Fandom Soul Eater: A New Beginning

Ahri instantly smiled when Yukina recognized her, but pursed her lips and stood straighter as he asked the question. "Well, she tried to give me the black blood but my body rejected it. I was vomiting for weeks." She offered an awkward smile. Trust was the first step to a partnership, she was not going to hide anything. "So, since you already know the significance of my family, what is yours like?" Her bright smile wrote that she was a ditz.

Yukina wasn't surprised by that, he'd heard even Crona's body had rejected it at first. "Ah, I see.." then she asked about his family... he didn't like to talk much about it. "I don't have a family, to have a family is to have somebody that wants you... I don't have that so I don't have a family" sounded pretty emo but it was the truth. A family wasn't just someone your related too, it's supposed to be the people your closest to and who love you unconditionally he didn't have a family in his eyes.

"Well, I guess that makes me your family then!" She smiled and nudged him with her elbow, her hands were stuffed into her pockets. She felt a tinge of awkward but a flow of happy. If this situation worked out, she wouldn't have to go back. She reached her left hand up to adjust the clips in her hair. "So," there was an awkward pause, "What do we do now?"

"I don't know, don't you want to see my weapon form? I thought you might want to know what kind of weapon I am..." he ignored her comment on her being his family, he knew she was only trying to be nice but he hardly knew her... He wanted to know how she would wield him as well. His so called father had told him the meister's strength lies in his/her confidence while holding the weapon.

"Oh yeah!" Ahri responded with did a little hop. "What is the weapon, or would you rather show me?" She smiled and held her hand out for Yukina to form onto if he wanted. Her hand was not far from her body, but far enough for a large weapon to land. She felt her heart almost jump out of her chest. Stupid, how could you forget something like that? She mentally face-palmed herself.

"Okay" he said plainly before transforming into a pink sword with jewel at the base, fairly big but not too heavy since he could convert. "I'm also a bow, you can change my forms yourself manually without me doing so. It gives the meister more control, pull the lever at my base" the design was that when it was pulled the sword would literally split in half and the strings on the side of the sword would act as a bow.

(That's not me in the picture, but here's a model of his weapon form and the lever I'm talking about to turn into a bow, if you look carefully you can see the blade splits in half and it's hard to see but their are strings inside the blade so when it splits, it's ready to use as an arrow)

(Sorry, I'd respond sooner, but I go to bed at 3 am >.< timezones...)

He got to a clear area away from the crowds. The ground was dusty like everywhere else. It really would've been better if they went to the forest down there, but it wasn't like they were here to train for real. It was just a try to see if they could make their wavelengths match, more than anything. He scratched his neck and turned to the girl. "Well then, you ready? I'm going to transform now." He said, before clapping his hands together and having the light of transformation spread across him. He got a bit of air while doing so, and his 9 feet long form sunk a bit into the ground, hanging sideways.

Soleil studied the weapon for a bit. She was amazed at how tall it was, then she questioned herself. Could she even hold it and wield it? Walking around him, she smiles and decides to go in. She gently touches the blade, then tries to lift it up. It was a bit heavy for her likings, but it actually wasn't as heavy as she anticipated it to be. She grabs the handle and stands in a fighting stance, wielding the giant blade with both of her hands. With a calm mind, she feels a connection inside her. It's something she cannot describe.

I guess this really is my weapon. Our soul wavelengths are compatible.

As soon as she thought that she smiled, then fell over dropping Aidan, still not used to the heavy weapon. It may be lighter to her, but it was still kind of heavy. When Soleil was in her old town, she fought with small knives and daggers.

@Kriyze

Soleil had managed to pick him up. It almost surprised Aidan, but he was relieved. Unfortunately, it didn't take many seconds before she dropped him and fell. He quickly transformed back, landed on all fours, and then leapt to land under her. He didn't quite manage it, but at least he got his arms underneath her. He stood up, and said "You alright? That almost worked well." It surprised him how defensive he felt about her. Maybe it was just him taking this whole meister-weapon thing very seriously.

"Yeah, I'm fine. Thank you." Soleil replied gratefully. She was content with that performance because she was at least able to pick him up. Although Soleil was naturally a calm person, she felt giddy. Before their practice, she clung on to the hope that they would work out despite their different preferences and height, and she was right about it. Soleil gave Aidan a contradicting relaxed, yet excited smile.

"Yeah, I'm fine. Thank you." He offered her a somewhat faked smile, and responded "Good. Would be a shame if you fell over and got a concussion or something during the first hour of school." There was room for improvement. Lots of room for improvement, but he was sure they'd be able to achieve greatness together. They just needed a bit of training. He looked at his watch again. "We'll have to train at some point, both physically and mentally, but right now I think we'd better get back." Some time had passed, and it looked like the lessons were about to start soon, and according to what he'd heard, this place was like a maze, and finding the appropriate room might not be the easiest thing.

