm voice. "Whats your name?"

After listening to the speeches and the introductions, Soleil slightly smiled. She thought it was nice to have the principal give a speech to them. Aidan started talking to her and she slightly turned to him. He was right, she had to practice wielding him so she doesn't fumble and drop him during a real battle. "Alright," Soleil responded. "I'm ready to train to become better." She desperately wanted to become the best meister she could be. She too wanted to make sure their soul frequencies aligned perfectly, which would take a lot of mental training rather than physical.

Xen watched her partner run away and felt worried. What was going on with him? he looks scared, of what? was it something she said? she ran after him which probably wasn't the best thing to do since he thought people were after him but she didn't know what was going on in his head, all she knew was her partner was acting strange and freaking out. She was only trying to help him after all. "Calm down! Mac what's wrong?!" she thought about his reactions and his unusual appearance and then it snapped at her what the problem was. He was star clan? but he didn't act like them, the star clan were all self centered and they all thought they were the strongest. Is that why he was acting so nervous all the time? was he trying to act like a normal person? that made sense... it's not like all star clan were evil, just many of them.

Ryushi tensed up a bit. "M-me? I-I'm Ryushi Morimoti." He looked down at the ground, embarrassed. He was feeling nervous trying to talk to these students, and the girl had suddenly looked into the distance, like she was in a trance. Was she trying to not notice him for a second. He sighed. He was getting nowhere trying to make friends. "I-I'm new here...Well, not actually n-new. I-I was supposed t-to start last year, b-but I couldn't. But n-now I am. I'm rambling now..." He facepalmed, trying to think of a way top backpedal this. It was only the first day. He had plenty of time to make friends. Why did he choose the first day to try? "Sorry. Am I bothering the both of you?"
