Fandom Soul Eater: A New Beginning

Hannah looked up at him "Sit, down silly im you meister! Of course you were not bothering us, how could you be?" She laughed a bit. Cameron just looked at him, " She was experimented on as a child by her parents, and it failed or so they say. She has the ability to see some of the future." He said as he looked at Ryushi with eyes that showed no emotion. Hannah turned and looked at Cameron, "You gonna scare him! Its true my parents were wizards and after the thing failed they abandoned me!" She said as she punched Cameron in the arm.

"Alright,I'm ready to train to become better." Aidan smiled. A real smile. He was paired with someone who seemingly cared, which was nice. Very nice, actually. They might even be able to get along well. "Awesome. There's this large forest area, just a bit away. I noticed it on the way in. Sounds like a good place, yeah?" He didn't wait for an answer, and grabbed her sleeve, gently pulling her with him.

@Idyllia

When he heard his partner's voice, his instinct told him not to heed it. However, from the years of him trying to suppress his instincts he naturally looked back. As he did so, he tripped and slammed into the floor.

Quickly curling into a ball, Mac shook uncontrollably. His instinct fought his fear, but his fear was the only thing holding him back from trying to kill someone. Yet being fearful was being inferior in his mind. All he could do was clench his muscles and hope to remain in control.

With choppy breaths, Mac began to whisper, "Please don't kill me, please don't kill me. I don't want to be a Star. Please don't kill me."

Ryushi sat down about a foot or two away from them. He didn't want to be rude and sit too close. He sat there, his hands clasped together and him slouching over. He turned his head slightly to look at them, and gave a weak smile. "Sorry, it's just that it's been a while since I've been to an actual school. I never had a lot of friends, too, since I had my family." He decided that he wouldn't talk about the experiment thing. It didn't sound pleasant, so he didn't want to pressure them about it. "And don't worry, he wasn't really scaring me. Too much." He chuckled. It was mostly true. He wasn't really scared of the boy, who was named Cameron. He was just a little worried about the look he gave him.

Xen

She watched him crawl up into a ball and felt sorry for him, the poor guy... she leaned down on her knees to look him in the eyes and pick him up from the floor bringing him back on his feet gently. "I don't care if your a star Mac, your my partner" she may have been the star clan's enemy but she had only been doing her job. She was a samurai like Masamune, she protected the weak and the star clan had preyed on someone she was trying to protect it's not like she wanted to be their enemy.

Mac sat against the wall, bringing his knees to his chest and staring blankly at the other wall. She wasn't going to kill him, and he had just made himself look like a fool. Anyways, the people looking at him before were probably wondering what was wrong, not thinking of killing him. Hopefully not many people had seen. Perhaps he still had a chance of going unnoticed by the higher ups.

"I-I'm sorry. That was selfish of me. But... y-you're really okay with me being a Star?"

Xen

She nodded and smiled softly. "Why would I care that your star clan?, It's not like I hate them I never chose to be their enemy you are you and I'm me and were partners I'm not going to kill you because of who your parents were, you were born that way it wasn't a choice." she gave him a friendly hug with a pat on the back. Poor guy, he was scared for nothing.

As she was pulled along by her partner, they passed the bulletin board full of missions. "Which mission should we do?" Soleil asked Aidan. She wondered how they would do in fight. What fighting style would she try out? She was sure to be calm in battle, as she's seen some scary things and fought many times before attending DWMA. Still walking by Aidan's side, she tried to think which mission they could do. The Kishin ones look very exciting, but she doesn't know if they're ready for it. Soleil shook her head.

If we're not ready for it, we'll get ready for it. A determined look sets on Soleil's face.

@Kriyze

As Xen spoke, Mac started to sniffle. She had accepted him for who he was, not on the things of the past. The fact that she accepted him as a Star made him feel even better. Perhaps he could show that a Star could be more than just evil and mayhem. Then he could possibly redeem his true name, Red*Star.

When she embraced him, hot tears began to pry at his eyelids. Yet he held them back. He could be sensitive, but he didn't need to show it yet. Besides, he needed to retain some level of intimidation if he was going to keep the higher ups off his back. Standing back up, he brushed out his clothes and cleared his throat. "Alright... partner. Should we sign up for the mission and start practicing?"

Huntrey said:
"I have an idea, sir," Break began. "Let me take Cross out for a spin as a partner. I am a greater Weapon than most here, but I've been a Meister a few years longer than the rest as well."

Break took a second to try to remember what was posted on the board earlier in the week, then mentioned, "I'll go look for the Weapon pair in Japan. You know I could handle that one alone anyway!"

He wasn't sure if he could expect a positive answer, exactly, but Break had to try. He wasn't sure who this Cross kid was, but a Demon Weapon wasn't going to be compatible with most here. Actually, Break assumed he'd be the exact opposite of her; lawful as possible and noble in soul. But still, it was worth a shot. And if things went sour on the mission, Break was more than confident that he was strong enough to subdue an inexperienced Weapon.