"Class starts shortly. Let's not be late." He said. He wanted good grades, after all, and being late, even to an introductory lesson like this, was strictly against his principles. He should take as many opportunities at listening to more experienced people as he could, they usually all had something wise to say about combat.

Soleil nodded slightly and started walking into the mountainous school. She didn't know what she was in for today, but she surely was curious. She would have to train with Aidan quite a bit to get used to him. Soleil has a determined spirit, always ready to get better. Pulling out her schedule from her bag, she peered at the room number, then quickly looked back up to check the classroom's room number. This school is absolutely gigantic, she thought to herself as she saw the inside of it. How would she be able to find the right classroom?

Soleil was soon immersed in a big hallway of students trying to find the right classrooms. She immediately became uncomfortable with all of the rough contact and people scrambling. As she walked around looking for the classroom, she tried drowning in her thoughts to keep from noticing the shoving and pushing from other students.

What kind of teacher would I encounter today? Would they teach us any tips on how to make our souls completely be aligned with each other? What kind of fighting techniques would they teach us? I wonder if Aidan and I would be successful in the long run.

Mac started doing pushups as he listened to Break. "Physical training requires mental discipline. It helps you form a sound body, and through mental discipline comes a sound mind. Thus, resulting in a stronger soul. So you could say I'm doing a soul workout. I have to be the best I can be for my Meister. Thanks for the advice by the way. I'll be listening."

Mac began to wonder where his partner was. There were plenty of DWMA students present now, she had to be somewhere. Taking a quick look, he noticed a girl standing and staring at the others. 'Could that be her? I'll find out soon enough.' He balanced on one leg again and raised his hand, trying to get the girls attention.

The girl nodded, and walked off towards to school. Aidan followed shortly behind her. His sense of direction wasn't bad, but it definitely wasn't good. Tagging along with her would most likely lead to him getting to his destination quicker, which didn't sit wrong with him at all. Inside the building, he realized that following Soleil had been a good idea. This place was like a maze. But it also looked cool. Going here for a couple years forward didn't sound like a bad thing at all.

Pushing and shoving seemed like the trend around here. Fortunately, most people didn't go for him, and walked in small arcs around him. He looked down at the girl on front of him, and said "Is it okay with you if I just call you 'Sol'?

Hunter grunted as he was ran into, though he shrugged patting the kid on his back as he continued to move on his way. "I didn't see the reason to read the form of where we went first because it seemed... rule-ish?" With a shrug he continued watching the other partners figure each other out, it amused him in an odd way, even passing the guy doing odd physical exercises all Hunter could must was a rude response. "Pathetic don't you think? Not everything will take physical prowess, in fact I'm almost positive most of the missions will take mental thought, and he appears to be lacking that." Hunter chuckled lightly at his own joke walking alongside his partner, they mended well together so he assumed their personality's might be very close as well.

Being pulled out of her thoughts, she noticed she was questioned. "Yeah, of course." Soleil replied, studying the last door she hadn't checked. That one definitely was her classroom. She was infuriated how this is the one she last checked, but quickly shrugged it off. At least I found it, she thought to herself. She studied the classroom. It was halfway filled with students, while the others probably contributed to the pushing and shoving in the halls. Soleil was sure to get a bruise on her arm from that. The classroom was colored the same as the school, but the layout looked like a classroom you would see anywhere. She quickly took her seat, not wanting to continue to idle by and stare at everyone.

She was looking in the crowed wondering where her partner could be in this crowed and then she laughed seeing the guy standing on one leg and hopping around like an idiot made her smile. "What are you doing?" she asked the unusual fellow. At least this was entertaining, she liked odd people. She never did really fit into the crowed one would call 'normal' herself.

Mac rolled up to his partner and extended a hand. "I'm just training. I refuse to be inferior!" he responded. Yet when he saw her expression, he stopped and blushed. "I-is that weird? I'll stop now if you want."

Lowering his head slightly, he continued, "So, y-you're my partner right? Eh, what's your name again?"

Xen

She smiled trying to stop the laughing. "It's not weird to be weird, it may not make any sense to you but everyone's a little different, nobody's the same so aren't we all a little unusual?" she lightly pat the weapon on his head. "I'm Xen, but you can just call me X. So your Micheal I take it? Nice to finally meet you!" She could tell this guy was a bit nervous. Well she had kind of just laughed in his face she wasn't trying to be mean she just found his behavior interesting and she liked that.

Professor Wing was standing at his podium, blankly staring at the speech he had written up the night before. It was atrocious and it had no use to him, for he wanted the new students to respect him, not his speeches. He sighed, I was taught so much and I can't even make a speech. Calvin thought back to his teacher, He would know what to do right about now. Calvin said as he explored his memories. He threw the paper into the trash and looked to the clock. Not long now, the bell will ring, Calvin laughed, The poor freshman probably won't make it here.

