Fantasy Silence Among The Roses

[JVSbeast]

"This." I say, grabbing a vine. It pulls me up high and then I swing off it, shooting another vine to my hand. I swing from vine to vine in a circle and then jump off and flip, landing in front of Kate.

Kate's face lit up and she walked over to a vine. "C-can I try?" She asked excitedly.

He chuckled shaking his head "You still remember that? My father would've had my head on a pike if he ever found out" he smirked @sitanomoto

 

[JVSbeast]

"Of course!" I respond. I float the end of the vine down right next to her. "Don't worry, it's 100% safe." I smile at her. "Just grab the vine when you want to go."

Kate looked tentatively at the vine and grabbed it slowly. ((Sorry for the short posts lots of boxes to move >-<

 

[JVSbeast]

As soon as she grabbed it, the vine yanked her up. When she swung and released, I made sure another vine found its way into her hand instantly. She flew from vine to vine like a monkey in the jungle.

Kate laughed and looked down, the forest floor flying below her. She shut her eyes and let the wind tug at her hair and clothes. When she swung back around to him, she jumped down in front of him, a wide grin spread across her face. "That was amazing!" She exclaimed. She had never had so much, well, fun in her life!

 

[JVSbeast]

"I know right? Pretty fun." I smile at her, green eyes glowing. "I always used to do this as a kid in the forest. I was left in the forest as a baby by my parents, and I learned stuff like this when I was growing up." I look down and kick a pebble. "That's why I love the forest. When I was a kid it was all I knew."

 

[catspit]

Kate rolled her eyes, still smiling to herself. "You talk about your past like it's so horrible." She chuckled to herself, looking down.

 

[JVSbeast]

"Naw, it was actually pretty fun." I say smiling. "I learned natural plant and earth magic from the creatures there, so mine is pretty powerful." I slam the earth with my right foot and rise up two huge chunks of earth on Either side of me.

 

[catspit]

I jump, a bit startled, before regaining myself and trying to act unimpressed. "C-cool." I stammer. "So, what do ya wanna do?" Kate asked a little awkwardly. She had never been alone with someone before, not trying to kill them. And a-a boy.

 

[JVSbeast]

"I don't know." I respond, scratching my head. "How about you decide?" I ask her, the earth disintegrating besides me. I turn towards her, my emerald eyes sparkling in the sunlight.

 

[catspit]

She quickly looked away, not wanting to make eye contact. "Well I don't know either.. So...?" Kate leaned against a tree, looking down at her feet.

"Why do you always look away when I look at you?" I ask her, walking closer to her.

Kate took a slight step away, looking up and sticking out her bottom lip. "No reason. Why are you always looking at me? Have a staring problem?" She asked, trying to return to her sarcastic self, but not really wanting to.

 

[JVSbeast]

I laugh. "You just seem so...secluded inside yourself." I say, kicking some rocks on the ground. "I know deep down your not sarcastic and rude. Deep down inside you're the Kate I saw while you swung on the vines.." I smile briefly. "Inside your happy and kind, and you decide to cover it with sarcasm and anger. Why?"

 

[catspit]

Kate ground her teeth. "Why should that matter to you?" She growled.

 

[JVSbeast]

Her anger is very apparent and I back up. "Well, I don't know if you consider me your friend, but I consider you mine. I'm concerned and trying to be nice. And you just reject it." I say.

 

[catspit]

Kate shook her head. "I- i'm.." The words seem to stick in her throat. "I'm just.."

 

[JVSbeast]

"I'm just what?" I ask her, nearing her once again.

 

[catspit]

Kate turned to him, "I'm just scared okay? I don't know how to talk to people, I don't know how to be, how to b-be normal okay??" She cried out, turning away from him, a lump raising in her throat.

 

[JVSbeast]

"Don't be. Your awesome how you are. Just be the happy and kind Kate you are on the inside." I smile. "And for talking to people, your talking to me right now aren't you?"

 

[catspit]

"No, I-I can't. I can't have friends, o-or relationships. I should've killed you while I had the chance.." She whimpered. Kate whirled around to face him. "This wasn't supposed to happen."

 

[JVSbeast]

"Ok, I'm trying to be a nice friend but I guess your just not gonna let me be." I plop down on the ground sadly. "Kill me then if you want to."