He continued, "Of course, I'll do demonstrations for the class with you. I'm familiar enough with the work to teach this stuff by now. If things work out, you can handle the lessons and I'll work with Cross to give examples."

The class was empty except for the teacher and his assistant, he felt relaxed as he discussed this with Break. "I have no doubt the Demon Weapon will cause problems for a meister, but a calm soul like yours might be what it needs." Calvin contemplated the idea before starting again. "I planned to use you as a way to show off resonating with a partner, but two students might have more advice then me.".

Calvin didn't like the idea, but it wasn't bad either. "Alright, clear it with the headmaster, and you can partner with Cross.". It had almost slipped his mind with Break's new proposition, he handed him a sheet of paper. It covered all the missions, but the witch hunt was circled. "Not many older DWMA students so I assume that this will be two newer teams. While I trust they will be ample, I don't trust a witch to be fair. When that mission is accepted, you, Cross, and I will trail the students." Calvin gave Break a wryly smile, "We won't intervene if we don't have to, but just in case.".

Hannah stopped and looked at him, "Your my weapon, come sit with us. Did you not get the letter?" Hanna motioned for him to come closer with a large smile on her face, "I know you have had problems and so have i and its okay to be nervous, but since were gonna be partners we need to be open and trusting okay!" Hannah thought in the back of her head that he might not take well to this but she hopped he would.

@Refaulted

Ryushi didn't move closer, since he still was a bit nervous. "I didn't get any letter about my partner. Only about my enrollment. I got a note about my partner when I got here today, but I hadn't really paid attention since I was late." He patted the slip in his pocket. "I had your name, but not what you looked like." He sighed, running a hand through his hair. "I'll try my best to be a weapon for you. I hope I do a good job." He turned to look forward again, as some students started to leave the school grounds. He didn't have a problem trusting her. It was all the opening up part. "So, in class, the Professor said that we should get to know our partners more, so he should develop social connections with them. So, can I join you guys on where you go sometimes?" He looked at Cameron, wondering if he would object to the idea. He hadn't seemed so pleased that Ryushi was Hannah's Weapon. Ryushi didn't want to make him angry, so he wanted permission from them first.

Cameron just looked at him, sensing that the kid was nervous and a little jumpy. So he decided to have a little fun with him because he had not run into anyone as jumpy as him and thought it would be a bit funny but mean as well so he didn't push it to far "What if i say no and Hannah says yes? What are you going to do then huh?" He asked as he stood up and walked forwards to him, Hannah just looked at him "What are you doing?!" She asked in surprise. "Would it be a problem? Kid?!" He said as he walked ever closer.

Ryushi looked up at him, trying to make himself smaller. "T-then I guess I-I'll stay away? I don't want to be rude or anything..." He slid back a bit. Inwardly, he laughed at himself. The guy didn't scare him. He seemed to be Hannah's friend, so he didn't want to get in between them. "I don't want to just intrude on your friendship or anything. I'm just some sickly guy. Sorry." He ducked around him and started to briskly walk away from the pair. 'Great first day, Ryushi. Great first day.' He shook his head. This was going to be a tough partnership.

Cameron stood in front of him "I was kidding, kid don't be so up tight. Of course you can hang with us come on were still waiting for my partner, i would never hurt another person unless i had to." He said laughing, and then turned sorta serious and then his face was calm, Hannah walked up to him and punched him he fell and landed on the stairs KO'ed, "YOU jerk! That was so mean, you can't do that to people!" and then she realized that he was hurt and sat down and said she was sorry and looked at Ryushi and said "He can be a real big meanie but he would never hurt you unless he had too." She then smiled and demanded he sit with her and wait for him to wake up.

Ryushi looked down at Cameron, then up at Hannah, stunned. "You just...punched him?" He walked over and looked down at Cameron, then sat next to Hannah. He sighed. "Sorry. I just didn't want to get between the two of you. You both seem like close friends and all that." He crossed his arms on his knees and rested his chin on them. "Though, it seems like a very...physical friendship." He chuckled. He pulled out a piece a piece of candy and popped into his mouth, chewing on it. He pulled out another and offered it to Hannah. He enjoyed candy, or any sweets, so he always carried some around with him, but he didn't want to hog them all. "Want one? Their really good. And super sweet."

"Sure, i might as well tried it right? Yes we are friends we have known each other for a long time, he was a trouble maker as a kid and i was the new girl we got along right away! You know i hope me and you ca become as close of friends as me and Cameron are! Oh and i punched him because that was mean!" Then she put the candy in her mouth and made an interesting face, "This is really good, oh and don't be afraid of Cameron okay!" She said with a smile.