He peered at the clipboard, noting all the weapons and miesters. They all seemed paired, Except for the difficult ones, Calvin let out a groan. Troublemakers or troubled souls, either one bad for me. Sword Breaker and Cross, both weapons that need special meisters, ones that can handle the intense wavelengths. And the two unpaired meisters, Realm and Hannah, both just needed a weapon. It will be hard work, but they will have to make do. Calvin watched the clock.

3... 2... 1. The bell struck, all students should be heading to their class with Professor Wing.

Yukina

The Strawberry Terrorist heard the bell ring and was a bit disappointed, he had hoped to get to know his meister a bit better before class started but there wasn't anything he could really do about it. He was also a bit curious to see what his teacher was going to look like 'Mr.Wing huh?' sounded a bit unusual to him but who was he to complain he was sure he was going to be a great tutor, or he wouldn't have gotten to work here at the DWMA otherwise. He ransformed back into a person and looked to Ahri "Well looks like we should be getting to class huh?" he waved goodbye to her and went running in the other direction not wanting to be late on his first day here. He was technically a freshmen since this was his first year here but he was at a much higher level than most of the other first years. He walked inside the classroom to see the professor glancing at a clipboard with names on it, he seemed bothered by it... class technically hadn't begun ye so he thought it would be okay to ask and introduce himself. "Hey, Mr.Wing? what's that list for?" he figured it out on his own. "Oh... so these are the weapons that they couldn't find meisters for?" he kind of felt bad for them... he was lucky that he had gotten a meister himself and he could imagine being told they couldn't find anyone who could match your wavelengths. Definitely a disappointment... He was still kind of curious how his wavelengths went well with that of a Gorgon, the two people he'd always looked up to were Death The Kid and Crona and now he had been paired up with his sister he felt honored.

Xen

She heard the bell ring right when she had just met her partner... Awww now that was disappointing and it had taken her seemingly forever to find the guy, she hoped they would work together as well as the academy said that they would. She looked at Mac noticing students heading to class. "We should get going too" she stated plainly staring up at the building where the sound of the bell ringing had come from.

Yuri

Yuri was worried about her partner. 'What was going on with him?' she asked herself. He seemed to be in pain and not just physical pain, deeper than that he must have been remembering something tragic. poor guy... the bell began to ring in her ears she shook him lightly by the shoulder. "Are you okay?. come on snap out of we need to get to class..."

Dante looked to the boy that had run in Hunter almost at the same time before shaking his head. "Foolish kids." He only nodded hearing what Hunter had said continuing to walk down the hallway looking up to the clock before walking again. "I think he can enjoy himself if he believes that will be what makes him stronger. But you are correct, a large amount of these missions will require mental skills." He'd say this tapping his head then the bell would ring rather loudly causing his eye to twitch in annoyance. "Best make our way to class now. " He'd say starting to follow a flow of students towards the classroom with Professor Wing.

Calvin glanced up, noticing the one student rushing in, while the rest seem to be taking their time. First impressions Calvin. He looked up at the pink haired boy, "You must be Yukina, or as some call you," With this he had a smile on his face, "The strawberry terrorist. Interesting name, I hope the terrorist part is something of a metaphor.". He glanced back down to his list, "Yes, these are unmatched students.". He saw the look of sadness cross Yukina's face, "Don't worry, I have a plan for them.". The conversation was all in a tone that reflected the professor as relaxed, but gave a hint of caring when he talked about the unmatched students. He didn't feel as though a complete conversation was necessary at the moment, for he needed to think. Calvin gestured toward the semi circle auditorium, "Find a seat, close to your partner hopefully. Oh and Strawberry, call me Professor, or Professor Wing. I didn't spend most of my life studying to go just by Mister." He the student a smug look before pondering back to the list.

Yukina

He nodded bowing slightly in respect. "Yes, sorry professor wing. And the Terrorist part was mostly in the past..." Back when he had been living on the streets he used to do what he had to to get by and he had actually been in a gang for quite awhile, Yuki may not have looked like much how he was pink and many underestimated him thinking he must have been some sort of wuss. His name was officially given after he learned how to shoot soul wavelengths which were indeed pink and looked like big strawberries but he was called that by his former gangmates even before then because he always seemed so emotionless while fighting he reminded them of a cruel tyrant the look he always had in his eyes, a terrorist. But all of that was behind him now anyways and there was no need to go through such useless memories, they were nothing more than a fading dream, a fool's nightmare. He silently took a seat as he was told and waited for the others to arrive hoping that like the professor had said he would get to sit next to his meister.