She smiled at her partner glad that he was back to normal. "Yeah, let's do that" she really didn't care that he was star clan, in fact in a way that made her want to make him a death scythe even more just to prove to the world that he could do it. Nobody of the star clan has made it high in the DWMA since Black*Star but she wanted to add Mac to that list now.

Cross sighed as she slipped into the now empty classroom. She had opened the door with her foot, or at least that was what one would assume since her sleeves of her straight jacket were wrapped and fastened so her arms where pretty much pinned in front of her. As always her hair fell wildly into her face she flicked her head in an attempt to get it out of her eyes. She had no idea why she'd been called to Professor Wing's classroom. without a partner and all she was pretty much free to do her own thing, a situation that for the moment suited her just fine. She had entered the classroom soundlessly and leaned against the door choosing to observe for a moment. After a while she cleared her throat making her presence known. A half smile curved her lips as her mismatched eyes showed her amusement.

"So what is that you wanted Professor... I got called away from an excellent nap in the nurses office..."

"Oh, well if I would've known you were napping I wouldn't have disturbed you." Working with Stein he wasn't reeled back by her presence and he smiled at her crazed appearance. "I understand you don't have a meister, and it just so happens my assistant is willing to work with you." At that Calvin pointed to Break. "I will clear it with your headmaster, but he shouldn't have a problem. So from this point forward I want you training and spending time with each other.".

He cleared his throat, "This of course is temporary until we can find you a meister, one that can truly harness your power. Besides partnering with Break, you both will working with me. You are both incredibly strong weapons and while you may be overbearing to some, I will handle you both with ease. This being said I don't need the help until someone accepts the witch mission." He pushed his glasses back up to the bridge of his nose, "I don't think the more cockier students will be able to handle it, so we shall go to monitor it, just to make sure it goes according to plan.".

"Any questions?" He prompted the Demon Weapon, watching as she relaxed in her straight jacket.

Cross shifted her gaze from Calvin to Break, staring at the weapon for a moment. It was clear that she was sizing him up. He seemed to be of an appropriate build to be able to handle her weapon form. The issue was her highly unusual Soul Wavelength. Being an experimental weapon her wavelength was much more aggressive then most and she knew how dangerous misfiring her could be for her meister. But if the professor though it would be a good idea who was she to argue. She didn't exactly have anything better going on other than hanging around with Dr. Stein or napping in the nurses office. She shrugged, her arms shifting about a bit before the soft sound of her buckles coming undone could be heard. Her sleeves fell to her sides and she grinned, she was getting faster at that.

"Heh... I have no complaints... If you both thinks it's a good idea than who am I to argue... Just don't blame me if this turns into a f***ing catastrophe..."

She shrugged, but the grin on her face showed she was actually quite pleased with the situation. She was getting bored just hanging back, one way or another this would be fun. Besides she had a goal to accomplish and this might be the way to get it done. Turning to Break she grinned tilting her head to one side.

"Pleasure to meet you... I'm Expiremental Demon Weapon CSW: Mark II... But you can call me Cross..."

Dante would feel the pressure in his back as the masked kid rushed into him. He'd only gaze at the white haired boy his gray eyes staring through him Dante wouldn't say a word he'd only tsk. Before looking to the boys partner an even smaller girl, suddenly there was a twitch in his eye he'd pull up his hood and cover his face. The girl reminded him of his last partner, something he'd much rather forget. "Watch where you're going." He'd say before turning around acknowledging Hunter. "Yes I agree now sign us up, I would rather get out of this school and go on a walk." He said calmly though he said it breathing out. He'd then turn to walk back into the classroom just evading the boy who had launched himself out of there. Dante kicked his foot out catching the door before opening it back up leaning in the door frame his face shrouded by his hood, though his eyes still seemed to glow. He listened to what Professor Wing had to say, taking in what he could about the girl named Cross. He was mildly interested, he wondered what her form was and her design.

Ryushi nodded and chewed on another piece of candy. "Me, too. As long as I don't make Cameron made by doing so." He swallowed the candy and decided to pull out another piece and hand it to Hannah. He popped one more in his mouth and let the flavor wash over his tongue. He swallowed it and enjoyed the sweetness it left on his taste-buds. As more and more student's left the school to go on jobs, he started to think if there were any jobs let open. "So, what do we do now? Aside from sitting here on the steps of the school."

"You know its sometimes hard to see those when they are hiding, but a soul is never hard to find." Calvin looked towards the student leaning in through the door frame, eavesdropping. Calvin didn't take kindly to those who disrespected him, but the kid was almost acting like him. As a child a demon weapon would have caused Calvin to stop at no ends to see it, but this was still no room to eavesdrop. "Can I help you... Dante I believe?". Calvin lifted his feet on his desk and awaited maybe an apology, no the kid looked like a troublemaker, so most likely a whatever and he would leave.
